They are 150.00 all over the internet. Sold same frames all three years in a row and doesn't want to put new lenses in old frames because the lenses are flimsy -her comment when I asked. His script from year to year 2021 OD +.50 -.75 OS +.50 -1.00 2022 2023 OD +.75 -.75 OS +.75 -1.25 2024 OD +1.00 -.75 OS +1.00 -1.25 2025 OD +1.00 -.75 OS 1.25 -1.25 Note he is diabetic and has been since 2017 his vision is not perfect, but really three pairs of glasses in three years with such a slight change in prescription!!!?!??! I asked her why he got glasses her response was he wanted them. You are the professional you could have said it's not enough of a script change to make it worth while and never did they offer THIS YEAR to use the old frames for the new lenses. She knew he had two extra pair! 2/11/2025 when I reached out and asked questions about the extra 25 charge which sounded completely made up she got an attitude and snapped back if we didn't want the glasses to return them and she will give us our money back. I'm sorry that's a great fix and we are going to be accountable for our choices but let me tell you something she has an attitude if you decide not to buy glasses. She doesn't like to be questioned and her services are not honorable. Whether this is her or her staff it needs to be addressed. This post is long but I just don't want others to get ripped off when they are honestly trying best to just get through the day to day struggles. You don't get a second chance to make a first impression Meagan!

This optical shop has been unreasonably overcharging customers for many years. They collected…read morepayments from customers for services that should have been covered by insurance; however, to avoid the hassle of filing claims, they required customers to pay the full amount out of pocket. When customers requested that they file insurance claims--and even when the insurance company proactively contacted them with the same request--they flatly refused to cooperate. Furthermore, when customers asked for copies of their receipts or copies of their eye examination results, the staff repeatedly stalled and withheld the documents. When a customer discovered that they had been charged for unjustified fees on multiple occasions--and, worse yet, that the lenses provided had been manufactured with incorrect prescriptions--the shop owner became hostile, physically expelled the customer from the premises, and threatened to call the police. The owner is arrogant, rude, and refuses to issue any refunds. This establishment is a family-run business owned by a Vietnamese couple; they are malicious, greedy, and engage in deceptive practices against their customers. I urge everyone to avoid this shop--proceed with extreme caution!

Plus I got the anti-glare lenses that make everything look so clear. The gentleman that helped me made the decision for the lenses so much easier since he had them too and swore by them. Dr. Hillard is always super nice, funny, and is very patient when I can't decide which is better. "1 or 2, 3 or 4..." The staff is really nice and is very professional and sweet. My youngest was interested in contacts but had a lot of anxiety about putting things in her eye. There was a young lady,Morgan, that patiently helped her learn how to put the contacts in and how to remove them. The office manager, Donna, also showed great care and patience while we had to go through a few extra steps to find the contacts that were the most comfortable in my daughters inexperienced eyes. Of course I am also greatfull to Dr Hilliard. She is truly a gem. She has a talent for making her patients feel relaxed and comfortable. All of this personal care and interest was given to my children while maintaining strict social distancing standards. We felt safe and cared for! As a bonus the office has recently been remodeled and it is absolutely beautiful!!

I really enjoyed getting my annual eye exam at this location…read more Staff: The doctor was extremely knowledgeable and thorough during my exam, asking me lots of questions and explaining the cause of some of my symptoms. She was professional, but also opened up to me when I asked her a personal question. It was nice to feel like my doctor was a real personThat I could trust and connect with. I believe Office Space: The office was very neat and tastefully decorated. I also enjoyed the nice array of machines for eye testing. It just looked really fancy. If you have a fear of the test with the eye puff, no need to worry because they don't do that here. They used a handheld device that just feels like a tickle. Frames: They had a nice variety of prescription frames from different designers across varying price points. With my taste, I went to the designer wall, but was shocked to see that some of the frames were upwards of $500. They were names like Tom Ford and Gucci, but I have seen similar frames from the same designers for only about $300 at different locations. The frames here are definitely expensive. They do have more affordable options around the $150-$250 mark, so they do have a little bit of some thing for everyone. Based on what your insurance covers, you can get an additional 20% off of the overage, which does take care of the price a little bit. Overall I had a great time at Clearlake Eye Center, and will definitely back for my next check up. I'm not sure if I will actually buy my glasses there, but I enjoyed the visit nonetheless..

So far not a good experience! Lenses took weeks too long to receive. Never called me, I had to call…read morethem and push them about it, then bingo the next day they call to say they're ready! Worse once I got them I told the "optician" I could not see out of the computer glass pair, and she kept insisting it was something I would have to get used to. I explained these are not progressive glasses that you have to get used to. They should work when I put them on. She insisted the Doctor requires a four week follow up. I said I can't wait four weeks!!! I have to work and read and write contracts for a living. I need to see now. She said it was afternoon and maybe my eyes were tired to try again in the morning. I did and had the same problem, I spent at least $1500 plus on two pairs of glasses! The next day after I take them home, I had to go to my regular eye doctor and have them take those lenses out and put my old ones back in one pair so I could see and work over the weekend! I then tried to wear the computer glasses a few more times but never worked. I then called multiple times no answer!!! So I sent a detailed email requesting a response or to speak with the doctor because I live an hour away. I also left a voicemail, and again a voicemail the next day. Now 48 hours still no reply!!! So I called again the third time and at 2:30 PM was told both doctors were out of the office. I asked why no one has called me or responded to my email and the receptionist said the 2 doctors/owners are both very busy with patients all day. I asked when can I expect to hear back from them tomorrow? She said she doesn't know because they're both very busy all day. I said tomorrow's Friday, so am I supposed to do wait through the whole weekend and just see what happens next week?! Pathetic customer service and no way to treat patients in need of glasses spending thousands! They say their Theralense company is Superior for those needing prisms. Apparently here's ZERO expected follow up with the doctor for one month after the optician gives you your glasses! Beware! There's apparently few BVD binocular vision disorder (or miss alignment problem in my case) specialty doctors, which is why I engaged here. But there was another I found in Tomball, may have to check out. They say zero refunds also!!! BEWARE!!! I'm now referring to these doctors as the Wizards of Oz because they're behind an iron curtain and impossible to engage with beyond your initial visit. At least my experience so far. Really pathetic when you spent so much time and money that the opticians and receptionist are super flipping and you can't get any answers or return calls or emails about your concerns, or next steps to take!!!
