I dont like to be treated like a criminal. I can tell when someone is watching me and being extra. I went here with my sister 1/18/24 @ 12 pm, and we went to the womens clothing section near the dressing rooms. We noticed a female worker (Asian, 60's) folding clothes in that area. My sis wanted to check out the clearance bins next to the dressing rooms. As my sis and I were looking, the female worker came and stood next to my sis but slightly in front of her off to the side. The distance was so close that she looked like she could touch her arm. The worker is folding or tidying up while facing us and keeping looking at my sis and I. That's not normal. I wish I had a pic of how close she was and how she was looking at us , standing directly next to us. I used to work in retail. I've never gotten that close and constantly stared at customers standing directly next to them like that, and didnt even greet us! If you're gonna stare and think I'm gonna steal, at least play it off and ask how we're doing today! I don't appreciate being treated like a freaking thief. I left the store with a feeling of frustration and helplessness because employees like her can get away with making a regular customer like us feel like crap. I only see about 5 or so workers actually working and/or willing to help with customer service! The rest of them are messing around texting or talking to other co-workers. Some of the cashiers look like they've been mad at everything. I understand if it's night time and they've been working all day, but damn...not in the morning or noon time! haha! ok... to be MORE POSITIVE...I actually still love going to this place! FUNNY, BUT TRUE....Two grown women were caught fighting at one of the toy aisles! It was crazy! Sad...how sad...all these kids watched...it was funny, but ridiculous! I wasn't desperate, but I can't deny Walmart was the most convenient place to score what I wanted. I did a search online for a new dining set and was surprised to find the same exact item at Walmart at $100 cheaper. After doing a more thorough search, I learned this store had the item available, so... zoom my cousin and I went to pick it up! We went early enough on a Sunday morning and found ourselves void of the usual odd crowd Walmart attracts. We found what we wanted, and after a brief inspection, cousin, who is just as able bodied as me, decided neither one of us will be able to carry that big box into the car. It was way too heavy even for both of us. And here come our hero, LaTania, the one AND ONLY REASON for the five star rating. She told us the cart we got would be of no use (the box wouldn't fit) so she went away and came back with a trolley. She also told us not to carry or move it ourselves to avoid any possible injuries, and since she couldn't do it herself either, off she went again and got assistance from another associate to load that heavy item on the trolley. We thanked them and assumed they were just gonna leave us to it. But then, a nice surprise: she rolled the whole thing with us all the way to the cashier. While waiting, she made a great suggestion: why not take all the contents inside the big box and empty them out one at a time into the car instead of carrying that whole heavy box all at once? "We'll even get rid of the big box for you." GENIUS! Transaction done, and cousin and I expected she would leave us the cart and let us go off on our merry way. Nope. She pushed the cart out and dragged another associate with her to help us load everything in the car. Seriously, cousin and I had our jaws on the floor. Neither one of us had ever gotten this kind of service from Walmart EVER. 100% credit to LaTania for me liking Walmart again. I wish all of Walmart's employees were exactly like her. They finally got something right! Although I expect Walmart to somehow falter again in the future, this current rating is well deserved only because of how great LaTania was. Giving a 3 because this place is just ok. My issue with this location is that while Walmart as a company has been pushing curbside delivery and easy pickup, when you order online for this location, you have to park and walk literally through the ENTIRE STORE to the back to get your order; you do not pick it up at the front, no do they offer curbside pickup. If your motivation to order online was to avoid crowds, shopping here online is a fail. I mentioned that to the person staffing the pickup desk and she said that a lot of customers have that same expectation and she's not sure why the website doesn't clarify things better. She was nice, and I appreciated her lugging out my order so I could put it in my cart (cases of dog food and things I didn't want to life in the first place). If you're used to shopping at Walmart then this place will just be your usual experience. Parking is plentiful, but people take shortcuts through the aisles a lot and they definitely drive too fast. At this time (Covid19) there is only one entrance in the front, you can't go through the garden section. Make sure you grab a shopping cart before you go in as well. read more

Went to self checkout, the line was a bit long. The cashiers at self checkout kept yelling 10 items or less & no alcohol which is perfectly understandable. Mind you the man in front of us had way more than 10 items & alcohol in the cart. But since he was a personal shopper the rules didn't apply to him. When we were about to pay the loss prevention lady repeated to us that it was 10 items or less, we told her that it was 3 separate transactions & she said that we needed separate carts otherwise we had to go to the regular register. I had 9 items my sister 6 & my mother 4. Why on earth are we going to get 3 separate carts for the items we had. But the personal shopper can go to self checkout without limits? I'm leaving two stars because Walmart is a huge store and they always have everything I need! The two star deduction is for a bad attitude havin cashier named Joyce. My boyfriend and I had come around 3 pm on a weekday, so the crowds were minimal. There was only one other party behind us in line. I smiled at Joyce and handed her my shopping bag before she began the transaction. She grabbed it and threw it on the lazy Susan thing. She proceeded to scan things and start placing the items over my bag. I asked her if I was to bag the items myself? She stared at me, rolled her eyes, and continued scanning. At this point I'm annoyed! She doesn't speak to my boyfriend and I not ONCE! I've never felt customer service this shitty in my life. I mumbled under my breath while walking away, Joyce is a shitty cashier. My bf had to calm me down because I really wanted to tell her something. But at the end of the day, I didn't want to let her bitterness ruin my day. It did for a second - but I quickly reminded myself, I am at Walmart for Christ sakes. So, the lesson here? Was loading groceries in my car around noon time yesterday when a car pulled up behind me with two guys in it. The person on the passenger side rolled down his window and started asking me what nationality I am and where I was born at the same time showing me something he was wearing on his chest. I told him I was born here and said have a good day as I quickly got in my car. I wasn't sure what his intentions were but after I got in my car they rode off. Horrible treatment by curbside staff. Stephanie asked me to sign into app 3 times. After which she reading, saw that my order was incorrect, then asked me if I cancelled certain items. Then her supervisor Alfred was an ass. He came out defending her. Then told me he had done all he was going to do which is nothing. In requesting to speak to his supervisor, she's purportedly on a call for an hour, per Tia. They don't answer calls, nor do they show any customer service. Hey Yelp friends, I'm back! And like a lot of people I have to make a quick Wallmart run from time to time. I've been to this particular store many times before but never wrote about all my horrible experiences. SO, it's time for me to spill the beans! The employees here do not give a single sh*t about anything or anyone. It's easy to see why becuse the management does not either. Here's what happened today. There was a really messed up open box, very dusty and dirty item that someone took home and used but didn't clean up before returning, this item will most likely never sell so I decided to bring it up to the front and ask for a little off the open box price. I was polite and I waited 20 min for a manager to even come speak to me. She was short and rude with me even though I showed her patience and respect as I explained my position. I watched her walk around not really doing anything before she came over, basically stalling me out to wait so she could come show me she was the boss, which makes me giggle. I had a simple question which requires a simple answer, she could have been nice but she chose to be rude. She said "is it marked down? Because that's price" in a condescending tone and then just walks away because she was done with me. Yes it's Wallmart but damn, you'd think "The Manager" would have some sort of professionalism. NOPE, Zero. In closing, I definitely will not spend money here again, amazon wouldn't do this to me. Don't go to this location, the employees here are the worst. P.s. Women be weary, you should not come here alone, there are a slew of disgusting men waiting to harass you, some shoppers, some employees. TREATED LIKE GARBAGE On Thursday was sold the wrong tire at the Santa Ana Walmart. The tire sale was logged into the computer. Too far to go back - 45 miles. The next day I go to the Torrance Walmart (15 miles away) to hopefully do an exchange, or a refund. Waited 15 mins to get in and over 15 mins at Customer Service. Customer Service Manager refused to do an exchange because this wasn't the store that did the sale. I didn't have the particular credit card I used with me so they also refused to give a refund. Although this manager was speaking louder than I was, he accused me of yelling. He was loud, rude and abrupt = I was treated like garbage. I called the Santa Ana Walmart and was on hold freaking forever. I explained the situation to one person snd was put on hold freaking forever waiting for a manager. I explained the situation to the manager who then asked me what do you want us to do for you? WTF! Then she cold transfers me to someone else who knew nothing. This is one of the ugliest Walmarts ever. It's always packed and dirty. It never fails that they have like 2 cashiers and the self checkout line is always long. It's a big Walmart but it feels unsafe in there-at least at night. If I HAVE to go here I'll go early in the morning when it's semi empty. The people that work here looked miserable. read more

I know it's the holidays and retail workers are busy trying to handle the rush of customers, but this location seems to have the rudest employees out of all other Walmarts in the area. Help and questions go unanswered plus they look at you as if you're wasting their time. I'm sure they hear all sorts of questions, but the least they could do is smile and have some type of customer and courtesy skills. WORST WALMART TIRE CENTER CUSTOMER CARE EVER!!! In April 2022, I purchased brand new tires along with road warranties for each tire. During last year's rain storms, in January, I hit a pothole and blew the tire. Attempted to file a claim with Walmart to no avail!! I called for several hours and nobody answered the phone. It's quite critical to have four working tires, especially in rainy weather. That being said, I was compelled to buy a new tire from Fabulous Davis Bros Tires in Culver City. Even though they were slammed, my call was answered immediately and the tire was replaced. Here I am, one year later, in pouring rain again, now with a nail in my tire. Twilight Zone all over again!! For TWO DAYS, I tried calling to make an appointment to bring in my car. I literally had to call Walmart Corporate headquarters to file a complaint. This is for the auto center. Cheryl is a terrible manager and provided the worst service ever. I had a tire appointment scheduled online about five days in advance. It wasn't until I had arrived on time for my appointment that they informed me that they actually close at 5pm and wouldn't be able to install the tires. When asked to speak to the manager Cheryl, she had already left for the day when she was fully aware of the situation that was going on because one of the employees tried to help us but she told him that he couldn't. I was offered no alternative for the service I was supposed to receive. They said they had tried to contact me at 1pm the same day of the appointment, but I have proof that they only contacted me once at 4pm, and only asked if I was able to come in earlier (which I couldn't because I live 40mins away) instead of telling me that they wouldn't be able to do my appointment at the scheduled time. read more

This is my "go to" Walmart location. It's not that far and it's surrounded by other businesses that I enjoy shopping at as well. It's spacious and it's well stocked. I haven't came here yet and not found what I came for. Another reason I love this location is because of the assistance that we recieve as customers. From the cashiers, to the helpers who carry the keys to the locked up products to those walking around with a portable register. You never have to circle the store too long to recieve assistance. This was the worst experience I've ever had in Walmart came to get a oil change waited two hours the first time decided to go back again to get a oil change. I got there at 8 o'clock in the morning I left at 11 with stiill no oil change my car was still sitting in the same spot where I left it with the mechanic, horrible service I would never go back. So I am not a routine Walmart consumer primarily because there is not one conveniently located to me. We needed something that they only had. Check their specific website and they had many in stock...tried To call to double verify...impossible...arrived to find the most unhelpful and blatantly rude 'worker' in the electronics department. End of the story is they did not have it and he walked away...asked him to double check; and he refused and then asked him to call another store to find one; 'not part of my job' and walked away again. Walking into Walmart to pick up one item in mind but always leaving with 100. This is what always happens to us. We walked in today to purchase a bike. They have a great selection set up outside of their doors by the parking lot. We looked around to see if what we wanted was available on the outside but unfortunately we didn't find it. We walked into the back of the store where they have an even bigger selection of bikes. There is a large amount of kids bikes also available for purchase. We found one that we thought might be the one. It was reasonably priced at $169. We took it to checkout and there we were offered an extended warranty plan which I didn't think we would really need so we declined. I love Walmart for the return policy and their satisfaction guaranteed policy. This is one of the main reasons I purchase my items here. Also there children clothes are highly discounted and handles the wear and tear well. I can buy sweatpants here for my son for only $4 which is amazing compared to some of the other stores so that's exactly what I did. I stocked up on summer clothes from Walmart that's how I ended up with 100 items at the checkout counter. The cashier was super friendly and made great conversation with us. I will definitely be back as I love Walmart. read more
