My sister and i came here to try something new, we had never been here before. While we were waiting for our sushi, this guy came in and complained about the food he had just walked out with. He said "i don't eat raw fish, i thought this was something different when i ordered it. White people like me don't understand this kind of stuff so maybe you guys should make your menu clearer. Can i have a refund?" And my sister and i were so appalled at how this customer spoke to the guy behind the counter. We were the only seated customers in the restaurant, and we were complaining about him being so rude just to each other. Anyway, gave us a nice laugh. But then our little waitress who was soooooo sweet came over and gave us some more of those bomb ass little chip things and some free edamame while we wait for our 4 sushi rolls to come out. Well, we got our sushi and they brought it on a boat!!! We were so excited and animated about it. They said "we wanted to surprise you with the boat. Do you like it?" And of course we loved it lol. I'm not sure if they were so kind to us because they heard us complaining about the guy who made an ass of himself or what, but it was a fantastic first experience at this restaurant. We ordered egg rolls, wonton soup and teriyaki chicken. The egg rolls were good but small for the price. The soup had a good favor but the noodles was soggy with no middles. My boyfriend and I are regulars. Service is always good. They serve fried noodles and a sweet and sour sauce after ordering. I love the ginger salad! I often buy a container of the ginger dressing to go so I can have some at home. You also get a complimentary dessert- it's small, but free! I recently tried the sushi for the first time (they serve both Japanese and Chinese food). I got the bagel roll, which was only salmon, cream cheese and rice. I kept it simple because I am a bit picky. It was ok, I just not much of a sushi person. They are closed on Mondays. Dinner portions are big, and they also serve lunch during the week. Great place for low cost sushi. They advertise $1.00 sushi. The catch is you have to buy 2 for $2.00 Also their rolls are great. My family goes to this place once a week. It is very kid friendly place. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for everyday sushi. Nothing fancy just good food. They also serve other Asian dishes as well. I have tried some dishes but I cannot get away from the $1.00 sushi. So my wife and I decided to venture out from the usual restaraunt scene and found this little place next to Buffalo's and Publix in Flowery Branch/Oakwood area. THIS is our new go-to restaurant for sushi and Asian food. The atmosphere is pleasant; it's a good sign to see all the employees happy. The service was excellent, thank you Bailey. And the food was fantastic. Per our waitress' recommendation we had the Godzilla roll, the Kristen roll and her namesake the Bailey roll. All were huge, delicious servings. Very pricey for what we DID get, although the crispy duck was good. Gyoza was so-so. The customer service was non-existent, they even managed to sound shocked when I replied Yes, I would like them to make a 2nd trip out to deliver the rest of my order. What a cute little restaurant! I went here for the first time tonight as a Valentine's Date with my boyfriend and it couldn't get any better. The have a very large selection of sushi (surprisingly no Tamago though) including tons of special type rolls. We had Las Vegas Roll (consisted of crab, cream cheese avocado and some other spicy ingredients that I can't remember), Spicy Tuna Roll, and Unagi (eel) roll. Everything was so flavorful and fresh! The Las Vegas roll I have to recommend, the crab was great and it really had a certain spicy "BANG" as an aftertaste that I really enjoyed. Even though the place was completely packed, service was fantastic, and everything was served to us in a timely manner. Our waiter was really cool and friendly! Also, they gave use the little chocolate truffles since it was Valentine's Day. I will definitely be back to try more sushi rolls! read more

We've been ordering from here for almost 2yrs. Service and food have been what we thought was the best. Well, upon opening up our take out order of chicken fried rice we were horrified to find after eating a good portion of it (our toddler ate this too) a cooked tapeworm. I can't even express how disgusted and shocked we were to find this. So we take the container of rice with this parasite back to Wasabi. They immediately accuse us of planting it....Yeah, I always keep a tapeworm for opportunities like these *sarcasm*... but even with this insulting accusation my husband kept his voice down not to cause any commotion because the restaurant was packed. Part of me wanted to announced it to spare anyone possibly consuming what was in our food. They refused a refund which I'm not surprised. They have forever lost our loyal regular business. I love this place! Ive been to a lot of sushi places in the area and this is one of my favorites. The prices are reasonable and i have yet to have anything bad. I usually go for the winter roll (crab stick, tuna, and salmon wrapped in cucumber with ponzu and masago) and it is delicious! I could eat them everyday. Staff are super friendly as well. This is the worst place I have ever eaten. Me and a group of friends went for lunch today and every single one of us now has food poisoning. My water tasted and smelled like it came straight from the toilet. Their "yum yum" sauce was a red color and it was also frozen when it came out to us. The fried rice tasted like it was a week old. My husband told me this was the best place for Chinese in Georgia and he didn't disappoint! I love their House Special Lo Mein and House Special Fried Rice. The prices have gone up over the last few years but what hasn't? They deliver within a 5 mile radius so if you are tired of pizza delivery order from here. Been going there for years now and they just never disappoint. The owner is very nice and takes a moment to interact with you or group. Sushi chef is consistently awesome. When my wife and I want sushi we come straight here. Their chinese menu is also very tasty with a bit if a twist to traditional dishes. My girls love the sesame chicken and the japanese sprite. Anything from their sushi menu is a winner but I specially like their Godzilla and Fancy Dragon. Rockin' Roll is also a favorite. I've been going to this place for years! Great affordable sushi. They used to do dollar piece sushi, but I believe it is now $2 per piece, going up according to type of fish. The sushi rolls are amazing! It is not the best sushi I've ever had, BUT for the price it is pretty dang good. The staff is very friendly, once you come here a few times they remember you and talk to you like friends. Go here for a good atmosphere and affordable sushi and you will leave happy and full! Ask questions too! They are very nice. And you also get FREE dessert at the end, if you have room. They used to just give it to you, but now they ask if you want it, I guess some people weren't eating it. It is a 4 layered small piece of cake. This place is in a strip mall so it's a fairly small space. The steak/rice, crab Rangoon, and sushi rolls (we got the Big Sexy and the lobster roll) were all really good. Soda drinks come out in a small bottles so no free refills. No hibachi "show" like you typically see in Japanese hibachi restaurants. Biggest downfall is that both of our bellies were aching not long after eating. We probably won't visit again. read more

I had a work lunch here yesterday and we both thought it was worth the trip all the way around. We ordered four rolls including shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, eel and cucumber, and the dancing eel roll. We also had the ginger salad, miso soup and shrimp shumai. The miso soup was amazing and had lots of tofu in it, which I love! The shrimp shumai wasn't on the menu but they said they would make it and I'm glad we ordered it because the portion was hefty for the price and I thought they were delicious. The dancing eel roll was my favorite out of the lot and I recommend ordering it. Their spicy tuna roll wasn't typical spicy tuna, it was a piece of tuna sashimi with sriracha sauce on top. It was good quality tuna sashimi but I probably wouldn't order it because I like my spicy tuna the typical way. Between the food, the extremely friendly and fast service and the reasonable prices, we left full and happy! read more

Been to Wasabi 3 different times within the last 2 months. All 3 times have been excellent. Their sushi/sashimi are very good (wish they had fatty tuna), their rolls were excellent. My favorite dish would be the Udon w/tempura! OH, MY! It was AWESOME! The beef & shrimp Hibachi-style dinner was great, but I would have liked a little better selection of iceberg lettuce for the ginger salad because the dressing was delish...not a fan of big white chunks of iceberg. The Miso soup that came with the dinner was hot and delicately seasoned. Service has always been good, but we had to wait a long time to get our fried rice (I was almost finished with my dinner). Shouldn't take that long to do fried rice. Next time I'll just order the sticky rice...it was good! I'll be back! read more
