I pride myself in customer service and proper etiquette when dealing with the general public. I have now been in this store 3 times today being 12/8/22 approx. 2 pm. I have been greeted poorly every.single.time. The first 2 times I don't think the woman working even acknowledged I had walked in and today the sales associate gave a underwhelming hello and didn't ask if "I was looking for anything in particular?" "Can I help you find a Christmas gift?" "Let me know if you have any questions at all, I am here for anything you may need" and there was nothing as I left the store either "Thanks so much for coming in" "Have a great day!" Are just a few things you can say when you work in retail. If this wasn't the 3rd visit with the same treatment I wouldn't be leaving a review this thorough but I really felt the owner needs to know. They do have really cute items for purchase in there but the staff is rude and seems to maybe only cater to customers who have a certain look to them? Just a guess. Do better in the customer service department and you'd make more sales! I would have been willing to buy a necklace I saw in there today and really cute MYSTIQUE sandals if I was at least treated like an actual customer but I can't support this business.

This entire "mall" was very organized and clean which made it a good shopping experience. As far as service, when we visited on a Saturday afternoon, we didn't interact with any staff/vendor so I can't say anything about that. Initially planning to check out one store ended up being 2 separate stores with the same name. The smaller store had so many nice items. There were figurines, artwork, dishes, A LOT of various glassware and more. And the prices were also good. The larger store was huge. This is where they have bigger household items. SO many different couches, chairs, dining tables, decorative rugs, etc. What I loved about these stores is that they were organized, clean, and have quality products for a good price. I understand that the parking is for in-store customers only. But the moment I stepped out of my car, a woman came running out of the store and started yelling at me, saying the parking was for those businesses only. I hadn't even walked away from my vehicle yet, and she had no idea where I was going. For context, I'm a Type 1 diabetic, and my blood sugar suddenly dropped very low. In that moment, I urgently needed food or I risked being unsafe to drive. My boyfriend was with me, but he isn't insured on my car and doesn't know how to drive a manual--and she still insisted that I make him take my car. On top of that, it's not safe for me to be walking around alone when my blood sugar is that low. I calmly explained the situation and told her I just needed a quick snack and would be back in under five minutes. Despite that, she showed zero empathy and continued yelling. At that point, my priority was my health and safety. I also didn't feel comfortable leaving my car unattended given her aggressive behavior. I waited a few days to write this, but as a Type 1 diabetic, this situation was genuinely scary and upsetting. This happened Saturday in the late afternoon. Situations like this deserve more understanding and basic human compassion. Please do better.

This is not one of those gift shops. I had to stop myself before I bought the whole store. The curation of handmade pottery, clothing, decor and other gifts was so beautiful and unique -- I haven't seen any other stores with the items they carry. I ended up buying gifts for people 2-3 months in advance of their birthdays because I couldn't resist!! This is going to be my first stop for gifts (including for myself, oops) in SD from now on.
