Upon my walmart adventure I witnessed a dog pee on the floor.. then maintenance talking almost over an hour to come clean it up.. then the heart wreath that was on sale I tried to purchase (it was advertised at $4.00) rang up at 14.00 .. then staff treated me like I was some thief trying to catch a deal but ALL the same items were stocked on this rack that literally says the sale price.. I spoke to a manager about it who was literally sipping a slurpee during work and appeared to not even be "working".. about this and she said she doesn't work that department of who stocks the wreaths so she can't help either?? Uh maybe you should learn who your employees are and properly train them.. in most states if an item is listed as a certain price you legally have to SELL it for that. read more

We are on vacation & thankfully the Walmart NOT SO super centers are open 'till late and yet, customer service, (you know, the place that begrudgingly fixes of all the times things ring up wrong) closes at 6 o'clock at night. 6 O'CLOCK!!! So in other words, you can purchase their crap, but you can't return it, or have an all-too-common price mistake fixed. We are flying out first thing in the morning for Christmas & now we have to deal with this even earlier in the morning, because after driving to both Walmarts in the area, neither could help us with an adjustment & neither were polite about it, either. I realize that theft must be a real problem. But as a paying customer I should not have to be treated like a thief because of it. Between various odds and ends being locked up and the cosmetics section not allowing carts or any merchandise to be taken to the outer registers without being locked up in a locked plastic container, my trips to Walmart are getting rarer and rarer. Half of the regular self check outs are broken at any given time necessitating waiting in lines that they have purposely made more difficult to get in to with straps and posts that "guide" the customer along an arbitrary path determined by someone with control issues! This Walmart has a bad problem announcing that the store is closed over the PA 15 minutes before closing and makes an announcement for all available employees to check for customers in the store. This has become a problem for some of the bad attitude, lazy employees that try to close early to get out of work earlier. Time for a corporate call I suppose. read more

AGAIN! My husband went to pickup an order by using the app. Entered the parking spot # and car color. Waited THIRTY MINUTES (30 minutes) and still no order. (Last time I used order pickup I waited 20 minutes, but later got a call from the manager who apologized and asked me to give it another try. Silly me.) This is by far the worst WalMart I've ever visited. Stopped by here our first night in Palm Springs, and was disappointed almost immediately. They were out of stock on several basic items (Milk, Coke, Bread). I must've passed 15 employees, not a single one greeted me the entire time I was in this place. After not having stepped foot in years I decided to give the vision center a shot for glasses. What a terrible experience. At first everything was great - the staff was nice and seemed knowledgeable - but things went downhill quickly. The first set of lenses were made incorrectly, the second set of lenses were improperly fitted to the frames, and after a vision center employee took the frames somewhere else to be "adjusted" they ended up so badly bent that they no longer fit my face. To add insult to injury, I was told I would have to return when a manager was on duty to get a refund. Well that day was today and guess what - they were unable to refund my credit card and forced me to take a refund in cash. All in I went to the store TEN times over a 6 week period and I still do not have new glasses. My insurance company also claims that a refund wasn't issued and they are refusing to pay for another pair of glasses because I only get one pair covered per year. This is absolutely unacceptable. NEVER will I step foot in a Wal Mart again!!! read more

Walmart is scamming people with their pickup service. Check your receipts! I just received my order of 19 items in 4 plastic bags and was charged $1.20 for the bags. That's 30 cents a bag!! WTF!? This is not the first time this has happened to me either. I called the number on the placard to ask them to reverse the charge and they told me that I'm not going to like their answer, but there's nothing they can do. Really? I wonder how much they have been pocketing ripping people off this way? 10 cents adds up quickly when you potentially do it to hundreds of people. Today is the day that I am officially done with Walmart stores and walmart.com. The customer service is so completely lacking! If you order anything online and return it to the store you cannot be guaranteed that they will handle it for you or that your item will be returned to the third party seller. Not to mention, you don't instantly gets refund! It has to be received by the seller first. I contacted the third-party seller three times and they seem to not have any record of an order and have not received the return. Of course, they sounded foreign and didn't make much sense because they're communication was horrible. Never buy a mattress online with Walmart! Especially from a third party seller in China. The third-party told me that it was Walmart's responsibility breccia it was fulfilled by Walmart so they should give me the refund. I called walmart.com customer service and they said they would call the store to verify that the store did receive my mattress and then they will refund me. But you can never get anyone to answer the phone at the damn store! Lesson learned. I'd rather spend a little more money elsewhere that provides great customer service then save a few bucks with Walmart and get treated like a moron. Prepare for a fight with the customer service desk and with the toll free number. Never again. I'm not that desperate. Came in to buy one bottle of Vodka for a special drink. Had to wait for someone to unlock cabinet. Then they have to walk it to front register. Came with a friend to return an item. There were about 10 people in line ahead of us and only one person working customer service. There were plenty of employees milling about but they were not trained in returns. The one worker called for help but no one came. Extremely rude and unprofessional staff. I was attempting to cash a check and was told I needed to return with something with my mailing address on it ( which I was later told isn't even necessary or a part of their policy). one supervisor/ manager named Rene was very nice and polite, and told my mother they were happy to help me to cash the check. When I got to the counter I was then told I needed to return, so I drove 30 minutes home and back to get that a piece of mail with my name and address, as the form of government issued ID I had with me didn't list my address so I assumed they were just following policy. When I returned I said to the woman named NOEMI at the counter that I had what I was told I needed, she just told me 'no we already said we weren't doing it' and I responded that I was told it wouldn't be a problem by Rene, and told by the woman who was there 30 minutes prior that I just needed something with my address as well as my government photo ID. With out responding to me she started yelling at the top of her lungs ALMA, who was the supervisor I'm assuming she knew would just follow along with whatever she was saying. Another man asked her if she could use a radio because she was yelling so loud. The lady she called Alma, then said well you were already refused service and I can't overrule that if she's refusing. I was never told before that I was being refused service, just that I needed to return with a piece of mail. I asked why I was told that and at what point I was ever refused service, Alma said that she didn't know where that lady was who was able to help me or that she must have left. And there for there was no one that could help me. I don't see how that makes sense, and for what reason I was being refused service when literally I spoke one sentence to this lady, and it was literally saying 'hi there, I was told I needed this, and I have it now, will you please help me cash this check'. She also refused to allow me to speak with her manager or Rene who had been very helpful. I just asked for their names and corporate number and said thank you. She told me I could find the number on a receipt, when I said I didn't have one she just said well it's 1 800 Walmart you can look it up. When I asked for their names, she wouldn't take her clipboard away from her name tag and the other woman told me her name was Naomi, which is close, but that was not her name. I don't know if this woman had a personal issue with my mother who spoke to her longer and was also nothing but polite, but either way that has nothing to do with me or her doing her job. I'm really appalled Walmart has such low standards of customer service that they will hire people that clearly just are unhappy with helping people. Filthy filthy bathrooms. I mean I get it's a busy store but holy cow.. 3 employees talking in the isle of the clothes department and I ask one if they carry children's dance unitards. She tells me they don't but if they do it would be on the clearance rack. I spend 10 minutes trying to find something in the mess of clearance items to find nothing, only to go to leave and pass by a HUGE display of dance unitards (that they do in fact carry year round). SHE couldn't have been ruder. Wouldn't even come down the aisle I was in to help me, just stood at the end and barked at me with an attitude like she couldn't be bothered. When I asked if she would come down the aisle so that I could explain what I needed help with, she said "I can hear you from here"....RUDE AS CAN BE...AND HAS NO BUSINESS DEALING WITH THE PUBLIC....from now on I'll ONLY go in this store if it's absolutely necessary...disgusting employee that's for sure! read more

Today I went in there to buy backpacks for my church and they were so expensive but I came upon 5 backpacks that were priced .50 so I put them in my basket and there was a manager right there named Gavin. I asked him why these are priced so low he said that's not the right price. I said but you have to sell them to me at that price right? Isn't that a California law. He said no way. I would not recommend pick up from this location. I sat in their parking lot for an hour waiting to pick up my order. The first time I called, I was told, "well, 20 people showed up at the same time. So." After waiting another 30 minutes, I tried to call again, but Couldn't get through on the phone, so I couldn't even cancel the order. That definitely needs to be addressed. I get that more people are using pick up because of Covid, but they are scheduling pick ups, so this should not happen. I have also had this location cancel two of my orders due to understaffing. Fine, but the second time they canceled within 40 minutes of my pick up time. I had already left home. In the future, I'm sticking to with target. They have this process way more ironed out. read more

The associate went into the back storage room and cane back and told us they were clean out and they expect a delivery the next day. Yesterday the 1-2pm promised pick up time was not ready at anytime. Today with a different order, the promised time was 2-3 pm. Not ready at 4:30. Called, spoke to Danny, Assistant Mgr, he promised call back inside an hour. No call back as of now 6:38 pm. Called him, was diverted to leave a message and that mailbox was full. Ok I know it's Walmart and my expectations shouldn't be too high, but I went there yesterday and an employee (who was wearing gloves) refused to bad my groceries because it was "company policy not to bag groceries when you bring your own bags." FIRST OF ALL, you're wearing PPE gloves!! Which does nothing to prevent the spread of COVID-19, btw, but they ARE protecting you from my "reusable bags germs" so how about you just do your job. Walmart obviously has a lot of theft problems so they lock up all of their alcohol and their Nicorette gum products. This might cut down on theft, but it is impossible to get someone to unlock those products. If you are lucky enough to find a clerk, they won't have the key. When they call for someone with a key, no one comes. I waited 25 minutes with three calls for a key and then gave up. Either don't sell those products or put a sign on the door saying this door will never be unlocked. I bought a lot of other things because I was there for one of the locked up products. Before 11pm closing time at this pathetic store, these Lazy poor excuses of employees SHUT DOWN ALL THE SELF SERVE CHECK OUTS! Then they direct you to 2 person employee check outs, then they close down so One Of the two... so you're in one lane of 10 people with over flowing baskets! I was behind an elderly lady with a 500 item basket so full it would take an hour to check her out... I asked to be taken in the closed line since I only had 5 items... eggs, butter, ICE CREAM, 2 frozen dinners....But was shouted back to the impossibly crowded lane... I WALKED OUT LEAVING THE GROCERIES in the cart... they are too lazy to keep 2 lanes open... so ENJOY yourself putting away my groceries!!! That will take more time than just getting me though quickly. Albertsons stays open until 11 pm too... but they open a resister if there are a lot of people ... and keep at least one self checkup open at 11 pm! THIS WALMART SUCKS!!! read more
