4 slices 2 started oops delish!!

BEST PIZZA Stop looking for a spot in Marina Del Rey or Venice, low key spot (bad location in my opinion) food wise great freakin pizza we got a slice of the meat lovers, supreme, Hawaiian & pepperoni 4 slices total about $25 more than enough for 2 people. Super fair prices. The owner is very nice guy always helpful, low key spot where you're able to order by the slice !! Check it out

It's been a while since I've had Brazilian pizza, but it has a piece of my heart! To the naked eye, all seems like your regular Italian pizza, but there's something about the crumbly yet sturdy crust, something sweeter in the sauce while still maintaining that savory and acidic base, something so bouncy and melty about the cheese. I ate an ENTIRE pizza in one sitting. I started to get full, but absolutely could not stop. And now I'm sitting here in pain digesting and not regretting a single second of the tummmy ache.

Stopped in for my first time this past weekend for dinner and overall had a good experience however, the service could've been a lot better. It's located in a small shopping center that has plenty of free parking right out front. Inside is quite small, there are tables to dine in, but most seem to order to go from here. They have many different options on the menu from Brazilian pizza options to traditional Italian American options. They also have sandwiches and desserts. The issue we had is when we arrived and we walked in there were two ladies behind the counter. One looked at us as soon as we walked up to the counter and then immediately looked away and continued doing what she was doing. Another who eventually took our order, had her back turned for at least five minutes while we just stood there. It was odd to me that the first lady who saw us and didn't even say welcome or hello or anything, but rather we just stood there and waited for them to finish. Was not a great first impression. The food itself was pretty good however the center of my pizza was pretty soggy. We ordered a half and half of the Calabresa spicy sausage and Margarita. The flavors were nice, but I don't think it was cooked long enough or maybe had too much sauce in the middle because the center was very soggy even an hour after I picked it up. Overall, I would suggest if you are immediately in the vicinity like I am otherwise there are a few more famous pizza restaurants around LA if you are in the mood for the best version that you can get.

Spontaneously decided to try this place while visiting Marina Del Rey. I actually didn't look into the details of this place and once I ordered I realized it is a Brazilian style pizza! First time trying it, you can definitely tell the quality of ingredients is great, dough is a little on the chewier side but perfectly cooked. I enjoyed the thin aspect of it. I have to say their sauce definitely has different notes compared to the average pizza sauce. Felt much lighter. I'm happy they allow half/half options so you can try two in one. Hawaiian pizza was very delicious and felt very fresh while the burrata pesto definitely had brighter notes from the fresh cherry tomatoes. Didn't taste much pesto though. Tried their pistachio/ricotta cake and cheesecake brulee. Pistachio/ricotta cake was pretty balanced in flavor and sweetness, 7/10. The cheesecake brulee has a cookie crust which was interesting and a little too sweet, 6/10. Staff was extremely kind and I would consider trying other items. They have a very extensive menu.

` This is the ABSOLUTE BEST PIZZA PLACE, in all LA, they will take care of you just like one of their own family and treat you with undeniable caring and loving hospitality. Whenever I visit LA this is a must I have to go or I did not do LA right. :) Pizza is flavourful, crispy and has a lovely authentic classic braziliian flare, CHAMA.. I just went with the classic Sãu Paulo it was one of the best slices of Pizza I ever had. I work for a James Beard awarded chef and this place needs one of those awards truly amazing. Also, they have apple juice in the cute little glasses bottles my FAVORTIEEEE:)) must visit truly.

The food is delicious, the people are friendly and helpful, nice clean, casual environment. Highly recommend. Didn't give us plastic utensils this time.

I've lived right across the street from Sampas for a year now and always walk by it & thought I'd give it a try today. I got two slices of pizza and a salad lunch special and it was delish! All the ingredients were very fresh (sometimes salads and cherry tomatoes on pizza deter me) and the service was great! The gentleman was very accommodating with our customizations and I was happy I spent my money here. Ate the pizza before I wrote the review so didn't get a picture

Very tasty place, they have a very good selection of beers, wines and other drinks; their food menu is big and has flavors from 3 different nationalities also very tasty and good portions, they take their time for the food, its a great option for any time of the day even though their main courses are pizza they have a big menu, their outdoors is nice to go and enjoy a glass of wine, staff is very nice, place was clean and big.

This is fantastic pizza. We tried the São Paulo and loved it. We'd been meaning to make it here for a while and decided to go on a Friday. So glad we did. Food was amazing. Great cakes and drinks too.

Super-nice people running this place. Pepperoni Pizza was very good. I'll be back. (photo) If/when you use a Sampa's bathroom, please note that for true security, you need to use the upper, sliding latch (A). Doing anything to/with the knob right above the door handle (B) won't prevent others from opening the door while you are doing your business. The managers should put signs on/near these devices alerting users of these facts.

The marsala was also very tasty with balsamic glazed veggies hitting the spot. The service was lacking though. We placed our order and never got checked in on following getting our meals. Served with vodka sauce, it's delicious when it's hot, never had this dish elsewhere. It comes with two of it. However, it started to get heavy after half piece of it. So consider getting a salad to pair with it. Perfect for 3-4 person to share I'd say, or prepare to have some leftover if it's just two of you. Pepe-roni Pizza (8.5/10): honestly I quite like this, it wasn't a lot of filling so it's not the super heavy kind of pizza. I prefer thin crust pizza over super "bread-y" pizzas, this pizza is airy yet the crust is very crisp and light. Yummy. We had a server come and they apologized, took our order and relayed that our server is on his break. We realized happy hour was ending and ordered more when the drinks were dropped off. To get extra condiments, I needed to flag someone after trying to get their attention. Although the food came quickly, no one checked on us the entire visit. We asked the gentleman clearing our plates to bring us the check and we paid on our phone and left. Hearing the server at the table next to us, they asked about allergies, were checking in on how things are going every step of the way, offering dessert and providing way more than the very basic service that we needed to request. I'm honestly shocked that we had this very poor service experience. As for food and drink, the Aperol spritz and cocktail flight was solid. Fries were really great. The vodka rigatoni had a nice kick to it and caesar salad and meatballs were really tasty. As you can see, food was great, and I highly recommend their happy hour. However, the service was just so poor and based on this experience, I'm not too sure that I'd ever dine at Ospi again!

Appetizers: Focaccia (sfincione) - 5/10 (GF rating 4/10) Super greasy, like, very. Make sure to ask for extra olive oil on the side, as that does make it better as they do have delicious olive oil. The bread seems like it's also cooked in olive oil, but frankly if they made their bread and had olive oil on the side it would've been much better. The bread itself though, ugh that whole bottom was wet in oil. Super unfortunate. Solid but oily as heck. Rice Croquettes (suppli in Bianco) - 5/10 (GF rating 2/10) Forgettable.
