Ordered from there and was told that it would be a little over an hour for delivery. Told them that was OK. By 2hrs I called them back. Said food was on the way. 30mins later we finally got it. And the only positive things I can say was it was hot and the fried donuts were good. However the chicken was dry and hard. I didn't even finish half and a friend ate 5pcs and 2 bites of the lo mein. One of the only things I miss about living in Greenwood is Wang Cai. Their egg rolls are enormous and delicious. They have these Szechuan dumplings that have almost a thicker broth base and then the dumplings just rest uponit, glazed and happy, ready to be devoured. Their delivery comes in under 20 minutes and If I order the dumplings and a small beef lo mein, I have about 4 meals. Wang Chi Is my favorite Chinese food on the west side of Greenwood it is the best Chinese food I think I might have ever had. Honestly, I wish I could give this ZERO STARS. First of all, we have loyally eaten Wang Cai for YEARS. There have been little issues that have concerned us, but none that were so bad that we wouldn't order from them again...until today. We ordered like normal - everything was perfect. Food was delivered on time, and the delivery man was as nice as could be. Then I began opening the containers. At first, I couldn't tell what I was opening. We were supposed to have roast pork w/ mushrooms & scallions ONLY (it came with everything but the kitchen sink), beef and mushrooms (this also came with everything but the kitchen sink), only snap peas w/ brown sauce (there were 10 snap peas in a bowl with tons of other veggies), fried dumplings (to which we got fried donuts (????)), and sweet and sour pork (but received chicken). Everything was messed up, but that was just the beginning. We called to have them bring different food out, or send the guy back with our money. I spoke with the counter girl (who spoke perfect english) & she was basically the translator between myself and the "owner". The owner decided that neither was acceptable, and screamed at me (via poor counter girl, although I could hear him on my end anyway). I eventually just gave up and took the loss, but they will NEVER get my business again. Rude owner and horrible business practices - something had to have changed in the past few months. read more

I tried this restaurant and ordered 2 sesame chickens...it was so dried out that it could not be eaten...so I contacted the owner to get a refund he said he would not refund but would send more chicken...but once burned on the food I just simply want my money back and he refused and I could hear him in the back ground being angry...hence this review...I had to eat the cost and not the chicken...I will never order from this restaurant again. We ordered carryout from this place tonight. Normally we go to egg roll number 1 but with the weather we decided to go someplace closer for carryout. The staff was nice and we ordered the food I took them well and went home. When we got home my girlfriend and I opened up our dinner in my chicken fried rice look like the rice have soy sauce all on it tasted funny I ordered chicken wings and they were pink inside. The wontons which were free were rubbery and not crispy at all. My girlfriend was not altogether pleased with her General Tso's Chicken in with the total state of the meal she went back to go see about a refund. What happened next was almost undescribable. Who we perceive to be the owners were in fact who are cooking came up dug through the food asked us why we wanted it back even though they listen to their complaints it seemed to fall on deaf ears. And then started talking in a foreign language yelling it started throwing stuff around in the end I was able to get a full refund. They said they were going to void the sale as of now it's still a pending transaction according to my bank. I would be wary of ordering food from this place as my girlfriend left scared. First time I ordered from there I used a discover card and ordered bout 30 dollars in food including a 2 litter. Well when they delievered it they forgot my 2 litter so I had to call them to bring it to me. It took them about 20 mins just to bring it to me. Now I ordered again today with the same discover card a little less amount tho they accepted my payment until I recieved my food and had to call them back because I had multiple hairs in my food then he rudely hung up on me. Then called me back telling me "Oh and by the way we don't accept discover." as I proceeded to tell him I'm sorry but that's not the first time he hung up on me again. I'm really pissed about this I over looked it the first time and yet again it was worse the second. I would NOT recommend it read more

We placed our first order from Wang Cai this evening. With the exception of the very nice delivery guy, it was the worst experience I have had in a very long time. All of the food was hard as a rock and tasted terrible! I called the store (I cannot call this place a restaurant) and calmly explained my concerns with the food. I was told, "It's the same as always". I explained that I don't know about "always" because this was my first order. I was then told that when I order next time, I should come in instead of getting delivery so that I could check my order first. I explained that if this is the way the first always is, I would not be ordering again. "Okay" was the answer. My husband then took the food up there to show them what the problem was and see if they would offer a resolution. The guy opens the container, sticks his hands in it and breaks open a piece of chicken and looks at my husband as if to say, "what's wrong with it?"!! We will not be doing any further business with Wang Cai and we will never recommend this place to anyone. Pathetic! Disgusting! Horrible! read more

Ordered a quick lunch here because the place I usually go is closed while they go visit China. Placed an order for the lunch special which was Kung Bao chicken with wonton soup, and I also ordered some crab Rangoon. Paid a little over ten bucks, so price is right, but the food is so not. This place gets two stars only because the wonton soup was good. The crab Rangoon was chewy and tasted like it had been in a fridge too long, the sweet and sour sauce had congealed by the time I got back to work (10 minutes away), and the Kung Bao chicken was AWFUL. The rice tasted old, like they made it earlier and just reheated it kind of old. The vegetables and peanuts tasted burnt, the whole thing was oily, and to top it off, the chicken was rubbery and had like this jelly fat on it. I ate the soup and Rangoon, but I couldn't bring myself to get even part of the way through my main dish. Go to Egg Roll #1 or Red Sun if you want quick Asian food. read more
