I love that this little place is close to me. Honestly it's not like knock your socks off amazing. But! It's very good. Nice fresh ingredients and great flavor! Attentive staff. There could be a bit more of an atmosphere. Kind of bare on the inside. Yummy food tho! Love to support my local spots.

Beef Kimbab

THE HAUS in Oakwood is hands down one of my favorite places to eat, and I don't say that lightly--I've had almost their entire menu! Located in a shopping center next to Kroger, parking is always super easy. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food comes out fast, fresh, and consistently delicious. Let's talk food--because EVERYTHING I've tried here has been amazing. The dumplings are perfectly steamed, their cheese sticks are super flavorful, and the sweet potato cheese balls are a unique must-try. Their inari, especially the bulgogi one, is one of my absolute favorites. I still can't believe it's tofu--it tastes like a crispy, savory fried egg. Their tonkotsu ramen is rich and comforting, the cheese donkatsu plate is cheesy and crispy in all the right ways, and the beef rice cakes (ddukboki) hit that spicy-satisfying note. I've also had their beef kimbab, which was fresh and filling. Even their sushi impressed me, and I'm usually picky about sushi! My only two minor gripes: I wish their seating was a bit roomier and I really wish they had a Coca-Cola fountain machine. But I grab a can of Coke Zero and still leave completely happy after every meal. This place offers a great variety of both Korean and Japanese dishes, and they do it all so well. If you're in the area--or even if you're not--it's worth the trip. Can't recommend them enough!

Spicy Chicken Rice Bowl

Back again and this dish although spicy. It was awesome. I think next time I'll ask for extra chicken and cabbage. I just couldn't drink the juicy. It's spicy but so good. Service always A1, and the place is small and personable. They stay busy. The Yummy Rolls and New Volcano Roll were awesome. But we didn't have it with the scallop.

The soup and sushi

I loved the sushi it was very fresh and filling I also got the spicy ramen noodles and it was so so yummy the soup was very warm and flavorful one tho g I didn't like was the pork but that's just me being picky

Very good food. My bf and I stopped by for a quick dinner before our main event. The staff were super nice and gave us some great service. We ordered a tempura fried jalapeño withe crab. It was tasty. I had the bulgogi hot stone bowl and it was amazingly delicious. The bf ordered omurice and he finished his meal happily. We both were given the miso soup on the house and it was the perfect complement to our selections. We both agreed to come back.

My boyfriend and I absolutely adore this place. The food is amazing every time we eat here! We find ourselves coming back time and time again, making sure to try something new each visit. With each order comes a new wave of flavor that we can't get enough of! The service is amazing, and everyone who works here is super kind. The ambiance is small but cozy, and very welcoming as well. I can't think of a better place to get some delicious Japanese/Korean food :) (We Highly [HIGHLY] recommend coming here if you're in the area!!!)

I had been wanting to try the Haus for so long, and finally got there last week! It was absolutely a delight. Love the cozy feeling inside. Excellent service. The food is PHENOMENAL. My favorite was the Magic Bake Roll followed closely by the Romantic. The dukboki is so delicious too. I cannot wait to go back. All the options are wonderful and authentic and delicious. Highly recommend!

This has to be some of the best Korean food I've ever had. Service is great and very friendly place to eat. I went for lunch on Friday and came back tonight for dinner. Neat little dinning room area to eat inside. If you are close you need to go and even if you not it's worth the drive.

I am deeply saddened to write this view in particular because I feel like there some very…read moredisturbing undertones to the nature of the service I received in this restaurant on this visit. First, let me say that I love this restaurant. I live in South Metro Atlanta, so for me to come all the way up to Buford, Georgia to eat at this place, I really like it. My previous experience has been nothing short of excellent. Even on this visit, the food was excellent and I had no complaints with its quality or in the environment in the establishment. However, when I walked in, I was greeted my an extremely rude young man at the front counter. He was so rude that, I decided to leave and went back to my car. As I sat there, I had to remind myself that I had driven over an hour and it would have been foolish to leave at this point. So, I went back inside and ordered. Again, extremely rude to myself and my guest. It was so bad that my guest also noticed. Even in telling us where to sit, he acted as if I was bothering him by coming inside and ordering food. When our food arrived to the table, he just slammed it down and walked off like he was annoyed. What was even more telling about how, insanely, disturbing his behavior, was that when he and his 'shift' left and was replaced my some young ladies, the experience, completely changed! I mean, immediately changed. The young ladies were helpful, pleasant, and friendly. The mood changed so drastically like night and day. Again, this food is good! The environment is neat! But, if this young man is continued to be allowed to interact with customers, there will be some continued problems.

TLDR: Food 3.5/5, Atmosphere 3/5, Service 1/5. Would pick up food to go but would not choose…read moreto dine in again. During my short time in the Buford area, I've come to this place twice in the last two days. The food brought me back as well as proximity to our hotel, however if I were local, the service would drive me away. The type of staff that seems more, interested in hanging out and talking with each other than actually serving the customers. First day I was here. I got the bulgogi Omurice dish and it was tasty. I expected the omelette actually cover the entire portion of rice (top and bottom like an omelette which it didn't. Nevertheless, served piping hot in the stone dish and the flavors were good and not overpowering, and the portion was large. A decent value. The second day, after learning a lesson from the previous one, my wife and I split the Bulgogi fried rice dish (which she had gotten the day before.) Again, the flavors did not disappoint. The rub came when my cousin and I, who have two Independent families and who paid separately, were bulked together as one large group so that a mandatory service fee could be tacked on. When I asked, they said the computer made them charge the service fee. This is in addition to having the system prompt for a tip in addition. The ironic part is that we weren't even standing next to each other in line. Then if you are going to charge a service fee, we would expect to have some solid service that is pretty prompt. Small things such as being able to get water when and as soon as you sit down (perhaps they were busy?), as well as having the sufficient amount of silverware (perhaps they just miscounted?) and actually people smile when they're helping you (perhaps it was the end of the day and they were tired?). Lots of hypotheticals. Just a higher expectation of service, especially when being subject to this service fee. Nevertheless, the family enjoyed the food. We are in and out and about 45 minutes and I'm leaving town today so it doesn't really matter but if you're looking for great service, this isn't the place for you but if you just need a quick bite to pick up and take back to your home or hotel,, go for it.

Plenty of parking here, we got lucky considering it's Saturday and we got one of the last grill tables open. Our server was Isaac, who was helpful and thorough for our questions. We chose to go with one of the combination meals that offered 3 different beef types and 2 pork options. The banchan is excellent here. They have really perfected the dishes they offer which complement the meal nicely. We chose a soup (choice of 3 options) and went with the cheese corn and the egg soufflé as our sides. Shaved onions with a sweet soy vinaigrette, lettuce with a saltier edge, spicy fish cakes, kimchi, jap chae, green onions with bean sprouts and a spicy gochujang based sauce, pickled radish. It's all good. Don't be shy, ask for more. It's literally some of the best I've had. The quality of meat was unmatched. Marinated Beef rib, rib fingers, Unmarinated steak, marinated pork ribs, and unmarinated pork belly. They give 3 different dipping options for the unmarinated meats. Also quite complementary for the meal. The owner, Kyung, was helping out because it was super busy. She was very friendly, and happy to see we came all the way from Cumming to try her restaurant. It was nice to see her taking an interest in the customers and she was super gracious. They have a great team here, and it's clear they want people to have the best possible food and service. It's worth the drive, they have about 15-16 grill tables so try to plan ahead! Support small owned businesses!!!

We had read good reviews and heard great things about this restaurant, so we were excited to try it. The customer service was friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant itself was clean, modern, and well-maintained. As for the food, we ordered the beef and pork combo and added one more protein - pork brisket. The combo came with a choice of two appetizers, so we chose the cheese corn and egg gyeranjjim. We also ordered mul naengmyeon, and the boys had rice. It was plenty of food for our family of four, and we enjoyed everything very much. The quality was fantastic, and we highly recommend checking out Meat 120 Korean BBQ in Hamilton Mill! 5 stars and two thumbs up!

The moment I said Korean fried chicken, she lit up like I had just announced free dessert for life, so the decision was instantly made. Ordering online was quick and painless, with clear tracking that let me know exactly when to leave the house. By the time I pulled up to the window, everything was ready and handed over piping hot, which is honestly the dream when you are picking up food and want maximum crunch preservation. We went with the honey garlic boneless, the soy garlic boneless, and an order of beef dumplings, and the flavors were exactly why this place stays in our regular rotation. The chicken had that signature ultra crisp coating that stays crunchy even after the drive home. Not just crispy, but the kind of crunch you can hear before you taste it. The honey garlic was sweet, savory, and sticky in the best way, coating each piece without turning it soggy. The soy garlic brought a deeper, umami rich flavor that felt balanced and satisfying without being overly salty. The dumplings rounded everything out perfectly. Tender wrappers, flavorful filling, and just the right companion to all that crispy goodness. Everything tasted fresh, hot, and consistent with what we have come to expect. No surprises, no drop in quality, just dependable deliciousness that makes you wonder why you would order fried chicken from anywhere else. Most importantly, my mom was thrilled, and that alone makes this place a Sunday dinner hero. When the food is this good and pickup is this easy, it is hard to argue with tradition.

Since it was our first visit, we stuck with the lunch and it was more than enough for us. Some of the meats we ordered: - Beef Brisket - Beef Bulgogi - Spicy Beef Bulgogi - Pork Belly - Spicy Pork Belly I enjoyed the beef brisket and pork belly the most. Banchan offered are japchae, corn cheese, kimchi, sesame broccoli, pickled radishes, egg soufflé and rice. Japchae, sesame broccoli and egg soufflé was tasty. I wasn't a fan of the corn cheese as it came out in these little aluminum cups with cheese on top and it's left on the grill until the cheese melts. The service is good. You cook the meat yourselves here, but our server came around to take our orders and change the grills pretty often. 985 also offers a ramen bar for an additional cost at the center of the restaurant. They have a ton of ramen options for you to choose from and various toppings to add a la carte. Overall, it's a decent AYCE KBBQ at a good value.
