Sat at the bar and took about 15 minutes for one of the bartenders to give me a menu. Another 10 min to take my drink order. My husband and I came to have dinner and were told we could sit at the bar for their happy hour. We got there and sat outside. Others sat after us and we were ignored. We thought because it was pretty empty outside we might get better service inside. We sat inside and were still ignored by the staff the whole time. After waiting 20 minutes, we decided to leave. Others were getting their drinks and orders in, but no one even came by to give us water or even acknowledge us. We thought it would be a nice place to come but we were wrong. We will never come back and I hope management addresses this with their staff. read more

Genuinely incredible restaurant for so many reasons. I will give just a few. Me and some friends decided to check it out and we were pleasantly surprised to find our new favorite restaurant. First, the food. We shared the crudo and bone marrow appetizer. The crudo was fresh and tasty. I had bone marrow before at other places (and was honestly not too big a fan) but trying it here has completely changed my opinion. It was so good! For my main, I had the steak and frites which was a generous amount of fantastic steak and tasty frites. Not overly salty which is my usual complaint at other places. The food overall was simply 10/10. Setting aside that the food was easily top 5 restaurants in OC, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. They gave great recommendations and even when I took an awkward amount of time to choice my meal, they had a smile on their face. Additionally, the ambiance was great with these awesome floor to ceiling screens. I recommend this restaurant to everyone I know. Super cool and I can't wait to come back! read more

The food is good but not great. We ordered filet mignon and jidori chicken.The service is very good and the atmosphere is nice. However, the food is overpriced for menu items that aren't unique or exceptional. I wouldn't return even on a special occasion. Some people must like it here and at other locations. Nonetheless, I see it as mainly an upper scale bar within a hotel. They offer some very tasty and unique cocktails. read more

What a great place, we got sat immediately and our bartender/server Eddie was so welcoming. He created such a unique experience, we trusted him with our whole meal and he did not disappoint, the octopus dish was so yummy. It really hit the spot, he even told us about all the protein in octopus, he had no idea how important that is to me. The drinks were so delicious, he really listened to our request and ran with it. And he was just so kind, he really made us feel like we were the only ones there, all the while still taking care of everyone else. We will definitely be back. Brunch was amazing. ordered the Pork Belly Mac and Cheese and it was the best I have ever had. George was our server and was exceptional. Loved the outdoor patio and the bar was fully stocked with plenty of comfortable seating. For the price I thought the food was pretty mid. The bill came out to 300 which wasn't an issue. I just thought the food was very mediocre. It tastes like hotel restaurant food. I was shocked when I found it wasn't apart of the hotel. The lamb was the best food and I don't even like lamb chops.For the same price last month we went to ocean 48 which I thought was way better. Super disappointed. Had such a hype going in. Screen on the wall is super cool but it took 15 minutes for someone to even get to our table, drinks took forever. Nothing is worse than seeing other tables sat after you getting service first, especially when on a time limit :-( Scallops and burger were good but not worth the price. Manager saw we were upset with how long it took to get a server over and did nothing nor stopped by. Not a good sign. Waitress was super friendly and not her fault she didn't know she got sat but for $150 for 2 meals and 2 drinks each, feel ripped off. I know they are fairly new but .... I went to warehouse 72 with my friends a week ago and I was extremely pleased and amazed with everything. The ambience was perfect, the food was so delicious, and the wait was not long at all! I got the charcuterie board and the fried mozzarella for appetizers and they were so out of this world. My go to is the lamb chops. They are cooked perfectly and are seasoned to perfection. And the desserts, especially the frozen smores are to DIE for. Best food I ever had. I was very impressed! read more

Ate here last night with my family and girlfriend! Food was fantastic! (we got the Pork Belly Mac, Salmon, Lamb Chops, Kimchi Fried Rice, and Angel Hair Pasta) I personally got the Pork Belly Mac but tried a bit of everyone's and all the food was delicious! The Mac was surprisingly creamy yet light and paired great with the pork (crispy and rich). I would highly recommend the lamb chops and Angel Hair pasta too. The service was stellar, the ambience was relaxing, and the experience overall was terrific! Definitely coming back when I'm in the area. read more

I had the opportunity to eat here for a brunch last Sunday in a group of 6 people. The restaurant and bar are brand new but they are open. It is located in the Hyatt Hotel right as you enter. The decor and food blew us away. The feel is upscale but relaxed. Almost an entire wall is a giant LED screen that plays different scenes and animations and manages to really add to the ambiance without being a distraction. There were constant comments from our table on how cool the screens were. The food absolutely blew us away, and what started as a sit-down breakfast ended up with us ordering a spread and sharing food so we could experience it all. Our servers, Devin and Richard, were great as well. Warehouse 72 is a fantastic addition to the Irvine food scene, and I look forward to trying out more of the menu! read more

I came here for lunch last Sunday with my wife and daughter, and we had an incredible experience start to finish. The atmosphere was very bright and refreshing. Our server Maryella just might be the best server we've ever had. Not only did she constantly address us by our last name, which most people butcher, but she was so helpful in the presence of some of the most indecisive people on earth. She knew the menu and was able to help us navigate through our indecision. She captivated my wife with the suggestion of adding scallops to her cabbage fried rice bowl. Some of the best scallops we've ever tasted. I had the poke bowl which was absolutely perfect, and my daughter was crazy about her truffle pasta. Restaurant is attached to the hotel. This is hard to find and you need to go through the hotel reception to get inside. Parking is valet or sef park in the back $35. Food was hotel level nothing special. Very limited menu. Food was bland, vegi options was limited to broccoli. Staff just wasn't interested in bringing anything we asked for. Couple next to use complained that they wait 15 with no one coming to their table. We spent $200 for two and $35 for parking. read more

We went to the Hyatt hotel on a Friday night to give the Warehouse a try. The Self parking is a little walk away and we opted for valet $9. The restaurant is on the lobby level which features a nice modern and Mediterranean design. We liked the open and bright atmosphere in the restaurant and a slightly secluded bar from the main dining area. The service was impeccable and mostly younger staff took good care of us. We saw a blend of families and hotel guests in shorts and what appeared to be business dinners. That said if you dress business casual you are among the best dressed. Now unfortunately the culinary experience was below par for the price. We had a $30 truffle angel hair pasta and a $50 salmon. While the salmon was well prepared it came on a large plate accompanied by only a few vegetables. My pasta left a lot to be desired for, it had no seasoning and tasted and looked like a porridge with cream, too soft and mushy so I made an effort to save it with some additional salt and pepper. We left fairly disappointed and won't be back despite the good service. The total of $130 for a dinner for 2 including valet, one cocktail and 2 plates doesn't align with what was served. Maybe cut prices in half or rely on hotel guests only will be a good strategy for the Warehouse but luckily locals do have plenty of alternatives in Irvine, Costa Mesa and Newport Beach. read more

This is a new hot spot in Irvine inside the new hyatt regency Irvine hotel. The whole property is new and nice. Looks like more global food options so very contemporary American food and really good, fine dining quality food, you can taste the freshness. They do offer free validation for 3 hour self parking. Make this town mozzarella cheese in-house do this is definitely my best recommendation. Coming back for sure with a large group next time since they have a private dining room.
