Once again the Phamacy which is supposed to open at 9 is not open at 9:10!! Can't believe how unprofessional this place is!

This Walmart has more pleasant employees compared to others, but on Christmas Eve I went to the 10 items or less line thinking that it was the best choice with my 8 items, I was sadly wrong. I had three ladies in front of me and the lady in the middle of her transaction had produce, but the cashier **DEBORAH..DEBRA? (Older Caucasian lady) could not find the code to what seemed to be 2 tangerines. I kid you not, she took 5-7 minutes for a simple produce. In my head I was thinking why doesn't she just give the lady the tangerines, say "merry Christmas" and call it a day. It just didn't make sense to hold up a line over some petty produce. Instead the cashier DEBORAH shrugs her shoulders, gives up, and puts the fruit under her register without the lady's permission and no questions asked. I was in shock, mainly because the customer was nice enough to not even address the cashiers wrongs. I couldn't believe she wouldn't let that elderly lady have the fruit that she picked out and basically said "eff it!".. I won't say that Deborah necessarily had an attitude about her she just seemed kind of "off", timid and had zero patience. Even by the time she was handling my transaction, she said something, I didn't understand what she said so I politely responded "I'm sorry?". She then looked at me impatiently, and repeated herself as if it was a hard task for her to do. Overall I still like this Walmart the best though and I definitely appreciated all the lines being open b/c of the holidays, just wish I hadn't picked her lane. read more

Now that I go to the nearby LA Fitness on occasion, I do some shopping at this Walmart. So much more convenient that driving up to Howell Mill. Since I usually there around 8 or 9pm, it is not too busy. There is parking on the main deck, but it appears most of the parking is underground. I have parked right by the entrance on the main level both times. The produce here is better than at Howell Mill. However, I find that the selection of items is not as wide. Nice and clean. Same good deals as at any Walmart. I used self checkout both times, so I haven't really dealt with any of the staff to comment on customer service. read more

Tried to order photos to be printed. No one was available to assist me. The man working the electronic and photo departments was horribly rude and lazy. I ended up just leaving my photos there un-paid for. I definitely won't be back here again. Very disappointing. read more

This store is empty. I was trying to find a particular item, and 10 feet away were at least 4 store associates just standing there jacking around. The store is dirty. And, the prices are maybe 1% lower than Kroger. Not worth the filth and lack of service read more

There is something seriously wrong with either the slope of their outdoor parking lot or the drainage is insufficiently sized. When it rains you can't park in the lake that forms on the most exterior edge of the lot, which includes the handicapped section. I felt terrible for the people who had to walk through it to get to the public bus stop. read more

Store opened in November 2015 and it is filthy. The exit escalator has not be operational in weeks. Previously we came to return item and was told we couldn't because customer service had already closed. After much protest they finally found a manager to return our item. Today tried to purchase a work item and was told accounting had left and our tax exempt number could not be looked up. Also told we needed to complete an application for a store specific tax exempt number but couldn't have one since accounting leaves at 2:00 and was not there. Has been very frustrating dealing with Customer Service. read more

I went inside today to get a bathing suit, because the other day I saw a really cute one and I tried it on but it didn't fit very well and I didn't have time to try on another size so I put back. Today I went in to try on the same bathing suit in a different size and the lady at the fitting rooms said I couldn't try on bathing suits. Has anyone heard that?? Target and other department stores just say that you have to leave on your underwear and that's what the paper in the lining is for. Victoria Secret even has fitting rooms. I most likely won't come back, I always thought customer service was poor here. read more

Luckily I don't have to drive past this intersection, I heard it's even busier now. This Walmart is pretty similar to all the other ones, just closer to residents near Emory. The food section is pretty well developed. Contrary to the other reviews about slow checkout, I have yet to have this problem. The deciding factor for me is the bathrooms. You can always tell how well a place is managed by the cleanliness of the facilities. I'm sure most Walmarts get a lot of volume (literally). This one is currently acceptable. read more

This store is the worst at restocking! For my past few visits, they did not have a few of my favorite items (that I know they still carry) on the shelves. Please get better management or employees. For now, I will just go to Target because I am tired of being inconvenienced by driving to this store for nothing. read more

the absolute worst Walmart. the escalators never work, stock is in the aisles, never unloaded. its a mess. I have sought out the manager on a couple of occasions. one time, the floor employee did not know who the manager was or how they could be found. another time, a "manager" came...I was skeptical and asked them if they were the general manager. they said no. I said I wanted to speak to that person. they left, and I never saw them again. I will not shop here unless it is an "emergency". please close this store. read more

If I could give this store a -5 stars I would! By far the worst customer service I have ever encountered in any retail store! The entire store needs to be retrained on how to deliver excellent customer service! I hate to pull the race card but it appears to be black ran and sadly they fall in the box of rude and full of attitude! Thank you Asia for being so patient with me on Friday, September 16 while I tried on 6 rounds of 6 pieces of clothing at a time. All clothes had been removed from hangers and the ones I gave back to her to rehang...well I felt bad for doing that and offered to help her. She insisted that it was her job to do it herself,as she said with a big smile! Meanwhile, while juggling what I was doing, I could hear and see how she managed others while making sure I was attended to. She managed it all, with poise, patience, and excellent customer service. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this Walmart a 3. I've gone a number of times here and I always get the result. They are always out of inventory, the staff is extremely rude, the produce is old and moldy, and there ALWAYS a huge line to checkout (because only one or two checkout lanes are open and everyone tries to go through the self checkout). My biggest problem is that every time I've gone, the down escalator is always broken. So if you parked in the underground parking deck, you have to wait in line to go on an elevator. read more

I went to this Walmart and had been shopping for a long time inside . Although when it was time to check out I went to a register because I was told self checkout was only card and I had cash i wanted to use as well. I was NEXT in line at a register when the cashier decided to tell me it was only card. Then I was told to go register 12. And THEY DID THE SAME THING. so then I stepped out of line to make a few phone calls in order to get the money into my card so I wouldn't have to go through any more trouble and as I finish my phone call I turn around to see a worker rudely looking at me and saying "we are about to close" 3 hours early might I add. Then get to a register then the cashier said no Apple Pay and that was my only source of paying. So we had to leave everything. Yes It was my fault for no other form of payment but the way things were handled and the attitude of the people who were working made me sick and I will NEVER be returning which is unfortunate because I would come often but I refuse to enter an establishment that created such a negative environment for a customer. read more

9.20.18 - Friday I called This Walmart to ask electronics a question. The Operator-Nicole answered the phone and transferred me but no 1 picked up. The phone rolled back to her and she put me back to electronic again, without saying anything. After the phone rolled back to Nicole, she said no one is back there. I told her perhaps a Manager could answer a simple question for me. She tried to contact a Manager but to no avail. I asked here why aren't they picking up. She says. "Their busy". I said, " U should never say that to a customer, I'm just as important as well." She tried to ring a Manager again and came back to the phone. I start saying "hello, hello. I didn't want her to transfer me again. So I said, "Who am I speaking to?" She said, "The same person you spoke to earlier." I said, "What's your name" and then she said, "Nicole, I just answer the phones." She realized at that point I was going to report her. I told her, "Never mind I will go online and try to find out why I needed. I said, "Have a nice day." She said, " uh-huh." Believe you me, it was hard to keep my kool but I know the Devil is busy. Never once did she ask me to help me or maybe she knew what I may want. Where did WALMART get this "IMBECILE" to answer their phone? Now I have to rate this business to submit my review. I decided to visit the brand new Walmart in the N. Decatur area today. I know the community fought long and hard to keep this Walmart out of the neighborhood, but unfortunately Walmart won. However, with all that said, this is a nice Walmart. It has a patch of parking by the front door, with the majority of the parking to be contained in the parking deck. It kinda puts me in the mindset of IKEA. All of the lanes were open today. I was greeted with team members fresh smiling faces offering assistance throughout the store. The setup inside is standard for the newer and updated Walmarts in the area (food to the left, home/pharmacy to the right, electronics in the back, and center full of clothes). I thought it was a bit silly for Walmart to have 4 stores within such a close proximity, but they obviously didn't ask for my opinion and probably don't care. Anyway, this Walmarts newness does not disappoint. Happy shopping to all and to all a goodnight. read more

Dangerous!! Just got asked for money by a Wal-Mart employee. I almost ran not walked away. Went in this store just to see how bad it really is. Walmart stinks and it is very gross. I do like the Walmart super center. they do have a subway inside the store, which makes it particularly attractive. The outdoor parking lot is small. However, the customer service is good here. Walmart does have a wide selection of products including food items. read more

This place does not deserve 1 star, more like no star! My friend & I went shopping there today and he forgot his phone. So, I called his phone & one of the employee pick up. As my friend went back and pick up his phone, he ran into a miserable employee who is a girl, intentionally gave him a hard time. She was following protocol and I understand that. After that she decided to abuse her position. He did everything she asked, even giving out passcode for his phone. Who in the right mind would do that?!! I know for a "FACT" she would not have given out her passcode! When the passcode did not work, he gave the number to the phone so she can call. Instead of using the "store phone" to call his number, the other employee took out her cellphone & dial the number! When the phone rang, that miserable girl still didn't believe that was his phone! If that was not his phone, how did he know the number??!! She must be having a miserable life that she intentionally gave him a hard time to return his phone! I spoke to a manager but I believe she was lying to me. The "so call" manager did not apologize for the employee wrong doing but instead kept making excuses for her! What types of employees does Wal-Mart hire???!! The customer service is "AWFUL" as well as the "so call" manger!! WHERE IS THE PROFESSIONALISM.......... I know for a "FACT" if the situation was reversed & that miserable girl had lost her phone and given a hard time like what she did to my friend, I GUARANTEE she would raise "HELL"!!!! This Walmart was so awful. I placed an order for pickup and none of them were ready when I got there. They told me 4pm and I was there after 4. When I did arrive I waited for at least 10 minutes at the counter before anyone even spoke to me. When she did come to speak to me she was extremely rude and told me to come back. I called before I went back to see if it was ready and the lady on the phone was extremely rude as well. I will not go back to this Walmart. read more

Worst walmart ever!! Worst experience. Tge staff is unconditionally rude to the customers was my third time purchasing grocery at the same place. I bought cookies tgose were supposed to be on a deal of 3 fir $3 but when i came to the counter i was charged $1.50 for each after asking the cashier about it the cashier left me waiting for about 10 minutes. After waiting for a while i was already pissed off as i wanted to pick my child from school and was really running late but the cashier didnt seem to bother at all about my situation and kept waiting on the manager who was busy gossiping with another employee. Well finally i got managers attention. The manager was really rude to me n kept saying the price they had on that cookie was wrong and they would change it. I mean thats awefull like how could they put a diffrent price tag and charge a diffrent price at the cashier. I was nice to her and just asked her v nicely if she could change it asap as just like me other customers shopping there moght get mistaken but the respond i got from her was really rude and i didnt doubt her position but her character. OMG what a disgusting lady she is. And i dont know who hored her for the position. She is not even capable to becone an cashier. Such a rude behavior. I have never been to that walmart again. I shop from kroger, walgreens, CVS i drive a bit more to shop from other placese, but m never going to that walmart again. Worst experienc i have ever had in a grocery store.
