    Avocado sandwich

We loved this hotel's hospitality, beautiful location, and relaxing atmosphere. The setting overlooking Lake Washington is one of the main reasons we would gladly return. Our only disappointment was our brunch experience. We arrived around 1:00 p.m. after arranging a late checkout. Although we noticed more than 20 empty tables in the restaurant, the hostess told us that no tables were available, so we were seated at the bar instead. We still enjoyed the beautiful lake view, but the way the message was delivered didn't sit well with my husband. What made the situation even more confusing was that during the entire time we had brunch, from about 1:00 to 1:45 p.m., only one of those empty tables was occupied. The rest remained empty the whole time, making it difficult to understand why we couldn't be seated at a table. For brunch, I ordered the avocado sandwich, and my husband ordered a traditional breakfast. The prices were reasonable, but my avocado sandwich was underwhelming. It had all the basic ingredients, but it was missing the balsamic vinegar drizzle that would have added much-needed flavor. Overall, we were not very impressed with the food or the restaurant service. Despite that experience, the hotel's stunning location, relaxing ambiance, and overall hospitality made our stay enjoyable, and we look forward to returning.

Just your average hotel breakfast... slightly elevated to be right on the water with a view. Crab cake for an extra 17$ wasn't worth it at all... expected a more meatier one being that in this close to where they come from. Service was immaculate, thanks to my waiter. Nothing special and nothing too bad. Just average. I love staying at this hotel though so it works for me.

Missed our flight home and quickly booked a room at the Hyatt Regency. Looking for someplace for diner and really wasn't in the mood to go searching for a place. This restaurant is on property, has amazing views, a nice dining room and bar. The food was good. Loved the risotto and the bone marrow. Knocked off a star for service. Waiters are friendly food service was slow. Bartenders also friendly but you had to chase them down to order.

Stunning views of Lake Washington paired with a. Pretty eclectic menu. They were out of the smoked salmon so we opted for the manilla clams and the fries chicken and French toast. Tha manilla clams were a bit under slated but perfectly cooked. The bread was a bit over charted but when asked they provided another slice for us to gobble up the garlic and juices. The chicken thigh was hammered out coated in a crisp coating, not greasy. There was some sort of orange butter on the chicken but it could probably be skipped as I wasn't sure if it provided anything to the dish. The portion on the chicken is VERY generous as the 2 large chicken piece are accompanied by 5 pieces of french toast. Service was really nice and the space is open and inviting. Great place to stop on the way to or from SeaTac and the offer complimentary 2 hr parking as they are located in the Hyatt Regency.

It's not clear to me how the Southport development is really doing economically, but this restaurant is still legit being inside the Hyatt and with spectacular views for this area. Parking has been modernized with the plate readers and QR code, though initial registration can be a little annoying. Food is great and I'm confident that the drinks here are decent as well - all the right pieces are in place. It's just highly unlikely I'd ever do business or a HH down in Renton. Service was outstanding - from our waitress to some of the runners and bus boys. They get it.

Six years later and Water's Table deserves an update - but still remains 5 stars! My original review was just for their HH, but I've been for brunch several times since then. My most recent brunch experience was for after my sister's high school graduation. I was tasked with finding the brunch spot for the family to celebrate at (as per usual) and Water's Table immediately came to mind for their stellar menu, gorgeous views of Lake Washington, and let's not forget... BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS. My family was wowed by the view and everybody was happy with their food, which I wasn't surprised by. I had to call and make a reservation as you can't make a reservation for parties larger than 6 online, and they were happy to accomodate. Gratuity is automatically added for a group that size, just fyi. Our waitress was awesome and very personable the entire time during our visit. I will say this isn't the best spot to take kids because their kid's offerings are abysmal, but my son wanted the order of their Ricotta Pancakes. WAY too freakin' big for him as it's a regular adult entree, but he was happy with the amount of powdered sugar on top. My husband went with their fried chicken and french toast which was a BEHEMOTH of a dish. Absolute unit of a portion. It was topped with a spicy butter and I'm not sure how, but he finished the ENTIRE PLATE. So, that should tell you how it tasted. I went with the Crab Benedict and was a little surprised that it was actually a Crab CAKE Benedict, and not with lump crab like I expected (my dad assumed the same). After we altered our expectations we both agreed that it was good. Other table items included the Croque Madame and Three Little Pigs Scramble, all of which was also enjoyed. And remember how I said bottomless mimosas? You read that right! One mimosa is $12 and bottomless is $22 (if I'm remembering correctly) so I mean... Let the girl math do the talking here. It just makes sense. They have four flavors: cranberry, orange, grapefruit, and pineapple. Pineapple was my favorite - and they do not skimp on the champs. We don't make it here often but it proves to be a consistent favorite. Definitely the spot for a fun summer brunch if you're in the area!

Really disappointed honestly. I love this restaurant and the food is usually great, but finding a piece of eggshell in my meal while I was finishing eating completely threw me off. Stuff like that really shouldn't happen, especially at a place like this.

Really good group lunch experience on a Thursday afternoon. We were in a private room and it was perfect for our gift exchange and conversation. The server was great, really attentive and more than pleasant. The food was a 10/10, everyone agreed! Perfect sizes and seasoned to perfection. The fries/frites are top shelf. Fluffy inside and perfectly crisp on the outside.

First when we came we didn't know where to enter, there's was a sign on the side of Hyatt building, that had waters table logo, so we assumed we enter through there, turns out that is the wrong area to enter from. We had to re enter from the actually Hyatt building, from there it was easy to locate. When we got to the line, the couple in front of us didn't have a reservation, we had a reservation. We got seated in the very back while the couple w/o the reservation got seated in the very front, with a perfect view. The couple behind us in line even got a good spot to sit in. They both got their drinks served while we didn't get a drinks menu or options. I've never been to a restaurant where drinks weren't asked! I was sitted at such a bad area, right by the loud fan, at my anniversary dinner smh but she did turn it off when we asked her too. But i did have a sweet server that tried to help me out, she even offered in the middle of our dinner to be seated in a nicer area, but once the server asked the hostess if we can sit in that area she gave me such a bad vibe, she didn't let because she pulled the server off to the side. I assumed she didn't let us move so i just told her I'll just move my seat so the sun is not directly in my face. The food was mid, the wait was super long. I've been to many fancy spots and this one just does not do it for me sadly. Just cause i had a bad experience does not mean others will but i still feel hurt that on my anniversary dinner i experienced this. But i can tell the server tried to make it better expeirnce but it was ruined all throughout by the hostess and the cook that took too long to bring food out

Food was delicious and the service was great. We also enjoyed the water views. Will definitely be coming back.

We came in 12pm on a Wednesday and it wasn't busy at all. The service was great, our server he was friendly and attentive to everyone. My favorite was the clams, I liked the sauce it was cooked in. Not too buttery, still light and flavorful. I like the bread they served with the clams. The fried halibut is cooked well. The steak was also cooked decent. But overall the food here is 7/10 for me personally. I wasn't the biggest fan of the tacos, it was lacking flavor. The sauce for the tacos was a bit bland as well. I think this spot is great for views of the lake and just to catch up with friends or a little simple date with your partner! I'd definitely do a summer time sunset dinner here though, I'm a local to the area and the sunset here is gorgeoussss.

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency and gave this place a try for breakfast and dinner. Their waterfront view is absolutely gorgeous. You get to see few airplanes from Boeing which is little different than usual waterfront restaurants. Their breakfast and dinner was delicious. I tried pancakes, a fruit bowl , charcuterie board , onion rings and salad. The service was excellent for all the days I've been there.

Ask the Community - Water's Table

Does anyone know if they allow dogs on the patio?

We are pet friendly in our guest rooms but only allow dogs at our seasonal restaurant dock & drink.

When it's cold out, is the patio covered and have heating? The only available tables for valentine's day are in the patio.

The patio is indeed covered. There is also heating out there; if they have the clear plastic shade drawn and the heat on it can be quite comfortable. I have dined out there in December with no issue in those conditions.

Do you still offer the brunch buffet? It was last asked 5 years ago and a lot of places have done away with them

We do not offer a brunch buffet any longer no

I am coming from Houston and want to try out your brunch on Saturday. Do I need to make a reservation for 2 people?

I recommend yes! It does get busy and you probably want to secure your spot.

Do you take reservations and if so how many days in advance can I make that reservation?

Yes, they take reservations. Depending if it's a special occasion you should a least 3 weeks in advance. Don't forget to put in the request for a window seat. Lake Washington view is absolutely beautiful!

Do you still serve bottomless mimosas?

Yes, they have bottomless mimosas for brunch with purchase of food. And there's currently (as of 5/20/22) a two hour limit so they won't let people hang out all day drinking.

Since the Hyatt is Pet Friendly, do you allow dogs on the outdoor seating area?

Simple answer no because per Washington State law animals are not allowed in any food establishments which the outdoor dining area would fall under. Especially since you'd have to pass through the main dining room to get to the patio. That said…

Do you have tents and heaters on the patio?

The patio has a roof and there's heaters attached.

    Is there a kids menu?

No, they don’t have a kids menu.

Do you guys serve Brunch Breakfast Buffet?

Yes, there’s a brunch buffet served on Saturday and Sunday.

Does anyone know if they serve happy hour on the weekends?

Water’s Table doesn’t have a happy hour. They have a bar menu which is available on the weekends, but not like a dedicated happy hour.

Is the back deck available for rent per hour for events like a baby shower?

    Yes, it is.

Is there any parking available other than the valet parking? I appreciate the answer, but are there…

Hi Virginia, Currently we only have valet parking available. We validate up to 2 hours. Hope to…

Is your brunch on Sundays a buffet or a brunch menu?

Hi Heather. We offer a breakfast buffet until 12PM, and have a brunch menu available until 2:30PM. Please let me know if you have any additional questions!

What are the restaurant hours from mon-sun?

Hi Clara, Monday-Friday we sever Breakfast from 6:30AM-10:30AM. Lunch from 11:30AM-2:30PM.…

Overall, Ludi's definitely knows how to cook. The food feels like a tasty fusion of Asian and American breakfast comfort food, and it's hearty enough to keep you full for hours. I ended up skipping lunch. I'd absolutely recommend it, and I'm already looking forward to coming back to try the ube pancake.

The food was outstanding, and our waitress provided excellent service throughout the entire meal. She was friendly, attentive, and handled a difficult situation with professionalism. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by how the manager on duty, Sam, handled an accident. While helping our waitress deliver our food, he accidentally dropped a container of ketchup that exploded all over the side of my body, covering my arm and my white button up shirt. Accidents happen, and I truly was not upset about the accident itself. What disappointed me was the way it was handled afterward. Immediately after the incident, Sam insisted that a rag with sanitizer and water would remove the ketchup from my white shirt. He then disappeared and never checked back with us until we were preparing to leave. At that point, he handed me the general manager's business card and said I should contact them to have my shirt laundered. After we explained that we were from out of town, he continued to insist that laundering was all they could offer. My wife politely explained that would not be practical and that the situation needed to be addressed while we were there. Rather than working with us, Sam simply walked away. Our waitress had no idea what was happening and was left trying to manage the situation herself. After some time, Sam walked past our table to tell our waitress, who was helping another table, that my meal had been comped because of the incident. He never came back to our table, never looked our way, never apologized directly, and never acknowledged our appreciation for comping the meal. It felt like he wanted to avoid the conversation altogether. Our waitress mentioned that the owner truly values customer feedback and takes reviews seriously. If the owner reads this, I want to be clear. Your restaurant is excellent. The food was fantastic, and your serving staff represented your business very well. However, Sam's handling of a simple customer service issue fell far below what I would expect from someone in a management role. Accidents are understandable. Poor communication, lack of accountability, and avoiding customers are not. Based solely on our interaction with Sam, I believe he is doing more harm than good for an otherwise outstanding restaurant.

She really stood out--so helpful on menu options (she was very knowledgeable), attentive, proactive, and all around wonderful!! We had oysters, shrimp cocktail, wedge salad, sea bass and black cod. Both fish dishes were excellent in preservation, freshness, flavor and preparation. Cocktails were really good too. Nice and refreshing. The sourdough bread service is complimentary and decision with the salted butter. We noticed several families here with their young kids so we checked out the kids menu--great kids menu with fish options on it! The restaurant ambiance is fun and beautiful. We will definitely be back!

Perfectly salted butter, and the taste reminded me of sourdough but the texture of the bread itself was like a very crispy crunchy outer layer over a martin's potato roll. - The Grand (3/5): I learned that I am definitely not a shellfish person.. so keep in mind of my biased take! I wish the waiter explained what came on our plate, but he quickly scooted away. The scallops were my favorite. Nice and mild and sweet flavor. The grand also came with 6 sauces to pair. Wasn't sure which sauce went best with which, but doesn't hurt to try? shell on shrimp and lobster claw were the second and third bests in my opinion. - Grilled Black-eyed Perch (4/5): got a smaller 1.2 lb fish. Can get it grilled and fried. Fried is ~$4 more. This fish was around 38-39/lb at the time of writing. Flavors were so great! Not a bony fish at all and didn't have to really pick at it. A tad dry in certain parts, but again, nice salty, zesty from the lemon and herbaceous. This place is definitely on the $$$ side, so can see ppl coming here for special occasions.

We chose the bar patio, which was cozy, fully covered, and set up with a handful of small high-top tables, making it a really comfortable spot to relax. The drink menu could use a little more detail, since none of the draft options were listed. When we asked about cider, our server checked and let us know they had a cherry pomegranate cider on tap. For beer, the options were simply described as an IPA and a lager, so we went with the lager. It was good, though we never found out which brewery it was from. We also ordered a mule, which was well made. For happy hour, we shared the half charcuterie board ($12), and it was beautifully presented with a great variety. We were impressed enough to stay for dinner afterward. We ordered the burger and the Greek salad with chicken after learning they were out of prawns. Our server also thoughtfully mentioned they were out of Kalamata olives in case that changed my order, which I appreciated. Both entrees were delicious. The burger stood out thanks to the homemade ketchup, which was especially good. The Greek salad was fresh and flavorful, though a bit light on portion size. Service throughout the evening was friendly and attentive, and by around 7 p.m. on a Friday, the restaurant had become quite busy. Overall, a really enjoyable experience with great patio ambiance, solid food, and warm service.

The house made ketchup they are so proud of is very sweet. So if you really don't like sweet with your fries be warned. So decided to try them for dinner. I had the zucchini lasagna. Yikes. Lets call it dry cheese lasagna with a sliver or 2 of zucchini. Was really expecting a more veggie type dish. Not what I got. Also the arugula and pickled red onion salad was super bland. My hubby tried the halibut dish at 42$. He had an overcooked piece of fish and a side of basic potatoes and broccoli. So sorry to say that this place....as cute as it is and a nice as they are is off our list.
