The customer service desk dude Janne or whatever her name was SO incredibly rude. I was talking to my husband about how the customer was chasing after the lady that was just at the CSR desk but went to grab a manager. Instead of saying something kind like "I'll be right back I need to grab a manager" she looked right at her and took off. I tell my husband "wow! She looked right at her and took off still. Some of these workers are so rude!" Because something similar happened to me in electronics the other day. So this Janne looks at me and says "she went to grab my manager!" As if I was even talking to her. I said, "the lady literally looked at her and walked away..." she repeated herself as if I'm deaf. I said she could have told her she'd be right back but she looked her in the face and ignored her. She looked at me like she wanted to fight me and said "I'm not going to argue with you!" I said huh? This stores has always been poorly run (for DECADES!). It's gotten worse over the years. Shelves are stocked, cashiers aren't available, delivery is a joke. A lot of customers are young Army guys and their families or retired folks. So limited incomes and this Walmart has made it very clear they don't give two s**** about these people. This location is consistently the slowest watch paint dry experience of my life. Mobile order pickup is an absolute joke, after waiting 20 minutes for my one item I had to go up to the delivery door only to be told I have three more orders ahead of me. I'd walk inside but it takes longer to checkout at this location than it does to do the actual shopping. Skip this location, drive to another store and you'll still get home sooner. read more

Overall, I think is a good Walmart. You can find almost anything you need at this store. Older employees need to be trained better on how to help customers and not acting like they are bothered if you ask a question, (or maybe they just do not care about customers at all). Younger employees are always nice and try to help, always. I come here since several years and this behavior never changed so I guess more training would be useful. It is a busy store sometimes, and you can often see weird customers wandering around in pajamas pants like zombies standing in the middle of isles whit no clue if other people need to get through. But I rarely go to Walmart as is and I bought a Walmart brand candle in a hurry because I ran out of the ones I normally buy online and wanted my house to smell like fall for a get together I was having. It exploded after being used to the almost end of candle. Like. Legit exploded! Candle wax all over my serving tray and ruined a cloth pumpkin. So sad. The shelves are habitually empty with maybe 3-4 employees scattered throughout trying to restock shelves while anywhere from 6-10 mindlessly wander around the self checkout area and another half dozen futily attempt to fill online orders from empty shelves. read more

I went into the auto service dept to get a simple tire repaired which was purchased earlier at the Walmart supercenter in Mesquite NV. The tire was not holding air . A simple 15 minute fix. They were not even that busy at 10:00 am. He never told me that it would take all day. When I returned 4 hours later he made like everyone that had appointments came first and I had to wait. He said I was rude for me getting upset that the service there is so bad. Don't get anything done there because if something is wrong you wont get it fixed. I've been going there for years and now there service sucks. read more

This has got to be the worst Walmart I've ever been to. First, there is a lack of shopping carts. The store is a bit messy and employees lack customer service. Lastly, there are customers who ARE NOT wearing masks and the employees do not enforce the rule. I asked the employees when I was leaving the store if it was mandatory to have masks, and she said "people have the option to wear it or not but we don't enforce it." YET, there is a huge sign outside the store saying face coverings were mandatory while shopping in the store. Okay, never coming back to this store again. I believe in handicap parking but this location is a bit essesive. Every single row in the parking area has 6 to 7 handicap spots on each side. Which are never full. As I walked throughout the store shopping. The store associates didn't seem to happy..whenever I made eye contact.. I didn't receive a smile a greeting anything. Just a stare ...looked like they were hoping I wouldn't ask for assitance. Cashier was nice. Not a bad experience but not the greatest either. I've been into several Walmart' in different states and majority of them have happy associates. The associates at this location were not rude but just doing their job..no real customer service skills. This has got to be the worst Walmart I've ever been to. I was inside today for 20 minutes and I heard over the loud speaker twice about how annual training is available on three computers and whoever available, come do it. Another lady was yelling on the loud speaker about home goods needing to answer the phone three times. On the fourth time I guess she found out who exactly was in that department and called them by name. Everything is messy, all the time. They're out of a lot of things you need, but are stocked up on the other stuff. I tried to buy razors but out of three employees, zero knew how to get the magnet thing off. It's hard to rate chain stores because one day it can be great and others not so great but I will say that for the most part every time I've been here I've had no issues. I feel they've done a fairly decent job throughout thus pandemic to keep customers "safe" and its an average Walmart. Some of the staff is friendly while others just mind their business. What kind of WalMart closes? This one. The only reason I go to WalMart is because it is (supposed to be) always open. At 2am when I need something, it's one of the only places open in COS. WalMart has a really good selection of stuff in general, but who doesn't know that? If I want something I order it from Amazon. But if I want something NOW, I go to WalMart. In that vein, what's the use of a WalMart I can't go to NOW? That means at anytime. This one is not 24/7 so it is dead to me. Completely useless. Go to the one on North Academy, it's open 24/7 like a WalMart should be. The only upside to this new WalMart is that they put in some EVGO CHAdeMO stations and some L2 stations out infront which is great. I haven't charged here yet, so don't know if it is free or paid for, but I applaud WalMart for putting in some DCQC's in the barren landscape of Colorado Springs. read more

On 08/07/2023 I had a grocery order for pick up at 4PM. I was notified it was ready around 3:50, we arrived at Walmart pickup in space 13 at 4:15. It's currently 5:40 and I have called them 3 times to inquire why we haven't been given our groceries. The woman on the phone was rude with her tone though I was calm cool and collected when addressing the situation. She notified me that "a screen of other people need their groceries" suggesting that others have been waiting longer than we have so we must wait. Understandably. We are still waiting. It's 1.5 hours past the intended pick up time and we are still parked and waiting. I followed up with a final phone call after an additional 20 minutes of waiting and the answer didn't change. I'm not sure what the complication is but for the time we've spent simply waiting I wouldn't have minded if they notified me they aren't able to get me groceries timely so I can get them myself. That's never been a problem. Rather they're dragging out the delivery to the car and treating me poorly with condescending comments. It's upsetting because I must go to work and the 2 hours I had before my overnight shift tonight was to be spent cooking dinner for my family and preparing for the night. It's distressing that now my groceries are warm and waiting for me and no one is able to simply wheel it to the door where I could even wheel it to my car unload and wheel back to their door. I have extended my own hand to helping them complete the order to cross a task off their list but they've essentially slapping that hand of help away and continued to waste my time. Do not place grocery orders with this location if it's during normal business hours, I recommend having them for pick up during the last window of the night (2100-2200) or they will fall behind significantly putting their team and customers back hours. read more

Today will be my last time shopping at Walmart. I have been a Walmart customer for over 20 years, I came to return 2 outdoor plants that did not survive the winter. I purchased the plants in early August of last year. I know that Walmart has a 1 year warranty on plants. I returned the plants in the original containers, they had the description, barcode and price on the plants. At 7:30 this morning I want to return the plants I was told that I had to provide the receipt. I told the woman behind the counter that I didn't have it and I thought they could look it up on my credit card. She told me again that she needed the receipt There was now one else in line, that is why I came in early. I have occasionally had to return an item and I have never had a problem. This is the closest store to my home. I usually buy all of my groceries, prescriptions and other items at this store. I have spent thousands of dollars at this store over the past 2 years that I have lived here. Over $15 return Walmart has lost a very loyal customer. I'll be grocery shopping at Safeway, Walgreens for medicine and makeup and Spencer's Garden center for my plant addiction. read more

Yes, I understand it is a Wal Mart, so my expectations were very low walking in, but I do expect to be able to do two things at Wal Mart; find low quality items and be able to pay for them. After striking out on a road trip trying to get food and the near by junk fast food establishments, we decided to go to the 24 hour Wal Mart. After picking out a few things to purchase we went to check out, only to find out that there was only ONE line open and there were literally 12 carts in front of us, many of them FULL. I ordered grocery pickup and when I called to check in someone was screaming in the background so the person on the other end couldn't hear me and kept asking me to repeat myself. After that he said he checked me in so I waited twenty minutes only to find out he only said he checked me in to get me off the phone. I had to try and get the attention of one of the workers and all of them tried to ignore me and three of them went to their car and sat in it with the doors open. To top it all off it's raining! I avoid Walmart like the plague but this location is by far the worst Walmart I have ever been to. The parking lot is a joke It's darn near impossible to find anything since their products are not faced every night. They have a small section of items compared to other stores in the location and the floors seem a bit dirty. Employees do not care about the customers and are really hard to find in the store. I also do not like the fact that you are treated like you are stealing something if you brought your own reusable baggie and you are given an attitude about it.
