Dr. Rhoten is fine for regular dental business, but I would advise against using him for a occlusal guard. I had regular jaw pain before, but I was in life altering chronic pain for months while trying out the guard and getting adjustments. Even though I shelled out hundreds on the piece I had to start using my old retainer piece just to function. He's a fine person and regular Dr., but please use caution in regard to jaw issues. When I checked out, I was told there was no charge for my cleaning (insurance covered), but handed me a bill for $180 for nitrous! I was flabbergasted.
