Had a little situation involving me having to wait for 2hrs to get my damn money back. The cashier was extremely helpful. Regarding the tire center in particular: Bought four tires online and had them shipped to this store. Every time I talked to someone there I got different prices for mounting and balancing. I had to send a friend so I followed directions on my Walmart email to add him as an authorized person. After filling out the required forms the website said that it was experiencing difficulties and could not fulfill the request. I called and spoke to Garrett about the situation and he robotically followed protocol and said that there was nothing he could do without having my friend added. The fact that it was impossible to add anyone seem to fall on deaf ears. After getting bounced around on the phones and waiting for 10 minutes I finally spoke with Tashi who was very reasonable and immediately said it wouldn't be a problem and took my friend's information. I had my friend take just the wheels in so that Walmart would not have to remove them from my car. He got no less than four different quotes for mounting and balancing ranging up to $100. They finally honored the price that I was told over the phone but in spite of being instructed not to change the valve stems, I got to pay $12 for completely unnecessary new stems. It took hours for them to do the work and while I wasn't there to confirm this, my friend said they weren't very busy. Without going into anymore detail it was apparently a comedy of errors to get the wheels into the system for them to mount and balance them. When I finally got the wheels back some of the weights could be pulled off my hand. Horrible installation, incompetent people and inflexibility with dealing with their own rules means I will not be coming back. read more

Pro Tip: Never come here for an online pick up!! The process for finding the packaged order is unorganized. I placed an order for an iPad Pro and spent waiting for over 6 hours in 2 separate days, only to have the employees NOT find my package in the trailer, back, or office. If I can give a zero I would. They have the rudest folks who answer the phone and NO help at all. This is the second time I have ordered something from this store and both times did not receive an email from the store that my order is ready so I called to check on the order. Both times I am lectured by the man who answered the phone on I should wait for the email. Both times I asked if they can check and both times my order has been ready! So this morning I went to Walmart to get an oil change and a patch for my tire. I pulled up in line at approximately 9:50. One male worker came up to ask what services I was coming to get which I told him an oil change and a patch for my rear driver side tire. He asked me which one I wanted to do first because they have been cutting their tire services so he didn't know if they still patched tires. I told him to do the oil change first so that could give him enough time to check on the tire situation. So I pulled in the oil change line and he started getting my odometer readings and vin number and had me sign his machine. I gave him my keys and asked him how long would it take he just looked for a second and I asked him a couple of hours he said yea. I went walking around the store like I normally do as this isn't the first time I've been here for an oil change. A little after 12PM I go back to see if they were done or how much longer and I see my car in the same area it was when I left it. At this point there were a few customers complaining about how long it's taking and that they've been there since they opened the auto center at 7AM. So I thought okay it may take a little longer than I thought. So I waited longer. Then at about 12:30PM I see my car is in the front of the oil change line with the hood open. I'm thinking okay this is great it won't be much longer. Then at around 1:00PM they moved my car to the tire line in the front. At 1:15PM I went back to check and they also had a car behind mine that had all the tires off. So at this point I went to the auto care cashier and asked her could she check if they were done with my car because it looks like they were working on the car behind mine and at this point I was there for over 3 hours. She checked her paperwork and told me she didn't have any paperwork on me and that they were working on my car now. I said okay. I walked off and sat down cuz I wasn't going to argue with this lady. At approximately 1:40PM a worker brings my key and I get back in the line because at this point I'm ready to go I've been there for almost 4 hours waiting for an oil change and a patch for my tire. The lady didn't come out until another customer came up and as she was helping him asked did I want her to check on my car now. I told her he already dropped my key in her box. She then gets my key and the paperwork. She scanned it and it was only $10 which was the price of the patch. I told her I got an oil change too. I'm not about getting over on people. She then checks her paperwork and didn't find anything. She goes out into the area where they are working on the cars and asks them if they did an oil change on my car. Then she hands my paper to another woman who comes to tell me they didn't do my oil change and if I wanted to purchase it to get it done. EXCUSE ME?!?!? I told her no give me my key and I wanted to speak with a manager. She said she was the manager for the Walmart auto care center so I asked for the store manager. She said she wasn't in and that I could talk with the assistant manager. She then goes into a room in the auto care center and a few minutes later a lady comes out. The funny thing about all of this is that the woman she brought out was the assistant manager of the auto care center and I saw her picture on the wall. So since they tried to cover up their mess I asked for corporate's number. I called corporate and they said they had to send a ticket to the store manager. So I wasted 4 hours of my life. Nobody apologized but the customer rep on the corporate call. Needless to say I'm pissed and I want answers. I should not be subject to this time of behavior or service. Why would my car be in an oil change line for 3 1/2 hours for nothing. Someone needs to give me answers because I'm not about wasting my time. read more

Had the worst experience. Went to return a sound bar that I purchased August 12 that would not work when plugged in. Now I purchased it on the 12 and returned it on August 13 and the lady who assisted me in returns said it was damaged and did not want to refund me. Well hell it cost $107. She had to get someone else over to assist and I guess there was still a problem so they had to call another manager. Damn does it take 2 managers to resolve a problem. Shout out to David at the tire center he resolved my tire rotation issue where i had purchased tires at the Paramount location & it wasn't coming up in the system. Oil Change & Rotation takes about 1.5 hrs so I headed over to Carls Jr nearby with my dogs to have a Beyond Burger. read more

I was looking for a sewing machine and finally found the model I wanted. I saw that Walmart had the best price and this was the only location within a 30 mile radius that had it in limited stock. I contacted the store to see if they could double check for me, as it was raining and I live 30 minutes away. The phone rang for 6 minutes before the operator answered and then transferred me to the sewing department. No one picked up in the sewing department and after 5 minutes of waiting, the line got disconnected. I called them again and the same operator answered after 4 minutes; this time she stated she would get someone to check the floor for me and told me to wait 10 minutes. She placed me on hold for 30 minutes and no one picked up the line to follow up with me. I hung up and called again. A different operator answered. I explained the situation to her and she told me to call back later when the lady in charge of the sewing dept was back from break. I told her I was upset because Theresa put me on hold for 30 minutes and did not follow up with me. If she did not have enough staff to check for her, she should have told me. I asked to speak to her manager, and she argued with me.. she told me to hang up and call again and that she would transfer me to her manager. I thought that was odd, but I did as she requested. When I called for the 4th time, the phone rang for 3 minutes before she answered again. She seemed confused that I got her line again. I think she was hoping that someone else would answer my call and deal with me instead. I asked to speak to her manager and she hung up on me. I called for the 5th time. She tried to pretend she was a different operator and said she was line 1. I called her out on it and told her I wanted to speak to her manager. She refused to transfer me to her manager and kept asking why I wanted to speak to a manager. Finally, after 10 minutes of arguing with me, she finally transferred me a manager. He apologized and offered to check for the item. He put me on hold for 5 minutes and stated that they did not have it. I doubt he was a manager and I don't believe they actually checked. I know Walmart isn't known for their customer service skills, but this was unacceptable. read more

Came in to the store to return unworned work boots that was a little over $25. The store policy says anything over $25 they can issue you a gift card which I understand since I lost my receipt. Despite me showing them their own return policy, they looked confused and said they cant accept anything over $25 without no receipt. I have to say Antwanette in customer service is the best and knows her stuff. I purchased a bmx bike online with pay in store and got email saying it's been cancelled and the refund would be available in store. It was not, so on the phone with Walmart.com for 45 mins and they finally were able to process it. Ms. Antwanette was courteous and had a lot of patients especially for the customers being rude all while helping me. Also witnessed employees standing around gossiping about..who said, and did what! Come one people leave the drama outside of work and be professional you knew what you all signed up for. Everybody else that gave this place one star got it right. I only wish Yelp would allow zero star reviews, because in every way possible this is the worst store of any type that I have ever been to. Let me count the reasons why: 1. The traffic signals on 190th street make a total gridlock in front of the store from 3PM to 6PM 2. The people that shop here are terrible drivers with POS cars, so if you take a nice car here, you will leave with door dings. 3. The parking lot is full of big rigs that seem permanently parked, so there are not as many parking spots and navigation is treacherous. 4. The parking lot is filthy and there are always lowlife individuals loitering there. 5. There are shopping carts all over the parking lot, but none in the store. 6. As soon as you walk into the store you will want to leave because it is crowded, the aisles are narrow and it is poorly laid out. 7. The other customers are rude, stupid, and move incredibly slowly. 8. There is merchandise piled everywhere, but the displays are half empty and they will not have what you are looking for. 9. Did I mention that the inside of the store is as dirty as the parking lot? 10. The employees are dumber than the customers and their stupidity is only exceeded by their laziness and rudeness. 11. The checkout lines are long and are slower than the second coming of Christ. 12. Only 2 of the 8 self checkout registers work, and the employee that is stationed there does not work at all. 13. You have to deal with the parking lot and traffic again when you leave. I know this is Walmart, but this Torrance location is so much worse than their usual store that I had to write this. Go to Walmart this morning (Sunday) We straight to the Electronic area looking for Roku streaming stick. We (Wife and I) saw two employees a man and female together in the department so when went for help , the female (Brianna) had her back toward us. I say good morning to the of them . only the guy spoke. I say good morning again to the Brianna , she ask me what do I want! and I answer I would like for her to help me and she turn her back toward me and continue talking with an employee whom she appeared to be training .SHE NEVER HELP ME... I've been in customer service over 40 year and customer is the life line of any business . I'm sure Brianna isn't the example of the Walmart way...Very disappointed... I WISH THERE WAS A 0!!!! Went in on a Monday to purchase all 4 new tires two hrs before they closed and was told it was too late and come back next day. Fine no worries I go back next day early morning and was told there was a 2 hr wait time, they checked stock on the tires I requested and verified they had them. 3 hours pass by and after consistently asking about my car Im told they only have 2 tires and was offered a cheaper version of them. Money was NOT the issue I wanted good tires for my car. Some RUDE NO PEOPLE skills lady named Paula was talking to me like I was ungrateful for not wanting the cheap small little tires they did have in stock. I asked why I wasn't told before about the tires not being in stock before waiting so long. I even called in late to work. She seem uninterested and simply said "do u want the small cheaper tires?"... After repeating myself a few times she offered to order the tires I wanted and I was told they will be delivered the next day before 10am. She also stated that i should come a day after to make sure they arrived. So I gave them an EXTRA day and went in that Wednesday now and was told NO TIRES WERE EVER ORDERED WE HAVE A CHEAPER VERSION DO U WANT THEM OR WOULD U LIKE YOUR CAR BACK! SERIOUSLY????????????????????? Come on ...... Let me see what is worse, the really long lines, the workers who look and act like they hate life, or the parking nightmare you deal with everytime. I'd give 0 stars if I could. Came to get a scooter that was stated to be in stock online. Went into the store on my lunch break and found that there were no scooters at all on the shelf. Literally completely empty shelves. I asked a worker for assistance and they directed me to customer service, where I waited for a half an hour because there was only one lazy worker taking her time with the huge line of people. I finally got to the help desk and they said I could only get the scooter if I buy it online and come back to pick it up. It said online that it was available in stores, not just pick up online orders. This Walmart lost my $100 purchase and the chance for any future shopping. On July 20, 2015, I took my car in for an oil change. I was told it would be about 45 minutes, so I wandered the store for a good half an hour and then decided to get something at McDonals's, which took another half an hour to enjoy. I went back to the auto center to find that my car was not done. I figured that I would just wait in the waiting room, which I did. For another hour and a half! To top that off, when it was finally done, I went to the register where a customer service supervisor was counting the till. His name was JAVAID. The man didn't even look at me to acknowledge that I was there. It took him 10 minutes to count everything up, then he closed the drawer and walked away WITHOUT SAYING A WORD! If he is a customer care supervisor, then I would hate to deal with the customer service manager! I am taking my star back! read more

The girl at the counter actually responded "It's not here" and just stared at us like its our fault. This is by far the worst Walmart I have ever been to! The large walmart is always busy and looks like a tornado flew in. My fiancee came to this location to buy me a ring and while purchase of the ring was no hassle getting it re sized has been a nightmare! we brought the ring in about two weeks after he got it. We were helped by a young lady who seemed to be going through some "female pains". She told us she had to go get a manager. After five minutes the pained girl comes back by herself and begins preparing a form to send with the ring she borrowed my pen to do so. she gives us a ticket and our receipt to bring back when the ring was ready. She says it will take two weeks and that she will call us to come pick it up. Two weeks went by and we decided to just go there and get the ring even though no one had contacted us. Upon arrival the woman helping us this times says that the ring was never sent out!! WTF!! She says the pained girl filled out the information incorrectly. So my question is why wasn't there a next step? a follow up? So did the girl even try to send it out to be re sized? if it got rejected, why didnt she have someone correct it? why didn't anyone call us? Well the reason no one called was the ring was just thrown in an envelope and put under the cash register! Im furious at this point and my fiancee is upset as well. However i love my ring and we decide to let them try again and i expect any fee if there are any to be waved. Its been 4 days and I called to check the status. The woman on the phone tells me it has been sent out but will take at least two weeks to be done. so I ask when was it sent out, so that i can keep track of the time thats passed and how much longer i should expect to wait. She tells me to hold on while someone goes to check the date i waited on the phone for almost 10 minutes for no one to ever come back to the phone. Needless to say im done with this Walmart my experience has been the worst in my life i dont recomend anyone come to this walmart especially for something that important. read more

I have never been so disappointed in Walmart like I am today I have been searching for the 3ds for my grandson for Christmas from Santa . Walmart stated they had two so I placed an order for one for pick up same day. The order takes your credit card and says order will be ready same day for pick up but wait for the email stating it's ready for pick up. Two days goes by and I decide to call and follow up. 28 minutes on hold. Yes I waited because if I hung up I would have to start all over. So I tell the girl at the pick up dept and she tells me my order was restocked because I didn't pick up. WHAT? U took my money??!! Online said they hold up to 1 week , I called Javier the manager who said I must have spoken to the layaway dept. hell no I didn't but he said he would find out and call me back. Well Javier I left my work, went to your store, waited a half hour at least at the pick up counter to be told that my order is not ready because there are no 3ds in stock. So where are you Javier?? No call back and I'm home over an hour already. I've been in and out of your store and it's been 3 hours since I called you. Terrible service. Had to have a last minute car change oil while I'm in L.A. Walmart car care dept. have always been convenient for me, this Walmart's no different. Car care dept. was quick and efficient. Shopped at their newly renovated store while we waited for my car as well. Clean environment and very well stocked. Staffs are amazingly friendly! They are actually very accommodating and well kept! Customers here are mostly decent. Overall, a good experience for a Walmart. Wow. read more

SOLICITORS!!!!!!! This store has sooo many solicitors that it felt like fighting through an angry mob to get inside the store. I thought we made it in and would be able to pick up a few things at a great price when we were approached INSIDE the store in the women's department by a solicitor asking us to sign a petition.
