This is probably the worst review I will ever write in my life. Katee Quach completely ruined my vision and my life. But first, let me give you some context. About two years ago, I only needed a new pair of glasses (there was nothing wrong with my eyes, I've just always needed glasses because my eyes get tired easily). I brought in my prescription from Argentina, where I'm from. I explained that the values might look different because Argentina uses a different metric system than the U.S., but I told her this clearly and asked if she could simply convert it (something very basic you can find easily online). I trusted completely that she had done this, so I left with my new glasses believing I was still using the same prescription I had my whole life. That's when my nightmare began. Every day I woke up with terrible headaches, and soon I started experiencing double vision and blurry vision. I went back, and she made me get another pair of glasses (once again changing my original prescription.) By this point, I was deeply worried, my vision was getting worse and worse. I couldn't walk properly, I couldn't drive, I couldn't function. When I kept returning to her office begging for answers, she told me that I "just needed to get used to seeing double" and that there was nothing to do other than strabismus surgery. She even referred me to Dr. Varshney Anshul (it seems like they work together to scam patients). Both of them told me I had "beginning of glaucoma" and that I needed surgery for that, PLUS surgery for strabismus to get rid of the double vision. Fed up with this incompetent and frightening diagnosis, I flew back to Argentina to see my lifelong doctors. They immediately ruled out glaucoma. They also confirmed I did not need strabismus surgery. Instead, they discovered that my double vision was caused entirely by the wrong prescription that Katee Quach gave me. The moment I stopped using that false prescription and went back to my correct one, things started to improve. It's been three months now, and my vision has been slowly recovering. I still hope to see as clearly as I did before ever stepping foot in this office. If you are experiencing headaches, dizziness, double vision, or blurry vision after getting glasses here, please know: the problem might not be you, it might be the bad prescription this office gave you. read more

I don't usually do reviews but my husband told me to in this case since I kept saying how impressed I was with this place. I was desperately overdue for new prescription for glasses and contacts. I thought it was gonna be just in and out like the other places I went to before. But everyone actually took the time to ask me questions and didn't rush on the exam/check up. Dr. Quach was very kind and seemed to actually care about my eyes. She noticed signs of my dry eyes and gave me advice & recommendations even without me complaining about it! She explained that it could lead to eye strain and headaches even if I had right prescription. (I do get bad headaches!) Then when I was too busy & missed the follow up appointment to check how the new contacts and glasses were feeling, she personally called me to check then her staff squeezed me in for another time. They even took their time during the follow up to do thorough exam again to make sure everything was fitting okay and no problems. I highly recommend Dr. Quach & her staff. read more

I called the office to make an appointment for my son and the very nice receptionist answered the phone and gave us a same day appointment. I came in to ask about my last vision exam and while 2 employees were able to make eye contact not a single one acknowledged my daughter or I. I waited for 10 minutes before either of the two employees came up to the door and asked if we needed help. Needless to say this is new staff since the last time we were here. I will never go back!!! This particular Walmart vision center accepts my Aetna vision insurance. and the frame selection was very good. Ordering my Frames and Lenses was easy, with no pressure from any up-charge... so it would seem. The price seemed higher and when I got home I found they added a $20 protection plan without asking me. Then when I went to pick up my glasses rather than take me to a table where you normally sit and check it out in a mirror and they make any adjustments, they just handed them to me at the register and said "here you go". When I started to question it, they were "Oh maybe we should let you try them on and see if they fit okay" She just had me put them on at the register and said "Yep. Looks good" read more

Just left the Vision Center and had great customer service by Jeff! I came in to get the nose piece of my glasses fixed. He greeted me and said that the repair wouldn't take too long. When I came back to pick them up, he just gave them to me and told me the service was free! Not many things in this day and age are free so I am thankful for people, like Jeff. My favorite place to pick up a new pair of glasses and contacts. The people here are very sweet. People are very helpful when looking for a pair of frames that fit your face. I trust them when looking for a new change. They are very accommodating and honest about what you need for your glasses. You can also pick up a par of sunglasses here and even add your prescription to them if need be. They have a very good variety to chose from. I will definitely keep coming to this place. read more

I love this vision center the staff is so friendly and very knowledgeable and the prices what can I say they are even better!!! good variety of frames men and women kids too. They have this deal if you use your insurance twards your your contacts lenses as a curtosey they give you 50% of a pair of glasses frame and lenses! Who doesn't need at a back up pair of glasses incase you run out of lenses?? I know it's happened to me I've ran out of lenses and don't have glasses. I would always go to the Vision Center in City of Industry which I loved and is why I was pleasantly surprised that this store had the exact same excellent customer service that I was used to. I move closer to the Pomona area so this is now my new main store. Jeff the associate that used to help me at my old store actually got promoted and is now the assistant manager at this store so it's feeling just like home and he brought all the excellent attitude from the other place with him, this whole store is friendly, smart, and helpful. read more

Came here because of the reviews. I've been using glasses since I was 10, I'm now 24. Needless to say I've been to my fair share of optometrist. The doctor herself was very kind and straight to the point. My issue was with the ladies in the front helping you choose your frames and completing the order. I bought two pairs of glasses the first time I went, one for myself and one for my boyfriend. Now when we were completing the purchase they started selling me on the protection plans stating that they covered scratches on the lens and broken frames. I never break my frames but I do get the lenses scratched from my day to day use. I went back about a year later to purchase sunglasses and was told the same thing about the protection plan. I was even told by the lady helping me purchase my sunglasses that my current glasses could actually be replaced by my warranty, only issue was that I had to leave my glasses there. I couldn't at the moment since I can't function without my glasses. Fast forward to today, I have a second pair of glasses for work so I decided to go back and get my Walmart glasses replaced. They said they don't cover any scratches and that they don't know who helped me. Told them to look in the system and they still state they didn't tell me my glasses could be replaced.
