Out of all the WalMart I have been to, this has the quickest check out ever.

Awful customer service. Nobody knows where anything is, very unhelpful staff. It's walmart so of course there's only one or two cashiers if that, so you have to use the self check out. Understaffed and not well trained at all. Generally out of products too. Last couple of times I was there shopping carts were not in the bay so had to go back to the parking lot to retrieve a cart. read more

I know Walmart isnt known for customer service, but i would rate this walmart 0 stars if i could. My fiancee and i typically avoid this location. However, we were in need of a safe to store our valueables in. We first tried to find them, and couldn't. Therefore, we asked an employee and he said look a couple isles over near the hardware. Nothing but paint supplies. We then tried to find the same guy, which he dissapeared. So we found another employee, and he said it was in the home furnishings department, so we followed him there, and he couldn't find it. So he asked a fellow employee he pointed back to hardware. We went back to hardware and we continued to search, to no avail. Eventually, he asked another fellow employee and thankfully he knew where it was Once we were there, there was a few options to choose from. We decided to go for the best one as we needed something that was good. The thing was, the box was really beat up and it was obvious the box had been opened before as the packing tape on the outside was not the manufacturers packing tape. Since it was repackaged, we figured maybe the packaging broke while the stockers were putting it on the shelves. I was not going to open up thr box to check the contents as safes are very heavy. When we got to the register, we informed the cashier our concern that this may be a used product as it has been opened. She assured us it was new and that its fine and we could return it if we needed to. Once i lugged this heavy thing home, i was utterly frustrated as not only was i correct that it was used, it was also LOCKED. Furthermore, there is no instruction manual on how to open the thing. And of course, checking online for solutions, it says to refer to the manual for the mfg combination. I can for sure say i am taking this back. It has been a poor experience since the beginning, and now i have to make a trip back. I should've known better to make bigger purchases elsewhere. read more

This has to be one of the worst Walmart's to have to goto. Good location, but is always busy and customer service is not the greatest.

After several disappointing experiences at Walmart stores, including unfriendly, ungrateful and indifferent employees, I am finally calling it quits. And no, I am not, no mater how long they wait, thanking anyone for giving me a receipt after shopping at their store. No wonder their sales are suffering and they are expanding their online business. Take my advice Walmart, just call it quits on your storefront end! All you are is cheap and this alone does not make it worth my time. My last visit there was yesterday. There was only one line open with a line of three or four people in it, so I went to the self checkout area. I got halfway through scanning my items and one item needed associate approval. The help light went off and no one was in sight. I waited for a while and finally left everything where it was and went to the Target down the street. I found everything I needed, got 5% for using their card and was checked out immediately by a clerk. I have noticed this clerk there before and he is perhaps one of the friendliest, most upbeat employees I have ever seen at a retail store. The difference in customer service was like night vs day. I don't know if Walmart is keen enough to have people reading these reviews, but if they are, listen up. I am going to give you some advice from an advertising/public relations point of view. I have only had one bad experience at this Walmart. This lady watching the dressing rooms scolded me like I was a little kid and seemed shocked when I just threw all the stuff I was going to buy on the floor and left. So here is the tale is short....I wanted to get some new shirts for cheap. Hey Walmart has those. I went and after finding five shirts that I found exceptable I noticed they are now selling George Forman pants. Hey for a fat man that is like a cookie on a string. So i find some slacks and head to the fitting room. Well there is not one there to help me so I just went in the changing room and tried on the clothing. Well as I walk out this lady comes running up and tells me i have to have a card to try on clothing with the number of items on it. I tell her I had no idea but i was all done trying on the clothing. She tells me I should follow the rules in the future. Now she is not joking with me and I wanted to be cool about it so i just nodded and placed the pants and shirts on the counter. It could have been ten seconds in total they were there and the lady yells "Excused me you cant put your things on my reception area" It was not anything she said it was all how she said it. So I picked up the items and tossed the them in the isle and said "Well it just seems like they will get in the way over there." and i headed home. Sure she yelled I could not leave the items there but she was wrong because no one stopped me from going home. I actually like this Walmart though. That is one of about fifty people that have worked there that gave me a crap attitude. I did end up getting those same shirts and pants at the Walmart in Alpharette oddly enough. read more

My husband and I shop here frequently and have never had a problem. The store is always clean and seemingly fully stocked. The team members there have ALWAYS been more than friendly and helpful. Some of the comments I read are just plain silly as though they had nothing better to do than to find fault with this store. No business that employs thousands of employees will ever have a 100% perfect record when you consider all the different personalities involved, but it seems to me Walmart strives to find the friendliest people they can find. I'm going to need to either sanitize myself when I leave here or relish in the fact that I can drown my sorrows in a glass of wine next door at Marietta Diner. This place is filthy and everyone here on the night shift seems uninterested in actually working here. Uniforms are a mess and they all either need boot camp training to straighten up or lifetime supplies of Red Bull. The smaller Walmart closer to Windy Hill appears to be in better shape with happier employees. read more

The largest cleanest and nicest Walmart I have been to hands-down. It's still a Walmart, so I'm not sure if that saying much lol! But that even includes the fact that they were doing construction on part of the store, it was still better than most. I love the fact that it's open 24 hours, that's definitely super convenient. I will probably choose this Walmart over most now. read more

I went to Wal-Mart today to get one tire replaced. Just a normal procedure which does not usually take that long no matter where I go to, I figured I have to do some shopping so I will give Wal Mart my business today. To get a new tire it was going to cost me about $80 dollars around the price I am used to paying so okay cool put it on they tell me it will take around 30-45 minutes. So I went and did some shopping plus walking around to give them plenty of time to get it taken care of. Well I come back about 1 hour and 15 minutes later and my car was still sitting outside where I left it. I ended up waiting another hour and a half for it to get ready. Needless to say this will be the last time I use there auto center! read more

On 1/9/19 I purchased a computer video game for my child in the Walmart located 210 Cobb pkwy south. I returned home realizing later that the video game was not MAC compatible but Macintosh compatible. I returned to the Walmart customer service today 1/11/19 to return the item. I spoke to customer service who stated it cannot be returned or exchanged due to "store policy". The customer service cashier stated the sign was posted in the entertainment department. I returned to the entertainment department to see no signs posted and the cashiers stated there were no signs posted on that law and to return to customer service. I returned to customer service where the cashier then stated "oh no it's federal law". I contacted 1800walmart and spoke to customer service rep Dana who stated it is copyright law and to speak to the store manager Mr Mccurdy who might be able to help. Mr Mccurdy was not in today so I spoke to Assistant Manager Ashley, in which I explained this was my first time buying a video game and I mistakenly bought a Macintosh pc instead of a Mac game. I asked if may even exchange it or what can be done. Ashley was very rude in stating " that is common knowledge for the customer to know the return policy before buying such item and the store does not have to policy for you". How would I know that this is federal law if it's not made aware to me? She the stated "it's for the customer to do the research prior to buying the item". I was stunned by her response being that it was very belittling to ones intelligence and extremely uncalled for. Signs should always be posted for customers who do not know federal law. I was very polite and apologetic and obviously confused by the moral of the Walmart brand after speaking to this manager. Yes I know customers should look at the product they purchase but to degrade someone in front of other employees who made a purchase mistake is wrong! I have bought from Walmart before but after this incident and this one not being the first, I am not too confident or comfortable making purchases from Walmart again. Customers should be made aware not be told they are basically "stupid" in other words by someone who believes federal law is "common knowledge". Shame on Ashley for displaying this behavior and shame on you Walmart for the training you have provided this woman and condoning it. I went to this walmart to return an item. The customer service representatives were extremely apathetic. It took me 10 minutes to get up to the counter due to the two employees having a very unnecessary conversation about their personal lives. Absolutely no customer service skills at all here. Associates will walk right past you without as much as speaking. Attitudes are expected from the associates also. Man. This store is big. Really great selection for all. Typical Walmart store but you got more space to hang around. Definitely recommend to all. Also you have lot of shops nearby and ample amount of parking. Also you have subway as well inside the Walmart. Altogether it's a great store to shop and also you gonna get good selection as well. The photo section is so good that they have changed their old equipment and its eSy to take prints and the staffs are very helpful in any means. You will good collection of electronic items. Also the bakery is fresh here and I recommend to all. Last but not the least the vehicle parts and accessories seems to have good selection in this store. Good store and recommend to all ! read more

Man, I never thought that I would be give Walmart a 5 star review, but I had the most amazing customer service experience today at this store that I feel needs to be known! I am looking for a large quantity of a particular fabric and found a great price at Walmart, however it's only available in store. After being turned down at the Howell Mill store, I went down the road to this one. Ms Lisa is a part time associate that works in fabrics who went above and beyond to try to get me the fabric I needed. She even took me to two different managers to see if they could help. Unfortunately, they were unable to order it for me, but I appreciate the time and kindness I received from Ms. Lisa, Mr. Taz and the other associate who assisted me (I'm sorry I forgot your name!). I could tell Ms. Lisa was especially passionate about helping me get what I needed, since she worked as a professional seamstress for most her life. I will be skipping the Howell Mill store and driving the extra 4 miles to come to this store for my crafting needs from now on! read more

Giving this one a fairly low score just because of the number of poor experiences I've had here. I've bought items only to discover them broken inside the box. Customer service is a joke. Many of their employees are rude. In general they don't seem to care about the shopping experience of their customers. This past weekend was a bad one. I completed my shopping, and entered into one of the only two open lanes. Yes, they had the self-checkout lanes open, but when you have over $100 dollars in items, it is not feasible to use them. I stood behind the person who was being checked out for over 40 minutes. Both of the open lanes were backed up so badly that people were standing in the clothing section to get into line. The service people didn't even attempt to open another lane, despite being asked several times by myself and other customers if they could do so to alleviate some of the backlog of people standing in line. I always find it a tad ridiculous to have over 30 checkout lanes, and only have two of them open at any given time, especially when you have more than 10 people standing in one line. This Wal-Mart also seems to attract a more undesirable element of people. Most places in Marietta aren't so bad, but this parking lot generally makes you feel unsafe. From their warning signs posted all around telling you to lock your doors and protect your valuables, to the homeless people that are often found loitering around the entrance, or harassing you as you put your groceries in your car, begging for money. The only reason to go to this store at all is its central location, other than that, you may want to drive the extra couple of miles to another Wal-Mart. read more

Since I am a senior citizen & no longer drive, I take a taxi to do my pet, household & grocery shopping once a month. Had a buggy full & while unloading my purchases, the supervisor of cashiers - at least that is who I assume she was- came over to ask the lady checking me out if she could work over her scheduled quit time. There was no one behind me in the check out line so they ignored me completely. While I continued to unload my purchases onto the checkout belt another cashier came over, leaned against the counter & listened to their conversation never bagging for my checker or assisting in putting items on the checkout belt. Finally my cashier ceased checking me out altogether while she pulled her schedule out from under her counter so that she & this supervisor could continue their negotations on how long she would be willing to work over her scheduled quit time. Never once did it occur to any of these 3 women that I was the reason they even had a job to be scheduled for read more
