Oh, how I wish we had a Publix in Oklahoma! Since that's probably never going to happen, I make sure to enjoy it every chance I get when visiting Florida. Publix has an outstanding selection of just about everything you could be looking for. On this visit, we special-ordered a sub ring to take to a tailgate the next day, and I'm glad we followed their recommendations--it was absolutely perfect and a big hit the next morning. Lovely friendly people working every day to make each trip a little nicer. Love the Mojo chicken and then seasonal chai tea they had in the deli section. Cayleigh shouldn't be working in a customer facing role and I have serious concern about her being responsible for patient care in any way. Was surprised to see an RX after her name on the receipt given how she blatantly ignored concerns expressed by a mother about a minor patient's health. None of the other pharmacy employees stepped in to assist even though All of their their heads shot up from what they were doing when she raised her voice. Her doing so was unwarranted. I'd spoken 1 sentence and had not raised my voice. When I came back to pick up the prescription, she conducted herself like a child-not a medical professional who's responsible for any part in the process of dispensing medication. I had valid concern, the prescription is imperative to my daughter's ability to breathe... Cayleigh interrupting me every time I tried to speak showed how blasé she is about patients' safety & health. There's cause for concern for the safety of the patients she's responsible for. Taking our pharmacy business elsewhere. Since her abhorrent behavior was acceptable to everyone else on staff in the pharmacy this afternoon, I'm sure they're losing a lot more business. And those that leave will only be safer for it. read more

My review will be based solely on their doughnuts, Cheesecake and Chicken wings which are usually the main reasons we visit them. We have been purchasing their New York Cheesecake ever since we've had them a few years ago. So light, creamy and not too sweet! Their wings on the other hand are a staple of Publix! Everybody loves them and seem to be the main feature in every potluck lol! Crispy , tasty and budget friendly, what's not to love? :) And their donuts??!!! Shout out to Lana at the sandwich station for giving the worst customer experience two times in a row. I've never experienced someone so abrasive working at Publix in my entire life. I know Publix cares about this, which is why I mention it. I've gone out of my way to other Publix stores to get sandwiches after the first experience, even though this location is the closest to my home. It was getting late, so I decided to make my commute home shorter by going to this location. She was rude enough to roll her eyes in my face when I asked for a specific menu item that was tossed in sauce and comes with a specific cheese. New to the area means getting used to a new Publix, luckily the staff is friendly and helpful. Impeccably clean and good lighting, not sure how old this one is but it gives me a modern feel compared to some others in the area. They have 6 self Checkout stations for those who choose to do self checkout and ample lanes with cashiers. The bakery staff is super friendly and always accommodates my requests to purchase smaller amounts of baked goodies because how should I manage to eat an entire box of fresh cookies? They always open the box and provide half or the exact amount requested no fuss, no attitude. read more

This is my neighborhood Publix and it's a great store. The setup inside the store is a little different than other Publix stores I have been in, but once I figured that out I was good to go. The store is keep very clean inside and in front of the store. They have the essentials you need when grocery shopping; from fresh meats and product and dairy and bakery goods. And the deli here stays busy; so it's best to order your sandwich or sliced meats and cheese before going so you don't have to wait in line, just pick them up in the convenient pickup bin they have. And they have a pretty awesome pharmacy in the store as well. The staff here is always friendly from the cashiers, customer service, pharmacy, deli, bakery, etc. read more

We had a great experience with a staff member, he was so helpful and professional that my wife and I were astonished of how he was so caring to meet our needs. Jorden was a true pleasure and communicated with us patiently as we were trying to figure out which direction to go on a purchase. He was more than helpful offering suggestions and other options that he felt might be better for us which we chose to go with and enjoyed the outcomes. This was an experience we have never had with a Publix employee in the past and he is definitely a huge positive contribution. Publix is such a great place to shop, although this is a busy area, I never have to wait longer than 5 minutes in line to check out. All of the cashiers are super quick and friendly. They always greet us with a smile and make us feel welcomed here. I like stopping by to get groceries in the way home since it's right by the house. The produce is always fresh and plenty to choose from. They also have preseasoned pork, chicken and fish with veggies and ready to cook, which I think is very convenient for us busy moms. The prices for fresh shrimps and lobsters are pretty reasonable. I could get 2 lobsters tails for $18 or less depending on the season. I love that the employees always offer to carry my groceries to the car for me, it's such a kind gesture. read more

I wish this were my neighborhood store! However, it's about a mile from my office so it is incredibly convenient to pop in on my way to work or the on my way home. It's also easy to get to from 95 if your on the highway. The parking lot is a great size which is good because it can get a little busy. I have never had an issue finding a parking spot. The store usually has most of the deals from their flyers so I don't have to run to multiple stores to get what I want. The store is well stocked and if I want something that isn't on the shelf I can find someone to assist me. The service is great like most other Publix stores. The employees always offer to help you out and don't seem to hate their jobs. The store and parking lot are clean and roomy so overall I really do favor this Publix. I really don't find it much more expensive than Winn Dixie or Walmart and for the price, I would much rather go to Publix! read more

I really like Publix and I like how I feel their stores are always clean. The buy one get one deals are nice and I always check to see what's new with those. I am only giving them three stars for this location due to a recent incident there. Last week I was purchasing some yogurt and found three dated July 18. I brought them to the attention of someone near by. That person thanked me but gave me a stone face look and I thought that I saw that individual put them back in the case. Well, a week later and I'm picking up some more yogurts and I found two yogurts with the same dates that I had brought to their attention. I worked in the grocery industry at the beginning of my career and I had numerous occasions where finding something like this would cause me to check an entire section for expiration codes. She was able to administer my flu shot, pain free, was extremely friendly and helped me stay calm even with me being afraid of needles. Plus I walked away with a $10 gift card! This isn't my local Publix but it's always a clean store with a friendly staff when I need to grab a few things on the way home and I'm in that area. This time I got some great Bogo's and a perfectly made Cuban sub that I dropped off for my wife. This is a very good store and far superior to other grocery stores in the area. read more

This Publix is a little small but has an excellent deli with daily specials. I often go to the deli during my lunch break and the employees are always speedy and courteous. The only complain is the way the store is organized can be a little confusing. The cookies are combined with the baby aisle which is strange. Otherwise, very clean store! read more

Average. Parking is a pain, which I know in a way, Publix cannot completely control. But it still stinks. Some employees are very helpful and kind, some are just... there. One visit, we had someone offer to take our cart out to the parking lot, which worked out great. Until I got to my car and realized I didn't have my keys. They offered to check, and came back and said nope it wasn't there, and walked away. I couldn't get a hold of my husband, so I walked back in, since it was dark, and I didn't want to wait in the dark with two kids. As I walked back in, the cashier flagged me down and said "I found your keys! I don't know where she went, I was going to have her bring them to you. They are up at customer service now." I quickly retrieved them, and left. The store is clean, and well stocked. Stocked better than dare I say it? My local Publix. Which BTW, touts itself as the "largest Publix in SE Florida." Largest in space, smallest in selection, thank you very much. So while this one may only be average, I will say this one is better in that respect. read more

The employees have always been helpful- Bassam in deli has gone out of his way with spicy wings for my husband, Linda/Natasha at service are the best, the staff in deli Danny, Brittany and all the others ( ?names), the staff making fruit salads etc, I could go on - all AWESOME! I love Publix but the Bartram Park Publix is terrible. Always some sort of terrible customer service. There was five people behind the deli counter. One person was helping the someone and the other four are cleaning. 10 mins later I left because no one even said a word to me. And the entire time the one person working only slice a pound of cheese. Another time I went in the meat department MANAGER was annoyed at me because I asked for ground sirloin. This is my local Publix so it holds a special place in my heart. I come here weekly and I know where the stuff I want is, and it's a good experience. A few special notes: 1, This bakery is on point! The cakes, breads and the desserts here al always great. I don't think I've ever not enjoyed what I've gotten there. 2.The butchers are such nice dudes. They do a great job of keeping everything stocked, and if you need something special they are really nice about fixing something. 3. The deli people are so patient. I am the easiest customer they probably have as I'm not weird about how thin my turkey is and I don't bother them with sample requests (I work with the public too, and I don't need the bad karma.) But some of these customers are downright nutty with these requests, and they staff take it in stride where I'd be wanting to strangle them. ; ) Prices at Publix are usually pretty great. They have a good selection of BOGO items that cycle weekly and their app and e-mail is helpful, but I will say those don't come close to covering everything. As far as cleanliness and staff are concerned this place is great. Negatives: This place is BUSY on Sundays. If you can, go early then do it. NFL Sundays can be NUTS. read more

Love that we have a Publix near home to make a quick run if we need something. This location doesn't have the best or largest selection of produce, ethnic, and Greenwise/organic items though. Also, the parking lot is set up terribly. It's best to not park in the rows where the pedestrian crossing is during peak hours. read more

I have always received great service when I shop here. Even though it can be expensive to grocery shop at Publix, they do have great deals such as buy one get one free, buy two or three get one free, and more. Plus, they have Aprons cooking stations with all the ingredients set up so that it is easy to get for cooking the recipe. Well the prices are generally higher it is nice to go somewhere The meat is fresh the sushi is amazing and I know they will always have everything that I need and if I can't find some thing they take me directly to it. I absolutely love that they added finally self check out makes it such a breeze when I only have a few things and don't want to stand in line. Although if the lines get super long they tend to open up another register but they can't help how many items are in someone's cart. So the self check out really makes it a breeze. I look forward to Covid being over for so many reasons but also so that my daughter can get her free cookies, they can do rain checks again, and also start doing the special orders for the items that I'd like to purchase from there, it is not their fault we got the coronavirus so I don't blame him at all personally it's just some thing that among many others miss. this is a great store to go to though I would say it's the best in the area read more

I just moved to this area and this is my new Publix. This publix is much larger than the last one I lived in. It's also set up differently so I'm still getting used to that. I'm a big couponer and this publix is very coupon friendly and doesn't make me split my orders up when there is a deal for every $50 you spend. There was a cashier in the next aisle that my cashier was calling "the publix police" I wasn't really paying attention to what she was doing but he kept giving her the evil eye. This publix is really good at keeping the cashier lanes low. I have seen them open more lanes if they see the lines are getting really long. I worked in a grocery store that did that and I always thought that was great customer service. read more

Still a great grocery store, but on one occasion recently, the over-talkative and under competent cashier was cause for awkwardness followed by lolz. (this was at the Town Center location) We had gone in to buy a sympathy card for a friend whose loved one had passed away. The cashier looked at the card and the flowers and said cheerily, "Going to a party huh?!" My wife awkwardly mentioned that it was a sympathy card, which resulted in an incredibly awkward moment of unwieldy backpedaling. Once again, shutting up and efficiently ringing up my merchandise without talking to me about it would have been a more effective form of customer service. Really, it's enough to say, "Thanks, and come back to see us soon!" as I am walking away. OH! Just remembered this one...I went to Publix to buy a sandwich for a friend (Monument Rd. at McCormick location). First off, I know not to expect speed or efficiency when I order a sandwich (see my first review). But this time, the lady making my sandwich was stopped by her co-worker, who was visibly pissed that the first lady had sliced the meat on the cheese-designated slicer. They proceeded to argue about it for a good 30 seconds before I said, "Ladies, you can argue about which slicer to use after I leave, but right now I'm in a bit of a hurry, and I'd really like you to finish the sandwich so I can get out of here, please." read more

I just moved to Jacksonville last week from Phoenix, AZ. In the Phoenix area, we have roughly 6 different major supermarket chains to choose from. Here in Jacksonville, there only seems to be Publix. And Publix is EXPENSIVE! The stores are nice and bright. And the service is good. But boy do you pay a premium for it. Thankfully... for an extra 5 minutes of drive time we were able to find a Super Walmart. Unbelievable the difference in pricing. The convenience of shopping at Publix does NOT out weigh the extra cost involved in buying groceries. Forget it if you need household items like lightbulbs. read more

So my boyfriend and I spent a large part of our childhood's in Italy. Europeans shop differently. They don't make a giant list and stock up for 2 weeks of groceries at a time. You make frequently weekly trips to the market and buy what looks fresh and what's on sale. Since this is the method we subscribe to, our Publix associates all know us by name, haha. They'll even open a lane up for us if the lines are too long. Publix is great for produce, meat and sometimes seafood. It is more expensive than Walmart, but I'll gladly pay to not have to deal with the migraine inducing lighting and Walmart clientele. Shop the BOGOs and use the Whole food coupon. read more
