The service was great and no stress for my family from the beginning to end. Betty helped us with getting documents prepared, signed, and coordinated the service. I stumbled upon Richards company and from the moment I spoke to him I knew that he was sincere. It is difficult to lose a loved one or family member, and through this difficult transition, Betty and Richard were so patient and supportive throughout each step. Our sister, who lived alone, had passed away at home. After the coroner had been called, they then called Warm Wishes Funeral Services, who immediately went to retrieve her body. Not a typical place for me to review but felt incline to personally thank the staff at Warm Wishes Funeral Services. Perhaps, someone in your life will need guidance and I would recommend checking them out as I think it's a hidden gem in OC area. Pros: 1. Flexible & accommodating to fit your budget (customized funeral package) 2. Rates are competitive (lower than most that I had quoted). 3. Staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable with all aspects of the process. They are sincere & genuinely compassionate about your situation. 4. English + Bi-lingual / Tri-lingual -- Richard speaks all languages which is helpful to my family. Chinese, Vietnamese, Spanish, French.. amazing guy. 5. Meeting at business office (I personally like the professional office meet vs going to those funeral home places/chapel that creeps me out). 6. COVID safe practice: They have sanitizer, temperature check, face mask, questionnaire, and washroom available. They are aware of the CDC policy and guidelines. They wear mask and requires 6 feet distance. 7. International shipping arrangements that I quoted around and it was the cheapest that was able to ship out within 2 weeks of my request (they had issues but was able to trouble shoot and work things out to accommodate me). Especially during covid 19 TSA security requirements. Betty was knowledgeable on the process and has the connections to expedite. Cons: None so far as they went beyond my expectation. Overall, Betty and Richard are very personable and professional that you're able to be yourself. You don't feel intimidated or feel a shame to ask questions or be emotional. They follow through with returning calls, providing status, and reminding you about things (yes, during times like this, I'm not all there so very helpful to have them work out the details). The service was perfect and everyone was able to say goodbyes. Tips: 1. Check out their website for promotional package plans 2. Research price flexibility and package plans. However, I found that the bigger establishments are too commercialized and the price are padded with overhead cost. 3. Find a balance.... meaning I wouldn't go too cheap to compromise the service quality. I called around and some were down right rude or just sarcastic. So my advice is set priority.. my balance was quality service, staff has compassion to "LISTEN" and create a better package option. 3. Funeral Services are brokers, which is a benefits us. They have more vendor choices to find rates and are more flexible with package plans. Whereas, if I went with a funeral home, they are limited to their venue. read more

My father died and this was my first experience with being the one in charge for something like this. Betty was so kind and compassionate and worked with me to get my father cremated. She made the whole process as painless as possible and worked with my fathers social worker to get everything sorted for me. I appreciate her going above and beyond in such a difficult time. He walked my family and I through the process, paid close attention to details and was sympathetic to our needs. It was intimate, beautiful, warm, peaceful and just what we asked for. His staff helped obtain permits and death certificates; and we got them much faster than expected.
