UPDATE! This place was five stars when I originally wrote my review, but after today's Thanksgiving buffet, I would give it 2 stars at best. We arrived at one of their last seatings, everything was pretty much gone at that point. You could not help yourself to the turkey , there was someone giving it to you and he gave the skimpiest portions. They were literally like turkey medallions. He had zero personality, I think if he smiled, his face would crack . When I went back for a second helping, it was nothing but dark meat and fat , I don't eat any other meat so I had to fill up on sides. $34.95 a person for what? Iced tea was an extra $2.99 , really? Even the chocolate cake was so dry that it tasted like it was old . Then you weren't allowed to select the tip they already applied 20% on there, all she did was give us one drink and take about two plates away. $91 later and we were extremely disappointed. Stopped for a quick lunch. The outside looks a little questionable but inside is nice. I got the turkey club wrap. Tasty but something was missing. No guacamole available but dipping in their chipotle ranch gave it more depth. Really liked how they grilled or used a panini press! My friend got the chicken cheesesteak and enjoyed it. I snagged a bit of the chicken and wished I'd gotten one lol. Service was great. We sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive and responsive. Would definitely come back. read more

Food and service is definitely great! We've dined in a few times but have also had food delivered. Although there are some dishes like the chicken parm that could use alittle work like a better quality portion of chicken even if it's smaller than the chewy, fatty piece you usually get that's way to big for one person. We ate here for my wife's actual birthday. We were warmly greeted by I think the manager as she mentioned that she was alone as no servers were present. She was very accommodating and made u feel welcome. She was very fast and knew what she was doing. She went out of her way to serve u and get u whatever u needed. There was only a few people there when we got there. The food was very good. We have eaten here before and it has always been good. We will definitely go here again. Not too shabby! Got the steak salad and it was pretty good. My wife got the salad with crab cakes. I don't think many people order the salad because the server wasn't sure what was in it. Guess we've been spoiled by menus that list all the ingredients. The salads don't have onions. Nice outside seating area that's unexpected when you're looking at the front. Don't ever eat here for a buffet! Looks like they ran out of food & served what they had left. They didn't replenish anything . I wanted watermelon, I had to search for what was left. Desserts were few & cake was super dry. I couldn't believe that it was a buffet and you couldn't even get your own ham or turkey. I get it if it was freshly sliced, but this was in a pan and an employee with absolutely no personality was serving it to you, he barely gave you any meat at all. When I asked for more, I felt like he was irritated, what really got me was the already included tip, the fact this was $34.95 a person and did not include a drink. I'm not looking for alcohol, but at least include an iced tea! That was an extra $2.99 on top of the tip and the total. Awful. Simply awful. We've been coming here for years and have witnessed the slow demise, but last night, it was our final visit. My wife was served a completely black and rotten avocado which we sent back. When our pizza came out, a repugnant smell accompanied it. The best I can describe it as was smelly feet. I and two of my kids took one bite and said this is disgusting. Mind you, we've had their pizza many times in the past and it's usually good. Something was wrong with this cheese! It smelled like the cheese was left out in the heat, simply disgusting, inedible. I told our waitress that we didn't want it, to please take it away. A "manager" came over, very young girl, combative at the start of the convo, defending their pizza. I said I agree, we've had your pizza many times, dating way back to the COVID days, your pizza is always good. Something is WRONG with this cheese! She said the kitchen staff all smelled it and it was fine to them. I said that's fine, you should have a slice. I just laughed at the thought of these people sniffing my pizza and arguing about a $15 item that seems it will make or break their entire business. She said they would take 15% off of the pizza, that's $2.70. I said, if you take 15% off, there's a 100% chance we'll never come here again, we'll tell everyone we know not to come and I'll leave a negative review. In the end, they decided $15.00 was worth it. Place should be condemned. Oh well, no tip canceled out the rancid pizza. AVOID!! read more

This place is incredible! The atmosphere is casual, warm, and welcoming. The seafood is seriously fresh, it is as if you are coming to a seaside restaurant! Two out of the four of us order the mahi-mahi with crab on top ($24.99). They said it tasted funny looked under cooked and it had good amount of dark meat. Smells like poop inside. Literally. Bathroom stinks so bad and the lack of exhaust lets the stink permeate through the dining area. First thing I noticed when I opened the door was it smells like poop in the entire building. Even though you can tell they have tried, no amount of air fresheners is going to solve this problem. It's only going to make it worse. Had no appetite for my meal. I could smell it on my cloths on the drive home. Also the food took a very long time especially since there were only three of us in the entire restaurant. Last, the parking lot is pretty inconvenient to get in and out of. This place is INCREDIBLE. I went with my mother, her boyfriend, my fiancée, and baby sister. We got boneless wings in General Tsos sauce (was amazing), more wings with Mango Habanero, Crabwich, Chicken Marsala, loaded potato skins, tomato bisque soup, a Reese's pieces cheesecake we came to find out was home made, and a cannoli. The food was absolutely spectacular. I know I just reviewed a place the other day and said it was amazing, and it was, but this is the best food I have eaten in any place in years. A 5 star is not high enough to match the amazing service, delicious food, large portions, affordable prices, and an amazing atmosphere. Absolutely recommend. Nondescript exterior is deceiving. This is a very nice bar/restaurant inside, with friendly, efficient service; excellent drinks; & great food. Playmate and I stopped in on the recommendation of one of our grown-up kids. We were greeted promptly and guided to seats at the bar, which is where we asked to be sat. I had a Manhattan and two beers, playmate had a beer and a glass of wine. My drink was quite large for $12.50, and the staff happily backed it up with a beer instead of making me wait to drink it. While waiting for food, we struck up a conversation with a couple next to us, and they shared a piece of pizza with us. It was pizza night... A large pie for $7.99. The pie was huge and the piece we shared was delicious. Cheesy, gooey, with a nice, flavorful sauce. I had a roast beef and provolone sandwich and playmate had a crabcake. Both were top notch. My sandwich was enormous. I would have been OK with a little bit more au jus to dip it in. But won't nitpick. Total tab was $67, and that included a round that we bought for the pizza sharers next to us. (they only had soft drinks, but still...) Parking can get a little hairy, because the lot opens right out onto Route 100. Backing out would be an act of supreme bravery at rush-hour. Fortunately for us, it was well after 8pm when we left, so traffic was light. Really enjoyed our visit here. I've driven past this place many times, and never considered stopping there. A few weeks ago I was getting together with a few friends and we decided to meet halfway and someone recommended the Washington Grille. When walking into the place, the first thing you noticed is the enormous Bar and the spacious dining area to the right of the bar. The three of us sat at the bar and were warmly greeted by bartender Debbie. The beer selection is quite good and included Victory and Fiddle Head on draft. We ordered some wings as a shared appetizer and they were excellent. Debbie recommended a few specials in addition to the regular menu, how ever we all ordered the crab cakes. I've had crabcakes from Maine to Maryland and I have to tell you this is one of the best crabcakes I've ever eaten in my life. You can order one or two crab cakes as an entree and of course, I had to order two and took the second one home. The food is fantastic. The portions are generous, and the prices are very fair. We have been back several times, and I have ordered many things including specials and have not been disappointed. I will however, make a point that the traffic on route 100 is pretty fast. However, you can park in the back plenty of parking. I highly recommend Washington Grille to anyone who enjoys good times and great food. read more

We've been here for dinner a handful of times and the food is usually pretty average. Although the last time we were there were shells in our crab cakes and shrimp pasta, the dishes were still good. My only complaint about the place is no matter how slow or busy the place seems, the service is always very slow and some waitresses show their frustration talking with customers and every time we've been there, everyone's food from the same table comes out from the kitchen at different times. I hate to give this place a low review score because honestly the food is actually really good. The reason I am giving a low rating is because I just ordered delivery from this location and I've done so quite a few times but this is the third time our order was wrong or items were missing. Tonight for example we ordered a pepperoni pizza but received only a cheese pizza. We also ordered a cheese dip cup for the chicken basket but did not receive that. On top of the mistakes, our food was barely warm and we do not live that much of a distance away. Any other time our food was at least hot. The first time we ordered, they forgot our drinks. See each time I've ordered we've paid by card over the phone. So these missing items I was charged for like tonight with the pizza topping. I'm just disappointed because the food is good. We order over $40 worth of food and drop a good tip for the driver each time. I'm going to have to stop ordering from there. Idk if they can't handle delivery service, because they seem pretty busy each time I call but if that's the case, something should be done. read more

This is a fun, local eatery and pub! The owner, his wife and daughter/family (Satori) are very kind and serve the patrons with great enthusiasm and care. The pasta is great, and the food is really good with fair prices. Unfortunately, there is something that the owners could do to improve the experience. Most of the bartenders are thoughtful and helpful. There is one bartender that is highly unprofessional and should retire from hospitality forever, her name: Debbie. She had a bad reputation from her previous employer (Spunktown), in fact our family would avoid going there when she was working. It is important to be aware that depending on Debbie's mood when Debbie is greeting/serving customers, they may not come back. She is flippant, sarcastic and down right unprofessional. Maybe Debbie could work in the kitchen? Besides Bartender Debbie's immaturity and shortcomings, we love this place and want to continue to spend lots of money there. We've been here a few times but this most recent time will be the last. We arrived at 630. It took until almost 7 until we placed our drink and appetizer order (which took 40 minutes). Our dinner entrees finally arrived at 820pm. While the food was hot, the French fries were limp and greasy. I asked to see the manager and that took about 1/2 hour. I understand things happen but this experience was Disgraceful. We will not return. read more

I've been here several times. First I will say the food has always been excellent and served timely. My only complaint is the service sometimes, depending on who is serving you. I usually stop by right about when they open at 11, as I work at night usually. So this is my happy hour. I get several appetizers (always fantastic, I suggest the mussels), and usually several beers, as I'm heading for bed. Now I've had great service, very engaging and personable, and then I've had what I had today, she did not seem to give two dams about being attentive or personable, she asked me if I would like another drink, I accepted, and she poured it then walked away leaving it on the tap. I tried for about ten minutes to get her attention but she just wondered around doing odds and ends till I just asked for my check. Kinda a bummer, as there are plenty of places to spend my money. Not saying I won't go back, but just probably not for a bit. When you spend money, it kinda sucks being blown off. So that's the reason for the three stars.
