Worst Walmart around. Went there today to find something, said it was in stock but when we got there, all of the shelves were a mess and not stocked what so ever. We walked around the entire store 4 times and couldn't find a single worker. Found a person wearing a Walmart shirt and asked if he could ask us, told us he was off of the clock and walked away. Went to the registers and the lady told us her lane was closed before I could even talk. Asked for help and told her that there was no workers. She looked at her phone and said if we go over there someone would help. Went back to the department that we were needing help at, and no one was there. After 15 minutes we finally found another worker just talking to the guy who was "off of the clock" asked for help. She just told us the isle it was on. I tried to explain that we have been looking in that isle and it's not there but online it shows it was in stock. She then called Anna over the intercom, waited for 10 minutes. No one came. The lady that was "helping" us just went back talking to the "off the clock" worker. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Don't keep a store open if you don't have workers that do their job, and that don't have common sense when it comes to customer service. read more

I really do like this Walmart and its location. I mean, you've got one-stop shopping combined with all the crafts you could want (Hobby Lobby), home improvement gear (Lowe's), and food (Cafe Rio, Starbucks, etc.). This Walmart is generally clean and orderly and stocks enough checkers to keep the lines moving. As most Walmarts in Utah, it can get a little crazy late Saturday night, so plan ahead (or don't plan ahead and plan to wait a bit in line). I would have given it five stars but I swear I can never find what I need when looking for something in the housewares area. For some reason it's not organized like my brain wants it to be organized (like so many aspects of my life). read more

This is where I do 90% of my grocery shopping. It's a nice, well-kept Walmart. I love it because the groceries are usually pretty well priced and if they aren't, they will price match any competitor. A couple times I've gone they have automatically marked the prices down (on produce) to match a cheaper competitor listing without me even asking. The checkers are all very nice. Very talkative. Slows the line down a little but at least they're pleasant. Their produce is usually ok. Not always top notch. The best place to probably get produce is Spouts. But I like that this is a tad closer to home and more convenient if I need other items for the kitchen, bathroom or any other need. So far, the best selection of avocados has come from this Walmart. I've gotten avocados from other grocery stores and they're never as good after ripening. That's my grocery review in a nutshell. read more

Particularly for their tire/automotive center. The first time I came to their tire center, they said they could get the tires I needed put on. "We will call you when it's done in about 45 minutes" 45 minutes later, I received a call that they did not have the tires in stock, they needed to put my tires back on my car, and they couldn't get the tires for two days. That was a waste of an hour of time off. The next time I came to their auto service center was to have a car key reproduced. The key did not have a chip in it like modern cars so it's all about making the key. I entered my info at the key kiosk when you enter the store. It gave me a receipt with key info to take to the auto service area. After waiting for 15 minutes to talk to someone at the auto section (I saw the man who usually works in the auto section chatting with a lady stocking shelves near the car audio display), I was told that their machine can not create a copy of my key because my key is double sided. I asked if another store could do this or if they could point me in the right direction. I was told "I don't know" to both, then the employee started talking to another customer. Very helpful.. Not only is customer service bad on the phone but last week I couldn't find what I needed at the store so I asked an employee where it was and she promptly said, "I don't know" and went back to stocking. Place is cleaner than many walmarts I've been to but in keeping with walmarts tradition for instore pick up , they are terrible . I had at least 5 people walk right by me without asking if I needed help . These employees have the some one else will take care of it attitude . Just called this store to check on the availability of an item listed on their website, but wanted to pick up today. I was repeatedly told by the woman I spoke to that she needed a UPC code to help me out. Funny though, how this was the second Walmart I have called today and the first one didn't need it. I went here to the Quarry Bend, Walmart pick up, to pick up groceries that i ordered online. I was sitting there for over a hour waiting. I told a girl that was bringing groceries, to other cars, that i was there, and waiting for my order, I said it very nicely to her, and a hour later, I still did not receive my groceries in the trunk of my car. These girls that worked in the pick up area, and mind you, there was four girls working, and they just flat out, kept ignoring me, acting like i wasn't there! And all these people pulling up in their cars, were getting their groceries, I canceled my order on my phone and left! I could not believe, they looked at my face, as they walked by my car, and would not help me! They need to rehire new people in the pick up area, instead of young girls, that will act like you are invisible. Very unprofessional staff at this Walmart! The pick up area, also ignores phone calls! I am now shopping at a different Walmart, for the way i was treated. I even gave the one of the girls my name, still no groceries. Seriously, there job is soooo easy! Pick up is supposed to make customers lives easier, but it was the opposite! It ruined the first part of my day, me sitting there, for no reason! read more

This Walmart is enormous and has everything, but it has never been staffed properly. Every time I have visited I've had to wait in line 25+ minutes. I started going elsewhere because I just don't have the time to wait that long. There were always people there who were visibly upset about the waits, and it was always the same time of day that they didn't have enough people. You need more employees! read more

I was happy to see Walmart here because they have them in China too, but they don't sell any chicken feet here. Most products are for American customers, they have some Asian food item, but they all things we don't buy, maybe dumb locals will. All the girls very big and heavy here. read more

I shop at this Walmart regularly and have never had any problem until yesterday. I went to the Electronics Dept., to get a cell phone. I ended up waiting in this department over 45 minutes to start. Employees passed mr right & left, just kept going. I went to look for an employee in the bike department who told me she would page for someone, She NEVER did! Went back to Electronics, still no employee to help any of us there because by now ther were several people wanting help. When I could stop someone for a second because they were too busy to do their job, they told me I needed the guy with the keys. By no I had been in this section over an hour. One young man walked by me numerous times but never bothered to help me. He has long blond hair that he seems more interested in taking care of then working. Turns out he has the keys but he couldn't help me. I finally found a young man who I told him he was coming with me I want to get a phone but no one wants to help me. He didn't either but he did and got the keys by the blond haired kid. I finally got to look at the phones, picked the one I wanted but told the man I won't buy it here now. Since by now it was coming up on 2 hours of waiting. You have lost a customer for this store. There is no way I will ever enter the store again for anything. People be aware! It's....well, Walmart. Awesome, most of the time. I buy my kids clothes there all the time, and it's really good about having pretty much everything you could ever want. I only have one thing to mention. The pharmacy is literally the slowest on the planet. I had to get a prescription filled for my son, and I went on a Wednesday, at like 3. Slow time in the store, I should have been in and out right? Wrong. All five people stood in the back, talking and completely ignoring me and the other woman in line. After a few minutes someone finally meandered up to the drop off window, and took my prescription. He didn't ask for my insurance card, and told me it would be 45 minutes before I could pick the prescription up. Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, I spent almost an hour wandering around with a sick baby, because I couldn't see getting in the car, driving home, then basically having to turn around and come back. When the drugs were finally ready, I went back up, only to be completely ignored for another 10 minutes before I finally cleared my throat (rather impatiently at this point). The same guy came up, and asked if I could wait while the drugs were mixed. Then he told me he was charging the full amount of the drug, and would I like to pay with a card? I told him I had insurance, and he huffed, and said "Well I didn't see any of that while you were dropping off the prescription!" Because he didn't ask, and he was off and running before I could say anything. Finally we managed to get that straightened out, and I went to the pick up window. Yet another ten minutes later, someone comes up and asks "Can I help you?" I told him I was still waiting for my prescription, and he looked surprised, then went to the back again. Apparently the same guy I'd had for both windows was supposed to be mixing my prescription, but he had "forgotten". Other than the pharmacy, great store! read more

Worst customer service ever! I asked where to find a particular item and the employee said, "I have no idea, sorry." And walked away. I then asked another emoployee who clearly did not enjoy his job with a blank look on his face, he said, "Do you have a question?" I asked if they had the item, he said, "No sorry, try Hardward." And turned away as he told me. While walking towards Hardward I came across another employee who was passing me, I asked where Hardware was, she pointed me in the right direction without stopping. This is me being nice. The McDonald's franchise inside is a joke. Not sure what I should have expected from a McDonald's employee. But $6.00 for 2 milk shakes was apparently asking for a miracle. Would give zero stars if I could. Clearly need more staff. Only one person working Customer Service 3 days after Christmas! Waited over 40 minutes with 20 other people to return an item. Manager said this is all the staff we have then walked away. Meanwhile older lady leisurely picks through carts of returned items and takes her time walking them out into the store. So mismanaged, such a mess. Oh, now the manager is back arguing with a customer in checkout. Auto center not opened when promised. Went in 11-22-2019, after being physically threatened by an auto center employee at the Midvale, Utah location (in connection with their ALSO not being open when promised). Staff inside the Sandy store tell customers that the Auto Center will open at time X. But when a customer like me shows up, they can discover that due to under staffing the store isn't open until much later. For 11-22-2019 the only employee at this Sandy location stated that they normally open at 8am for oil changes, but that due to under staffing they would be open at 10:30am. At the Midvale location they tell customers that their auto center opens at 7am, even auto center employees will tell you this. And for the Midvale location, watch out for the unhinged auto center man who will threaten to fight you in front of your family when you complain. Look we all know Walmart is understaffed, and the employees are all reliably unhappy. And a few, are unhinged and violent (such as at Midvale). read more

they open 24 hrs so its really convenient. plus they sell beer here which is awesome especially when the state liquor store's closed. everything here is pretty cheap and there are always workers by aisles in case you dont know where things are. everything is organized too so its easy to find things. stuff here's also a lot cheaper than most other groceries like harmons. they also do ad match so you can do all your shopping at one place if you wanted and save gas + money + time. i love coming here bc its so close by. read more

This Walmart usually has what I need. The greeter that has worked there for years is so friendly. However, they have recently moved around the aisles in the beauty and hygiene area, and it is awful! You can only enter the whole section from one spot, and the aisles are very narrow, and only wide enough for one cart. I've heard so many people, even employees, complain about it. They need to change it back asap! read more

This Walmart is typically pretty clean, stock is decent but their staffing is the worst. You will wait in line for 15-20 minutes every time and the self check out lines are typically even worse than with actual cashiers. Cashiers are never really friendly. I usually don't shop there because of the lines and it's all around just pretty horrible place. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere. read more

Im not big on reviews but I received pretty much hands down the worst service ever at this location. I don't shop walmart often because of their reputation and business practices. However tonights experience definitely sealed the deal for me no longer being a customer. I asked no less than four employees for help unlocking a case so I could make a purchase. I sat there waiting for 30 minutes while listening to 2 call outs over the load speaker for assistance in the area I was waiting. I was passed by at least 6 employees with no one ever showing up to assist me. Best part was I searched my phone while waiting and found the item i was looking for elsewhere. Horrible!! Dropped off a signed script, waited for over an hour and they put it as a doctor call in and they would have to get approval to fill. Also sat in the drive through for 20 min trapped inbetween cars! Once we got up there, the lady had no clue and thought I had already dropped it off and kept asking who I spoke with! They NEED to close the drive through if they are not going to pay attention to it and get employees that have a clue! Only one that was helpful was a Eric I think! This is the worst store when it comes to customer service and treating their employees fairly!! If it would let me it would get 0 stars. I went into the store to buy a headlight for my car, of course it was locked up and I had to go looking for someone to unlock the case for me. I did find a very nice gentleman to help me. He said that he had to ring me up at the sporting goods register and I totally understood why, so when he rang up my purchase I used my debt card and requested some cash back when the register drawer opened there was not a till in the drawer with money, now mind you it is only 6:00 p.m, are they not open for business in the early evenings? For the next 20 minutes the poor employee paged for a manager on the phone,over the intercom and by his register.. Not one member of management bothered to respond. I even called the store using my cell phone, I asked for a manager and I heard them page for a manager to pick up line one, I was in the very back of the store and could hear it!! Nobody came to the phone. I saw two employees in yellow vests down an isle talking and laughing when I started walking towards them one of them started walking towards me I stopped her and asked her if she was a manager she asked what do need in a very condescending tone and I told her I needed my cash back. I told her that the employee has been paging for help for the last 20 minutes and she told me that she did not have time to answer the call because she was in the middle of an audit, I asked her if she was the only manager and she named off 4 more names of managers that was on that shift, it wasn't until I suggested that I should just call the police because this was theft, it was considered stealing from me; that is when she suggested that I go to the service desk!!!! This is so amazing too me, really what kind of service is this??? Inconvenient because everything is locked up, no money in the registers to help paying customers,at 6:00 pm and then the poor associate begging for help from a manager with no one responding!!! And then pointing a finger to go to the customer service desk. And them what wait in that freaking long line???? Shame on you Walmart!! read more
