Inaccurate stocking information from walmart.com. Said they had 4 in stock, but none on the shelf. Lots of broken items and the garden center is piled with boxes such that you can't even walk through it or see what items are on the shelves. Big pile of dead or dying plants too -- not marked for clearance like other stores... just left there to die. Sad place to visit. Also, for some reason customer service closes at 9 pm so we couldn't return an item and had to walk back to the car. read more

Every time I go into this place, I regret it. Tonight was no different. I won't make the mistake of reconsidering my decision to avoid this place like the plague again! The employees are slow, rude, and things are usually dirty and disorganized in the store. This location claims to be a "Supercenter" but only has 2-3 checkstands open at a time, forcing people to use the self-checkout unless they want to wait 10 minutes. As we were checking out and scanned a clearance item, the employee "monitor" named Melissa literally ripped the item out of my wife's hands and accused her of taping another barcode over the existing barcode on the product! As if we had the time to 1. get tape 2. find a barcode and 3. tape it carefully over the other barcode? She called a useless, incompetent manager named Debbie over, then they entered the other "real" barcode into the computer. Guess what? It was for the same item at the same price! We didn't receive an apology for the incredibly rude and disrespectful behavior we experienced from these terrible employees. In retrospect, it was quite hilarious to be treated like a criminal inside WalMart, which is the worst store ever and sells only junk. read more

Walmart is one of those stores I, honestly, just do not like. I'm all about great prices, but most of the Walmarts I have visited make me want to spend more and go elsewhere. I do not like my products opened by previous "guests"... I do not like families of 14 blocking the aisles when I am trying to shop... I would like to know there is an associate available, should I need help. So the few times I know I have to visit a Walmart - they carry a few items (old school brown Lysol disinfectant and ooey gooey butter cake) that I know only this chain to carry - I strive to go right when they open to avoid as much of the aforementioned, as possible. This location is, probably, the best location in California I have visited! There were plenty of store associates available for me to ask questions... the store is very clean - everything well stocked and facing the same direction... and I found my OOEY GOOEY BUTTER CAKE!!! I almost went into convulsions when I saw it! I asked the bakery associate if they always carry these - he said yes but they are popular so I may not always find them since they are delivered in limited quantities. He then said I would have to ask the manager (who was off at that time) if I could order a whole box of these. If I HAD to go to a Walmart, this would be one I would choose to visit. read more

FINALLY, someone freakin helped us! We were wanting new phones and scoped various places, thought about switching plans, etc. My husband noticed that Walmart seemed to have what we wanted as one of the cheapest. We figured it would be easier to stick with our provider, especially if the cost isn't that much different, and we later did find out that all the service providers will eventually be taking unlimited data away, in a few years as soon as you change phones. So, unless you plan on keeping the same phone forever, most of us will be in the same boat. Another positive thing we found out is that by upgrading in the store as opposed through the provider online, you will only get taxed on the sale price of the phone, and not on the full price of the phone. Big win this time, big loss that I did not know all this all these years. We are probably the only ones who didn't know this either. Doh! This probably applies at every type of store, but Amazon will ding you for the full price as well in regards to tax fees. So we started calling this the So. Cal Walmart tour as we seemed to be trying every Walmart with no help. First stop was in Buena Park. Their servers for phone upgrades were down and they had no idea when it would be back up. We decided to head back home and decide if we wanted to do it this way anyways. Later I called back to verify that the machines were up before I wasted my time and gas. The guy on the phone told me that they were up. We went back, and nothing was up. No one gave a crap either for lying and wasting our time. Annoyed. Second location we went to in Garden Grove had the phones we wanted but not in the color. We went ahead and checked another location. I guess I should have called this one first. Oh well, at least I didn't get lied to. Next location was in Westminster. They had our phones and in the color we wanted at the same price. Sweet! I told him that I was headed over right now after this call. He said "OK." It took us about ten minutes to get over there. Two employees had no desire to help and just ignored us. Another one asked if we needed anything and proceeded to tell us that they were closing in ten minutes. He was going to lunch and so were they and they were done for the night. Okay, while I understand that, why did whoever not say a word to me when I called? Now I really wasted time and gas. I was fuming at this point and said that I was just going to walk away and I left. Total waste of everything. So that leads us here. This has been one of the nicer Walmarts so far. I honestly hate Walmart, but will go if they have a certain item I need or if their prices are a bit better. In the future as long as I am not desperate enough I will wait and check this one here after work. So far this is still a nice Walmart, not crazy with people practically running you over and the staff here is not rude that I have ran into yet. The store is still nicely set up and clean. I wanted to wait to try another one by home but my husband did not want to risk going there and running into another issue. We tried here first. First I called to see if they had the phones but both times I called it rang forever only to have someone pick up and hang it back up. Needless to say, I am a bit irked about that one still. If it was the guy who helped us and he was the only one covering a lot of customers like he was when we went, I could forgive this incident. I won't know though. Of course even at the time we went and the fact that I never see people buying phones when I go, for years, people were this time. We were third in line. The provider they had was not working well and he had to wait for online chats. I was as patient as I could be. I was done with this whole thing. He finally got to us, had no issues getting our phones, and no issues setting us up and upgraded. His service was friendly and he knew what he was doing. I was finally relieved after this whole mess. This is literally the worst Wal Mart I've ever been too. Here's why 1. They are always out of stock of everything 2. The online shipping pickup service had a long wait and terrible service 3. The grocery pickup service has no system whatsoever and so you ended up waiting longer than you would have had you gone inside to do the shopping. I had 3 different people ask me numerous times and still they couldn't figure it out. 4. The checkout lines are terrible 5. I can honestly say that this is one of the best Walmart location I have ever shopped at. The location was recently renovated to incorporate a large food section complete with produce and a plethora of meats and it really brought the store to life. The staff at this location is friendly and often ask if you are finding everything you are looking for (something I do not get at my neighborhood Walmart location). The store is clean, clean clean and the setup is open and not cluttered like other locations. I also do not have the typical Walmart problem of not being able to move throughout the aisles and getting ran over by large groups of disheveled shoppers who are always in a hurry. This store sits in a shopping center near a group of large businesses and draws a crowd that says so. The prices are good and the selection is even better. Parking is never an issue at this location as well which is another favorable mark for them (this lot is huge) and the store also has two entrances which is nice to see. The store is bright, vibrant and easy to find what you are looking for. I have only encountered one worker who has been rude in nature but otherwise everyone has seemed pleasant and eager to help. Walmart always has terrific sales and this is definitely one of the stores I will go to to take advantage of them going forward as it's right on my way home from work. read more

It's your regular, everyday, run-of-the-mill Walmart. Prices are phenomenal, aisles are stocked up well, lighting is glaringly fluorescent, service is mediocre as most questions asked are answer with "i don't know" and "go ask that person in that department." I live in the great Orange County void with there is no Walmart between Santa Ana and Foothill Ranch / Laguna Niguel. It's a drive no matter where I chose to go. I must say that I wish the lighting wasn't so harsh, and the employees were more knowledgeable, but in the end you get what you pay for. You really can't beat the prices at Walmart, so I can't really complain if the service and environment has room for improvement. Guess I'm just spoiled by Target! read more

It's a Wal-Mart. I kind of think that explains itself. This Wal-Mart however, is HUGEEE. But......honestly, I feel like it's too huge. It's quite empty compared to the huge amount of space there is (not enough employees?) which leaves things unstocked/having to travel across the store for really simple things. The aisles are nicely spread apart but this just makes shopping a little harder. Maybe I'm just not used to huge stores? Their pharmacy department sucks. We were told our meds would take 20 minutes...it's really not that hard, you just pop pills into a bottle and it took over an hour, ridiculous. You need to up your staff. P.S. Maybe it's the huge store and they need more rent money but does anyone think the prices at this Wal-Mart are a little higher than other Wal-Marts?! Or am I just crazy... read more

Often late or missing deliveries! I have lost count how many times my orders were over an hour late, only for me to call the store and they don't understand why the order is not showing up in their system, or that the driver went AWOL, or the tracking disappears. Once the order is in Postmates subcontractors' hands, the order is often left at the wrong door, and once I even found it on the wrong street (by going to the next apartment complex over and going to the same apartment unit number). It's nearly impossible to call the store and have them rectify the situation. The best they can do is cancel the order and you can try to get a new delivery a couple of days later. NEVER ORDER FOR DELIVERY AFTER 4 pm! They will be so behind in orders that they will be several hours late and then cancel your order because all of the drivers are gone for the day. You will sit around, delaying dinner and evening plans, only for them to cancel your order. They will say that they're sorry for the inconvenience and will work hard to not let it happen again, and you're sh*t out of groceries for the day. *Setting: 2007: My desk at work* Co-worker: "Hey Sukhraj, didn't you just move?" Me: "Yeah." Co-worker: "Have you gone to the Wal-Mart?" Me: "Um no, why?" Co-worker: "You should go." Me: "I should go to Wal-Mart?" Co-worker: "Yeah, the parking lot smells like pee." Me: "And that would make me want to go because?" Co-worker: "I want to know if you smell it too." Me: "Um, no thanks." Of course I went. The parking lot smells pee? That was strange enough for me to venture out and take a sniff and hey, I did need some supplies too. I had just moved and Wal-Mart is cheap. Damn them. The parking lot didn't smell like pee and still doesn't. I don't know what it smells like quite frankly. Asphalt maybe? So here we are present day and I'm back again. I needed to return something I bought a while ago and also pick up some travel supplies for my trip up north. So yeah, when you return something you need a little pink tag and I wasn't greeted by a friendly greeter or asked if I needed to return anything. What? That's a Wal-Mart staple. Where's the friendly old man or woman? I tracked someone down and they pointed me to an older lady that's severely disabled in a wheelchair and stuck in a corner with no concept of where she's at and stuck holding pink labels and mumbling about something. I was horrified! I have nothing against older people but is that how you treat someone?? Anyway, I asked her for a ticket and she didn't respond so I just had to reach down and grab one. The returns line was another issue. I got there around mid afternoon and it was long. Why do you people buy stuff and return it in masses? Impulse shopping maybe? Lured by the low prices? At least my item was defective. Is your whole cart defective? Now I've gotten my return and it's time to shop for my two items. I needed shampoo and some Jolen. Browsed the shampoo aisle and lo and behold, Wal-Mart doesn't stock Neutrogena! They have Neutrogena cleansing products and lotions but no shampoo. How is that possible? I can even find Neutrogena in K-Mart. How crazy is that? Is the shampoo line too good for Wal-Mart? So I grabbed some Pantene. It was cheap and on sale. I moved on the bleach. Wow, no bleaching products in stock. You have got to be kidding me?! Plenty of hair remover, no bleach. Heck, I'll even take the Sally Hansen stuff but they didn't have that either. The lady asked me if I wanted to lighten my face. No lady, just the hair, not my face. She said they would have more in stock at midnight. Yeah, no thanks. Overall, not pleased. Wal-Mart, you're supposed to be super stocked with everything and pretty much have everything that no other store has. This is a huge disappointment considering I actually decided to pay you another visit today. I'll think twice next time. read more

Whenever I go here, I hardly find what I'm looking for. The shelves are not stocked. It's the middle of the day! How are products already out?! Unfortunately, this is the only Walmart near me. When an item is out of stock, they do send me to another Walmart. I might as well made the extra drive in the first place. I'm not impressed with their grocery/produce section. I've encountered polite employees, some too polite. The head of customer service was very helpful when I needed assistance. This is not my favorite Walmart. But when I need to be in and out. I always feel so ashamed for shopping at Walmart, but whenever I see one, I tend to go inside and look around. They always look the same no matter which Walmart you're at. This particular one is in a pretty nice neighborhood, naturally, I was there really early in the morning so it was rather empty. The website says it opens at 9am but it actually opens at 7am. If you don't live in the area -- like me -- then it's kind of a hassle to get to this place unless you take the toll roads. However, I was exploring so it was okay. They have what you need the problem is trying to checkout. Limited checkout lanes open and the cashiers can't count or know what US currency looks like. I got in line to checkout and all the lines had 6 or more people in them. Found one with only 1 person in and went there. My mistake because the cashier was having a hard time making change for the customer. The 100 dollar bill that that customer gave him was giving him a hard time. I don't think the cashier has ever seen a 100 dollar bill before because the cashier kept staring at it for like 10 minutes. I could see it was a 100 dollar bill the person behind could see it. I felt bad for him and wanted to help but did not want to embarrass him so I just stood there. I watched 5 people checkout in the line next to me too. Finally another employee came over and opened up another register. Got checked out and the other cashier was still staring at the 100 dollar bill. Also tried 3 self checkouts before this and none worked. Employees even signed into them but left and it would not scan my 1 item. So I had to wait like 15 minutes before they came back and it did it again. 3 failed attempts at self checkout. Over an hour to buy 1 item. I know Walmart doesn't look at Yelp and could probably care less about it or their customers. read more

This review is about the tire and automotive service center only, I have not had any other shopping issues. It's Walmart and generally experiences are positive and shopping is what is to be expected when looking for a good deal. That being said... tire service... OMG!! Wow!! I arrived at 7:00 am on a Sat. I was the 2nd person in line to have my 1 tire replaced... 1 tire. 3 hours later, 3 hours!!... still waiting for my car. There is simply no excuse for that lack of service no matter how great the deal is. So if you come here, drop off the car and you don't wait. Leave the car all day and hope it gets finished. This is ridiculous at another level. Update: One of my tire's sidewall started to separate, so I decided to take it back to where I got it from because it was still under warranty. I showed up without an appointment on Sunday morning at 7:30. Fortunately they were not super busy and had time to assist me with getting two tires. The staff was friendly and provided excellent suggestions based in my now longer commute. The tires were installed quickly and I was out in about 45 minutes here's start to finish. I really appreciated the service and will return when my front tires are ready to be replaced. read more

I prepaid for tires and made a service appointment online, it took over 30 minutes to drop the vehicle off and they didn't call me to pick it up until just before 8pm. I came in first thing the next day to pick it up and waited another 30+ minutes for them to figure out how to process the paper work. I will not be coming back. read more

This Foothill Ranch Walmart has really stepped up their point-of-sale displays while entering. You can now walk into the store without being blocked by a row of bleach, batteries, or tampons; items that are not exactly an impulse purchase. This Walmart is much cleaner, more organized, and usually has a better selection of products than the other stores around the south county area. It's huge... Although the selection of home furnishings, fitness equipment, and men's apparel has been the same since 2011. The market area is fantastic. Great prices on packaged and canned goods. I can purchase a week's worth of food for under $50 and without a club card or managers special. Their prices never really change. One thing I do find odd about this Walmart is when I use credit cards. The card either doesn't scan and I end up having to use cash, or I need manager approval to make a purchase... Twice I've been led to the customer service area to be re-rang and required to enter security code information. Don't know if this is common. read more

If I could never shop at any store again, this Walmart would be the one! I went in for a Blackstone 36in 4 burner griddle that was shown online on Walmart.com for $184 with only 1 left in stock, in store at this location only. I drive 20 minutes to this location, only to find it was $100 more in person. After speaking with Customer Service who said they needed to scan the item to price match, the manager would not honor this because it came from the website. Two Walmart employees, one being the manager, informed me the website lies and they cannot accept prices off the website. What kind of manager tells the customer their own website lies or is inaccurate? I was told they only accept prices from the app. I download the Walmart App and this $184 price at this specific location shows up on the app. Once again, the manager would not honor this. Their website AND app are deceiving, as they false advertise the price and the amount of product. The website says "Only 1 left" as I am staring at 6 of them in the store. When I order online I choose shipping NOT same day delivery. Yet with no warning my local Walmart in Foothill Ranch decides to deliver same day by a driver! I rush home and YET AGAIN the driver delivers to the wrong house. Their photo of delivery location is a black screen. It's deceptive to change delivery options and highly inconvenient. She chose to disputed the purchase of the 2 cases of water and a few assorted unbagged items an African American man had purchased. He objected and produced his receipt as proof . Those of us who were not black were treated to her unkind comments as each of us was waved past. Until I stopped and demanded a full search of my purchases, and began taking them from the bag. She told me I didn't need to do so. I asked if she only profiled black people? She said she didn't know what that meant! This is a regional training center and I can see what they are learning here. A store of this huge size should have more than one employee managing it. I bought/ some WD-40, a wallplate, 4.5x high power spot lens (for me), disposable Nitrile Gloves, electrical tape, 75w LED 12w light bulbs. I was visiting the Foothill Ranch Supercenter November 27th, in the sporting goods department waiting by the ammunition cabinet for a Walmart rep to open the cabinet in order for me to purchase some ammunition. After a couple of minutes of waiting, a gentleman approached the desk and answered the phone. He had a lengthy conversation about a bicycle that they didn't have in stock (all the while I'm standing right there listening and waiting). This conversation went on for several more minutes when he decided to leave and go check on another bicycle. When I asked if he could help me. He remarked that he was helping another customer. I replied that I was also a customer and I was there right then, and wanted to complete a sale, right then, and the person on the phone was not, and that customer was likely not coming to that store anyway, because you didn't have what they wanted. He refused, and I immediately went to locate the store manager to ascertain if they could have someone that could make a sale and take my money. I never got my ammunition, and the other things that I had in my basket, I just left it there in sporting goods section and went home. This is not the first time I have had a not so good experience at this Walmart. I think I will try another store next time, if I ever go back to Walmart. read more

This Walmart is my to go to buy anything we need but customer service is horrible. We bought a bike for my son and the brakes did not even work. I went back several times to either return or fix. The customer service guy said the return time is only 30 days and said there was a tech at Laguna Walmart that can adjust the brakes. He said the tech was there and I should go. I went there there was no tech at all but they were able to return it since it is still under 90 days not 30 days!!! I returned the bike and bought a new one from the same Walmart again. read more

To all customers that go to the auto center: I went last Saturday and 2 of the auto center employees searched my car, glove compartment, console and side doors, all docs and c d that I had in there were a mess, if you vehicle needs a special tool to remove the tires, please handed to him. I had it in the trunk and they said they found it in the driver's door, which is totally incorrect. I contacted the person in charge of the auto center and they said they search peoples cars that it happens all the time. What a disappointment. read more

I got a "Gingerbread Village" from Walmart the other day. At first, it looked like an awesome gingerbread cornucopia. But when I opened the box and poured out the contents, I thought I had missed something. The pieces were BITE SIZED. The images on the box made the pieces look bigger, yet they were only half the size depicted. For another thing, I nibbled a piece of gingerbread. It tasted AWFUL. Gingerbread already doesn't taste great, but this was another level. After washing down the taste with some milk, I tried some of the frosting. It tasted even WORSE. After washing that down too, I began to set the "Gabled House" up. No sooner than I started, I noticed that the instructions called for you to ice the bottom of the pieces along with the top. The problem with that? That would GLUE the gingerbread to to the table. Great, time to eat gingerbread with crumbs from who knows what stuck to it. I decided that not everyone likes lemon bar crumbs stuck to gingerbread. In the end, I did not ice the bottom. (I was using some of my own icing, due to Walmart's icing tasting bitter.) Then, I got to work on the "Chalet." Very quickly, I realized that there was no printing for a door on one of the pieces. The instructions, however, depicted there was. At least the decorations tasted good. Overall, this gingerbread kit was way worse compared to the gingerbread kit I got from Michael's a few weeks ago. In my rating system, I give this "Gingerbread Village" a rating of two stars. Which means: Bad. read more

Slow checkout. Not enough checkers on a Saturday. The checker person we had was unGodly slow. We had a pretty full cart, but it took her 20 minutes to scan and bag. We tried to help but she didn't like when we did. If we took something like a bag of chips that didn't need its own bag, she stopped scanning to see what we were doing with it. Everyone in line was grumbling and looking at us like it's our fault, but this woman, I hesitate to name her because I don't want her fired, she had no business being on a register. She should be sweeping the stockroom. Walmart, don't you have any standards? The head cashier came by to tell her to turn her light off but did nothing else to assist. Useless person.
