Three weeks and several calls later, finally "ready", but data not recoverable. Upon inspection, appeared someone had wedged screwdriver behind display. Refused to release until paid in full (over $300). Tricom threatened to call police over gross malpractice accusations. Following departure, immediately went to police and reported proceedings. Try as they might, with cheap Ikea furniture and Apple logos pasted all over, they will never be more than a room full of H-U-S-T-L-E-R-hustler(s).

He did something and messed it up and dared to ask more money in the line of 200. 00 on top of the money he took already. I also gave him my cd player that the belt broke. So what this guy did was charge me diagnostics charges despite me telling him what exactly was wrong and he confirmed I was correct. I left the cd player there believing it was not worth additional repairs. It was a sony cd player that stored 300. A month later I called sony and told them about this and they told me no such thing needed be done just because the belt broke. I found out that my CD player actually was worth 1200.00 as a classic being sold on amazon and that was what led me to call sony. I found out that he shorted out the pre-amp on my amp when he took it apart.

I had used them to repair two Milwaukee power tools when they were at their old location, about five years ago, and wasn't too impressed with their service at the time. I decided to give them another chance when my favorite Milwaukee Sawzall stopped working recently, because they are listed online as a Milwaukee-authorized tool repair center. But, according to the man I spoke to at this business, they are no longer a Milwaukee-authorized repair center. I must not be the only person who walked through their doors with a broken Milwaukee tool, because he told me they have repeatedly contacted Milwaukee (to no avail) to get them to update their website to reflect the fact they no longer repair Milwaukee tools. Anyway, the man did refer me to another local business that does handle repairs on Milwaukee power tools, so I am giving Electric Motor Service three stars because they were at least informative and helpful, even if they wouldn't or couldn't fix my broken tool. I am writing this review as a public service of sorts to other Milwaukee tool owners, so if they read this review, they won't waste a trip like I did.
