The store has pretty much everything you need, unfortunately I believe it's laid out in such a way that you literally are forced to have to walk from one corner of the store to the other to be able to get what you need. Maybe a means of trying to put his much other merchandise as possible between you and there to try to coax you into buying things. The worst thing is that there about 10 to 15 lanes available, but they only have one or two Open at any one time with at least seven or eight people in line at all times of the day. Went in today at 2pm (Sunday afternoon). Entire town of Monument was at Walmart. Self checkout was backed up to bakery. Only a few cashier lines were open. We had three items, went out to the garden center, and it was 20 customers deep. A few had a full cart of groceries - IN THE GARDEN CENTER. This location is horribly managed. There are more associates on the floor than on the 20 registers. This is a regular occurrence. You never see management on the floor. Associates are frustrated, and they are getting yelled at by customers. Management treats employees unfairly, especially teenagers who WANT TO WORK. They are unwilling to take requests for time off due to school or sports. They are unwilling to work the registers. They are unwilling to change the dynamic of operations. If you spend any time on the floor, pay attention to the associates talking to one another. They are tired. Management is not working hard enough to take care of their associates. Bottom line... it effects customers. read more

Great Store! But this is about their new Online Grocery Shopping and Pickup. OMG! What a timesaver. So good. Especially at this time of the year when long lines are going to be standard for wherever we go to shop. Worried about the freshness of the items they pick for you? I worked at Walmart many years ago and we put the freshest items on the bottom or up high so the more current dates were chosen first. Not done at all when you shop with this online ordering service. Only the freshest dates are chosen. But what if there are items in the store not listed on the online order inventory? Does not happen. Simply type in the item in the Search area and up it pops. But what do I pay for this service? NOTHING. Just order at least $30 and it's free. What a great deal. What if they don't have the item I want? First, they call and tell you and then they offer you a better replacement that costs more money at the same price as the one they didn't have. Any problem with that? Customer service at this Walmart is off the charts! Use this service. You will fall in love with it and save lots of time, that is going to be precious at this time of the year. read more

We come to this Walmart often for items that we may need during the week...bread, milk, etc. the store is always clean and well organized. We always find what we need. If we can't find what we need we ask a clerk. This Walmart is also close to our house. We will certainly always be back. read more

This Walmart sucks. They were pretty much out off all the grosserys we came for, (hot pockets, cookies,ice cream, soda, etc) and things were also broken (the yogurts). Then we basically had to fight to get an item marked down a lower price BECAUSE THEY WERE OUT OF THE ITEM. The old man cashier didn't understand the best practices when it comes to RUNNING OUT OF YOUR ITEMS. The manager gave it to us but the old man was mad. For WHATTT? This Walmart is so poorly managed. I have never seen a store that has so many empty shelves, lack of products, no produce, incompetent employees, understaffed and mismanaged. I have contacted the corporate office 3 times and lodged a complaint, but clearly nothing has been done. I am now forced to shop at Safeway and pay union prices in order to get items that I need. This Walmart lacks even the basics. Last Friday, there was not ONE carton of eggs, no garlic, no potatoes, no bananas, and many empty shelves. It has now become a joke within my family and we call it the "busted" Walmart. All problems such as this boil down to one person: the manager. read more

I came here late at night and really had no complaints. The wal mart was pretty clean and well organized. No one asked if we needed help, but that wasn't a huge deal to me and my girlfriend. And also I feel like I don't need to carry in the parking lot. I don't feel like any wal mart will be robbed, but you never know about their parking lots. read more

EVERY single time I am in there, I have to wait in line for 15+ minutes. And customer service is horrible. I waited in line for a return for 21 minutes while there were two other employees standing around register 14 talking. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the store and customer service. You expect the same thing from one Walmart to another but this store really did outshine the others. The only issue was the smelly bathroom and the lack of inventory in the technology department. Many of the racks were very sparse if present at all. The store itself is fine but seems understaffed and always, always automotive is a disaster. Hardly ever have inventory for keys and usually wait 15-20 minutes at least to drop off car for an oil change. 3 staff actually here now at automotive including a manager and supervisor and the line hasn't moved. People have left angry after standing here 20 minutes. Time to find a new place to service my car. read more

This walmart at night especially barely has any registers open and I'm talking 9-10pm at night. You'd be lucky to see 3 cashiers there out of like 12-15 checkout stands. Wal-Mart needs to Hire more people or part time people because this shit is getting ridiculous. Very poorly managed store, out of stocks here are unreal and no one really cares. Half the management is young and under educated. Employees in electronics no nothing long with automotive, but hey that's the new walmart we still go to. Only plus is its the nicest store in the Springs and mostly quiet. read more

This specific location has a serious lack of customer service, inventory keeping and training. It's an obvious failure of leadership and the management should be told to shape up or ship out! There is no cross training happening either, as we were recently informed the only person familiar with the ordering system at the bakery was at lunch and it was a real pain in the rear to get a Birthday order placed. In another instance nobody was able to access the system after the "pick up person" left for the day to see if an item I had placed an order for pick up for the previous day was in stock, as I never received a pick up update. I have placed several orders online for pick up lately as items showed available at this location and all were time sensitive, only to receive an email later on that pick up would have to be delayed as the item was in fact not actually in stock. Keeping correct inventory should be second nature in a business like this. read more

They make it impossible to checkout. One check stand open and self check that malfunctions every other item. The attendant had nothing to do and was not even observing the self checkout until I was forced to remove over half of my order to continue checking out. The assistant manager informed me to use another checkout which I had previously, only to have no less than three customers force in front of me in line that was already stretched to the clothing department. They like other stores I will no longer shop seem to believe that by selling essential items makes them essential as well. There are other stores within a few miles and would recommend choosing anywhere else. The disrespect and rudeness of employees including management make this nearly as bad as king sippers! read more

Customer service and bathroom cleanliness has declined rapidly in the past few months. At any given hour or day, there are only a handful of checkers open anymore. It seems as though they are expecting more customers to use self check out and that's not going to happen. I would rather change my grocery shopping to another store. Very disappointed. Used to think we had the nicest and cleanest Walmart around, but not anymore. When a customer sees more employees standing around talking and fewer and fewer checkers open, it's extremely frustrating. read more
