Needed some photos copied, in the electronics dept. Of the 3 computers, only one was working and someone had broken a piece of a memory stick off, into the slot. One of the elecetronics employees worked, using all kinds of little pieces of things to get that usb slot freed of whatever was broken and stuck in it. He fixed it and I was able to print photos. Unfortunately, many of them weren't printed right, so I had to return to get them reprinted. An employee, Gael, helped me. He edited several photos and reprinted them for me, then helped me select a security camera. Super helpful and a true asset to the store and electronics dept. Gael is very young but, I see a great future in whatever he does. Kudos to him. I want to add that, I have never had an issue with returning any item here. Any employee that's helped me during a return has been really kind and respectful. ( wish I could remember the lady that helped me the last time I was there for a return. She was great!) Working in returns can be pretty unpleasant but, I have never been treated poorly there. read more

This is for the Walmart+ grocery delivery. I tried the delivery service due to having back surgery. At this time I am unable to drive or bend over. On two deliveries I left delivery instructions to leave my order on the front porch swing due to my back. In both instances, they left my order on the ground, ignoring the instructions. In calling the store, I've spoken to the Grocery Pickup/Delivery Manager on both occasions. Last week, I was informed the driver did not speak English so he wasn't able to read the instructions. They had to find someone who speaks Spanish, call the driver and have him come back and move everything. This week, the same thing happened. I called the same manager again. This time, I'm informed that the delivery drivers do NOT work for Walmart. They hire a 3rd party delivery company to handle the grocery deliveries. Nothing he can do. If you walk in for something as simple as an oil change without an appointment, expect to waste your entire morning--and there's still a chance they'll skip over your car. I have lived in New Port Richey for 25 years and have seen it all. This Walmart Supercenter is good for what it is. I go during non-peak hours. I also pay for their WalMart + and In Home delivery service so that I can have items delivered to me via shipping and delivery. The $98 plus $40 per year is worth it to me. I don't have to drive to the store and go in. They do it for you. If you don't want to pay the extra $138 per year for the service, you can order with their app or online at their website for pickup (in one of the designated stalls in their parking lot.) They do not charge an extra service fee for pick-up orders with their app or items ordered and paid for online. That way you do not have to battle the crowds or lines. If you have an issue you can report an issue using their app. Once I ordered a curtain rod that was missing a piece. They refunded the money and sent a replacement. Be careful with the self-checkout lines. I never use the self-checkout lines. It may save time on the front end but not later. Some people in other stores throughout the U.S. have been wrongfully accused of stealing after using self-checkout lines. They ended up having to pay to fight to defend themselves and their record. Be careful in the parking lot. Be aware of your surroundings. read more

Was just in this Walmart. The check stand computer went down and checker who was so totally tweaking took me to the self checkout area where the scan and go is for employees near the salon. She was scanning and throwing all my groceries in a big pile in my cart over and over. No bags just Cans on top of tomatos, shoving her hand inside the cereal boxes and starting over again so nearly every item was eventually scanned multiple times and then aggressively thrown back into the pile. I don't think anybody ever loves going to walmart, but have to say that when every other Supermarket is raising their prices through the roof Walmart stays true to form and continues to offer great value. I guess the strawberries keep me coming back here, they've got big juicy delicious strawberries when nobody else has anything like it. The parking can be a little treacherous, but at least they have a lot of self checkout counters that get you in and out pretty quick. Overall not a bad experience especially for Walmart. read more

I'm not a fan of going to Walmart too much and this morning's trip confirmed it. We took the car in for an oil change since we are past the mileage. I normally do it myself due to cost ($20ish). Today they said $32, for one time we can do that. BUT....we came back and they said, for high mileage its extra, ALSO, since we didn't have that oil we had to get it off the shelf, that extra cost is YOURS! So, $32 turned into $47! Initially they said $65 but the technician inputted oil 2X. Exactly why I do it myself! There's no, well, we did an inspection and you need X, Y,, Z... We also asked them to inspect our ture for a nail since our check tire light came on. NOPE. they only filled the tire with air, no inspection. I do my best to stay away from Wal-Mart. Hold on, there is no shame in my game, I just value my time. Shopping for a few go to items should not take over an hour to park, grab items, pay & leave. THAT IS MY PROBLEM WITH WAL-MART. Recently there have been no fresh strawberries to be found, except at Wal-Mart. I drive a bit further as this Wal-Mart appears easier to access. I can usually park, grab strawberries, self checkout & be on my way in about 20 minutes. That's something I can live with & is worth it for fresh berries out of season. What's a girl to do? Why? Why not do this at three in the morning when there's nobody here. They also do this at 5 o'clock on a Friday. Stocking shelves with pallets blocking isles and customers. And the employees are extremely rude. They never say sorry or excuse me. Actually act like you are inconveniencing them by you know, shopping. Is a huge pallet blocking the kitty litter and toilet paper. People have to single file get to where they're going because this is obviously more important than the customers. What happened to this place? Selections have dwindled over the years and so have the employees. I used to go in to shop then at the checkout I would always see the same smiling employees. Now I go in and they make you check yourself out with no additional discount for being forced to work there for free! Slave labor, they are making the customers check themselves out for the same priced items. I was told there would always be a couple manned cashiers and I could stand in line for them to check me out. I went one evening and no one was at the manned checkout lines. Someone monitoring the self checkout told me no cashiers in the evenings. I see many mom and pop stores popping up again. That is the good news and there is where I will be shopping more from now on. They do not force me to be a slave labor cashier. read more

The layout in this Walmart Supercenter is just slightly different than the layout in the Supercenter that I regularly shopping. it leads to a little bit of confusion while shopping but, if that's my only complaint then it's all good. Walmart is Walmart is Walmart. They're all the same when it comes to a true definition. They sell affordable things at truly affordable prices. They are a more than fully stocked grocery store and yes from time to time they are out of my favorite item... Something that I can Overlook due to the sheer variety of what they have to offer. I could go on and on about the size of their parking lot and the fact that they have the little electric scooters.... I could explain that they also have the half size shopping carts and at some locations they have hand baskets. but that would be like me needing to describe everything that they have in the store... So, just in case you've never been to a Walmart store before, they have a pharmacy and an area for toiletries and beauty products... There is an area that sells garden supplies, pet supplies, and things for around the home such as paint, carpeting, wall art, and all kinds of appliances... If you need plumbing supplies, you're in luck... They have that plus an aisle full of tools... They sell Fabrics at many of the locations. they have a fully stocked toy department and also an area for sports equipment. Many have a Walmart automotive department where you can actually have your car serviced... They have clothing for just about everybody and for all types of instances from having to get dressed up to casual clothes for around the house. They have a large arts and crafts area as well as a huge shoe department. If you're going to travel they have a nice variety of luggage and if you bare staying home their electronics department can ensure that you can sit and enjoy movies, music and video games... Then when it gets to groceries, don't think you'll be disappointed. Although they've done away with the seafood market at the Wal-Mart's that I frequent, they still have a deli and a bakery, which I utilized often. That is about it. Be careful when you purchase any Meat at this Walmart. I double check dates and how fresh everything is no matter what I buy and still got sick Once for buying a rotisserie cooked and ready to eat Looked fresh out for the day and got food poisoning from eating it. The second time I bought lunch meat and date was good for a while and upon opening the lunch meat there was mold. I want to say that for the lunch meat it most likely was not stored right for that to happen. For the rotisserie I think it had to have been mishandled. (Maybe left out ) or cross contamination. One of my worst shopping experiences in recent memory. I am no fan of Walmart to begin with, but was in a rush and needed to pick up a few things. So of course I was got stuck in the slowest ever "speedy checkout" aisle. Walmart 's groceries are a lot more expensive than Aldi and Save-a-lot, and of much lower quality than Aldi's The stores are less convenient than Dollar Tree and Family Dollar. The atmosphere is of a large warehouse and relatively unpleasant, with cutomers and workers that just don't seem to have a lot of joy in being there. And Walmart is known for skimping on worker pay and benefits. I am starting to understand why they are getting their butts kicked by the competition. Most of the checkout aisles were closed. Their selection is fairly limited for electronics, especially compared to what's offered at the remaining Best Buy and online. But they do stock a wide variety of items across categories. And on a positive note, Spencer in electronics was very helpful and enthusiastic. read more

Do I even have to give them one star?! They deserve negative stars! I recently moved to the area, and I put in an order online at Walmart.com that was supposed to be ready the next day at this Walmart. The next day only some of the items were ready. Then I kept receiving notices that my pick up order was delayed. Finally an item here and there became available.... Because apparently I have time to run back-and-forth from home to the Walmart to pick up single items one at a time in a 27 item order! I did show up to pick up a few items a few days later, and also to ask the employees at the pick up area (which is inconveniently located in the back of the store), Why there is a delay with items that should've been available the day after I ordered them?? He told me that all items are in the store, because I could walk to the shelves and get them myself, but that they just don't have enough staff to pick/pull them to get my order ready. So this is interesting, I waste an hour going through the store to pick the items up myself, and I find three sluggish Walmart employees standing in the back chatting and laughing with each other hiding by the dog food. And while I'm walking around, all of the items I had ordered are on the shelves! And then I proceed to see several more employees hiding in various aisles, texting on their phones, etc. No wonder they don't have employees to pick the items, they are all busy hiding! I also could have had the items shipped to my home for free since I ordered on Walmart.com! But since the online order system told me I could pick everything up the next day, I figured I would save Walmart the shipping costs. Big mistake! From now on I will let them eat the freaking shipping costs and then I know it will be shipped and delivered to my home on time. And after I gathered all of the items that should have been ready for pick up by walking through the aisles myself for an hour, some of the items were higher price then they were online, so I asked the very slow check out person if he could match the online pricing, since that's the price I was supposed to pay. And of course he said he was not able to do that. So this whole fiasco cost me a lot more in time, money, and frustration! This Walmart is also extremely disorganized... The layout and arrangement of items does not make any sense and is not in line with other Walmart stores. There are often lots of out of stock items, which I saw again on this particular day in Walmart in the soda aisle, overhearing other customers complaining to an employee about so much soda pop being out of stock. And while I was walking around the store having to pick out the items myself, I called the store and ask for a manager, the snotty girl answering asked me what it was about, and I said, "your stores in ability to fulfill online orders in a timely fashion." - Then I was promptly put on hold and left there, and no manager or anyone came back on the line. This Walmart definitely deserves an honorary mention on the "people of Walmart" site, because the management certainly fits in with those type of folks. read more

I am disabled so I use the delivery service, I always make sure I give the driver a to and a good rating. I guess they got sick of my money because today, I received the worst service ever!! My delivery order is missing 13 items!! I can see one maybe, but they have always been very good work my orders. So while I'm trying to figure out what happened, and several chatty communications with customer service, I get another text that one thing that they were going to deliver this evening was attempted, but not deliverable and returned to the store??!! What??!! I had been waiting for 2 days for that. I was here. Is this April fools Day in August see or what? Am I in the Twilight zone? Or wait, maybe I'm still asleep on the couch dreaming that total incompetence was being done by Walmart associates to a woman who has always been polite, patient and had shopped at Walmart for over 50 years. One waved a vague hand toward housewares, where there were only meat thermometers. Two of them actually bleated, "I don't know anything, they just give me a cart full of stuff and tell me to put it on the shelves." (So how do you decide what shelf the stuff goes on?) I placed an order for 1 hour pick up for 120 pictures. The store told me they can't do anything since the system is down. Meanwhile the website took my money. So I called for a price adjustment since I can't get the product like the website said. They when passed me around for 1.5 hours and in the end they told me all they can do is refund my money and cancel my order. Not sure why they couldn't tell me this in the first place and save my time. I was told by the store they can do a price adjustment if I call the number on the website. This all started with the store at 9:20 am and got nothing done by 11:50 so they canceled my order. Never using Walmart for pictures again! I only needed a few things, one of which was the new Star Wars blu-ray because I'm the only person who hasn't seen it yet. As a bonus I neglected to wear a belt, which sucks when you're carrying a basket of crap around. It was after 8 on a Sunday night-I figured I'd be in and out. But when there's only 5 of 22 checkout lanes open, it creates unnecessary long lines and everyone has a full shopping cart. Even the self-checkout lines were crazy long. I Went to get my glasses and the lady helping me was so helpful! It was so refreshing NOT to have to wade through the many upsells I usually do when trying to simply purchase a pair of glasses that I wish wasn't having to buy, in the first place!! ALSO, she informed me that the Dr. At the LandoLakes Walmart optical center that did my exam has been writing that my script is only good for a year. 1 YEAR!! ONE 365 day period!!! When my script is really not that bad! The usual is 5 years FIVE YEARS. I've been buying new glasses and new exam whenever my glasses broke or got lost ( which unfortunately is quite often) because I THOUGHT I HAD TO, and I just thought it was another scam they've come up with to try to get more mo eye out of me. Which it IS, BUT Maria let me know it's the Dr's call and not a new law which I was led to believe!!! SO... If you need an eye exam,go to Dr Pappas at this Walmart Optical because he writes the prescription to be good for 5YEARS!!! Debbie the lady that works in the Labcorp is extremely rude. She never acknowledge the fact that we were even in the room we thought that we were invisible and then when it was time for her to see us she said who is this instead of just pronouncing the last name of the patient like most professionals would do. She was happy to tell us that she wasn't going to serve us and sent us on our way she stated that some place was closed that she needed to get information from and it's before 4 in the afternoon so I'm quite sure whoever she needed to call was still available. My daughter was getting a test for lupus and I think that's very important but obviously not to her. I will never visit a LabCorp again I will ask for an insurance change just to make sure I won't have this experience again. read more

Grocery department is terrible. Prices are not great. The baked goods were stale as the fruit was inedible. They don't have simple things like frozen spinach and what they do ha e is often hard to find. okay I get it there is a lot of theft in this store and now I can see why with all these apartments going up in this area and people coming from the south its really changed . but what I dont get is having all these locked cases and for a 10.00 dollar car antenna adapter had to call a store clerk to open it up not good there has to be another way to stop these crooks and not punish good people for there actions. I have a suggestion more cameras in high theft isles, and the only job they will do is watch these cameras to stop these people at the exit . the next thing you can do is close the doors at 12:00 am does not need to be open 24 hours . besides this this is a great store friendly employees etc . but again dont punish your good shoppers for these people read more
