Walmart is the worst. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE and expect hassle free returns. I purchased a kitchen aid online with the help of a walmart store associate. Unfortunately, a mini and not classic arrived. I checked on the walmart receipt how to return and it said to take with receipt to Walmart. I took it to the Hawthorne location. After a 35 minute wait in line, I am told they don't accept walmart market place returns. When I asked for a manager, she was rude and said they can't take because their label printer has been down a month. Now I have to find a way to return this, but guarantee I will NEVER order from walmart again. Lousy service, rude employees, clearly rolls down from the top. read more

This is the worst Walmart to go to. They are so lazy and inconsiderate. I work and get off work late sometimes. This location claims they close at 10pm but if you get there 10 minutes before 10pm they will literally lock the door in your face. I had this experience multiple times. Once I needed an emergency supply for my 14 month old baby but they refused to let me in at 9:40pm. The manager at that location is worse. She came out when I requested to see her and had the audacity to say her team is tired and wants to go home, hence they close a few minutes before 10pm. I've had consistently good experiences whenever I shop here. I mainly come here for toiletry items such as Eye contact solution, deodorant, toothpaste, face wash etc. I never have an issue with parking, the store is somewhat clean. Much better than the larger on on Normandie, which is always a complete mess. I always go through the self checkout. The regular check stands seem to move very slowly. Awful! I tried to make a return when the store opened and waited 10min, then was told that NOBODY from CS had arrived for that department. I come to this Walmart all the time, you really can't beat Walmart prices. I will say that this location has a smaller inventory than other locations I have been to therefore you will not find the same variety. Although it's smaller than your typical huge Walmart locations I can pretty much always find what I need. It is never over crowded and the staff are helpful. Plenty of parking and near other shopping centers such as Staples and Target, also Del Amo and a Hobby Lobby coming soon. Another great thing is that they always have shopping carts available and sanitized. read more

Today at about 11:40am I witnessed a horrible accident where the set up hallmark panel fell on top of a 5 yr old. Crushing her and trapping her underneath. Staff members as well as customers rushed to lift the hallmark panel display off her. After asking for the manager to come several times she did, hopefully a store report was filed. Poor girl had a huge bruise on her forehead and seemed in shock as well as her mother. Gwen the manager showed up after so many concerned customers were surrounding trying the help the lady out which seemed like she only spoke Spanish, so a lot of the customer tried explaining to her in Spanish that she has a right. Hopefully the manager Gwen explained to the customer her rights. As a manger I don't believe this situation was handled correctly, hopefully the manager takes an initiative to do a rotation of the store to ensure no event like this happens again. Please make sure display panels are set up properly and safe. read more

This walmart is usually my go to, but the management here seriously needs to do better. I understand the reason behind having to lock certain things behind a case. However, if you're gonna have shit locked up, make sure there's someone in the department with a damn key to help the customers. I've been in management and retail for many years before and have dealt with all sorts of short staffing or busy crowds and either way, it should not take over 20 mins to have someone unlock a case to retrieve a product. Not to mention having to search multiple departments in the store for an employee and all of them letting us know they don't have a fucking key. Then to top it off, the employee who finally came wanted to have attitude because we were all upset and was aggressively dropping the products into the basket. This Walmart is absolutely the most ridiculous, sloppy, and rude Walmart in the US, I have no doubt about it. I stopped by to pick up some oil and a camera mount and when I when to check out, the oil seemed like it was way more than the shelf price. So I went and checked, and sure enough, it was $3 less than what I paid. When I finally found a customer service person, (who turned out to be the assistant manager) I told them and they said "what do you mean we over charged you?" with a skeptical look on her face. I Insisted and showed her a picture of the shelf price, and she sent someone to check the shelf. 10 minutes later she came back with the right price. finally, after 15 minutes, they returned my money, but gave no apology at all. So I asked how to get an apology and the assistant manager told me I could "call the manager on Monday" if I wanted an apology. =[ I already go out of my way to avoid Walmart, but the rude people and mispriced everything at this one are the last straw for me. Not all Walmarts are equal. I'm visiting family and came to this Walmart, where everything is locked up. A less than $4 bottle of generic pedialyte was under such lock and key that I wasn't even allowed to touch it from cabinet to register! So I can't even look at what the ingredients are? I can't see what I'm paying for? I also needed a bottle of Neutrogena anti acne wash, and that was locked, too. At least I was allowed to walk around the store with it. At the cash register, again, I'm trying to look at the ingredients. The cashier wouldn't let go of this bottle, enough for me to just SEE WHAT I'M BUYING!!! Again, this was a less than $4 bottle of the generic stuff! Next, came payment. When I went to pay with a screenshot of a gift card I'd redeemed online, the cashier refused to scan it. I was made to feel like I was trying to pass off a fake barcode at Walmart. She insisted on seeing the word "Walmart" on the screenshot, even though I repeatedly told her it was a screen shot. If it was faked, don't you think the creator of said fake gift card would've added "Walmart" to make it look real?Then she switched up her tactic by saying there needed to be a number on there. If she'd used her God given eyes, she'd see that it was at the bottom of, yet again, I emphasize, my SCREENSHOT!! Finally, she caved and scanned it. By this point, I felt like I was someone not to be trusted with any of their merchandise, and that I was there to cheat and scam my way through my Walmart purchase. So, now I'm furious and want to speak to someone in charge. I go to the "Customer Service" area, and I ask this lady for the manager. She wants me to tell her what my issue is. I said I'd rather not tell my story twice. Her response? "All requests for the manager has to go through an assistant manager." Her name tag doesn't identify her as anyone other than a regular employee. If she is not the assistant manager, why would I need to tell my story 3 times? It is completely ridiculous to have to tell your complaint to one person, as if they are a "filter" for the story, or to protect their manager, or whatever the manager doesn't want to deal with. I have never, ever, been so insulted at any Walmart like I was today. And, shame on them for treating their customers like this. Even if you have theft that forces you to protect your assets, there's other ways of operating a business. Doing a return, line was long one person was helping. maybe it's because it's lunch time and it's their break. It was nice of the security guard handed me a cart I must say, for me to carry that heavy air fryer for the return. When it was my turn, the girl, scanned my receipt and offered cash. I had a weird feeling when she counted the money under the table and not right on top for me to see, folded them and gave it to me. I took the money, my bad of not counting in front of her ... until I had to buy something 30 min later at a supermarket. I was short changed by $10. Omg the lines here are INSANE to check out. The store itself is OK, it's Walmart so I am really just coming here for the prices and now I remember why this is only the second time I've ever stepped in a Walmart. First off, there were Huffy bikes for sale outside with NO price tag. I would have been interested in what the price was, but it was no where to be found and no store associate nearby to ask. Not a great way to sell anything in my opinion. Everyone looking at the bikes all commented "where is the price tag?" And we were all looking but gave up and walked away. Second, the store seems disorganized and the check out lines were ridiculous. There were probably over 7 people in each check out line and not every check out lane was open. I'm not sure if they were short staffed or if everyone happened to be on break at the same time, but there NEEDED to be ALL lanes open for check out. Lines were backing up into the clothing rack and shelves, and I probably waited almost 15+ minutes to check out. They get 2 stars because although the prices are great, they need to re-strategize their check out processes to be more efficient and work to reorganize the store to ensure pricing is available and correct on all items. read more

We had stopped by this store to grab a few things. Well.... I highly doubt we will be going here again! Our cashier Basil has the personality of a Brussel sprout! When he bagged our items, he placed our bagels in a bag with chemicals. The chemicals leaked all over the bread and he had place other items in with again chemicals yes and leaked all over the food! The best thing about Walmart is that they price match. I found a humidifier they was $15 at babiesRus and they matched the same price. Crowded, cramped, messy...typical Walmart style. Never enjoy a visit to Walmart and when I do I vow to never return...would rather shop at 7 different drug stores to find what I need....but that's only if my Target doesn't have it. Almost every visit includes a screaming child, an adult whose cellphone is glued to their ear engaged in a conversation better left for hours when little ones are asleep or the very item you want is behind locked glass doors and never is there a store clerk around to help you. I usually end up walking out thanking my lucky stars this store is nowhere near my house. Target has it's annoyances too, but I don't leave there feeling like I have to take a shower. Prices I understand are low but this Yelper will gladly pay a few dollars more for a better shopping experience. read more
