Owner very disorganized. Had taken all of my information over the phone (weeks before the scheduled boarding dates), including my vet's information, with the purpose of checking my dog's shot records prior to boarding. Arrived to drop my dog off at 8 am only to be asked for the shot records because she did not have them in the computer. Then she tried to call my vet and complained when the phone rang over to voice mail. She was able to get through on the second try and verify that my dog was up-to-date on their shots. She mentioned during this time that she really would have preferred to meet my dog prior to him being dropped off for boarding. I toured the boarding facilities on a separate visit, called to book the boarding on the following day and was never given those instructions. She also argued with me about the weight of my dog, stating he looked heavier than 39 pounds. They seem to use the dogs weight for the nightly cost of boarding (40 pounds = $17/night, less than 40 pounds = $16/night). I told her his last weight was two weeks ago and he's a puppy, so he certainly could have gained some weight since then. As she was on the phone with the vet, confirmed that my dog weighed 39.8 pounds two weeks prior. If you're that concerned about a dog's weight, you should probably invest in a scale for the lobby area. During the first boarding visit she did recommend that I bring my own dogs food, but after that they could just feed him the same dog food they feed all the dogs they are boarding. I was always told it is not a good idea to abruptly change the food as it can lead to GI issues, so that policy seemed strange to me. Went to pick up my dog (a 9 month old puppy) and was told by the assistant that the owner was not comfortable with boarding my dog in the future, as he was very aggressive with her, the actual word used was vicious. The assistant stated she never had any problems with my dog, but if I wanted to use them again, I would have to call and speak to the owner personally. My dog was extremely high-strung and hyper when I picked him up. He also didn't smell that great, despite the mandatory bath that all the dogs are required to get. He is normally a very calm and laid-back kind of dog, as much as can be expected from a puppy. So I told the assistant I would just make alternate arrangements for future boarding. My dog and this facility/owner were not a good fit. I would hesitate to recommend them to other dog owners.

Since then, she's also fully groomed one of my boys, and he looks absolutely gorgeous. She listened carefully to exactly what I wanted and gave him the perfect trim. It's clear she genuinely cares about the dogs and takes pride in her work. I also want to recognize the entire team at Pet Supplies Plus in Altamonte Springs. This location has quickly become my go-to store with all the pets I have. Everyone is always cheerful, welcoming, and helpful. The manager (I believe he's the manager!) is fantastic, and every employee I've interacted with has been friendly and knowledgeable. Their raw food selection is one of the best I've found, which is a huge reason I keep coming back. The store is always clean, well-stocked, and has such a positive atmosphere. This place has everything you can think of as-well as great deals and the membership has amazing offers. The dog baths are large and spacious and the water temp and blow dry temp was very good. I will say when it comes to the towels they are clean however have a lot of dog hair still on them which is kind of unhygienic but not surprising. They also have little free treats for your fur baby at checkout as well as a bakery you can buy from that ranges from donuts, cannolis, and cookies.

They are located in the corner lot in the town of Montverde by the gas stations. If you are not looking for them, you may not be able to find them. Luckily, we were able to do some digging and find out where they were. The staff was extremely friendly and actually very excited to see an Airedale because they aren't really native to this area. Usually with Airedales, they are meant to be groomed a specific way and in a specific pattern or else their hair will come out matted and unruly. Michelle, the owner knew EXACTLY what to do with him. It took a couple of hours, but when she brought him out - it was like he was a WHOLE different dog. The price was not too bad either. I paid about $45 or so for a wash and cut and will definitely be back again.

She sent me texts during our time away updating us on how the dogs were doing and included photos and videos. The dogs stayed almost a week and they were so happy to lucky when I brought them home. She is also a grooming facility. So she groomed them before pick up per our request. It was a great value and quality care for our fur babies. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a more personal affordable boarding option for your dog or cat.
