4 slices 2 started oops delish!!

BEST PIZZA Stop looking for a spot in Marina Del Rey or Venice, low key spot (bad location in my opinion) food wise great freakin pizza we got a slice of the meat lovers, supreme, Hawaiian & pepperoni 4 slices total about $25 more than enough for 2 people. Super fair prices. The owner is very nice guy always helpful, low key spot where you're able to order by the slice !! Check it out

Stopped in for my first time this past weekend for dinner and overall had a good experience however, the service could've been a lot better. It's located in a small shopping center that has plenty of free parking right out front. Inside is quite small, there are tables to dine in, but most seem to order to go from here. They have many different options on the menu from Brazilian pizza options to traditional Italian American options. They also have sandwiches and desserts. The issue we had is when we arrived and we walked in there were two ladies behind the counter. One looked at us as soon as we walked up to the counter and then immediately looked away and continued doing what she was doing. Another who eventually took our order, had her back turned for at least five minutes while we just stood there. It was odd to me that the first lady who saw us and didn't even say welcome or hello or anything, but rather we just stood there and waited for them to finish. Was not a great first impression. The food itself was pretty good however the center of my pizza was pretty soggy. We ordered a half and half of the Calabresa spicy sausage and Margarita. The flavors were nice, but I don't think it was cooked long enough or maybe had too much sauce in the middle because the center was very soggy even an hour after I picked it up. Overall, I would suggest if you are immediately in the vicinity like I am otherwise there are a few more famous pizza restaurants around LA if you are in the mood for the best version that you can get.

It's been a while since I've had Brazilian pizza, but it has a piece of my heart! To the naked eye, all seems like your regular Italian pizza, but there's something about the crumbly yet sturdy crust, something sweeter in the sauce while still maintaining that savory and acidic base, something so bouncy and melty about the cheese. I ate an ENTIRE pizza in one sitting. I started to get full, but absolutely could not stop. And now I'm sitting here in pain digesting and not regretting a single second of the tummmy ache.

Spontaneously decided to try this place while visiting Marina Del Rey. I actually didn't look into the details of this place and once I ordered I realized it is a Brazilian style pizza! First time trying it, you can definitely tell the quality of ingredients is great, dough is a little on the chewier side but perfectly cooked. I enjoyed the thin aspect of it. I have to say their sauce definitely has different notes compared to the average pizza sauce. Felt much lighter. I'm happy they allow half/half options so you can try two in one. Hawaiian pizza was very delicious and felt very fresh while the burrata pesto definitely had brighter notes from the fresh cherry tomatoes. Didn't taste much pesto though. Tried their pistachio/ricotta cake and cheesecake brulee. Pistachio/ricotta cake was pretty balanced in flavor and sweetness, 7/10. The cheesecake brulee has a cookie crust which was interesting and a little too sweet, 6/10. Staff was extremely kind and I would consider trying other items. They have a very extensive menu.

` This is the ABSOLUTE BEST PIZZA PLACE, in all LA, they will take care of you just like one of their own family and treat you with undeniable caring and loving hospitality. Whenever I visit LA this is a must I have to go or I did not do LA right. :) Pizza is flavourful, crispy and has a lovely authentic classic braziliian flare, CHAMA.. I just went with the classic Sãu Paulo it was one of the best slices of Pizza I ever had. I work for a James Beard awarded chef and this place needs one of those awards truly amazing. Also, they have apple juice in the cute little glasses bottles my FAVORTIEEEE:)) must visit truly.

This is fantastic pizza. We tried the São Paulo and loved it. We'd been meaning to make it here for a while and decided to go on a Friday. So glad we did. Food was amazing. Great cakes and drinks too.

Super-nice people running this place. Pepperoni Pizza was very good. I'll be back. Doing anything to/with the knob right above the door handle (B) won't prevent others from opening the door while you are doing your business. I've lived right across the street from Sampas for a year now and always walk by it & thought I'd give it a try today. I got two slices of pizza and a salad lunch special and it was delish! All the ingredients were very fresh (sometimes salads and cherry tomatoes on pizza deter me) and the service was great! The gentleman was very accommodating with our customizations and I was happy I spent my money here. Ate the pizza before I wrote the review so didn't get a picture

They have a few seats outside for you to eat at, but I think most do pick-ups. Second, I am a fan of Neopolitan pizza, but my only gripe is about how floppy they can be and not holding the toppings very well. Fiorelli combines Neapolitan-style and New York pizza together, so you get the rich flavors and thin slices of the Neapolitan-style pizza, but without the sloppy flop. Each slice, despite being thin, has structure and crispiness to it, so each bite is surely heavenly. Their dough is also slow-fermented, so it has a pleasant flavor depth that is almost similar to sourdough, but not quite sour. I got the Pepperoni + Burrata + Hot Honey. They are generous in the amount of pepperoni they give. Each pepperoni was cooked to perfection - curled and slightly crispy along the edges while packed with the spicy pepperoni flavor. The burrata was creamy and savory. The hot honey added sweetness and pleasant heat. I liked that they serve the honey separately, so you have full control of how much honey you actually want to drizzle on your pizza. The pizza is topped off with fresh basil leaves, oregano, chili flakes and aged parmesan. Everything came together very well. Lastly, their pizzas are sized perfectly. Enough to share, but if you're super hungry or eating only 1 meal for the day, it's enough for an individual as well. Only thing is price is on the higher end, but given the location, the quality ingredients and house-made nature of their pizzas, I think it's worth it as a treat from time-to-time.

That place has been around for almost as long as I have lived here and, well, maybe it should not have survived Pandemic? That might have been a mercy killing. But then ... a tech guy from New Haven, Connecticut came in and bought the old restaurant from the original owner and ... wow! What a difference! The pizzas are totally different now and so much better! Think "Mystic Pizza" more than "CPK" and you will see what I mean (check out my pictures for the details)! My surprise has turned into sheer delight! The pizza dough is now a 48-hour sourdough and it is incredibly tasty!!! They have about a dozen different kinds of toppings on the slices and so many of them are terrific! I do not eat meat on my pizza, but my friend just raved about how good was the sausage pizza! Personally, I was torn between the Plain Mootz (yummy tomato and cheese with a great flop; delicious sauce; tangy tomatoes; pure delight!) and the BBQ Chicken with savory sauce and tasty chunks of chicken! Two winners for sure! For those of you who want to eat more healthy, the new owner has kept the Salad Pizza -- and has improved upon the avocado by whipping it with lemon juice so it stays bright green and does not get oxidized and turn brown from the air. The best news of all is that the new owner, JD, is renovating and updating the shop, putting in new, more comfortable seating, and has hugely upgraded the beverage selection! LilGuy will be the new name soon, and this is sure to become a hot spot on Abbot Kinney Blvd., even without "Abbott's" in the name! Fantastic New Haven style pizza; crunchy, chewy, perfectly cooked dough with a great mouth feel; friendly staff; comfortable seating; and very affordable prices. The Lil Guy is sure to be a winner! This little Venice pizza shop is about to get a seriously beautiful makeover while still keeping the personality that made people love it in the first place. And let's talk ingredients. They're using quality products including Grande Cheese and Ezzo meats, and you can taste it. The BBQ Chicken Pizza remains one of my favorites anywhere--whole-milk mozzarella, BBQ chicken, smoky Gouda, red and green onions and just the right amount of BBQ sauce on that fantastic everything-bagel crust. And where else are you getting a Salad Pizza like this? Mozzarella and ricotta are baked on the everything-bagel crust, then topped with greens, tomatoes, onion, feta, lemon vinaigrette, Parmesan and whipped avocado. It sounds crazy. It works. Abbot's will always be one of the best pizzas in LA. New owner, new energy, beautiful changes coming--and some seriously good pizza. I can't wait to see what comes next.
