Nevertheless, I took the truck over to Generations and had them take a look. The gave me a fair quote and scheduled the work. When I got the truck back it looked like brand new again! They fixed the cosmetic hurt I put on it and then washed the truck and vacuumed the inside! Also, they quoted me 3 days and got it done in 2. She received an insurance check that covered the estimated costs of repair, but because the insurance company had totaled the car, the repair shop we had it at originally wouldn't repair it (only dealt with insurance). Because of this, we shopped around for smaller companies willing to work on her vehicle. We found F&B Collision and contacted them. Dax and Noah were polite, professional, and accommodating. Because the vehicle was still drivable, my mom kept it while F&B ordered the parts. In total, I believe the car was in the shop for about 3 weeks. We did get a couple of completion dates that were missed... I believe there was an issue with one of the ordered parts being damaged, some additional damage found, and possibly an issue with technician(s) being out unexpectedly(?). We understood since these seem to be normal items to deal with when doing repairs; and, since it is a smaller shop, it's not like they can have another resource to take over the repairs if someone is out. F&B even covered the cost of some additional items to keep within the estimate. Much appreciated. My mom picked up the car yesterday and it looks wonderful. She is very happy, so THANK YOU. I haven't checked under the hood yet, but I'm not expecting any issues. If we do run into any problems with the repairs, I have full faith that F&B will stand behind their work and make it right...
