After interviewing several water filtration companies I chose Waterwise/ Nuvia Pro System for whole house water filtration and water softener and could not be more pleased. Our water in OC is very hard and full of chlorine - I was not only worried about my family's health but also the pipes of my home (several plumbers tell me all the pinhole/slab leaks are due to hard water/chemical in our water). I am super pleased with the result. The sales rep Shawn was super helpful and the installer Hugo was super nice and professional as well. So far I have noticed: softer hair/less brittle, soften skin, much better tasting water, shower steam does not smell of chlorine and is no longer unhealthy to breath, no more water spots on dishes and for some reason dishwasher cleans better (no more soap residue). Wow !! What a customer service !! Shawn returned my call almost immediately and took his time carefully explaining what soft water system does and answered all my questions patiently as I had no knowledge of soft water system. His main competitor did not even return my call. His price quote I thought was very reasonable. He did not push me into more expensive system but explained all the pros and cons of different systems with different price tags. On the day of installation, Hugo and his coworker showed up on time and installed the system in about 2 hours. Shawn also showed up and sat with me to explain more about the system and warranty, etc. Because Hugo forgot to bring salt bags, I rescheduled for salt delivery in few days. However, Hugo forgot due to his busy schedule. When Shawn was contacted, he was very apologetic and immediately delivered enough salt bags to last 3 months AND also delivered Lowe's gift card to use for my next salt purchase !!! We have the Nuvia Pro and reverse osmosis systems for about a month, and couldn't be happier. Just before having this installed, we got a tankless water heater. In reading the warranty info for the water heater, without the filtration system in this area, the warranty would be only good for half the original. All of our water appliances are now reaping the benefit of cleaner, softer water. The water looks and tastes so much better. One of the features I love about this system is that I can adjust the softness level to our comfort. It is very easy to use and maintain, and takes up less space in the garage than our old water heater tank. He was super friendly and gave me all the information I needed and answered all my question. Excellent service. Now as for the system itself, I can't say enough good things about it. I'm extremely picky with my water. I'm a girl who loves soft skin, and soft hair with clean water to drink. I spend thousands of thousands of dollars on facial products. But I always felt my water was too hard so no matter how wonderful my products were, my hard water would still make my skin dry. Ever since I got the system, my skin is so soft. After talking to a neighbor about how much he liked his soft water system that he purchased and had installed by Shawn's company, I checked on Yelp to read the reviews of Shawn's business. The overwhelming number of reviews gave him 5 stars with descriptions of how pleased they were with all aspects of the installation and function of the equipment. I called Shawn and left a message, which he returned within hours. After meeting with Shawn and getting a full rundown of all options (with no pressure to buy more than I needed), I picked a day for installation. Gary and Shawn arrived that day and Gary spent close to 6 hours installing everything we ordered. The job was professional and looked great. Gary even offered to put a spigot in my garage in case I wanted to use the soft water to wash my car in the driveway (at no extra charge). The system works great. The glasses which we have used for the past several years were covered with a film of calcium build up. After washing those glasses in the dishwasher about 3 times in 10 days, I noticed the calcium buildup was completely gone from all the glasses land they looked brand new. After learning that several of the homes in our community had experienced the major expense and inconvenience of pinhole leaks, my wife and I became curious if there was anything that we could do to pre-emptively save ourselves a major major headache. Our background isn't in chemistry so we found ourselves feeling very confused and overwhelmed as we started to research the cause of pinhole leaks, the quality of our water, and what can be done to address it. In total, I think we interviewed 6 different company's (and sat through their water tests) before meeting Shawn from Waterwise. He was the first salesperson who sold the way I want to buy: no pressure (we always sleep on it, and some salespeople pressured us to make an immediate decision), answered every questions without selling me by trashing other businesses, and their pricing was reasonable. He made it a very easy decision. Once we decided on a package that worked the best, everything was installed within a couple of days. Hugo is exactly as every review says: easy to work with and great at his job! After the install Shawn even called from his vacation to make sure that we were pleased with everything. Since having the softener installed we've noticed some huge differences with our water. We renovated our master bathroom in February and within 4-months the faucets started to show scale. After the softener was installed this was gone within a week. The film that's on our children's shower door (it's 13-years old) has slowly started to lift. Our dishes are much cleaner now (our infants bottles look like they're right out of the box). We opted to have the osmosis filter installed and everyone loves the quality and taste of the water (especially me...I don't have to buy 1-2 cases of water from Costco a week and lug them all over). We feel such a piece of mind about the pipes, the water quality that our kids are drinking and showering in (do a little research on what's coming through your pipes and a system like this will sell itself), and our fixtures and appliances are functioning better (I forgot to mention that the scaling in the dishwasher has disappeared as well).
