Signature Crab Rangoon Signature Poke Bowl Pinot Grigio
    Lora S.

This is near the SIUE campus. Had dinner here and it was very good. Ordered the Signature Rangoon and Signature Poke Bowl with Ahi. To drink I went with a Pinot Grigio. Service was quick and friendly. I was checked on many times and never felt rushed even though I came in close to closing time. I sat in the bar area. It clean and roomy. I would definitely return the next time I am in Edwardsville.

Went to Wang Gang last night. I had the strawberry salad with shrimp, which I always suggest they put in the large shrimp rather than the small shrimp. It has a much better flavor and it was good. My husband had the lettuce wraps, which are always good. the service was good, the ambience was OK. I would suggest this as

Ordered a Salmon poke bowl with "Sashimi style salmon". Salmon was smoked. I wish I had known that. I thought that it would be raw but I guess that's why it's indicated as "style". The rice had parts where it was hard. Not sure why. Most likely wasn't fresh. Everything else was fine. Dimly lit area with comfortable seating. The waitress was polite and responsive.

    Menu

Here I am traveling to Edwardsville Illinois for work and of course I am starving after a long day of travel. There are so many dinners choices but tonight I feel like trying some Asian cuisine. I stopped in at Wang Gang Asian, I was seated righted away. The atmosphere is upbeat, with retro 80's music playing. I ordered lettuce wraps to start WOW! The appetizer was enough for three people and it was delicious! My main order was Thai spiced peanut stir fry, which I was regretfully pretty full from the lettuce wraps. I did manage to eat some of the spiced peanut stir fry with chicken and brown rice. The stir fry was as very flavorful with a nice coconut flavor! My server Will was excellent with helpful recommendations and I never had to wait for my drink to be refilled. They had many other dinner choices to choose from, so when I come back I will put this on my list to revisit

Great happy hour again! (They recently changed their happy hour so not everything is included but the starters, drinks, fried rice, and noodles are still on there!) What we ordered: poké bowl, buffalo cauliflower, dumplings, and lettuce wraps. I loved the buffalo cauliflower! We had a problem with the first poké bowl. The rice was a little undercooked. The waitress was a little rude when we pointed this out. She took it and gave us a new one so it was all good!

    Drunkin noodle

Food had good texture and balance. Veggies were cooked but not over cooked. Service was on point and quick with refills. Would recommend

I love this place and would eat here a lot more, but hubby is not a fan. He says he always leaves hungry. I always leave with half of mine! lol Anyway, we went at an odd time and were the only diners in the place, so we had great service! Hubby got the beef lo mein and loved it. I had the fried rice with chicken and it was delicious! We had the ginger ribs for our appetizer. I'm a happy girl when I get to eat here. Oh and I love the tunes being played

I promise it's worth it. Kitchen 95 is a Taiwanese restaurant located off of Page in Overland area. They used to be partners of Taike Shabu Shabu, the biggest Taiwanese restaurant in St Louis area back in the day so you know the food would be fire. My favorite is their fried boneless chicken leg, which would be offered for free if your order is over $50. It tastes almost the same as the one I had in Taiwan. It's crispy on the outside and super tender on the inside. Another dish that I love from here is the braised beef noodles soup. The broth was so flavorful and the meat was super soft. It's the best that I have had in the Stl area. Other dishes that I would recommend are the Hakka stir fried and the fish with black bean sauce but overall you can't really go wrong with anything. What amazes me is that all these amazing dishes were prepared by one person, who was also the owner. It's definitely hard work running this business for them so please be patient, and kind when leaving reviews.

Three Cup Chicken with rice $14 - This dish is one of their popular dishes and is all chicken covered in a tasty sauce. It's not my kind of dish because I prefer a variety vs all meat. I knew they don't take reservations and won't seat an incomplete party, but I still got there a little early just to see if we could grab a table for five. I was surprised (in a good way) when they seated me before everyone else arrived. I even told the hostess I didn't mind waiting, but she encouraged me to go ahead and sit, which was really nice. Our server was super friendly and made sure I was taken care of while I waited. As my friends started arriving, he was quick to get them settled in too. We started with some non-alcoholic drinks and spent some time chatting before diving into the menu. It was honestly hard to pick just one thing, so I went with both the chicken pho and fried rice. I knew I wouldn't finish it all, but I really wanted both. Once we ordered, everything moved smoothly--our server checked in, made sure drinks were filled, and kept things organized. When the food came out, everything looked amazing and tasted just as good. Of course, with all the catching up we were doing, it took us a while to finish, but there was no rush at all. When we were ready, he brought the checks and was more than happy to split them out (always appreciate that!). Before leaving, I ordered a to-go meal for my husband and asked for a box for my leftovers. Our server actually took my plate and packed everything up in the back, which I wasn't expecting but really appreciated. He also brought out the to-go order right when it was ready. Honestly, everything, from the space to the service to the food, was just great. I'm already looking forward to going back again soon.

Love the new cocktail bar they added. It take away some seating however people can eat at bar too. We ordered cocktails while waiting for our table which took only a few minutes. My husband tried their version of an old-fashioned which used both bourbon and rum!!! It was good but he said definitely a "sipper". They have a full bar and much better wine selection now too. Starters for us were a bowl of wonton soup and the spring rolls. Both were good but rolls a little rubbery to me. The highlight of our meals was charbroiled pork. We are not capable of ordering anything else. Ha. I get 15.04 and he got 15.03 which includes an egg roll. Divine food!! The people who own this place are so friendly. Our waiter was also very nice. I also quite enjoyed the peanut sauce, it offered an additional nutty profile to the wrap. The only downside is that the rice paper wrap can easily fall apart. The spicy eggplant had a great flavor, but the texture was quite soft. It had a nice kick, and a subtle sweetness. The texture wasn't my favorite, so I don't think I'd order it again.

We stopped in after running an errand in Clayton and found out it's Clayton Restaurant week.
