Great atmosphere and amazing service! Been meaning to stop in here for a bit, and happy that I finally got a chance. I love the bar area and location. The staff here are all super friendly. We stopped in at an off time and got a pizza. The pizza itself was ok, a good size for the price. I think my ideal time spent here would be with a drink and a slice at the bar. They did recommend the breakfast burrito so might have to stop back and try that.

I came here during a rainy day and for trivia. Would not recommend for rainy day since it's not an actual indoor place so you will get wet. Anyways service was good the people prob out some umbrella to shield us from the rain and made sure to bring us whatever we needed. Pizza was decent. It's kind of a bar/patio vibe so I can see it being more popular with tourists and locals during the warmer days and months. Worth checking out if you're heading to the beach from Washington blvd

Outstanding pizza! So glad this placed opened in our neighborhood. It is legit New York style pizza. We ordered delivery. The order comes with little containers of oregano, red pepper flakes and Parmesan. The crust is just the right combination of soft and crispy. Sauce compliments the toppings. Lucky Lu was perfectly spicy. We'll definitely be back.

I love pizza. I didn't love this pizza. The first thing I asked what how big is the slice. I was told "a little smaller than Costco". No, it wasn't. In my opinion, it is half the size of Costco's, and that's okay, just don't compare yourself to them. I ordered a slice of Margherita and when it *finally* arrived, because I think they forgot me, it had ONE small piece of basil on it and I had to ask them to give me some to put it on myself. To top it off, the crust was burnt and the taste itself was mediocre. The lady next to me ordered a large Meat Lovers pizza. She and her brother took one bite and stopped. She said it was really bad but was too embarrassed to say anything. Then, to top it off, there was confusion about being allowed to sit in the patio. One employee (?) told me the patio was closed until 4pm but then two possible owners were telling other customers they could sit there. I didn't like the confusion, the wait, nor the pizza, so I won't be going back.

When you close your eyes and imagine the most satisfying single bite of food imaginable, what comes to mind? The only correct answer is the breakfast burrito from WSP. They understood the assignment. Crunch on the inside. Crunch on the outside. Tiny sprinkles of goodness raining from the heavens. At some point in your experience, expect to briefly blackout from sensory overload. But when consciousness returns, you'll realize you've just ridden a rollercoaster of culinary opulence. Even better, this "breakfast" burrito exists outside the laws of space-time... you can order it all day. Do yourself this solid. You deserve it.

Meat lovers pizza. What a joke.

I almost never leave bad reviews, but Washington Square Pizza was a total rip-off. I ordered the 'meat lovers' slice, and it was a joke--barely any meat, just a few lonely pepperonis on a bland slice. When we asked the girl at the counter if it was really the meat lovers, she just shrugged and said, 'Yeah, it is,' and walked away. For nearly $8, I expected a lot more. Instead, it was a complete waste of money. I won't be coming back."

We have been eyeing Washington Square Pizza for what feels like ages, so we were excited to finally try it. The ambiance is genuinely one of its strongest points. It has that cute, relaxed beachside energy that makes you want to linger, grab a drink, and enjoy the coastal air. The location is fantastic since it is steps from the beach and also a great choice for sports fans because there are plenty of TVs and a lively atmosphere during games. The food unfortunately did not quite live up to the charm of the space. We ordered a classic cheese pizza and found it to be pretty mediocre. It was not bad, but it definitely did not stand out and felt more like a quick bite than something you would go out of your way for. We also tried the happy hour chicken fingers which sounded promising but ended up being subpar as well. The flavors were fine but fell short of what we were hoping for. Overall, Washington Square Pizza is a cute hangout spot with a fantastic location and a fun atmosphere, especially if you want to watch a game or grab something casual near the beach. The food itself lands at about a 3 out of 5, but the vibe and convenience keep it from dipping lower.

    Burger

Although it's called Washington square pizza, the burger is amazing. Fries too. Definitely a must try.

Was in the area saw the beautifully remodeled space so thought we would grab a few slices. I can only speak to the takeout window experience. Ordered the "margherita" and a pep slice. Not marg slice as I know it (that is more tomato forward with less mozzarella and basil) but was just a basic cheese. Both slices were very oily. We had to use a lot of napkins to soak it up. And I'm not one to usually dab a slice. Service was fine. They have a really nice patio and bar area on the restaurant side, I might go back to eat there or I might try their breakfast burrito one day.

I was so excited to see a real pizza joint opening right around the corner. Well the disappointment hit hard. They want to call this NY style but except for the slices being triangular this has no resemblance to a NY slice. The flavors aren't there. Tasted like it came out of a vending machine and looked like it also. No better than the pizza the Whaler offers. I will continue to go the few extra blocks to PIZZA GIRL or down to ANGEL CITY PIZZA where a New Yorker can get a real slice.

They have a few seats outside for you to eat at, but I think most do pick-ups. Second, I am a fan of Neopolitan pizza, but my only gripe is about how floppy they can be and not holding the toppings very well. Fiorelli combines Neapolitan-style and New York pizza together, so you get the rich flavors and thin slices of the Neapolitan-style pizza, but without the sloppy flop. Each slice, despite being thin, has structure and crispiness to it, so each bite is surely heavenly. Their dough is also slow-fermented, so it has a pleasant flavor depth that is almost similar to sourdough, but not quite sour. I got the Pepperoni + Burrata + Hot Honey. They are generous in the amount of pepperoni they give. Each pepperoni was cooked to perfection - curled and slightly crispy along the edges while packed with the spicy pepperoni flavor. The burrata was creamy and savory. The hot honey added sweetness and pleasant heat. I liked that they serve the honey separately, so you have full control of how much honey you actually want to drizzle on your pizza. The pizza is topped off with fresh basil leaves, oregano, chili flakes and aged parmesan. Everything came together very well. Lastly, their pizzas are sized perfectly. Enough to share, but if you're super hungry or eating only 1 meal for the day, it's enough for an individual as well. Only thing is price is on the higher end, but given the location, the quality ingredients and house-made nature of their pizzas, I think it's worth it as a treat from time-to-time.

It's consistently delicious, and you can tell it's made with care. Today, though, I finally ordered something different. I'd been craving a meatball sub for months but could never decide where to get one. Then it hit me... of course Pizzarito would have one. It did not disappoint. The best part of our visit, though, was getting to chat with Al, the owner. He's been serving this community for 42 years, and after meeting him, it's easy to understand why people keep coming back. He made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. At one point he smiled and said, "I'm just an Italian boy from Brooklyn," and it instantly made the whole interaction feel even more genuine and wholesome. It especially warmed my heart because my dad always said he was "just an Italian boy from Chicago." It was one of those little moments that sticks with you. In a world where so many local gems disappear, I'm so grateful Pizzarito is still here. Thank you, Al, for pouring your heart into this place for over four decades, for feeding the community, and for making people feel so welcome. We'll keep coming back, and I hope Pizzarito stays a neighborhood staple for many years to come.
