Walmart 'delivery from store' is consistently delivered to the wrong address. I never have a problem with UPS, FedEx, Amazon and other delivery services. Calling the store is a waste of time. You will never get a person on the phone, or they will give you attitude and just keep sending you in circles so you eventually give up. i ordered something online to pick up in-store where they clearly have put the pickup kiosk, did what it prompted me to do. waited 10 mins and no one came . went to the help center and the lady screamed at me that i should know its in the garden center. there's no signs anywhere stating its in the garden center. even when i spoke to the employees in the pick up area said they have been asking for months for signs. they have not given them any... not cool! then i ordered alot of sheets and towels, some came from your distribution center. but the ones that clearly states its coming from the foothill store, it stayed for 4 days in the processing spot, i went on the website to see if they have the sheets in stock and they do, this is a being lazy on the job and this is not ok. the help center online even couldnt reach anyone to ask . unexceptable. i will never shop at this store. they need to fire and hire and train people in this store to have customer service. read more

We just did the free grocery pickup through this Walmart in Foothill Ranch today, and I am blown away! They got almost everything on our order, and the one thing they substituted (a pizza) was an equal price. Walmart has a policy where they don't substitute anything for more money, which is nice. There's been several times where I've done free grocery pick up from Ralphs and they have subbed for a item double the price. So I'm glad that Walmart doesn't do that. It was organized and fairly easy, and took maybe five to seven minutes for them to come out. Which I appreciate as I had a toddler in the car. We pulled up to the designated area, which is now by the Pharmacy and not on the side like it says online. Anyways, we called them and told them we were there, our name, phone number, and parking spot number, and they brought out everything. I didn't have to touch or sign anything, which was nice too. I loved that after I got home, I discovered everything was bagged correctly. It had colder items with colds, household items with household items, etc. I don't think I've ever been to Walmart that's properly bagged items, so I'm quite impressed! I wish I had discovered this earlier in the epidemic, but we plan to get all our groceries this way in the future. DO NOT USE THE TIRE AND LUBE CENTER!!! I called to get a quote on an oil change for my car and was quoted $19.98. After confirming my make and model. When I got there, the assistant manager, Darren, said that if my car took a certain oil, he would have to use synthetic instead which was $45. He claimed they were now out of the Oil my car used and would have to use synthetic. Since I had already made the trip out there and didn't want to find another place, I agreed to have them do it. When I went back to pick up my car, Darren said that my car did need the special oil and because they were out of it, he charged me $62 for a special "bottle service"! What the heck is bottle service??? He said he told me about this extra charge before I left my car there, but neither I nor my teenage son heard him say that. I wouldn't have left my car there if I knew I would be paying that much for an oil change. I cannot believe they do this to their customers. Needed a cake for my son's first birthday and was skeptical of a walmart cake. Bakery allowed me to taste test and provided me options for my cake, such as cake flavor, filling and buttercream vs whipped frosting. I didn't want to spend a whole lot on a cake and wanted to keep it cost effective yet tasty. The birthday was to be inspired by the movie UP. I researched all over getting quotes from $500-$35. I went to bakeries from the Chinese ones which always tastes light and fresh but far to a fancy bakery to check out their selections and get quotes. Walmart bakery listened to my needs and even provided a free smash cake with my order! I ended up on a half sheet with half chocolate and white cake with the Bavarian cream as the filling so guests had an option. Cake was moist despite it being frozen from a warehouse and not baked in house. Was amazing! Highly recommend it. This Walmart is the only one that is organized and not mobbed by messy people. So glad I gave this place a chance to create my UP movie themed birthday cake for my baby's birthday. Great service and happy with our cake. read more

The organization of this Walmart is absurd, like how the beauty section is all the way next to the garden/outdoor supplies? And also how the beauty section is not a part of the hygiene section (body soap, lotion etc). I do like how BIG this walmart is, like I can get lost and fill my cart up with just random things. I would give zero for this people. They are trying to fraud us. My husband took his car for oil change service. He was doing this service with them so many years, but because of new management their service quality decreased. Yesterday on January 28 2022, my husband took his car for oil change. And there is one guy who always does his job with quality he was doing his job, but another Tech kept interacting him form his job, and it took us almost 2 hours to get back our car because of those trash "tech specialists" they call themself. They didn't let that African American guy to finish his job. Then my husband complained to the cashier why those guys kept interacting and talking to him, and wasting his time. He is already doing his job. Then manager showed up being so rude to us he said "Hey" not excuse me or can i help you.. , my husband tried to explain to him whats going on with polite way. But he was being so rude, and told my husband your car will be ready and you go out your way. And my husband got upset with that and told him that he doesn't want to talk to him, and that they have terrible service. Then he was about to make payments, and cashier charged him $53.63 plus tax something, but we were expecting them to charge us over $72, because they charged us three months ago for $72 for exactly the same service. We asked them the reason they said they didn't know and this is the price for today. So it seems like they were kept overcharging us for this cheap service. And my husband got mad wanted to report on them, but he cooled down, and didn't report them. And today on January 29 2022, somebody called him from phone number +1(949)837-1015 and he said he was supervisor and told him not to come to this store anymore for service because he was yelling. Unfortunately I can't say much nice. Been here Twice for tires and the work crew is painfully slow. The guy ahead of me had a a flat to be fixed.. Two guys worked on it. He checked in at 8, was next in line and left. At 10:45. His car was in the Bay for over 90 minutes. I was next in line to have 2 tires installed. This is unbelievable customer service from WALMART Lake Forest location. This location used to have Walmart.com online order pick all the way to the end to the store. Now, the online order pick up can be done without walk-in into store, and they even delivered to your car where designated parking spots are clearly marked with signs. This store has the worst pick-up process one can imagine. The store has lockers, but unlike Amazon and Home Depot, they are not individual lockers, but group lockers. When you go to the lockers, there's no employee there. You sign into a kiosk and wait. Also, you item may not be in the locker and he/she has to go to the store room to find it. I'd like to start with that I dread going to Walmart. Always crowded, having to park miles away from the entrance of the store, and checkout being disastrous. However, Wal Mart has this many people for a reason, amazing prices. I get all my fabric here as it's waaaay cheaper than Joann's. I dislike having to get customer service to come over because the majority of the time, the area is deserted. Today, I clicked the button for help and waited a bit, and a woman behind me seemed frustrated beyond belief. Still consistently terrible. Yes they have affordable prices, but is it worth it? Customer service is so so lacking and now not only do you wait in line to check out for a half hour but then you have to line up at the door to have your receipt checked like a criminal. Hour are advertised as 7 to 7, yet we got there at 6:30 pm and we're told that they couldn't help us get a tire fixed, because they used the time from 6:30 pm to 7 pm for clean up If that is the store policy then the hours should reflex 7 to 6:30 pm. In the past, Walmart has not generally been my favorite place to be for a myriad of reasons, I think most of you are aware of. Target usually would usually be my discount chain store of choice, but given that I have a Target in Foothill Ranch and this Walmart Supercenter now (this has been remodeled and expanded from an original, regular Walmart), I find myself at this Walmart much, much more. First of, there is a full grocery in here that is very well stocked. The prices are great and I like a meat section a lot. I purchase steaks, chicken, pork chops, hamburger and bacon here all the time. The regular grocery prices are the best as far as eggs, milk, cheese, canned goods, frozen foods, alcohol, seasonings, baking items, and produce. Their produce selection is not, IMO, as great of quality as Sprouts and some local markets, but in a pinch it will do. Their deli is awesome. I enjoy their rotisserie chicken, fried chicken, hot wings, mac and cheese, deli meats and cheeses and frozen pizza in the deli section. They have an awesome selection of holiday goods during Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I really dispise Wal Mart. I shamefully go in though to snag good DVD and book deals, cheap pet food, cheap food for myself, and cleaning supplies. I only usually go in to Wal Mart at the most 2-3 times a month, if that. Just because I prefer Target, I mean, who doesen't?! Went here on Black Friday. Yes, to hit the massive crowds to get my cheap 2 buck DVDs. I mean, we all know I'm a DVD freak. Went in around 11am. Store stinks like always. Ugh. Find the 2 buck DVDs they said they had on special...the add claimed they had "100s of DVDs that'll last the whole day" Uh ya whatever. There were only select titles left. And the 2$, 5$ and 9$ sale DVDs were all mixed in together. Had to hunt down an employee to figure out which titles were at what price. That took 15 minutes. I mean, it's Black Friday, shouldn't your store be fully staffed?! Anyway....found 5 DVDs that I wanted and a People magazine. Went to check out. All cashiers are open, but a least 4 people were in line at each. What!! Ok, I'll wait..... Left 45 minutes later a happy camper (kinda) and 30 bucks poorer. read more

It's Walmart. I pretty much go there when I'm in need of something either like now, or like 11pm, or just bored and want to go look for well.....cheap useless stuff for myself. When I need cheap lounge around the house t-shirts, boom they got them...Fruit of the Loom for like less than $5 bucks. Sure they are not made with the utmost quality, but it's like less than $5, who cares, I'm lounging remember. I've bought steaks here now and again, kind of cheap and they have thick cuts, and every now and then they're may even be some marbling in it. Every now and again I get all excited cause they'll have some truly trippy only Walmart store kind of stuff that you just have to have for say a white elephant gift or something like that. They have decent prices on about everything in the store. It's always pretty well kept, and pretty clean. I used to totally make fun of Walmart,...I don't know why, just because, but now that I go there, it's not so bad. I do my best not to ask any kind of technical questions, I pretty much go in, grab and get out. I really just feel the urge now and then to go and cruise all the aisles, you just really never know what you'll find. This is a pretty big decent well lot location. I have zero problems when I go, and now and again I'll be surprised and find me something I really like for like nothing! Also, everyone I've encountered there, has been super friendly. Ok, I was in 5 states last month. Went to Wal-Marts in 4 out of 5 because none of them had Targets in their metropolitan areas. This is what I figured out. Wal-Marts are pretty damn cool in other states because that's where everyone else goes. They don't have options. Therefore, you don't get folks bitching about selection or service. They're there to shop, and that's all. The greeters, stockers, and cashiers at all non-California locations are more than happy to help you. It's the best job in the area to have. Folks here think it's the pits, and compared to say In-N-Out wages, it probably is. When all is said and done, I do like it here. It's a little out of the way for me, but that's OK. I also docked for not having more of a food selection. Parking lot is huge. Inside we found cheap trash cans you can't find in Target or Bed/Bath/Beyond. Also found dark brown organizing bins for $6 each. Ain't finding those prices at Container Store. I already decided to make this a bimonthly occurrence. read more

I came in to buy some leggings. These guys are open until 11 pm. I tried some on and decided that they were too long at about 10:50 pm. By the way, Wal*Mart brand clothing apparently runs really small. I wear mostly a size 3, but I tried on their Small (3-5) in a dress and split a seam! Yeesh. Even the Mediums (7-9) were tight. Ok, so it's 10:50 pm, in the meantime I snag a bracelet, some socks, and some gummy worms. By the time I reach the front, it is 11:05. Girl at the register has her cash drawer almost all put away, sees me, gives me the dirtiest look and gratingly asks, "Are you a CUSTOMER?" "Uh.. yes?" "The store closed at 11." "Yeah, I know, I just finished, sorry. I can just leave..." "No, it's FINE. How are you paying?" "Er, I was gonna pay cash, but if it would be easier for you I can pay with a card." "Yeah, you better pay with a card." "Um... ok... sorry." She rang me up, and reminded me once again that the store closes at ELEVEN. Er, yeah. And then two employees followed immediately after me at the register. Ok, I understand that when a store closes, it's closed. But usually this store has a policy of not closing the registers until 10 past-- it's usually in their announcement. Also, don't most stores do a quick sweep to make sure no one is still in the building? When I used to work retail, you weren't allowed to empty the cash drawers until the store was clear of guests. I could have easily grabbed a register's worth of cash and ran outta there, robbing my "friendly" neighborhood Wal*Mart. Not to mention, what if they had like locked me in the store? I was so dumbfounded at the employee's ire at me for actually patronizing the store. Not to mention, the lady at the register was almost yelling at me, when two employees behind me ALSO wanted to buy stuff. My transaction had three items, it was easy. I wasn't holding her up, she still had other customers. I don't know what the heck kind of day she had at work, but wtf, why take it out on me? This review is only for the Tire and Lube department. I called ahead on a Friday afternoon to find out how long the wait would be for an oil change. The guy told me 2 hours. By the time I got to Walmart there were no cars getting serviced. They got me in and changed my oil in less than 20 minutes! Best oil change experience. No more waiting hours and hours at a dealership or having a guy upsell me on everything they can possibly think of. read more

I don't quite understand why this Walmart has low stars. Most of their produce is fairly organized, are nearly fresh (hey, it's Walmart, not a lot to expect), and it's a very big location! In South OC, especially in the Irvine area, it took many years to open up a Walmart store. At the back location of the store, there's a tire and oil change station. If you're driving from outside, pull out to the backside by the alleyway on the opposite side of Pet Smart. If you're walking from inside the store, go look for the bicycle/auto parts section. You'll see a really big sign that says TIRE. Here's the price deets for oil changes: Full Synthetic: $49.88 Conventional: $36 ish My car is full synthetic, so I don't remember the exact price for conventional. But it's superrrr cheap!!! And the guys get the service done in 30-40 minutes maximum. read more

This is a nice Walmart, but on 12/14/19 around 5:20 pm the middle aged/elderly woman with dark blonde collar bone length hair and bangs who wears glasses was starting to open up lane 2 and I had politely asked her if she was opening up the lane and before I could finish my sentence she rudely interrupted me and said not yet in a rude tone as well. Then about 1-2 minutes later she opened up the lane without letting anyone know and instead of letting people who have been waiting get in line she let other people who were just starting to walk up in line.
