This is in the big shopping plaza on 44th and Thomas. If you live in Arcadia, chances are you've shopped at Arcadia Crossings and you might have seen signs all over the parking lot: "$5 watch batteries". I saw those signs for about 3 months and still neglected to break out a Lincoln and get my battery fixed. Finally the stars aligned and I had my watch with me and a few minutes of free time. The store owner Jenny was helping a customer who magically kept pulling watches that needed new batteries out of his jacket (in July mind you) asking if she could fix them. No worries, I browsed though the Arcadia News which had a stack of their newspapers there. Once Jenny was able to help it only took a minute for her to fix the battery and have my watch ticking again like new. They charge a couple bucks for the install so with tax $10.29. What I did like about the place is when talking with the owner, I found out they have been around for years, back when there was a big mall where the Wal-Mart sits today a couple blocks down the road. Her and I'm guessing husband had a small cart at the mall and ran everything. When the mall closed and the big shopping center was opening up, they made the move. I didn't buy any jewelry that day, but any small business open for over 25 years in the same neighborhood should tell you something. If anything they are worth a visit on your list of stores to check out and if you can't find anything you like, go over to Costco and get a hot dog and soda. ZERO stars. I brought my $600 Swiss army watch in as I needed to have a number placed back on the dial after a drop. Should have been a quick, cheap job. I jut picked it up and it looks like crap. There is excess glue all around the numbers, which they say "I have to live with". As I was making my case with the Asian lady who owned the place, one of the other workers was snickering in the background. Not only that, this simple job took 3 weeks to complete as they had to send it to California to fix because they did not have to tools to put the watch back together. Worst of all, the crown/pin was not attached properly and is loose. This place needs to be put out of business. Bottom line, Do not trust them with your jewelry even for seemingly simple jobs. read more

I went here last week to have a sentimental family heirloom, my ring, repaired. It has my initial, the letter P, and it had came off a few months prior, and it was lost. I Googled "jewelry repair in Phoenix", and found that Watch and Save Jewelers was close to me. I am so glad that I found this place. Kevin, the owner, was both friendly and professional. I told him what I needed done and he explained how he would repair my ring. Their prices were very reasonable, and it was done in a timely manner. Kevin was amazing, and he did a great job. The staff members are friendly and complete tasks relatively quickly, but the products and accessories that the shop sells are uniformly shoddy in quality. Watch bands break within days and batteries die in rapid succession. read more

After they replaced the battery in a watch that I brought them, I got the bill and thought it was too cheap, so I tried to tip the woman. Absolutely the best place to go for watch battery replacement. I'm sure they are great at other things, but I can only speak on watch batteries. They have the best service. I called when they were closing and they stayed open to help me. He stayed late to replace (8) watch batteries. They guarantee their batteries for (2) years. I highly recommend this place. I've brought in two watches for new batteries. These people are honest, but they don't let go of a buck once they get it. One watch they tried to fix twice, and then had to give up. They nicely gave me a credit for the $10.00 I had spent-I didn't have to ask. The other watch runs perfectly-with a one year warranty on the battery. Wonderful service on repairing antique and vintage pieces for me- I brought in a rare 1930's Matilda Poulat (Matl) icon from Taxco, Mexico, that needed several small missing turquoise gems replaced- the color match was perfect and you can't tell where it was repaired! They even fixed the patina where I over polished a corner. Always fast and courteous repairs for very reasonable rates. read more

My wife showed up 5 minutes prior to this establishment closing. The door was locked with the open sign still showing. She made eye contact with several of the ladies working inside but they all ignored her. All she wanted to do is drop something off which wouldn't have taken more than one minute. Great business been going hear for years very honest people the owners and the girls who work there are very nice and bilingual I've had from watches to jewelery repairs everything they've done for me has been done the right way no complaints at all they work fast do most repairs while waiting they charge only $9.50 for replacing a watch battery with a year warranty they last waaay longer then a year they also have a great selection of jewelry they offer layaway plans most of the time when I go I'm helped by kevin or Jenny the managers and also by Alejandra and Luz on the afternoon shift who are great and very fast with watch repairs love this place and recommend it to everybody you won't regret it !!! read more

What a joke! First of all, ZERO stars, but it's not an option. They don't even deserve a single star. I bought a watch band, only to go back THREE times to have it 'fixed'. The owner's version of fixing it was to 'glue' the parts together. On the third visit I told him to replace the whole band--I had only worn the watch on three different occasions, only to have it completely fall apart each time. The owner REFUSED to replace, or even attempt to fix it. He told me to 'buy a new band' from him...what a joke! Don't waste your time or money at this place. read more
