Walm is fantastic, personable, and fun. I've been doing circuit boxing training with him and have shed pounds and inches and always leave feeling energized and invincible. His courses are tough, challenging, and intense/nonstop. He also changes up routines so that you're never getting use to your work out. He's super encouraging and will work with you to figure out where your weaknesses are and help you achieve your goals. On top of all this, he's just cool a dude. I do personal training 3 times a week and enjoy his honesty & work ethic. I recently rented the facility through gymlynx.com for a personal workout and what I love about his gym is that it is very clean, great location, right across the street from Prudential Center so convenient. upon our first meeting he was very professional and design a workout to fit my goals. Looking for a great workout? Then Walm's World is the place to be! Not only do you get a one on one session without any distractions but each workout is different. He challenges you to your MAX and the phrase "I can't" do not exist in his world. Even from someone like myself who goes to the gym, he's taught me how to correct my form properly and you see the results almost immediately. Definitely give a shot if you're looking for a new challenge and some variety!! Hey Guys! Here's an update: Still going strong with my training with Walm and I must say the results are definitely paying off! My strength has increased significantly. The weights that were once my challenging weight is now my starting weight. My arms and legs have become much more toned and defined, which is what all women want when wearing a cute top or dress . Walm is definitely a True Motivator who pushes you beyond your self limits because he sees the strength and greatness with all of his clients. He also recently upgraded his gym with tons of new equipment, so there's never expect a basic cookie cutter workout. Each session is a variety of body weight and weight training so you won't ever get bored. The gym also offers a variety of different classes targeted towards any specific goal you have in mind such as circuit training, boxing, and group classes! Walm is an amazing trainer. When I first came to him, I handed him a written list of my goals. From day 1, he did his best for me to achieve them, and kept me motivated. If you're a first timer they ask that you go in early for orientation where you fill out paperwork, pick out your gloves and learn the different punches and kicks. I recommend going for the orientation or you'll be so confused because the class is fast tempo, so I found that the orientation helped a lot. They also provide you with a free bottle of water on your first session. Keep in mind that the location is on a busy street metered parking street in Newark. I am also so happy that Wheeler park welcomes everyone from all over NJ (and elsewhere). Coming from out of the county will cost you a bit more, but not much. If you live outside of Union County it is $4.00 for kids ($2.00 in county) and $6.00 for adults ($3.00 in county). This splash pad has every water feature a kid could ever need - from bigger twisty water slides, to a small dragon water slide. Also, water guns that you can shoot each other with, a pirate boat, water shooting up from the ground, and much more. My kids spent a little over 2 hours here and had an absolute blast. We've been here about 3 times and it never disappoints. Just be sure to bring some sort of shade covering. There isn't much cover at the splash pad so we usually bring our small beach tent with us. There is also a dry playground in the splash pad gated area where kids can play too. They have staff who help keep the kids safe and to make sure everyone goes down the water slides safe and sound. I highly recommend Wheeler Spray Park on a hot summer day.
