I want to give a big thank you to the following sales people who assisted me with finding the right washing machine, Cody and Alfino. My machine broke down and I needed a new one quickly. Thursday morning I went in looking for a speed queen, top loader, no fancy electronics. I walked out with a promise it would be delivered to me the next afternoon and it was, early afternoon! So far I've done two loads, which were a lot faster than my old front loader, and cleaner. Thank you to Alfino, Cody, and Gorgeous George, the dog. My delivery guys were super polite and ever so helpful, Garling and Alex. I am so impressed with Warrendale Appliance and very happy to recommend them. This company is a nightmare. They charged my credit card almost $2000 after I placed an order for two A/C units. The product was never delivered or installed as promised by the sales person Nick and the the sale manager Cody. Cody then accused me of knowing that the product was back ordered. I would never knowingly pay for a back ordered product. I asked them to cancel my order. They have refused to refund my money. This place is criminal. The owner has been written up about as well. We purchased an oven from them that was a real lemon and stopped working after 3 months. They finally replaced it with one just as bad. A technician came to fix it and it stopped working again the next day. We had no oven for Thanksgiving. Now it's December and we are getting the run around. They send someone who doesn't have the part and might come back next week. I've talked to everyone I can reach and they all say they will look into it but nothing ever happens and they don't call me back with answers. I just want a working oven for the holiday season! He gave me all the time I needed. It is about a month since I got my refrigerator which delivered in time promised, was in a great value and I am very happy with it. We had always gone to Warrendale for our appliances, unfortunately we won't anymore. The microwave & trim kit we bought in the beginning of June is still not right. It has been quite the saga. The microwave works, but the trim kit is imperfect with discolored corners (as far as I know they only sell new appliances and not seconds). We were told upon install that I would be able to clean the trim kit and it would be fine(not sure why the installer didn't attempt to clean it). This was not the case, I phoned Warrendale & sent photos and was told to try a different cleaner. I then went into the store and Nick told me I could buy the cleaner they sold(he treated me like I didn't know how to clean). Finally a different trip into the store Nick gave me a packet with a cloth to shine the stainless (Mind you, no apologies for any of the inconvenience). It did not solve the problem. About a month after the kit was installed(end of July) I went to the store and he (Nick) believed me this was a defect and gave me a 2nd kit and I was told the installer would be in touch with me. Finally, the end of Aug. the installer came and went to install the replacement trim kit I had been given end of July. That too was damaged. I was told that one would be ordered, and the item apparently is still back ordered. The saga continues 4 months after the initial purchase. There has been zero customer service on this. No apologies. I would not recommend spending your money at this establishment. I regret trying to shop local on this one. read more

I purchased an Electrolux stacking washer and dryer over 6 months ago. The washer stops before the end of it's cycle in all wash cycles. I reported this to Warrendale. I have now had 5 service providers and 2 plumbers come to "fix" the problem with no success. Warrendale told me they would "elevate" the issue to Electrolux more than 2 months ago. I have never heard back from them in spite of calling them weekly for the entire time. I'd never use Warrendale again. They don't stand behind the products they sell. read more

NEVER EVER SHOP HERE. They are deceptive with their sales (all of the items I purchased on Black Friday are listed for the same price months later at different stores). The manager doesn't know how to deal with customers, doesn't even spell my name right in our correspondences. Worst of all, when they leave 3 foot gouges in your floor upon delivery, they will do their best to snake their way out of restitution. I'm in the process of seeking legal council now to remedy thousands of dollars worth of damage done by Warrendale Appliances. So unless you want to get ripped off, deal with terrible customer service, and pay 3x as much as your appliances to fix damages to your house, stay away from Warrendale Appliances like it's the plague. read more

The installers neglected to inspect the water connection and turns out the hose had been leaking for 4 weeks.They take zero responsibility for providing a faulty hose. I am now left to clean up mold from the installation and pay for a plumber to pull disconnect the gas dryer. The guy was a jerk on the phone talking to me like it's my fault that I haven't cleaned the mold yet. The delivery/installers jammed the wash machine into the wall REFUSED to take ownership or understand the problem. I would like to give NEGATIVE stars to Warrendale appliance for their lack of communication after they delivered me a damaged dryer. I wanted to purchase from a local company and was initially pleased with the customer service I received to purchase a washer and dryer. The next day they were both delivered at the scheduled time. I was not home at the time and my husband was home and relayed to me that the dryer kept tripping the electrical panel but the washer was working. I immediately called our electrician and he informed me that the electrical panel was tripping because the dryer had a damaged (broken) wire. So luckily the electrical panel was doing what it was supposed to otherwise we would've gotten shocked by touching the washer! Our electrician fixed the wire and everything was working fine. I immediately sent a picture and emailed Warrendale and they have never responded back to me. I am furious that I was sold a damaged dryer and no one was called me back to apologize. We are a military family and wanted to support a local company and I would NEVER recommend Warrendale Appliance! Shame on them for pretending to care. read more

They were able to get a Frigidaire A/C quickly, and connect us to a local fellow who delivered and installed it (for $130 extra). That said, they charged $499 for a unit that on Frigidaire's website and Amazon lists for $379 or $399 (model #FFRE103WA1). We foolishy did not check out Yelp reviews, which, as you can see, are horrible. When we challenged the manager in a phone call about the egreious overpricing, he was belligerent saying he is an expert and gave us good service. The service: taking a phone order and giving us the phone number for a young fellow who delivered and installed it. So, we were poor consumers. I had a great experience with Warrendale this week. I needed an oven that was an unusual size. They found me one at a reasonable price. The salesman, Bob was so helpful, friendly and enjoyable to deal with. I have nothing but good things to say, it is my new got to for appliances. The contractor they use to install it, (Frank) was wonderful. He installed it the same week I purchased it because he new I needed it ASAP, and kept me informed about when he was coming. He and his co-worker are such pleasant people and the price was so reasonable, I want to hire him to do other work in my house. read more

I hate writing bad reviews especially for s small locally owned business. After taking for a couple of months about replacing our refrigerator and stove we finally decided to replace our aging appliances. We went in mid June to to order our new appliances. After my hearing anything fir a month we started calling and even stopped by the store each time we where told 2 weeks, Out of frustration of not getting anywhere we went to Home Depot on August 14th they had a similar refrigerator and stove so we decided to cancel our order. When we went to warendale to cancel our order we where met by the owner who basically accused us of lying he kept asking us who we spoke to on the phone most of the calls are done while I was out running errands so I never write down the persons name. We had purchased the appliances between a couple of different credit cards for points my credit card was refunded right away my fiancé credit card according to the bank was charged then refunded the same day leaving the original purchase never refunded for almost a week. We where still short 1200 dollars when we went by to show them our statements they said according to their register and credit card machine we where credited the money. It took us getting an attorney to send then a letter and we received a 1200 check in the mail last week. The owner was telling us Home Depot would not have units to ship to us that nobody has anything but we have our new appliances and are very happy with the service and professionalism we received at Home Depot compared to the service we received there. I know times are tough with Covid but a phone call or email letting us know what was going on would have been great. read more

Needed a new dishwasher. Tried Home Depot website first. All top-rated were listed as "out of stock" in Waltham. Tried to call; no answer. Went there anyway. Told we needed to arrange our own installation, or pay them $600. No thanks. Went to Warrendale. Top dishwasher was in stock. Their plumber would install for $300+. Two business days later, plumber called, came as promised next day, quickly installed and took away old dishwasher for $400. read more

My first Mistake was giving them a second chance. Don't do business with them through text was my mistake. Warehouse calls to see if I have the merchandise, installer calls that they subbed out to see if I have the merchandise . Delayed the delivery which they had done in canceling the past three times with my first experience with them . Again a delivery delay. Said could exchange a item , that had a issue with that was in the text get to store that person isn't even there and now you have to deal with people that they past the buck too . Had the merchandise for not even 24 hours . But it's seasonal so that changes the whole dynamics's. They were paid and end of story . If I wanted something it would cost me . More money not even willing , All the blame passes to the manufacturers! Could go on but this was a learning experience. And a pricey one at that . Then tell me they will swap off the item with the same manufacturer , excuse me they can't swap off something they don't even have. Tell him before the purchase I need 6000 BTU , come in store We will try to solve the issue! they tell me that the manufacturer won't swap it off , so I have to keep this , but person that I dealt with through text says they do ! BEWARE OF PRICING- if you buy more than one appliance they batch it and refuse to give individual pricing. We had to cancel one item and they cheated us by making up an incredibly low price fir the refund. Once they sell you an item they want nothing to do with you.customer service is non existent. I paid for something, but I don't think I ever got the call that it was in. Maybe my mailbox was full. Ok, no problem there, I can't call someone on something that could be my fault. I called in, and they told me they had it. Then, when I came in they had some kind of communication error, went off to chatting, and I had to wait twenty minutes. Meanwhile, they weren't wearing masks during the Delta variant explosion and had forgotten what social distancing was. So, I had to actively avoid them in order to maintain social distancing. Pretty annoying overall. They did carry what I wanted though, and the transaction did happen. I wasn't ripped off. So, I can't complain too much. Larger, non-independent stores really don't do as well on that front. read more

Bob at Warrendale Appliance provided us with a loaner while we waited for it. With Thanksgiving dinner to plan for and lots of family coming over, this saved the day for us! We purposely choose to give our business to a locally owned small store...MISTAKE Here I am, empty-handed, 1 month after making a large order of kitchen appliances $3K+ based on our salesman's recommendation that we "Needed to put the order in today due to low inventories". Our invoice, it stated delivery would be the same week. Just now, I was told it would be ready by the end of the month. It is the 2nd day of the month. So I am now expecting delivery 2 months from an order paid in full that stated it would be delivered in a week. That's just poor business practice... I really hope others are not screwed in this way for the sake of all small businesses...this leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I guess I should have read the negative reviews on Yelp prior to trying this place out... UPDATE: I'll keep this thread up to date with the latest, since the store replied with an accusation that I am not a real customer. I received a message from them at around 11:30am today, and just responded now with my order number at 5pm. Lets see if they can make things right...if resolved in a reasonable way, happy to change my rating. UPDATE2: Store contacted me yesterday (10/4) letting me know where I stood in line versus other expected deliveries. 38/86 and 114/188 with expected delivery by end of the month or early next month...Not ideal and still doesn't quite capture why I was told to order so quickly by the salesman. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!. Hands down the worst customer service and useless salesman ive ever come across. I remodeled my entire house and bought every appliance from this "business" cause i believe in giving my money to small businesses rather than corporations cause i too own a small buisness. I spent well over $5,000. The gentleman who delivered all the appliances were very nice and professional which made me feel like i made the right decision. Upon moving in we realized the gas range was dead and wouldnt work. It had 120v coming into unit but display was dead. We called and every time was told someone would get back to us. We called every day, and got the same line every time "i was not the salesman so i will have the person u delt with call u". because of work hours i could not make it into the showroom unless i took a day off. After 16 days We had GE serviceman come out and informed us that the range looked refurbished and was missing parts and also had screws that where stripped out but it needed a control board and advised us to have warrendale give us a new unit since we paid full price. Stuff happens and now a days everything is control boards and electronics so the thought of it broken did not alarm me so we called warrendale to straighten this out. I also own a business and i understand equipment will make its way off the assembally line broken. I paid full price for this range so i was very concerned about why i would receive a refurbished unit. When i informed them about what was going on i was basically told it was my fault and i must of been messing with the unit and there was nothing they would take responsibility for. It has been 2 months and the stove is still broken. No phone call from them or follow up. Upon being very upset and the lack of getting back to us and being blamed for the stove being in the condition we bought it in, i finally took a day off and visited the store. After a bunch of nonsense and beating around the bush from who i thought was the owner, they were going to give me another brand of stove that was a lesser quality unit. Finally i started to get upset then some man ( who has been walking around paying no attention to us) walks up and tells me to go home uninstall the stove and bring it to them and i would get my money back. Furious i ask who he is and tells me hes the owner then just walks away like im in the wrong. So you make me pay full price for a used piece of equipment then have the balls to tell ME to bring it back to them. He didnt even have the professionalism to come pick the stove up. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!!!! As someone who works in the HVAC industry and deals with multiple contractors , i will be letting anyone all know what kind of "buisness" this is. We call these type of "buisnesses" BRAKE LIGHT WARRANTY companys. They have no problem taking your money but right when that check clears your on your own. GE came today and told me on top of control board being no good. The power board is broken and will not be in until march 10th. We have not had a stove from the first week of december and now will not have a stove till march. Paid $2200 in december and wont have a working one till march. Two stars for a helpful salesman but the older man in charge was just plain rude. Needed a refrigerator ASAP, went here tonight with a trailer and ready to buy. When asked if they had any in stock in our price range the older man said your looking at it (meaning a floor model). When asked if there were any boxed (raining buckets) he said "now you want a box"? And walked away leaving to go help someone he considered more important than me. After looking around at a number of places and hearing from others that Warrendale was helpful with sales and repairs I went by today to take a look. I also was hoping to buy from a smaller, local business. To me a dryer is a big purchase and not one you make everyday so it would seem reasonable to have questions. Well apparently not. First I wasn't greeted by the two employees standing at the front of the store. Then after two employees walked by me wandering and reading about the washers & dryers, I still had to ask for help, only to be made to feel I was an inconvenience. Once someone helped me, when I asked him to clarify the difference between two dryers and he response, "Well you could just look that up on your phone yourself." Don't worry sir, I did. And promptly made a $700 purchase elsewhere. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I bought a washer 6 months ago and then a dryer 3 months ago. The dryer stopped working just recently and I called to let them know so they could honor the warranty. They set up an appt with a 3rd party. That 3rd party couldn't come any earlier than a week. OK, not ideal, but I got over it. Now that week has come and gone and the service company did not show up. They claimed that they had the wrong address. They are both pointing fingers at each other for who messed up. I don't care who messed up, I want someone to fix the problem. You would think they would have been apologetic and offered to try to 1. Find an alternate vendor 2. Call and scream at the service company. 3. Offer to replace the dryer immediately 4. Offer to have my laundry washed, dried, and folded. Did they do any of these? No. Instead they explained how their process worked and how they could not possibly be in error. I'm not interested in their process, I'm just interested in how they can make things right. I was in a rush to buy a washer 'cuz I'm selling my condo and wanted to get it done... this place was nearby my work and had stackable washer/dryer sets. When the one I ordered turned up to be unavailable from the manufacturer he substituted a better one for no extra charge. The people I spoke to in the store were fine, personable, reasonable. I opted to install it myself and when I realized these things don't come with power chords they didn't give me a hard time, they just gave me an appropriate power chord. Their delivery service leaves a bit to be desired, but the delivery guy was also good natured, even though he seemed a little overworked. They didn't have those fancy appliance shoulder harnesses like I've seen other appliance places use, but ... it's what you get for moderate prices. Give these guys a chance. read more

We bought a dishwasher in July of 2021, we knew it might take a couple months based on what Warrendale told us do to supply chain, Covid etc. It took 10 months, no communication, even after monthly calls. Then it finally arrived and was just sitting there, although we pushed one guy to finally find it and get it delivered. Hard to get them to call back, they say they will and then they don't . After 10 weeks, the new Bosch dishwasher died. We called them, they said they would call back. The didn't. A follow up call from us led to them telling us to call Bosch. We did, one month before Bosch can fix it. My real fear is that is will have to be replaced, a neighbor had to have their Bosch replaced twice. Wait another year while you do dished by hand. In any case, I would love to patronize a local business, but these guys, who were good 20 years ago, appear to be focused elsewhere now. Can't recommend. read more
