My husband and I come to this walmart just about every day of the week to shop for our groceries for each meal. Normally we have an excellent shopping experience. The cashier maria is great, and so is a gentleman by the name of dinesh. But the management is horrible if you have to deal with one of the floor manager named maryam. She is super rude to all customers, also other employees. I mean this is just about every time. How in the hell dies she still keep her job?!?!!?! She pushed my husband out of the way to get by him didn't even say excuse me or any of that, then did it a 2nd time. We spend a lot of money here and should not be treated by such disrespect. If I were the general manager of this walmart location she would have been fired long ago. Kudos to the rest of management and cashiers that are superb to their customers. read more

I've been to a lot of Walmart's around this area and this isn't the worst and it isn't the best. It's usually pretty clean and most of the staff is nice. I cannot say the same thing about some of the customers but that's not the stores fault. I like coming in late night so it's not as crowded. read more

I can only wonder what is going on with this Walmart Supercenter. I have tried on two phones for well over half an hour to reach the store on their main line on behalf of a sick employee. The phone -- 703-995-5061 -- rang and rang and rang. Twice a young woman answered and I asked for the manager of a certain department, was put on hold, and then the person answering hung up. Since most of us have caller ID, was the phone willfully not answered, and then the "EMPLOYEE WILL BE BLAMED FOR NOT CALLING IN AND REPORTING HIS/HER ABSENCE"? Customer or Employee service via phone at this Walmart is at an absolute bottom. And I am thoroughly disgusted. read more

The service at the photo center is the worst. The person who claimed himself as the manager was impolite and unreasonable. After he turned down all my requests for honoring the online coupon code and insisted no discount whatsoever for the 50 prints that I was getting (to charge me $75 for the 5*7 prints), I gave in and said fine. Then I found there's one photo that didn't come out right (only half printed out and Rest black), I said at least I don't have to pay for this one. Nope! He insisted rudely that I had to absolutely pay for that as there's no proof that it was their mistake! I literally can't believe this is the kind of service a giant supermarket is extending to its customers. I asked to speak to his supervisor and got refused relentlessly, so I feel obliged to leave them my genuine opinion here, pls don't print to this Walmart as your right is not protected or respected whatsoever. read more

As far as Walmart's go, this is the worst one I have ever been to. It's disorganized and you can never find anything. They have very low stock on everything so don't expect much when going. The staff is always nowhere to be found when you need assistance and when they are found they are very rude. Save yourself and go to the one in tysons. read more

I have NEVER experienced such HORRIBLE customer service. When you are in the store everyone is pretty nice. On the phone though, they are HORRIBLE. I want to speak to a manager very badly, but fear they won't care either or won't understand why I am upset. This is ridiculous and has happened four times now where they pick up as if they hate their jobs and do NOT care about the customers. I work in 3 customer service jobs and even on my worst days I do not take it out on the customer. Maybe people have not been trained properly, I am trying very hard not to be angry and judge...but four times now where I have been treated badly by customer service...sucks. This walmart is usually pretty much your standard walmart. Nothing special but gets the job done. But after today i dont know if I even want to go back. My friend and I were shopping around and he was using the handicap cart because he hurt his ankle and we had an "employee" completely stop the cart. He yelled at us and told my friend to get off immediately because he was misusing it. He said that we had no right to use it and we also explained to him that my friend had a bad ankle but the guy didn't care. He wasn't even wearing a badge or a uniform. He just had a red sweater on and some jeans. I dont know what kind of employees this walmart hires but this guy was beyond rude and arrogant. read more

Twice they charged 50 cents more for beer than was listed on the shelf sticker. I took one of the receipts back in so they could reimburse me , but instead they recharged me for beer again. I had to call the credit card company to dispute this. What a pain. I won't go back--seems like some of the employees don't know what they are doing. read more

Don't shop here... I'm a bus driver and drove a group of 100 people 40 miles to shop here. After I unloaded the group I went inside went to customer service and ask for the manager the lady questioned me and said what is it for? I replied I'm the bus driver for the big group that came in. She said the manager is busy I told her I'll come back after I grab my items. I do just that 10 min later I return to self checkout with two gallons of water and I I ask the self check out clerk can I see the manager he kindly walked me over where she was and I guess he told her I was waiting to see her. And he said just wait right here she's in a meeting and she will see you. So I wait 5-10 min still nothing so I politely walk back there and say hello excuse me but I am the bus driver for the large group that came in and I just wanted to know if you guys will do a complimentary comp for the bus drivers or a gift card or something? She replies in a bossy rude tone saying no I said o wow really not even for the 100 guest I just bought to your business? So the answer is no. So I just went and paid for my water that I had besides it only came to a $1.64 my point is I'm not writing about that Walmart could give me a credit I'm writing about the rude customer service except for the gentleman that walked me over to where she was. And when I approach her by the way she was just sitting at the desk looking bored and lazy like she didn't want to be seen. So this is a rude Walmart don't shop here if I could have I would have told my group to return everything they bought and that would have been hilarious they would have been working and extra 4 hrs past their shifts. read more

The only time I ever enter the bastion of trashiness and failed dreams that is Walmart is when I buy ammo. This being Walmart, I never enter with high expectations in the first place, but this particular experience warranted a review. I proceeded to the Sporting Goods section where of course there wasn't an employee to be found. After about five minutes of waiting, the first employee I asked for help to either open the ammo case or find someone who could open it stared at me for a second, unintelligibly mumbled something about him not working in that area, and then walked away. Take two as employee number two slowly walks towards me. As soon as he sees me and assumes I'm going to ask him a question, he immediately makes a 90 degree pivot and walks away. Yusss, this experience just gets better and better. Employee number three was slightly more willing to help me out, and walked around trying to find someone to unlock the ammo case. I followed him down the aisle and heard him speak to an older, angrier employee about helping me. The conversation between them is as follows; Employee #1 - There's a guy here who wants to buy some ammo. Employee #2 - Oh yeah well too bad. Tell him that he ain't getting any ammo today, someone lost the key. Employee #1 - Stares intently at Employee #2 for about five seconds then turns around to tell me I won't be buying ammo. I then asked if there was another key or even a manager who would be able to unlock the case so I could buy the simple box of ammo that I came for. Once again the helpful employee stared at me and just said, "Ummm, I don't think so". Granted I never frequent this place, nor do I have any inclination to be there more than the five minutes it takes to make my purchase. However, the general employee apathy and lack of customer service this trip was enough to get me to sit down and write this review. read more

I went to Walmart late last night (12:00am) to pick up a few items and Walmart was the only place open at the time. I got all of my items and was headed to the checkout line and this guy walks pass me with his pants unzipped and his manhood out (I saw it). I was so shocked, mortified and scared to say the least. I immediately walked up to the first person I saw (male, Hispanic) that worked there and told him "there is a guy walking around exposing himself" he said huh and I said " his pants is unzipped and he is showing himself". The guy asked me did I want to check out. I am assuming he doesn't understand English which is the perfect place for him to be. I saw the guy lurking around starring at me and I just walked away and tried to move as fast as I could. I went to the first cashier I saw and he pointed to the number above that wasn't lit up which he was letting me know he was closed (non verbal communication). I went to the next individual and got out of there as fast as I possibly could. I can't believe what happened and I am not sure I would want to go back there again. Not only was I traumatized but the employees at Walmart are the worst. They all need to be fired and replaced. read more

This Walmart has everything you need product wise, but the service is extremely horrendous. There are never any workers to be found if you need help and I'm not even exaggerating when I say that every single time I have come here the cashiers haven't been able to complete a transaction on their own. BEWARE! Your car might get hit with a giant train of shopping carts by the employees while you shop! Today I witnessed how this Walmart handle their shopping carts in the parking lot and I decided I will never go back. A Walmart staff was putting carts back to the cart area, he accidently pushed a train of shopping carts out and they started to move on their own slowly accross the lot. Not only they got in my way entering and I almost hit them, but also they ended up hitting 2 cars at 1 bang: 1 orange cab and 1 white Toyota Corolla. I parked in the middle of the road and try to stop the carts but was too late. Then I saw the staff was RIGHT THERE watching this whole thing happen! I tried to talk to him but apparently he dose not speak English. Guess what he did next? That's right move them right away and pretend this never happened! The white Corolla apparently got scratched! i had never heard of walmart until 2002....now i a m a big big big fan of the prices...the only thing is that on a few items i can find it a little less expensive at big lots or at super dollar...the cashiers are very polite for the most part...and it was crazy busy on no tax for back to school supplies. i use to have to drive a long long way to find these stores read more
