Warehouse has nice facilities but we drove nearly an hour to see a 6.20 Fabelmans. We get to their automatic ticket dispenser and it tells us that the screening is full. Okay, but is it really, or are we just late for the screening? A human ticket seller might have helped. I saw on Google that they had another screening but the man taking tickets told us they didn't. Huh? I checked Google again. 9.40 screening still there. Tried to buy a ticket that way and it turned into a ticket for Knives Out Glass Onion. Why can't the Warehouse website and the Google page coordinate better? I ended up driving another hour to watch the movie and O that theater was almost empty. Makes you think. Forget Warehouse, Angelika Film Center has all the seats you want. read more

We have visited Warehouse Cinemas Frederick a couple of times now. The tickets are cheaper than other surrounding movie theaters by a few dollars. But they have an extensive menu of food and draft beers. There's an bar with tons of seating. And the theater seats recline and are heated. The movie going experience is definitely worth it. And the food is even satisfying. The fountain drinks are free refills and offer Coke products. Today we ordered the churros, the classic cult which is a grilled cheese panini, and pepperoni and cheese flatbread pizza. Definitely worth coming for a fun movie theater experience and would highly recommend. read more

Hands down the nicest group of employees work here. We had the best customer service. The food was really great. I had the chili dog my kids had the pizza - both were way better than you ever get at a movie theater. It was the beginning of the day so I didn't get to try out the bar. But the bar looked great! I went here last night for the first time and it was great! Very nostalgic going back to Frederick Towne Mall for a movie. It has been over a decade, probably more, since the Hoyts Cinema was in business. The space itself is well designed and like the name states, very warehouse like! There are cool elements throughout that make you feel like you're actually somewhere industrial. I really enjoyed their use of shipping containers, like at the bar area. Which leads me to my next subject, the bar! This bar is legit, and very well stocked. I was happy to see a lot of locally made options such as McClintock and Tenth Ward Distilling. The "Pour Your Own" beer area was similar with a few local breweries as well such as Attaboy. Onto the theater area! The room was very impressive. The seats are super comfortable with little buttons if you wish to kick your feet out or fully recline. The Dolby sound system was great and you can really feel the movie through your seats. These elements combined really help it feel like an upgrade from your traditional theater experience. Overall I'd give this place a 5/5. I look forward to coming back! read more

First time visiting and it wasn't anything different from any other movie theater. Prices for drinks and popcorn are ridiculously expensive and the customer service wasn't great. Right when you walked in the person that check your tickets barely smiled and did not have a welcoming attitude. At the line of the concession stand the catchier was worse he just stands there with this frown face that made me feel uncomfortable and that I was bothering him. I got my items and left said thank nothing was said back. The show room was easy to spot and had very comfortable seating, the cleanliness was not great between the seating I was able to see old candy and popcorn from who knows when. Please don't add too much salt to the popcorn it was so salty I couldn't even finish it. The expectations from what you see in IG stories to what you get in person are not the same and they are disappointing. read more

Great first visit! I loved the industrial feel - and I fully support their focus on adaptive reuse of underused properties. (The doors to the theaters are shipping container doors - very creative!) The overstuffed seats are covered in soft, black leather. They recline fully, have heating (and maybe cooling), and include a small tray. They were , by far, the most comfortable theater seats I have ever experienced. If anything, the one small change I would recommend is to highlight the seat numbers better. We entered the theater after the previews that already started, and it wasn't very easy to identify which seats were ours. this will definitely be my "go to" movie theater from now on. read more

Really nice theater; it's new so everything looks great and is very clean. The overall design is very aesthetically pleasing. They have a bar that serves a bunch of mixed drinks and has a nice selection of beer; they have a large selection of food as well although we didn't try it. I also really like that they seem to do fun/gimmicky things related to movies, for example they show retro (80s) movies for only $5, they have special mixed drinks based on movies, and even completely out of the box things like being able to smash a car for the movie Unhinged. Not sure if that's just to get people in during covid, but hopefully they continue. The theaters themselves are solid; the seats are comfortable (and heated!), the sound and picture are great. Both movies we saw there were in smaller theaters (~60 capacity) so I'm not sure if they have other theaters laid out differently. There are a few weird things to note about this place though: - You can't just buy a beer, you have to buy a card (have to load it initially with $20 + $3 fee) and you use it on the tap to pour your own beer. This is sort of cool and fun but also sort of annoying. The beers vary widely in price, but you can pour any amount you like. You have to go to the bar to re-activate the card anytime after that day if you want to use it again even if it has money left. - The bar line can move slow since they only have one or two guys working and they have to make mixed drinks and deal with adding money to and re-activating cards - I suggest buying tickets online as they only have 2 of the 4 ticket machines turned on. We went on a saturday when it was crowded and got stuck behind two large groups who both seriously took over 10 minutes to get their tickets. Second time we went we bought tix online and got right in. - The only thing I really don't like about the theaters (at least the two we have been in) is that they only have 1 aisle and not an aisle on both sides of the seats like every other theater I've ever been to. Meaning that if you choose seats on the left you sit against a wall and you have to walk past all the other seats in the row to get in or out. The view from against the wall isn't very good either. That said, overall this was a really nice theater experience. It's a bit far away from me, plus the fact its a bit more expensive than other theaters means I won't be hitting it up on the regular, but I will definitely return if they have any good events or movies not in other theaters. read more

Absolutely phenomenal theater. Staff are extremely diligent about proper cleaning and disinfecting. Free refills on any size soda or popcorn! The flatbread pizzas are delicious. There is also an extensive selection of beer on tap that you pour yourself using a nifty little card system. All in all, I'm in love with this place and I hope they thrive and remain in the community for a long time. read more

This was our first movie outing since the pandemic struck and it did not disappoint! Very unique and cool layout from the grand entrance/hallway that led to the actual theater. Lots of social distancing markers and COVID-19 policy reminders outside and inside the auditoriums which is always a plus. All employees wore masks regardless of where they were working. The entrances to the individual auditoriums were one of a kind with their shipping container style! The auditoriums were huge and they made sure patrons were socially distant from one another. The reclining and seat heater features were great and is a good addition for a movie outing/date night. The sound system and visuals were incredible for the movie we saw, Tenet. All in all, a fresh take on an old business that is cinema and will definitely come back again in the future! read more

I live in DC. People in Frederick should feel very lucky to have this amazing theater in their town. This would be the most popular theater if it were in DC and it would be hard to see a show due to its popularity. Everything about it is perfect, including the bathroom sinks which are so cool in design. Everything is well thought out in this place! Not only do you have a large array of food items to choose from but there is a separate bar area. The theaters are amazing. It's like a private experience. You get large reclining seats but plenty of walking room should you should you need to get by anyone. The reclining seats offer heat or cool. There is an automatic safety/conservation shut off to the seats so you may need to refresh the button a copy times during a movie. Takes all of 1/2 a second. My elderly father absolutely loves this theater, too. Anytime there's a movie he wants to see he asks me if it is showing at this theater. He lives in the general Frederick vicinity. Recently he, one of my sisters, a visiting brother from Boston and I saw a movie. My brother from Boston could not believe how cool the theater is. He said the same thing I said about DC. If this theater were in Boston it would be a mob scene all the time. The concept is just so cool. He was so impressed he took pictures to share with his wife. i hope Frederick supports this amazing theater! i have been there at least five times I would be there a lot more if I lived closer. Another thing I want to point out is that the staff is amazing. They truly are. Each time I've been there I've noticed superb customer service in all the employees. I was a tad reluctant to go to this cinema because I've always been a fan of Regal but ended up trying it out about 8 months ago. Wow!! Am I glad I did! I absolutely cannot use enough complimentary adjectives to describe Warehouse. In a nutshell (only because I'm posting this from my cell phone and am not a fan of essentially texting), it is clean. It is conveniently located, the prices are definitely fair (especially on $7 Tuesdays!), the food is great and the free refills? Yes, please! The individual theaters are small (idk if any individual theaters are larger, but the ones I've been in all have a capacity of 59). With a small theater, bad seats do not exist! Also, while the individual theaters may have limited seating, the theaters themselves do not feel small, claustrophobic, or cramped. In fact, you don't even really notice the size of the individual theater. That is most likely due to the seats. Oh, the seats!!! They are so incredibly comfortable! (I'd like a few of these in my rec room, please!) I truly believe that this location is the absolute nicest movie theater I've ever been to in my entire life. Run, don't walk! You won't regret it!!! First off, park around the backside of this building if you don't want to walk a block inside. Also, Tuesdays they have $7 movies all day. We came here today and theatre 3 was freezing and although the small reclining seats are heated it only heats the lower back and it shuts off after awhile. The bathroom faucet also wasn't working in the family bathroom so we had to walk all the way around to other restrooms to wash our hands, not very sanitary during these times (and looking at other reviews on here there sinks have had issues for like a month now, kind of ridiculous). Our popcorn also seemed to be all the tiny bits leftover at the bottom when they made it, kind of disappointing since it smelled so good walking into the place, and 2 drinks and a regular popcorn easily costed more than the 2 movie tickets. read more

I want to say "thank you", to Matt at The Warehouse Cinemas. We experienced something there recently and we have never had this happen in the past. I reserved handicap seats for my wheelchair bound daughter and her Personal Assistant. They had there tickets and went to get there seats. Unfortunately there was two young girls seated already in the seats. The Personal Assistant showed them the tickets and asked if they would move, please. They wouldn't move after asking twice. My daughter had to set in another area and it wasn't what I paid for online. You also have to pay extra fees to get these seats, and we always reserve as there isn't that many handicap seats. I sent an email to the company explaining this but I wasn't looking for a hand out. I wanted them aware that this is an ongoing situation as it has happened alot with ppl needing these seats. He apologized and gave 2 tickets to the movies and 2 popcorn. This is what I call someone who did care and I support this theater with all my heart. read more

I was really blown away with the amenities and nice chairs that they have at this facility. The staff were friendly and everything in the theater looks recently renovated. Warehouse Cinemas is the best theater in the area. It is unique in that they have higher quality movie theater food as well as a full bar with a pour your own beer wall with about 20-30 options. You pay by the ounce so you can pour yourself a couple ounces to taste a beer before pouring a full glass. The theater seating is power reclines with seat heaters and a tray for your food and drink. The screen is angled slightly down at your seat so when your are reclined, you are looking straight on. The pricing for the theater is very reasonable and only slightly more expensive than a regular movie theater. read more

So disappointed in this visit and the ridiculous response we received from the manager on duty when we shared the opportunities that needed to be address for the next guests. First thing- it was 56 degrees in our theater. We came out to ask for heat. Everyone had hoodies up, rubbing their hands together, whispering complaints. We were all frozen. I spent much of the movie time in the hall trying to warm up. Not very fair.To top it off, we went to the restroom on the way out. In the ladies room I had to ask a stranger to hand me a wad of toilet paper- even though there is space for 2 giant rolls. There are 4 sinks. 3 don't work. The 4th has no soap. Only one of the two hand dryers worked. The sanitizer was empty. So I had nicely rinsed hands. I met my husband in the lobby who approached me right away and said neither hand dryer worked in the men's room and there were no paper towels. So, while he had soap, he left with hands dripping. We approached a manager and did our best to discuss the issues for her to address. She interrupted each time. But an excuse each time. She kept blaming her team members, which was upsetting to me. She said she's sorry but she can't go in the men's room to check it or put paper towels in because she's a girl. When I explained she can and why it's ok, she said, "Well we don't do it like that here." She addressed the ladies room issue simply as I have a technician called, and she didn't know about the soap, sanitizer, or toilet paper but she would get on to her ushers or whatever she called them- her team members. The heat- she said she had ushers in and out frequently throughout the movie checking it funny enough, my husband and I sat in the back in the first and second seat Not a soul came in. Again she said she would have to have a discussion with them. Have a nice day- she finished up with- have a nice day. One of the worst things that happened is that one of her team members was behind her listening the whole time. I don't have pics of everything but I took pics of the funniest thing- a sign to use the other sinks and then out of order signs on the other sinks. read more

The service was amazing from check in to the bar to the concessions. This place is so cool, I hope they do well. We didn't get to try any food other than the popcorn (oh hey free refills!) but we had a cocktail and sampled the self serve beer. The seats are HEATED AND cooled! AND they recline. I mean, what?! Can't say enough good things. One thing to note, the theater we were in only had one aisle on the right, while the photo in the online seat selection showed aisles on both sides. Only mentioning this because my boyfriend really likes to sit in an aisle seat. read more

Not enough seating!!! Me and my brother were looking foreword to watching. The new uncharted movie on a Monday and we thought it would be no issue given the date. Lo and behold I get there and it's sold out mind you we got there before previews even started I look at the other movies they were showing not many peaked our interest and I got fed up went to the counter and asked if there was anything they could do. All of their movies around the 7 o clock range were somehow booked so we had to wait 45 minutes to see a movie we had no interest in watching and the cashier had a awful attitude about the whole thing. I personally love this theatre but this experience has swooned me in the completely other direction. read more
