If you're applying to this Walmart beware that they will not hire you if you have misdemeanors. They will shine you on for a couple of weeks and tell you that it's for some other reason. Even though you already know because the background check informs you before they do. They only pay 17 dollars an hour and act like you are being hired for a top secret government job. I had a horrible experience today at Walmart. I had purchased 4 packs of bacon the morning of Thanksgiving for a Friendsgiving brunch. As I started to cook, I noticed one pack of bacon had expired on August 18. WTH?! Today I took my receipt back in and attempted to explain to the manager, Diane, the problem. Although she did return my money, she told me she didn't believe me because they were audited weekly and that could never happen. She wouldn't even let me get a word in edgewise. She was so rude! I had my receipt which clearly matched the barcode on the bacon I purchased. I asked for the name and number of her supervisor and she refused to give it to me. She just said, "Walmart." So Walmart is Walmart. It's cheap prices so don't expect the ritz. My first time using their grocery pickup! With all this going on, I had to check everyday for a few days but I was finally able to get a pickup time on a Saturday from 5-6. Great communication by the site and letting me know if there are any substitutions they had to make. They send you an email when it's ready and you checkin. Too so have to download the app though to get the checkin to wait but it was great. I arrived and pulled into a spot and let them know via the app. The Walmart staff then comes out & make sure you are ok with the substitutions. They loaded it into my trunk and off I went. So I wasn't sure what my produce would look like since I like to pick my own, I was pleasantly pleased. Everything was fresh and crisp. My cauliflower for $1.98 was huge! Very happy! Would definitely recommend! No contact whatsoever. Just take it home and clean! Thank you! One thing, you do have to have a minimum of $30 which can be hard for single people but during this time, just get something extra. read more

This is by far the worst Walmart I've Ben too, the staff doesn't know the meaning of Customer Service, it's so unorganized, lack of stock, expired food items, and I had to go through self checkout as the lines were long and not once but EVERYTIME I end up going there they make u feel very uncomfortable as the chubby Spanish employee that was In self checkout stares at you like your stealing and it wasn't just my fiancé and I he did it to pretty much everyone that I saw go through the self checkout lanes. This Walmart location is convenient but unfortunately tonight it was a shit show. I came in around 10:45 pm for a few items. When I went to the self checkout with my wife, one of the items had two different prices on it and I accidentally scanned it twice. When my wife flagged out one of the employees I believe Tina was her name, my wife kindly explained that the item got scanned twice. Instead of Tina helping us out, she began to give my wife an attitude and instead of doing her job and figure out why there's two different prices on one item, Tina kept arguing and arguing with my wife. Eventually someone else came over and was able to figure it out. Tina was just being lazy and didn't want to do her job, in that case she should just stay home instead of acting stupid in public. I shopped there for 7 years and finally quit last year, in December at the height of the pandemic they weren't enforcing masks, I was stuck in lines all the way to the clothing section like it was Black Friday, this was just every Wednesday, around people with no masks or masks under their chin coughing and looking like the walking dead, I will never forget as it was the last straw. I have a weaker immune system as well as having had a newly discovered health issue to where it would be bad if I got Covid so I had to be careful. Cashiers made fun of PPE and said you just need to pray and that they hadn't gotten it yet. I'd ask for my cold stuff to be separate because they were going to different places and Id get attitude and know what that meant-they REALLY start throwing my groceries around, like they are mad at them, and say things like "I know how to bag groceries, I always do that-except stuff like this-" and proceed to still put cold stuff with dry stuff, (usually I'd still find one cold item in each bag of dry stuff) also they don't stand groceries up in the bags, they literally toss them in and place them sideways and fill the bags like they're grabbing items and throwing them in a bag to escape a fire. It would take me 10 minutes in the parking lot to straighten it out and put it in my trunk. I'm here now because I ordered groceries to be delivered for the first time yesterday and this was the only store that could do it-I dreaded it because they often have expired food on their shelves and I always have to check expiration dates, their produce is-brown, they bag groceries so terribly, I just think the store is a dirty mess in that regard. So I get a text that my groceries have arrived and the driver will leave them on the porch, I don't even have to sign anything. I was busy doing something else, 5 minutes later my doorbell rings, groceries on porch and a man is walking up with napkins and says "is this yours" I say yes, he said ok and that he was gonna take a picture-he's the driver, without a mask, up in my door step ringing my bell for me to come out when the whole protocol of leaving it on the porch and not signing was for Covid safely lol. So there are 7 bags, I usually have 14-15 and I had my regular size grocery order, they stuffed these bags so heavy my back is so sore today from carrying them in. One bag had a bunch of cold items, a full size frozen pizza shoved in diagonally with a 2 liter of Coke squeezed in sideways and diagonally on top of a carton of milk under all this laying sideways, flat, leaking all over everything. This is not new. They were doing this in store a year ago when I quit shopping there. They'd ask if I wanted bags, I'd say "Yes please, as many as it takes. And could you please not pack them too heavy, I have a back injury from a car accident and have to carry them a ways in" and I'd offer to bag or help bag-but the attitude. I used to work at a grocery store when I was younger and customers trained me on how to properly bag groceries-because they were very particular. Is there not a video they can watch for training? They act like they're rationing bags, they won't give me a bag unless it's filled sideways, miss-sharpen and stretched to the max like it's a Hefty Force Flex trash bag commercial. What in the actual heck? Hello? Store manager? So let's re-cap: Expired food on shelves. Employees who mock customers for wearing PPE? DO NOT know how to bag groceries. Damaged items constantly from that, so I pay for items I can't use when I get home. I'm sweet as pie to these people, even when they're rude, because I've worked retail and at a grocery store and know how it is. There is no excuse for this and for it to be ongoing for over a year is a MANAGEMENT ISSUE. People in this area have high standards, I do not believe nobody has complained before, so the fact that this keeps up tells me the Managers do not care. Do not go to this Walmart even off principle alone! I have not ever left a negative review for a business before. I arrived to this foothill ranch Walmart at 10:52pm (6 minutes prior to closing) I have a really bad sinus infection. I was told by Dr. To get a sinus irrigation device to relieve congestion. I parked prior to 10:50pm and got to the entry door at 10:52pm, the automated doors opened (probably because they are set to open until 11:00pm). There were two other patrons a young man and a woman. Both inside the first entrance door but being refused entry into the second entrance door, by a middle aged blond employee with a covid 19 mask on. It was still 8 minutes prior to closing and I tried to explain I just needed a decongestant from in front of pharmacy that I had a bad sinus infection. She literally said "I don't care". I didn't get a chance to say anything else because the two other patrons who'd been refused entry since even earlier continued to ask for a manager and a reason why they were not allowed in prior to closing time. The employee just kept refusing to get a manager and kept stating "I don't care" "we are closed " (even though.. they were not). Finally the young man who'd arrived even before myself and was wanting to buy a charging cable from in front of the counter just said "you know what I'm going it's not 11:00" and quickly walked past the employee into the Walmart. Then she decided it was time to finally go get the manager.. myself and the other patron remained by the entrance/ exit while the 4 or so people who had checked out and where waiting to have their receipts viewed all just stood there waiting. I waited probably 3 minutes and then just decided to leave. The other patrons and I all agreed to leave a review about this experience. However when I just created a yahoo account and went to leave a review I noticed they already have a 2.75 out of 5 star review on yahoo.. they obviously I'm not the first person to have a bad experience here. So management probably won't even be made aware of this review. I really can't believe this happened at a Walmart... for what reason did this employee choose to do this aside from a pointless power trip. I really needed that decongestant and all three of us arrived well before closing.. and they refused to get a manager when we were not allowed in. If management does see this call me at 760-521-2460 And if they don't see this I'll call tomorrow or keep leaving bad reviews on yahoo and Google Reason why I say that is I called the customer experience line off google & spent 8 minutes going through prompts and holding just to be told that department closed 4 hours earlier and for call to drop. .. seriously no one is expecting that much from Walmart. After having visited Wal-Mart stores throughout the United States, I believe I can say that this store could be the company's best in the nation. It does not suffer any of the ills that I've seen at other stores, nor any of the shortcomings that Wal-Marts are notorious for. It even stands tall in comparison to the next 3 closest supercenter locations (Irvine Spectrum, Von Karman, and Laguna Niguel, which does not have refrigerators or produce). The on-duty manager is actually responsive and offers to assist shoppers in locating/unlocking items. High-demand items are usually in stock, and if they're not, they are back on shelves within a day or two. This store does not have the typical, eccentric, DMV fodder Wal-Mart clientele. The people who shop here are norma suburbanites. The fact that the store is located in one of the safest, and most-well insulated suburbs in the country probably has something to do with all of these things. read more

This review is on the tire and lube department. Let me start this review by saying how great John is.. I got here at 730am on a sunday and there were already 4 cars ahead of me and a 2 hour wait. John was extremely professional, calm, well mannered, helpful, knowledgeable. He was up front and honest about the wait time and took care of all the customers in line for service at an efficient pace. By 830am, there were 12 cars in queue for service and basically booked the service department for 4+ hours. They continued to inform the incoming customers of the potential wait time and kept their professionalism despite how crazy busy it was. Definitely want to bring your car in early unless want to wait by the free keurig for couple hours. Live update: 930am, there is a guy that came just now. He was warned of the long wait and started bitching about the same ridiculous wait last time he was in and demanded Wal-Mart to hire more technicians... if you knew there is long wait from the last time you were here, shouldn't you learn to come earlier this time? He literally snoozed and he lost. John, again, handled the situation well with polite and calm manner. Good job, John. Live update: 935am, my car is done. This 5 star review is for Kris at Guest Services/Returns. I made an online purchase on Walmart.com that was in their Marketplace. It was a child's bed with storage drawers. The vendor had goofed so bad first by listing the item wrong online (I guess the price of what I paid for was for the storage drawers alone, but the option I hit was both bed AND drawers), replying with vague and unhelpful messages that weren't solving any problems (saying that I got what I paid for), finally replying that if I return the purchase I made (purchased less than a week ago) would only qualify 20% of my money back, and the return label Walmart provided me would not be delivered to a warehouse that may no longer be in operation. (Crazy, right? Also, please let Walmart know that they should be handling all these discrepancies between vendor and customer because they have a better leverage as a large selling platform for these sellers) Anyway, I had already had it with Walmart.com customer service. I had chatted with three different people, each only telling me that I need to handle it with the vendor. (Not helpful) I told Kris my mess of a story who was confused why I was returning a drawer when in the system, on her screen, IT WAS READING AS A BED. (Vendor really did screw it up). Kris was extremely patient, kind, empathetic, and called Walmart.com customer service for me on the spot. My wife and I went to Foothill Ranch Walmart store #02218 to purchase a gift for our son a vacuum cleaner. To our surprise when we got home my wife checked the box and they sold us a USED vacuum cleaner with dirt in it! We went back to the store got a refund for the dirty vacuum cleaner and met "Michelle" who was the worst customer service person we ever met, for our disgust she offered us ten dollars for our embarrassment and concern. We immediately walked out! We have been waiting for a call since 8/26/2024 and today a "John" called not sympathetic at all told me to sue if i chose to and that we would not be compensated anything but the refund for what we paid for the vacuum. Walmart used to be our favorite store we spend at least 5,000 dollars a year for the past 20 years but we will never return again after talking to John i can see why their customer service is the way it s he does sn't care at all michelle was probably trained by him. I shop at this Walmart almost everyday. Seems to be no one sticking the milk. Every time I come, the case is almost empty and even the employees complain about it to me today. Who is in charge of the dairy at this store? Should be fired. Now I'm waiting for "Brenda" the store's "home" manager, and it's been over 10 minutes. Not sure where she is coming from but she asked the store's front end yellow vest wearer if it was a vendor or a customer. Maybe if I was a vendor she would've come sooner to speak with me. Brenda finally came (wearing purple lipstick, okaaay) and it was from behind the customer service desk so she could've come sooner, and said that it was stocked the evening prior. I told her no way did they sell that much milk in 6 hours. I told her I'd now have to go to another store, thanks for that. She replied, "Have a nice day." I don't want niceties, just milk please. I order my groceries online and come and pick them up. My past couple orders I've noticed my chicken has an expiration date of the next day or two days after I pick up my order. I've called customer service and they e refunded me the money if the items but this is extremely inconvenient and disgusting. I would hope that whomever is getting my order together that they are not picking out chicken that has close expirations just to get rid of them but if not then attention to detail is lacking. Store was well organized and had everything I wanted in stock. This review is for the cashier (her name I believe is Nancy) who checked my groceries out today. Cashier was EXTREMELY RUDE AND NASTY. She was slamming items down in the bagging area (a lot of my items were glass) and snapping at me. At one point she left a coffee container I had purchased on the conveyer belt and mumbled something at me and I asked her what happened and she snapped at me and said "it's done get it" and she pushed the bin forward with such a nasty attitude. Spent 20 mins walking around this massive place trying to find online order pickup and was sent in every direction of the store except the correct one. I'll let the first 3 people who sent me to the wrong place off with a pass for at least saying "I think it's that way" but the last 4th lady who inspired this review kept walking away from me as I tried talking to her. I finally said "can you please take me there?" and she literally turned her back to me, waved her hand and said "SOMEONE ELSE CAN HELP YOU." I cannot stand that this person is working regular business hours or in a front of the house position. I can handle myself but if this had been my parents or grandparents, I would have actually gone off on her for this. I don't like to complain because I understand that everyone's trying to do their very best during this crazy pandemic, however, walmart has seemed to bit off more than they can chew. Recently I've visited quiet a few Walmart's and quiet a few have the same HUGE issues. TOO MANY INSTORE SHOPPERS, and NOT ENOUGH STOCK for shopping. The lack of stock is annoying but not as much as the Instore shoppers. The Instore shoppers with their HUGE racks combined with the very few stocker create a HUGE amount of space in the store and make it difficult for us customers to be able to shop sanely. I feel the huge carts are overly dramatic for the task the shoppers are taking on and they block shelves, creat traffic and they are everywhere. The number of shoppers out weigh the number of employees at check outs and stocking by far it seems. If Walmart is working with Instacart and Postmates and doing their own shopping and having customers come to the store to pick up their items along with having people who shop in the store buying from them, Walmart has been making enough money to be able to go and hired a place to be able to keep their store stocked and actually run the store properly. But so much focus has been put on this in-store shopping that they've kind of at Through operations fall short. The huge carts make even the large store so very congested. Now I feel that shopping at Walmart isn't as cost effective because often I have to go to multiple stores to find stock, and shopping at the stores with the instore shoppers takes much longer now and I feel the customers who do visit the store And who are more likely to make impulse buys are not being value very much by the company. Instacart shoppers use a normal shopping cart, and not a queen marry rack to do their shopping. Couldn't Walmart come up with a better idea that huge racks to shop for the customers who don't want to visit the store so those of us who do want to visit can have a peaceful shop please. read more

If I could put zero stars I would. Hugo told me my battery would need 45 minutes to charge before they could tell me if it was dead. I waited and he said it would be another 60-90 minutes so then he said he'd call me. I've now called every extension 4 times and cannot talk to a person. If you want to be treated like a criminal, then this is your place! I walked in to return one item and had the receipt in my hand, and in clear view...when I asked the 'greeter' at the entrance to point me to customer service returns, he asked to see my receipt to check that the item I was returning was actually on there....this was strange and RIDICULOUS! It is clear by this greeter's action that this store has a very high crime rate! This is also a clear indication that this Walmart store is not a safe place to be in. I regret ever shopping at Walmart! The only reason I originally went to Walmart was because Target was out of the item I needed, and Walmart was in the same shopping center. I wanted to give Walmart a chance and went in to buy one item but ultimately spent over $200. I should have never given Walmart my business and have learned my lesson. I am the kind of consumer that retailers such as Walmart and Target should appreciate...the kind that physically goes into one of their brick and mortar stores to buy one item but ends up spending 20 times more. Oh and am I not also helping to secure the employment of many of their stores?
