Their dough is also slow-fermented, so it has a pleasant flavor depth that is almost similar to sourdough, but not quite sour. I got the Pepperoni + Burrata + Hot Honey. They are generous in the amount of pepperoni they give. Each pepperoni was cooked to perfection - curled and slightly crispy along the edges while packed with the spicy pepperoni flavor. The burrata was creamy and savory. The hot honey added sweetness and pleasant heat. I liked that they serve the honey separately, so you have full control of how much honey you actually want to drizzle on your pizza. The pizza is topped off with fresh basil leaves, oregano, chili flakes and aged parmesan. Everything came together very well. Lastly, their pizzas are sized perfectly. Which means of course longer wait times to getting anything - even getting a glass of water took 20 minutes. And this was in close to 100° weather. Each time we asked for something simple, we had to wait 10-20 minutes (and they neglected the things they should have included ...) when they brought out the pizza as our main course, they didn't clear are already empty salad plates, and didn't bother to bring clean ones, so we basically had to eat without clean plates. When we asked for fresh plates, our server said no problem, then immediately started taking orders at two other tables, there were no bus people around to ask for help, so we basically just went the whole meal without plates. And they never brought the ones we requested. When we were asked, "Would you like dessert?" The timing to get dessert menu was 15 MINUTES. For over $120 - this was the worst pizzeria experience we've had to date. NO PARKING options is another big problem - No Valet. No parking lot. You're on your own to find metered street parking and watch the time - you will get a ticket on Ventura. No side streets to park on at night - all permited.
