I stumbled on this place by making a wrong turn. I was on my way to my usual place and found myself here. So I just needed water so I went in. I filled all my bottles and went up to pay. When I got to the register I realized I didn't have my wallet. I tried my Apple Pay but it would not work. So we went back and forth about what to do and I suggested I dump the water back out and I would come back another time. The lady working said no, don't do that, just come back and pay. So I left, went home, got my wallet, and went back and paid. I was very appreciative that she let me go and that's why I went right back. I would recommend this place just for their kindness and for trusting me. They also have thrifty ice cream and various drinks plus they have an ionized water machine and an alkaline water machine as well. 5 stars! read more

I've been coming here for years for my water, usually 10 gallons of alkaline water every 2 weeks. I've become a bit of a water snob--it's alkaline everything i won't even drink bottled water any longer. Alkaline ice cubes, alkaline in my keurig, alkaline in my hydro flask, even my cats are drinking strictly alkaline. Tiffany is usually always there and it's a family owned business, she's always so kind and talkative---just a good person. I've never needed her to give me the short off her back so to speak but I imagine her to be the type of person that would. Definitely the type of local business you want to support, because the "alkaline" water they overcharge for at the store is not true alkaline, so it'd be terrible if they ever weren't around. I live in TX but have visited Tempe over the last three years for over 12 months totAl, I have family here and they have always gone h to get their alkaline water. The water is excellent, much better than the water store where I go in the suburbs of Houston. Tiffany has a good heart and is a kind soul, yes she may seem different, but none of us knows her struggles, instead of complaining, why not try to be considerate, understanding and be thankful that you are not challenged, since you have always got it all together. I believe in supporting people however y can, not kicking them when they are obviously deal with the challenges of life. this one is open late which is convenient but if you can wait til the next day to find a different store i highly recommend that... went here with my bf and when the owner walked out i immediately noticed she was barefoot and it looked like she had been all day. she offered to take our blood pressure for $1 and there was already a guy there who was getting it checked (cvs blood pressure machine kit). she kept my bf's card in the card reader while she went on a 5 minute slurred rant about Jim Carrey, Bruno and the South Pole. all i can say is i hope she gets the help she needs read more

I'm not sure if anyone remembers "Thrifty" brand ice cream...it has long since disappeared in my home town in CA That said, I couldn't help but stop and get a couple of scoops for the sake of nostalgia. Of course when I was a kid, scoops were 10 cents! 2 scoops is considerably more expensive today! I am losing fat off of drinking PH11 Alkaline water from here. I have a fat belly from Starbucks lattes that I stopped drinking when I started drinking this PH11 water. We pulled up and the employee was smoking about 8 feet from the door with the door open. The entire place smelled like cigarettes and he didn't even come in until after we filled our 2 gallon jugs. I came in and was treated like I wasn't there at first and got a poor attitude but I figured it was because of the teens inside being obviously disrespectful so I brushed it off..she walked to the back and came out with a soup bowl filled with microwaved BOBA pearls( I heard the microwave) she passed me and I saw her pull a hair out of the bowl ..I should've left right then BUT seeing that the icecream was no where near any of that I asked for a quart ..I REALLY wanted the ice cream half n half cuz I wanted two flavors..all of a sudden she couldn't speak English clearly THEN she proceeded to fill a styrofoam cup (not an ice cream container) I thought at first that she was filling my "quart" because of all the "scooping" ...IT WAS ONLY A PINT FULL..I realized the container was too light and measured it ..EVEN THEN I was like I'll just eat it and NEVER go back again!!!BUT as I got to the second flavor I GOT A MOUTH FULL OF FREEZER BURNT ICE CREAM which she chose to put at the bottom..at first I was going to chalk it up as a loss but then I thought after all of that and paying for a full quart I decided to put it in my freezer and return it the next day. Unfortunately, when I returned the product the owner/operator of this establishment was very rude and told me that I had to return the FULL container for a refund!! She knew she sold me freezer burnt ice cream and put it at the bottom of the container also she knew that she did not give me a full quart as well ..I convinced her to give me my money back with the threat of reporting her to dirty dining and the department of health. I like Distilled water for many uses at home. I have been drinking distilled and alkalized water for many decades. Their alkalized water is good but slow flowing. I have purchased several gallons of alkalized water but the slowness allowed me to purchase my on machine online. However, I go into the store and purchased Distilled water. I love it. The customer service is another process. Some people enter the store just to purchase their water, fill and leave. If you have paying patrons please don't rush persons whom are filling tall 5 gallon jugs. They are heavy and bulky at times. I do not want the small talk so next time dont rush me out if I dont engage with you. I am not there for CONVERSATION. While I see you slow walking others for convos, dont RUSH me since I fill many; minimal is 6, 5 gal. jugs. I pay and I want to left alone. by both the asian woman and the black woman. Everytime I approach the parking spot and park, I cannot be 5 minutes out of the car and here she comes talking nothing. Stop implying someone is dirty or not worthy of your water. I have received water via delivery for 20yrs and washed many jugs and caps with Dr. Bronners soap. Dont RUSH me out of your friggin' store because I refuse to engage in the non-sense talk. Slow Walk and engage non-sensical speak with someone else...I am speaking to the Black Woman and the Asian woman. I prefer not to drink Tempe's highly chlorinated tap water which was in your toilet the prior week so I regularly venture here to get bottle filtered water. It's about the taste for me. It's been the same Filipino woman running the place for the years I've been using this business. For most of that time it's been pleasant, friendly, amiable. About 6 months ago, I went in and I don't know what was going on with her but she was rambling, mad at somebody, incoherent...appears to be on something or a severe lack or sleep or something. She said some rude things to me again and again and when I went to pay her wouldn't hand me my change despite my asking several times and then threw it at me, still mumbling stuff I couldn't understand. I took my money and left. While I still use this place because it's close to other stores I need to hit when in the area, I don't engage her at all since then. Not even to greet her.
