I just left a super positive review a few months ago and we've been going here often and we love their pizza and salads. Just we noticed this particular server...she was wearing crop tank top. Hair is messy ponytail. It's okay it's her style or she wants to show her tattoos or whatever. She brought 3 dishes by herself in her arms, and our salad bowl was touching her armpit. It just felt disgusting and nasty. The table was sticky and we all lost appetite. A lady at the front desk was keep picking her lip. I'm not asking them to cover up, but if you guys are serving food, servers should at least look clean. Don't try to carry all the food at once if you have to use your armpit!!! Very limited menu and staff were not helpful. I had the cordon bleu fold and it was not good. Too much bleu cheese, chicken was chewy and stringy. On the plus side they made a decent "hot" buttered rum. It was warm but otherwise was a good flavor. If it was hot it would have been better. It took 20 minutes to get it so it may have been hot so I can't blame the bar. It was not overly busy but service was slow. When asked about the menu they seemed disinterested. Yes!!! They've got good selections of beers. It was my first time visit that place and ended up having this delicious, delicious pizza there they made from scratch with everything on it. Omg I'm coming back for such pizza night again! The restaurant-pub is very cozy and modern city feels. That's my style! Service is great, food is really bad. We took my cousin, who is from out of town, here for brunch. They people are really sweet and accommodating. But the food definitely has something left to be desired. Almost all of my party did not like their food. First, they took FOREVER to get the food to us. I ordered eggs benny, and the eggs were legit hard boiled eggs. I asked for new eggs, and, again, the food took forever so my ham and beer bread were cold by the time my new eggs came. They kept saying their kitchen was short staffed. I hear you and have sympathy for that, but get it together. I would avoid this place. read more

Came here to meet a friend for dinner. We got artichoke spinach dip and a pizza to share. First, service was not the best. Seated very quickly, but no warm greeting. No ice in water, straws or napkins given (i later requested napkins with our food). Server took the dinner menu after order just the dip and had to ask for the menu back to order mains and she did not seem happy to. After being served food the waitress came about 1 min in and asked if everything was okay and we said yes. An hour later, no water refills, no check-in. Soon enough I got up to use restroom and she came immediately to ask if we wanted the check (without even asking if there was anything else we wanted... drinks etc). We declined and paid the check and left. Kind of weird service experience, no manners or inviting feeling. Now to the food. Artichoke dip was very good. Pizza had good toppings.. you can do half/half. But the pizza was complete burnt and rock hard. Im a crust person and didnt even eat the crust it tasted like charcoal. You could bang the pizza on the table and it wouldnt bend. I would have told waitress but... we went an hour without anyone stopping by our table. Maybe she will notice when we left our food and didn't take leftovers to-go. Kind of unfortunate when you come out to tip for nice service and better food than what you can make at home. Our PTA Board met at the Watershed for a very pivotal meeting. The owners were extremely lovely in coordinating with us to create a space where we could meet and hear each other. The wait staff were attentive and accommodating even after we had more than expected people and some individuals arriving later than others. They split our checks many ways and never batted an eye. They have a good happy hour menu and etc can't remember all the details. I do remember you get a $1 off for their "Well drinks" good deal! This past Friday at my company office we had a beer exchange which happens about once every month. The beer exchange went so well on my way home back up North from downtown Seattle, I decided to stop at the Watershed Pub & Kitchen with my father. I have never been to this establishment and was surprised that I had never been or seen the place. The location is kind of difficult it being across the street from the Northgate Park and ride and below the Thorton Place apartments. When you first walk into the Watershed you get a warm welcoming and comfortable feel about the place. All the employees there were very friendly. Their beer tap list was phenomenal and my father and I server noted that they don't only serve pizza and that their grilled cheese was famous. It was happy hour so I ordered a beer and the famous grilled cheese and my Dad ordered the Margarita pizza bites which ended up being basically a whole mini pizza. Both were very delicious. By the time it hit 5:30- 6pm the place was packed, bar top was full, it was fast paced a lot of bartenders and bar backs, drinks were getting poured it was an active fun, Friday evening. I couldn't believe I had never been to this place and I instantly messaged my 3 siblings saying we all needed to come here soon it being at Northgate which isn't far from where we all stay. I just got laid off from my job earlier this morning and my family wanted to guarantee I got outside to do something fun and different to lift my spirits. We ended up at the brand new Watershed Pub and Kitchen earlier this evening. What a great find and awesome addition to the urban village of Thornton Creek/Northgate! Impressive entrance with the customized iron work. Bright industrial interior tempered with wood work, smooth banquettes and tables, and eye catching lighting. A wide variety of seating arrangements are available to accommodate singles, two tops and upward, and groups. Plus folks with kids are able to dine in designated areas. Sports on the TV screens, an area for darts, and upstairs section too. Evidently down the road there will be outdoor seating to take advantage of the view of the Thornton Creek Watershed. Genuine welcoming vibe from the restaurant staff. Our family enjoyed our friendly and knowledgeable wait person, Janna, who helped us navigate through the menu choices. The husband tried the Tieton Wild Washington Cider ($6) and the kiddo had two glasses of root beer ($5). Husband had the Optimus Grind sandwich ($13) which had San Marzano tomato sauce, basil, pesto, finocchiona salami, Canadian bacon, Mama Lil's peppers, mozzarella and provolone on a toasted Macrina roll. It also came with mixed greens that were lightly dressed. Dressing choices include ranch, red wine vinaigrette or honey lemon. Me and the kiddo shared an 18 inch Delizia Martino pizza that had Beecher's Flagship, blue cheese, parmigiano reggiano, goat cheese, and mozzarella on an olive oil base ($18). We were allowed to have half the pizza with goat cheese, while the other half had the above toppings but with added bacon. Loved that the pizza was piping hot and a chewy, delicious crust. Managed to have some leftover slices to box up to take home. The food and beverage menu will guarantee that everyone in your party will find something of interest. Lots of beer on tap, in cans, and tall boys. There's also cider, wine, cocktails, and other non-alcoholic offerings. Food is of high quality ingredients and locally sourced whenever possible. There's a variety of appetizers ($13-15), salads ($6-9), sandwiches with salads ($10-13), and pizzas ($13 and up). Hours are generous for nearby workers, shoppers, commuters from the Northgate Transit Center, movie goers, and the surrounding neighborhood. Another great dining option in the immediate area! Met a friend for dinner and wine for some girl talk. Last minute changed to here since traffic trying to get anywhere else was out of the question. Had to wait a bit since if was dinner time and also a game was on. Notice the build out and decor as it is in a newer building so your typical retail commercial space that has no character. But they did such a good job trying to make it fill less commercial and more of your neighborhood bar restaurant, using lots of wood and comfy furniture. We ordered a pizza with two flavors. Half was Mama's: san marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella, mama lil's peppers, cascioppo brothers italian sausage, parmigiano reggiano and fresh spinach. The other half was the Ricotta Salsiccia: san marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella, cascioppo brothers italian sausage, ricotta, bell peppers and garlic. We definitely had leftovers :) I like my crust a little more crispier in the bottom but overall it's a good pizza, dough has flavor, toppings were good and enough sauce for me to not complain. Hard as heck to find. Stick it out though as I think it is worth it. This place came up in a search I did in my local neighborhood, so I wanted to give it a try. It took me about 10 minutes to find it as there is no sign, and it is not near the other restaurants in that area. Look on the SW corner of the building near the creek. Anyway, they have a great selection of rotating beer taps, and the bartender was both nice, and knowledgeable about the different beers. I ordered their soup of the day, which came with a great piece of cheesy bread. Both the soup and the cheesy bread were quite yummy! The pizza's looked really good too. It is a nice place to just hangout in a low-key environment, and has free Wi-Fi. Give it a try! read more

This is just what the Northgate shopping area needed! I have been here three times now and have been pleasantly surprised and pleased each time! Their pizzas are 18" huge and definitely good to share. Plus they let you half/half it if you are vegetarian and trying to share with a carnivore friend! The salads are also ample in size and fresh-sourced farm to table yummy! Beer selection is great for everyone - gluten free? Check! IPA? Check! Planning on seeing a movie at Regal? Come here first to get your $9 tickets - regular price over there is $12.50 for evening showings! Then come here after for $1 off a drink for everyone in your party - just show your ticket stub! In the back area there's a place for live bands to set up and play on Sundays and when they aren't there you can play darts. Music selection has always been on fleet of you ask me. Last time I was there they played all the good stuff from Weezer's blue album. The time before that they played the Fleet Foxes, Cold War Kids, and the Dodos. If you plan on going to see a movie at Thornton Place in Northgate, this is a great place to grab some food & drink before the show. It's a little tough to find, but there are signs to direct you, it's on the backside of Thornton Place. Came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch before our movie, nice looking space, new, clean and relaxing. Sitting at the bar was comfy as well. Menu looked good but the pizzas is what caught our attention. So we decided to order the "Mama's Pizza". Quite tasty, freshly made with delicious tomato sauce, yummy sausage, those lil spicy peppers, plenty of mozz and topped with a spinach pile. Pizza was nice & thin, perfect for folding to shove in your face. The pizzas are pretty large, I think they are 18" so its plenty for 2 people. Service was fine, atmosphere was nice, on certain Saturdays, they have a DJ playing some old skool hip hop cuts from R&B to 90's rap etc. DJ came over to admire our lovely pizza, we tried to share with him but he already had lunch. If I see him at a club, Ill be sure to remind him of our pizza encounter. Overall, I liked this place, definitely a spot I would come back to. The times I've been here have been marred for reasons ranging from the very mediocre food to the generally inattentive wait staff, but this Saturday we didn't even get as far as a table. We stood for a while waiting for the hostess and waitress standing an arm's length away to react to our presence, but despite making eye contact a few times, neither of them spoke to us or approached us. This gave us time to remember all of our other visits and all of the time we've spent there trying to get the attention of our servers and waiting for mistakes in our orders to be corrected. One visit stands out for our having been scolded by a waiter for seating ourselves according to a sign at door directing traffic to our section. No one was seating customers that evening and this waiter spent all of his time waddling around the house and shouting to his coworkers. During that visit, we were served cold food by another staff member and the waiter never returned to our table. Once we had time to think it over, we realized that a weak restaurant with foot-dragging servers wasn't deserving of yet another chance for our business. We left without ever even hearing the voices of the hostess or waitress near the door. They had been engaged in a whispered conversation together the entire time we waited. One of our friends said "don't get the grilled cheese, you can make that at home!" I made him eat his words. I got the classic grilled cheese with ricotta cheese and chicken added, and tomato soup. LIFE CHANGING AMAZINGNESS! My friend and my husband both got the Folds, which are basically calzones. When they came out though, they were just pizzas folded over. My friend was jealous over my grilled cheese. Ha! Glad that's what I went with! Amazing grilled cheese, and a huge portion! Pricey for grilled cheese,$11 + $1.50 for the added chicken, $1 for the ricotta and $1 for the tomato soup. Expensive ass grilled cheese but well worth it. $5-$11 for beers. Came here for happy hour on a Thursday (starts at 3pm) with a large party (greater than 10 people) and we got seated immediately. There wasn't anybody in the pub at the time. Drinks: I wanted a light ale and was open to suggestions. Apparently it was our server's first day and although he didn't know the beer selection very well, he recommended the Alaskan White Ale. It was smooth and not too hoppy, so I have to give him props for his suggestion! Food: Right when I saw their happy hour menu, I knew I had to get the half grilled cheese with tomato soup. Been craving this for awhile and there's this one place in San Diego called "Bread and Cie" that has the most amazing grilled cheese/tomato soup combo you will ever have. This place wasn't as good but it definitely satisfied my craving! The cheese was gooey and the tomato soup was creamy and delicious. Some places I've been to tastes like their tomato soup is out of a Campbell's can, so at least this place has some legit tomato soup. Some people in my group got the margarita pizza and the garlic sticks, which weren't anything special, would not recommend getting it. Service: At first, the servers were very attentive and came frequently to check up on us. They gave us good recommendations but as our visit progressed, they came less and less frequently. When we asked for the bill, they were kind enough to split the check (which apparently they don't do if they're busy, but since they weren't that busy, they made an exception). We waited for half an hour, literally, for the checks to come and a few of us needed to leave ASAP to make it on time for work. Overall: 3 stars for their subpar service and their mediocre food. Alright, Watershed...you've grown on me. When it first opened, I was not a fan. Probably because one of the first times I came, there was a dude playing loud folk music and I couldn't hear a thing my friend was saying right next to me. I just had a bad first impression and didn't come back for a while. Fast forward a few years, and whether I changed or it changed, it's now my wife and my go-to spot. Living just above at the TP apartments, it's no mystery why we started coming more often. But Watershed quickly grew on us. The many beer choices. The friendly team. The overall relaxed vibe. It's become our friendly neighborhood drinking hole. Foodwise, you got some solid sandwich options and a few good salads, but what they're best at is the pizza and pie folds (a pizza folded over itself slash basically a calzone) They also have family spaghetti nights (I think Tuesdays?) which my wife and I still need to try It does get a little loud when they have live music, but hey - they're supporting local artists so can't really hate on that. read more

Service: wait to be seated (for the bar too), order at the table, check brought to you, you will be watered. Service seems a bit slow--seems understaffed because the servers seem a bit frantic. Food takes 20-30 minutes to come out after ordering. Award Winning Grilled Cheese: very hearty and coma-inducing. Flavorful but I felt that there were too many grilled onions. On a rare night out my husband and I decided to catch a drink before a movie. It was obvious that this was a popular spot by the line out the door so we grabbed a stool at the bar. This was a great move, as we got to enjoy watching the expert bartender make some great cocktails for other guests. I was in for our own treat when we asked Charles to come up with something light and summery and he delighted me with a hibiscus-infused cocktail that was as beautiful as it was good. We liked it so much, that we went home and ordered a bag of hibiscus flowers to try to make it on our own. Thanks for the inspiration and great time Charles! PROS: good location, connection to the community - charity events, trivia night etc, pretty good food, local beer. Get the beef stroganot which has pieces of beef mixed in with elbow macaroni and gooey cheese. It is so filling yet so good! They are well known for their pizzas which are crispy crunchy and totally worth getting! I love the spicy chicken pesto with red peppers. It is mild spicy to me. My group also got the Waldorf salad which had fresh spinach, strawberries, goat cheese and about 5 chicken slices. It was missing the walnuts. They also have a decent menu of beers, wines and hard liquor drinks. You can also get snoqualmie root beer here in a pitcher. Not sure how much it would cost to get vanilla ice cream for your root beer float though. They were very accommodating for our group and placed us outside on a nice summer day. Fun little place for happy hour. It's got plenty of seating and a neat menu (mostly mac-n-cheeses, pizzas, and variations of pizzas). There are some TV's up so I'm sure people in the area come to watch sports games and such. Everyone in our party ended up getting the "famous" grilled cheeses, which were pretty good and come with a small cup of nicely seasoned tomato soup. The menu was slightly confusing, in that the grilled cheese on the menu is located right under the beer bread sandwiches section that also says "served with a side salad." Since ours came with soup already, I guess that means it doesn't come with salad. The $2 to add pepperoni to a grilled cheese also seemed a bit excessive when you're already paying $11 for a grilled cheese. Happy hour deals were alright, $1 off some food and $1 off well drinks, wine, and beer. 1/2 grilled cheese with soup is on happy hour for $7, so that's probably the way to go if you just want to try the grilled cheese and some other items. I enjoyed the pretzel that I ordered. Service was okay. We didn't order drinks this time and I felt like our server was slightly snooty because of it. They serve brunch too, and have fun events and trivia some nights. I'd come back to try some of their other food items. read more
