Normally I'm a Target girl but tend to shop here often because they have some things I can't get at Target. (Target, are you listening?) Giving it 3 stars because in general the employees are helpful and friendly. However, they need to power wash the place. The parking lot is nasty and the store could be kept cleaner. Okay, I'm not expecting a Nordstrom atmosphere but it would be nice to be able to grab a gallon of milk and not have it covered with guck. Went today during my lunch break to buy a single tarp for the upcoming rain. The tarps are locked up in a glass cabinet for some reason so I ask Jorge (who walks with a cane) in the sporting goods/auto department by name to unlock it for me so I can grab my tarp. Jorge comes over and tries about 10 times over the course of several minutes using his phone app to unlock it with no success. I ask Jorge if he could please ask for assistance. With giving me a dirty look his reply was "don't be in such a rush". I then continued to wait while he tried another 10 times at which point I once again asked him to please get assistance because I was on a short lunch break and didn't have much time. His reply was" then come back another time" and he walked away. I then flagged another employee to come over and open the glass doors who then told me that they didn't have a key for it and so grabbed Jorge again. This time Jorge was able to open it on the first try, I said "success" and " thanks" and grabbed my tarp, and as I walked away heard him mumbling to the co-worker. Jorge's a jerk! read more

RUDE RUDE RUDE!!! My husband and I went to inquire about a warranty we bought for an item. Teresa was the rudest lady ever. She was "helping" two customers before us that spoke Spanish and she refused to help them that she didn't have time for them. She not once called a bilingual person over to interpret and help them. Finally as it was our turn she didn't let me finish my question and interrupted me and flipped her screen she didn't even know wtf I wanted to do and just assumed I was returning. She would have known if she let me talk. I'm appalled this is the representative for customer service. I brought my car to have a dead battery replaced. The technician (Danoosh) that helped me was outstanding. He explained in detail all of the battery options available for my car. He replaced the battery very quickly and made sure it was secure and that it worked. He also offered to check my tire pressure because he noticed the check tire light was illuminated. I've had many cars serviced for more than 45 years and have never had a better technician who exhibited this level of sincerity, detail, honesty, and willing to do whatever he needed to make sure i was happy. I highly recommend anyone that needs their car serviced to bring it to this walmart and ask for Danoosh. read more

The staff is very rude it was my first time visiting store and i was told im not allowed to be in there... its preety odd seeing as thought i had been in the desert area and before that was in Florida. Reminder: this review is for the tire and lube center only. If I could give their car care center zero stars I would. I never typically get tires or any car care service from Walmart, but I was in a pinch and needed service quick. Sadly they did not provide quick or efficient service. I brought my truck in to have a complete tire change and was told the wait would be 2 hours. I was a bit surprised as I was the only one there getting tires but figured hey that's fine I'll find something to do in the meantime. I got back 2 hours later only to find my car sitting exactly where I had parked it. Went inside to talk to the rep and he provided me no information other than turning me around and telling me to go back outside and speak to a tech. I went back outside and grabbed the guy who I had originally dealt with and he told me it could be several more hours as no one was in the shop and he had no clue where anyone was. This is completely unacceptable which I told him that I can't simply just wait here all day. As I was going over this with him another tech came out and said he could start working on it. For me as well as many others time is very valuable so if you value your time and expect work to be completed when they tell you, then I would suggest going elsewhere. Attention Store Management: we have been apart of Walmart + for a couple of years and have purchase groceries through pickup and delivery for 6 yrs. Grocery delivery is severely lacking. Poor produce nearly every purchase and no available Milk for delivery for over 6 weeks now. Called Customer Service and Corporate. Looks like this store is one of the few in the area that do not deliver milk. Even though they have plenty of stock in store. Customer Service says it is just a few stores in this area and unsure why it is unavailable. They says the other stores in the nation are not having this problem. They are trying to get answers why this store has such poor service. I stopped buy these items at this store. But when you pay for Walmart + service for groceries - milk should not be a luxury item that is unavailable. read more

I ordered a delivery and when I called they said it was delayed due to delivery workers. I called back 7 hours latter and the rep said that it was picked up. My only wish is the produce team could take over the responsibility of the hair color and cosmetics section. Products not restocked for weeks. Shelves empty or in disarray. Angelica took my call today and when she happened to come across the movie kept an eye on it. When she saw me in store rummaging thru the movie bin she asked if I was the one who called for Rango. Walmart is conveniently located a mere 5 minutes from my house and in a shopping Center that I frequent often. There are sections of the store that I shop in and those that I don't. For non perishable items, Walmart has wonderful prices, most times better than your local grocery stores. Same with things such as toiletry items, toys, certain kitchen items and paper products. They have a decent selection of recreational items, electronics, baby products and a wide selection of grocery items. The reason for the low stars is that I had found many expired items still on the shelves and the store could really use a good cleaning. All in all though, I have been very pleased with the affordability of many items and will continue to frequent Walmart whenever I'm looking for a good bargain! read more

This store is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I mean it's a Walmart, of course the parking lot is going to be busy, of course the store itself is going to be hectic. It's a place you can find your simple necessities at a reasonable price. In the afternoon, the lines can be long and I do wish they had more registers open however the self check out is not bad if you are only purchasing a few items. I'd give them 3 stars but the selection is really bad. Walmart corporation has narrowed their item variety a lot in the last year or two. The CEO has made a statement that it was a mistake and they lost business from it and that's probably true. I've never been a huge fan off Walmart but when the stopped carrying even some basic name-brand items I like I stopped going at all for a long, long time. That was awesome because it forced me to find smaller stores with better business ethics to give the bulk of my shopping, especially grocery budget too. Alas budget crunches brought me to the store again and I usually get a few staple items here that I just can't find elsewhere for close to better prices: Lactaid milk, their generic brand is $3. (If anyone knows where I could pick this up for less, let me know!) and Philly Cream Cheese (like 50 cents less than Target or grocery stores normally charge). I also tend to pick up their deli turkey or ham which is usually $5-6/pound. I also buy other household staples like kitty litter and TP here. They carry a cleaning product that is "green", all natural and does great on any natural stains (think puke/cat pee/baby food) and I can't find that particular product anywhere else. So... they're definitely not great but if you're on a tight budget and are straining to save 5-10 dollars a month on some select items, I'd recommend going there. However if your budget is more flexible just skip it and find similar items elsewhere. The lines are often long and the some cashiers are friendly and intelligent and others seem to be really slow and inept at the job. I've also noticed pricing issues once every 3 or so trips so keep a close eye on how things go. For produce: Do not go here at all. They have some of the worst looking produce in the entire universe at this store. Go to Sprouts in San Marcos (just a bit down the nearby highway and it's only 1 light away from the exit, so really... there's no reason not to!). I would also caution anyone from buying electronics and vehicle supplies from this location. I have never had any good results and I know several people who've had things break down *right* after the return policy ended. Big negative in my mind. read more

Only to be told "order running late" at the beginning of the pickup time and "sorry your order has been canceled" when the store closed that day. No option for tomorrow pickup... no priority for pickup times... just totally canceled. So, like an idiot, I did it all over again... and same result. Exactly the same. WASTE OF TIME AND DANGEROUS IF YOU ARE COUNTING ON THEM. Shame on Walmart for accepting orders when they aren't up to the task! read more

Failed on every level today. We did the grocery pickup and they texted us 3 hours late. We headed down and there were 10 cars ahead of us. First, they didn't have a third of our order (mushrooms, cheese) of which they had inside. Then we waited over an hour and the line didn't move. We tried calling and nobody answered any of the phones or the voicemail was full. We, like several other cars, just left without our order. There are several unemployed people and I'm sure they can hire any willing additional staff. Absolutely horrible! read more

I waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for my small pickup order last night. I was so angry and so were lots of people. They need a new manager. The workers didn't know what they were doing and they changed shifts right while we were waiting for our orders. I will never pick up anything here again, this is the worst store. I hate to shop when there are a lot of others shopping.... Not into crowds at all! I wanted a small camcorder and I wanted it now! I looked online to see what they had and to read reviews then headed out. I got there 10 min before closing. I'm a get in and get out kind of gal so wasn't worried about keeping anyone. You can definitely tell they are gonna get a makeover and they need it. The parkinglot is a bit dark which is a lil creepy for the area so I sure hope they get some more lighting! The guy in the electronic section greeted me right away and asked if I was looking for anything specifically. He pointed me out in the right direction. He did make a comment about the fact I chose 2 camcorders I wanted to look at and it was almost closing. I didn't realize he didn't have a key to open the doomahoogie! The one I wanted to buy wa sold out so I ended up paying more. I was all done before 10:00! yeeha! Got my camcorder home and it was so easy to use! I'd ideally give their service center a zero. I have a 2017 Honda HR-V and have been bringing it there for oil changes since it needed its first one. They do "inspections" on other things pertaining to your vehicle as well. At the first oil change, when they checked my tire pressure, they forgot to put the caps back on. Didn't notice till I got home later and just went later and bought replacements. Did I mention I've been bringing my vehicle here since 2017? With all the problems in the country lately I noticed my oil life was down to 15%. Then the light on the dash came on. Since Walmart's service center at that location is now closed I couldn't go there. The sign says they want to prioritize their service for customers.... Yeah right. Made a call to the Valvoline location close by and went there this morning. Have a skid plate under the engine and it seems some of the bolts are missing and some were inserted so badly that the threads are stripped! They had to zip tie! I'm going to let the local Honda dealer look at it and if it's what they say it looks like. Walmart is going to be expected to pay for this. read more

Upon check out the people in front of my family were having difficulties with discounts, prices of items, etc. The cashier was so apologetic to us and made a point to keep my son entertained while we all waited for a supervisor to assist them.
