Today I want to share that Walmart + delivery and shipping is a game changer. I wanted to update on this to all Yelpers. I know in store experience is more hands on and you are more in control of your shopping experience. I get this very much. But in a virtual world which I live in mostly now since the pandemic. I live in a bubble so in my mind if it is crowded I will keep my distance or put on my masks. To me getting groceries online helps me a great deal and this method has helped me not to forget important items. I normally carry a list when I do shop in a store but if it is crowded, I get terribly distracted and anxiety sets in. So that list becomes less important and I am trying to get out of that store fast . As you read any of my reviews about my in-store experience, you will find that I put strict time limits. If time is up, time to leave the store. Well Walmart+ delivery subscription gives me such ease to shop in the comfort of my home. And we either sign for order or we are given a one time passcode to show driver. This helps to make sure you are getting your correct orders. However, this only works if the shopper that is assigned is making sure everything on your list is available and provides substitutions when necessary. With an additional charge you can get order quicker and talk to shopper in app. But I only use this if we need an item right away. But I set my schedule around the 2hour time window so I can be present for all deliveries. I think about of people a lot who can benefit is our senior citizens and adults who do not drive. And I think about new stay at home moms or moms who are in last stages of pregnancy. This is awesome to have this service and it is worth every dime. It is actually cheaper than taking an Uber to the store and getting picked up. I know for certain Uber rides can get expensive if used as often as I need to shop. So Walmart+ is the cheapest option to go if you are no longer able to drive. And hauling groceries on a bus is very difficult to do. read more

On the positive side, the vegetables and fruit were fresh and cost a bit less than Safeway. I go to this Walmart once a month, primarily to get the small bags of kitty litter which don't have chemicals. It's much more unpleasasnt since they took out the self-checkout. I went early to avoid the incredibly long lines. One of the employees walked in front of me when I was pushing my cart as though I were invisible which was very rude. It would have been easy to step around me without impeding my way. The clerk who checked me out at 8:00 was very friendly to the middle-aged minority male in front of me but was very rude to me, perhaps because I'm a White senior woman. I spoke to her several times and she totally ignored me. She was speaking softly and I had to ask her several times what she said and each time she snapped at me. Finally, I asked her if she were having a bad day because she was so unpleasant and she accused me of insulting her. I worked with the public for decades. It's just as easy to be pleasant. read more

I visited Walmart today with my wife and our two young children. As we were walking toward a checkout lane, a cashier suddenly yelled at us, saying his lane was closed. I must not have heard him the first time, but the second time he raised his voice so loudly that everyone around us turned to look. It was humiliating, and it actually scared my son. I calmly asked him not to yell at me, but instead of acknowledging it or offering an apology, he just rolled his eyes. When I asked to speak to a manager, he told me he was the manager. Only after I pressed again did he point to another employee--who was apparently the actual manager. Rather than trying to de-escalate the situation, this cashier continued to be confrontational, saying "Yeah, let's go talk to the manager," and kept rolling his eyes with an attitude the entire time. I was shocked that someone representing the store would act this way in front of customers--especially with children present. His name was Rafael, and I truly hope this incident is addressed by store leadership. I don't go out of my way to write negative reviews, but no customer should be treated like this. A simple, respectful conversation could have avoided all of this. read more

I don't know who the young lady that just helped me during her lunch or before her lunch. Or what have you the manager? Out, f****** standing work out. F****** standing. I cannot emphasize that she went above and beyond for a gristled, old veteran with an attitude. She went above and beyond for me. And this veteran is very appreciative. She went, she went back in. Try to find a receipt for me that I couldn't find out. I gave her the wrong date and we double checked. I gave her the right date. She found a receipt. She got me my refund. If not, I would have had a $25 gift card. Refund. Which I wasn't about to do the item altogether was 205, so she saved me a headache of having to resell it. I told her I owe her lunch. She said, no again today, June 28 at around 11:15. I didn't catch her name, but she was the supervisor on duty. The manager, excuse me. Short, all the way at the customer service area. I don't know who she is. I should ask the name, but I want to tell you. She went above and beyond, she didn't have to. And I'm very appreciative. She told me I have to go to lunch in 10 minutes and I did give her attitude sort of like wasn't finding someone else. Or let me speak to your manager then? And she was the manager, l o l. Either way, though, 9 times out of 10, everything goes smoothly at Walmart. This one, in particular, the one by the 16 freeway, not so much, and it's ghetto. His hell over there, but on Bridgeport, again, I haven't had a problem there that I can recall so again. Thank you very much for the manager. *BEWARE OF PLACING AN ORDER ONLINE FOR PICK UP* I placed my order for pick up the night before and selected a pick up time between 11am and 12pm. I arrived around 11:45 to multiple cars waiting to park in a pick up spot, there are 20 marked spots. Since I had my 3 year old with me and I knew she wouldn't be able to wait that long, I left and came back 4 hours later. By this time, the line had gotten even longer and there were even cars creating their own pick up spots by parking next to the designated pick up spots. I could tell this was going to be at least a couple hours wait so I chatted into the customer service requesting to change my pick up time to another date. They told me I couldn't but I do have 4 days to pick it up so I can go at anytime. The next morning I wake up to a text telling me my order was canceled because I didn't come pick it up. Here's the kicker, everything I bought was food to feed my family for the week and it was my last $150 until payday. Since the order was canceled, the money is still on hold and it will take 10 business days to return to my bank account. I reach out to customer service via chat and explain the situation, after some back and forth with the customer service agent I was forwarded to management. First, he tried to tell me I went to the wrong location which was a lie, I have only ordered from 1 walmart but to humor him, I even checked my digital receipt while i was chatting with him and I did in fact order from the correct location. Then he tried to tell me i had to notify them to let them know i wasnt coming and if i would have done so then i would have had 4 days to pick up the order. When I reminded him that I did try to notify them but they told me I had 4 days to pick up the order and it was all recorded in my previous chats he said it didnt matter and that he was going to resolve the issue. All they were willing to offer was a $15 off any purchase of $25 or more promo code for the inconvenience and told me to contact my bank. Even after I explained this was all the money I had and now I can't feed my family this week because of their mistake which was all documented on their end they were unwilling to do anything for me. I WILL NEVER USE THEIR ONLINE ORDERING SYSTEM AGAIN AND HIGHLY ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE! read more

This is a huge Walmart, and if you are coming here to get your shopping on, you're at the right place. I came here after dinner on Thanksgiving day (Thursday) at around 8 PM expecting to be able to comfortably get all of my items on my shopping list, to faced with failure and emptiness. I hate Walmart. I avoid it at all cost. When I do have to come here I try to do online order in store pickup. That's not so bad. Unfortunately, yesterday I had to go inside and complete an exchange. Prior to going in, I reviewed their exchange policy online to ensure I didn't need to get a receipt from my coworker. I did not. Awesome! So I go in, find what I need, go to customer service and wait. It's my turn and I tell the woman I need to exchange the helmet for a larger size and I don't have a receipt. She clearly wasn't listening because she asked for my receipt. I repeated that I did not have one and she said she couldn't do a return without a receipt. I repeated that I just wanted to EXCHANGE the smaller helmet for a larger helmet. She repeated herself. I was short for time so I just paid for the helmet I needed and left. When I got home I called the store to speak to a manager. I was transferred 3 times before the individual who answered the phone asked me "what is your problem anyway?" ... So I tell her what had happened when I was in there earlier and she said "I think you need a receipt for an exchange." THINK? So I asked her if they didn't honor what the website says... She repeats that she THINKS I need a receipt. so instead of cussing her out I say, "okie dokie thanks." and she HANGS UP. No apology, no goodbye, just click! So I call the 1800 number and explain both interactions. She offers to call the store for me. She speaks to the asset protection manager and he tells her that he'll talk with staff and to have me come back in before he's off at 530 just in case he needs to come assist. Long story short (I'll spare you the details of the further incompetence that I had to deal with) the exchange was made and I got a super cute Black Panther helmet for one of the kids we adopted for Christmas this year. If you MUST shop Walmart I highly recommend doing so online only. read more

I waited 45 mins at the jewelry counter to get my daughter earrings that I seen weeks before and they didn't mind opening the locks then. As a disabled person I'm telling other disabled people not to shop here. Not only do they never have enough motorized carts but they have closed down the self checkout on the grocery side, which forces disabled grocery shoppers to have to walk around more and stand in very long lines. I have reported this store to the ADA (American Disabilities Act) for a hostile disability environment as well as to Jesse Jones on Kiro 7. To top it off every time I am in here their online personal shoppers get irritated with my inability to move like everyone else and cuss me under what they think is their breath but due to their earbuds/airpods you can hear them very audibly. This was the only place I could shop due to being on disability. But I'd rather eat less and pay more for my food! I'd give negative stars if I could read more

Placed an order for delivery from this walmart, received a text saying it would be late. After waiting 2 hrs. past the delivery time received a text saying to check my email it was not getting delivered. The email said the driver tried to deliver but couldn't. The store operator connected me with Brad who wouldn't let me finish my sentence and transferred me to the pick-up delivery line. Anyone who uses this Walmart knows that the pick-up delivery line NEVER answers. I tried to call back but Brad wouldn't answer this time. I called Walmart customer service, I could barely understand the guy (in India or Pakistan) he would not try to contact the store and told me to call the store and re-order. the customer service from the store and from corporate is for shit. This is the worst run walmart in the Puget Sound area. I have never had anything but problems with this store. I Called customer service they told me if the chicken package that I was going to return was un open they would do an exchange because the chicken was rotting which it wasn't open (I had just bought it two days prior) I come in and they were going to do the exchange then the so call "store manager" says that They can't do anything without a receipt after I told her what register I used and what type of payment and what time I purchased. If I could give 0 stars I would. Order placed at 11:11 AM today. Delivery 5pm to 7pm. Order didn't show up. Got a text saying Order is delayed up to 2 hours. Charlotte from customer service said driver was secured. It's now 9: 23pm and just talked to another person from customer service. He said the driver got to the store and then suddenly called off for medical emergency. (This seems to be a popular excuse for drivers as they are lazy and we have gotten that excuse about 4 times) Now they say tomorrow am the Order will be delivered. I asked about the refrigerated and frozen items as they can't be sitting out. I told them I wanted those items repacked from the refer and freezer section. They can't guarantee that can you believe it? So they offer to return the fee and 15.00. That does not equal compensation at all. So many delivery problems with this store. I will now start doing all my shopping with Fred Meyer and Safeway. Don't trust Walmart for grocery delivery. read more

I got here an hour before they closed on Tuesday, the person working there told me they didn't have any slots available, but that I could come back the next morning at 7am. Come Wednesday morning, I arrived at 7 am but there are 7 cars in line. 4 hour wait and I can leave my car and keys there, but there are no appointments! Cost me 2 roundtrips and an hour of my time.
