Tourist here! I always try to find high quality restaurants when in different cities. This place had great reviews and I know why. It's a classy and yet down to earth kind of place. You are treated well by the servers and the food speaks for itself! The place was packed which I heard is a locals favorite for upscale type of food/restaurant. Some folks were dressed up and we were dressed in casual clothing as it was a spur of the moment find for dinner. We were not looked down upon due to our attire, which made me happy. Now let's talk about the food! I had the short rib with risotto. We love risotto and I typically order it if on the menu. Mine was served a bit cold so I told my server who right away sent it back and got me a hot fresh plate. Manager came over and apologized as well. The short rib was so tender and delicious and the risotto was fabulous. Hubs had the elk and he raved about it as well as the risotto. We left very impressed and would definitely recommend you give this place a try. But call ahead and get reservations just to ensure you get a seat.

Second time visiting tonight, and like the first amazing service and great food. It's a small restaurant, so even on a busy night, there's only around 20 people there. The food is a little expensive for an average date, but it's great for any special occasions.

We had another great meal at Walnut Kitchen. The bread service featured cornbread and sourdough with sorghum butter. I decided to go for the sourdough and thought it was soft and had a strong sourdough taste. For my meal, I chose the Cajun Filet Pasta that has seasonal vegetables, mushrooms, Cajun cream sauce, and freshly made in house fettuccine. The Filet was cooked perfectly and slightly spicy from the Cajun seasoning on the steak. I thought the mushrooms had an earthy taste, and the vegetables were fresh. Lastly, the pasta was al dente, and the sauce was more smoky than spicy. I highly recommend trying the pasta. If you're afraid it's going to be spicy, it wasn't spicy at all. My mom ordered the pork chop which came with green apple + bacon chutney, campfire potatoes, cauliflower, arugula, and apple cider reduction. The pork was cooked perfectly and was juicy. (Sorry the picture didn't come out right) My Dad chose the chicken special, which was a stuffed chicken breast with spinach and cheese. Then it's wrapped in prosciutto and fried. It was served with asparagus and creamy polenta. Overall, I would highly recommend going to Walnut Kitchen if you want a delicious meal every time.

My husband and I are from out of town and when we travel we always look for a unique memorable dining experience. The Walnut Kitchen makes the top of our list! Immediately upon entering you are greeted by the friendly staff amidst a warm inviting dining room. The rustic down home charm create a cozy organic atmosphere. The menu has a broad offering of appetizers and entrees and includes elk, which is a favorite of mine to seek out. The knowledgeable staff made sure to go into great detail on the charcuterie selections and the presentation of the tomahawk steak was like nothing I've experienced. The layers of flavor in the coffee rub on the elk paired nicely with the meat and risotto and left me truly speechless. We were shocked to find out the greens were vegetarian-none of us would've guessed that from the flavor! The mamas brownie topped off our meal and if I were you I wouldn't miss it! The cheesecake center was a great compliment to the brownie and the ice cream and drizzle really set it all off. The walnut kitchen gave us everything we were looking for and more; from the ambiance to the selection to the quality of food and service. We will be back this summer for sure! Thank you to the head chef, staff and kitchen crew for a memorable dining experience!

Hard-working, always attentive without ever being over-bearing, kind, respectful, and very knowledgeable about every menu item we asked about. We know we can sometimes ask a lot of our servers, and Sergio never hesitated or faltered in providing some of the best service we have EVER experienced. Kudos to Sergio! Not to leave out the rest of the staff - the manager and everyone else we were in contact with were exceedingly warm and welcoming. And the food! Wow! Everything we ordered (soups, lobster, steaks, and desserts) was perfectly prepared and also among the best meals any of us have ever had. My wife and I have spent a lot of time in Southern Carolina and have become huge fans of She Crab soup and we didn't think we would ever have soup as good as we get there, but we were wrong. The She Crab soup at Foothills Milling Company was better than any we've ever had, anywhere. The steaks were cooked to the perfect temperature and were seasoned just right, and the lobster was amazing. This was seriously among the best dining experiences any of us have ever had, and we will happily recommend Foothills Milling Company to everyone we know. We cannot wait for our next visit. Thank you to Sergio, the chef(s), and the rest of the staff for making our Mother's Day celebration so special.

I decided on the Orechiette Mushroom Pasta, with a nice South American Malbec. So happy with both...the pasta was delicious, with the mushrooms and tomatoes cooked and spiced to perfection. And the maybe paired well with the pasta. Fabulous and delicious meal, and when next I am in Maryville I will be happy to partake again.

It's an established God-blessed restaurant chain already, but I digress. Anyways, that's why there are no pictures in this review. So, we get there (put our names on the list from before we left home using the app, which is honestly the best way to do it) and we're seated within minutes with nice warm rolls. Now these rolls were beautiful. Huge. Fluffy. Delicious. Only problem is I don't eat the cinnamon butter, so when I asked for regular butter from our server (waitress? How are we referring to people now? I feel like it's constantly changing... Imma just call her by name cause homegirl the legit ONLY reason for this review) and told her I'd like a good amount Alexis came back with a GOOD AMOUNT. Never have I ever had enough butter at Texas Roadhouse in order to actually enjoy my rolls. But let me tell you, anything we asked of Alexis she went OVER AND ABOVE. Went looking for Ginger-Ale for me. Also, why ya'll ain't got no Ginger-Ale? We needa figure that out and get on that one. Please and Thank you. She took my sweet potato loaded like a regular potato instead of all the sweet stuff in it, like a champ. Even said she would give it a try. It's amazing. Mix it with that regular loaded potato and man. That's good eating. Add in a bite of steak! Yes! Thank ya Jesus! Anyways, this isn't really about the amazing food here. We all know they steak is the best for this price? Yes! Absolutely! And you know what, the service is usually good too, but this young lady need a raise, manager position, special little parking spot near the door, and a bunch of trainees. Let that one sink in. Anyways, Alexis is literally the best. So go to Texas Roadhouse ask for Alexis (unless I'm there, then don't cause we want her) and enjoy good food and absolutely amazing service.

Address: 1139 Franck St. Alcoa, TN 37701 Food: 5/5 I got the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich, and it's the best chicken sandwich in Blount County! Perfectly crispy and sauced. The flavors are great, and it's cooked excellently every single time. The fries were also very good and seasoned well. My mom got the Bacon Jam Burger, and she absolutely loved it! Great flavors, but the one thing she would change is having the bacon cooked more so it's crispy instead of floppy. We also got the Nachos for an appetizer, and they were honestly the best nachos I've ever had! The chili and jalapeño cheese sauce were the stars of the dish, and the chips were perfect and didn't break at all. What impressed me the most was that the last time my mom got the nachos, they were not very appealing, but this time around the presentation was spot on. This tells me that this restaurant listens to criticism and fixes its mistakes/issues. ‍ Service: 5/5 Matthew was our server today, and he did a great job! Service was fast, and the staff did an excellent job informing us about additions to the menu. Atmosphere: 5/5 This restaurant is always clean, and the vibes are amazing.
