I was so impressed that with his promptness, work, and price that I made a note to use him exclusively, This week the water heater stopped working again. It is 15 years old and the life expectancy of water heaters is 10-15 years, so I thought I would have to replace it. I went to Home Depot which referred me to a service company 300 miles away. They said an electrical permit and an electrician would be required -- true, if it is a NEW installation. The extra $450 made me balk. I decide to call Clear Flo again, figuring there was always a chance that it might be something that could be repaired. Bryan made an appointment, called to say he would be a few minutes late. When he arrived, he immediately checked the circuit breaker (my first guess, too), then removed a small panel on the water heater, pushed a red button, and the problem was solved. Total charge: $0. They estimated a big window for service (5+hrs) but when all was said and done the tech was at my door within an hour of my initial call. Brandon was very polite and solved the problem quickly. It looks like they will do heating, cooling and plumbing throughout Milwaukee, Waukesha, (and possibly) Washington counties. I would definitely recommend!

While I was not crazy about Pam in our initial interaction, she got better over time. After comparing multiple bids, I selected Seider, their Daikin Central Air unit came with an almost unheard of 12 year parts and labor warranty. With a little back and forth with Todd on a time for installation, we were all set. Pam and I scheduled the day and time and sure enough, the installers were there exactly when Pam said they would be. Just two minor quibbles that prevented five stars here: 1) After installation, the installers left behind some screws on the floor that I naturally stepped on in stocking feet several days later. 2) The electrician asked before using my bathroom, but did not feel the need to wash his hands afterwards. He retired, the company changed hands a couple years ago and this is what happened. The new tech "Nick" arrived and immediately declared our existing unit obsolete. He never layed a meaningful hand on the equipment. Since it was 26 years old I decided to go with his advice which lead to cursory look at our furnace and a caution that "Carrier" was fazing out of residential HVAC equipment and they no longer sold it. He suggested that we stop right there before he did any "work" and have his brother "Dan" come in to give me an estimate on replacing both units. He said there would be NO CHARGE for him since he hadn't done anything. He left and Dan came an hour later and gave me an estimate for roughly $14,000. It was emailed to me. When I looked for it the first thing I saw was a bill for $135 for "Cancelling the Tune-up"! There was nothing wrong with my equipment so I called the "office" and this awful receptionist, Heather, immediately got defensive. She insisted that the technician should have told me about the charge and that she would have a lien put on our house if I didn't pay! She Hung up when I told her that she likely just caused her company to lose a $14,000 job. I called back the next day, hoping to get through to anyone who understood the situation. If they were going to charge me $135 for nothing, I wanted them to come back for the $179 tune-up. "Heather" answered again and refused to forward the call, and hung up again! I am a respected business man in the real estate and financial business for over 40 years. I have given out hundreds of referrals over that time. I would never recommend this HVAC company again if they were the last one on earth!

While the yard did get torn up I think they did a better job than at preserving the grass than some of the other contractors I've seen. It was a simple job, straight up the front yard but the best part was the hookup in the basement. All copper pipe and fittings with all the amenities you could ask for: pressure regulator, pressure gauge on the home side, a tank to absorb any over pressurization of the plumbing. Even the city inspector recognized the completeness of the work done by Eleete.
