If I could leave a zero I would! My father came in to town and the "service brakes soon" light came on during his trip from Yuma to Tucson. I worry about my folks so told my dad to take it to the Chevy place to be checked out. I mean brakes are important right? Anyway, one hundred dollars later he was told nothing was wrong and low and behold the VERY next day the "service brakes soon" light is back on!! This is even more insulting because my father purchased the extended warranty which was useless and in Yuma the Chevy dealership wouldn't have charged him a thing!! AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! AVOID THIS DEALER: First off, let me start off with some background. I'm a college student and am trying to buy my first car. With that being said it has been about 5 months I've been searching for a truck and coordinating with my parents, so I believe to know that car dealing process pretty well. I have been to 10+ dealerships and not once did I feel as disrespected, cheated, and unworthy as I did at this dealership. First pulling up I was greeted by a salesman. I told this gentleman what I was looking at online and that I am ready to test drive. He went over to get the keys and we got in the truck. To this point he didn't really talk that much, nor did he copy/take my license. He simply gave me the keys, which was my first caution at this dealership. After the test drive I wanted to purchase the vehicle, so we went in to run some numbers. This is when things get sketchy. The first number that came out was WAY above what the internet pricing was listed at. I qualified for every rebate they had and had to fight to get them. Side note: After battling for the rebates they came back to me with the number that was online, plus a dealer add on and I said "well what about the rebates, there's a military rebate that should be added, no?" The poor salesman said "There's a military rebate?" I replied, yes, shouldn't you know that and he said oh it's already in the final number. AGAIN, they tried to rob me of more money by not breaking down the prices or actually giving me the rebates I qualified for. After getting the manager to come talk to me personally he pulled up the website and showed me the disclaimer (FOR LAWYERS) that says *pricing may not be accurate and include all dealer add ons. The manager told me they try to low ball it online to get people in and then cheat them out of money. I was distraught at this, because the truck was not only listed at the wrong MSRP online, but even the wrong internet pricing, because they didn't add the $3,500 tires. I got up and walked out. After that I told my dad what happened and we emailed the manager Joe Watson himself on March 24th, but never got a reply. Eventually the salesman I went in and saw at the dealership contacted me again and I asked to see what the best price they could do on a truck is and he emailed me back with a horrifically grammatically incoherent email, which I replied with I will be going with another dealership, because I am in shock of how poor your customer service is. Just wanted everyone in the world that may read this post to be aware of the incompetence that is out there when purchasing a vehicle. Again this is Watsonchevrolet.com- 520-292-1500. I bought a new Chevy Diesel truck 2015 in Tucson, AZ from Watson Chevrolet. I'm writing to inform everyone of the horrible experience we had when purchasing our truck. I have filled out their survey and utilized their online web page to contact them requesting the name of the owner of Watson dealership to no avail. We arrived in Tucson, AZ on Sunday evening 11/23/14. Due to our own truck breaking down several times on our trip pulling our trailer we decided to upgrade bought a new truck on Monday 11/24. 1) Chris Fisher, salesman was ill prepared to answer our questions about the truck and finance. 2) We found truck we liked and asked Chris what the cost would be to add nerf bars? He said he couldn't quote us a price until we finalized a deal. Really?? We got a price immediately on his cell. 3) One of the things that happened made me get up and walk out of the dealership was when Chris told Us he would have to drive to the New Mexico border to sign papers because we were buying an out of state truck. WHAT??? I was upset saying I just drove 1000 miles to spend Thanksgiving with family and you want me to drive half way back? Yes mam they did say this exactly so we said it was ridiculous and were leaving. Some finance guy stopped us at the door and asked what the problem was and we told him. In a split second he sad that wasn't true about Us needing to go to the NM border. While truck is out of state purchase for us they handled the papers all the way through. I was in no mood either to deal with this nonsense. So I asked about the nerf bars and truck bed liner and a miracle happened that these two items were throw into the deal. So we signed the papers and financed through Wells Fargo, also told them he wanted to remove his 100 gallon diesel tank he installed (it would take him 15 mins) to do it but was told they would take care of it. Remember this was on Monday, on Wednesday evening they were still going back and forth about doing it so I went into the service department to speak to whomever was in charge. We had been in their dealership every day of our vacation taking time away from our family visit. We were not happy about any of this. The service mgr. said "well we just got the truck and will remove the tank in the next hour". WHAT! I did raise my voice to him and called him a "liar" pointed out the fact they have had our truck for 3 days now and stop this mess now. All of the sudden he got one of his 3 service that were all sitting around his office to get the job done, after telling us another lie that OSHA prevented them from doing this service. It was so frustrating working with Watson Dealership we regretted buying the truck from them. We told them this was no way to treat a customer that just bought at $55K truck. They did not care and kept blaming each department for the mix ups. Fast forward to December 2014 and we are struggling to obtain copy of title to be able to register the truck in Texas. Dealership has the ball in their court to get the process started, there were so many delays. I called them from Galveston County Tax Office to get answers and was told by Kim @ Watson's Title Dept. that we were not financed through Wells Fargo but some company named (Ali). I ask who is that, she said "your finance company that why you haven't gotten the papers you need". So I called them and we have no account with them, so I called Wells Fargo again and confirm it is financed through Fargo. Time after time, call after call we can't get the answers to any of our questions. So to date we still don't have the truck registered because AZ is a "Title Free" state, meaning all titles are digital online and not paper. SOoooooooo, I still don't understand the problem in getting this info to our tax office to proceed. Every department we have called say it is Watson's responsibility to have done the paperwork. Fargo finally said Watson's sent them what they needed but what was sent to me instead of the tax office was a plain letter w/o a copy of the virtual title or link or something concrete to go forward with title registration. Galveston County Tax office can't believe how much trouble we are having stating they deal with AZ titles all the time. So we continue make calls. read more

I DON'T TRUST WATSON CHEVROLET IN TUCSON AND WILL NEVER DO BUSINES WITH THEM AGAIN. I brought my truck in to Watson for repair after it was hit in the front left and sustained $1500 in damage. The wreck was not my fault and the other driver's insurance paid for the damage. A week after I picked up my repaired truck from Watson Chevrolet, I took it back in for maintenance to Watson. They informed me I also have a broken left front motor mount that would cost $500 to repair. I told them the truck had just been in there for left front end work last week and it must have been missed. They told me no it wasn't missed on the inspection and had been broken for a long time. TOTALLY NOT THE CASE! The truck was impeccably maintained up to the time of the collision. One of two things happened... 1)it was broken and Watson missed it or 2) they let me drive out of that dealership with a broken left motor mount. If you bring in a vehicle with left front end damage shouldn't the left front end motor mount be checked? Then, Watson Chevrolet tells the responsible insurer that the broken motor mount wasn't part of the wreck. No chance of getting it repaired by the responsible party. I have spent THOUSANDS at Watson Chevrolet in the past couple of years...and they treat me like this over what is probably a less than $100 expense for them. I love Chevrolet and have dealt with numerous dealers in numerous states. In my opinion, Watson Chevrolet in Tucson is a blight upon the Chevrolet brand and it's corporate parent would be well advised to look very closely at this operation. read more

When I purchased my vehicle, I was told I would get a complimentary car wash and vacuum when I serviced my vehicle. However, I did not receive either. When I asked after the fact, the gentleman that brought me my car stated I had to ask for a car wash, but the vacuum was extra. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed. Also, no one ever came to update me on my vehicle's status while I waited. I waited about an hour and 15 minutes for my oil change on a slow day. read more

I made the appointment the day before. I arrived early and the doors opened promptly at 0700. I was immediately greeted by a service advisor. As my vehicle was being serviced they came into the waiting area to let me know it was almost finished. The waiting room is clean, the coffee was hot and fresh as were the pastries provided. Very disappointing. I would NOT recommend this shop to anyone. During a recent recall service, the AC low line was damaged and, instead of fixing their damage, passed it on to me as if it was preexisting. And it was not. My truck had just been completely and thoroughly checked several days prior, and the AC was working perfectly the morning of the appointment. Within 10 hours of the appointment, all of my AC coolant had leaked out of the damaged line and I had no AC. Following up with several people in Tucson, I came to find that I was not the only customer who had had damage done to the vehicle during service and forced to incur the cost of repair. When I followed up with the management after to give them a chance to fix what they did, the management acted very poorly and obviously did not care about taking care of their customers. Very poor customer service. They have lost not just one customer, but my family, and friends. I would not take any vehicle here. read more

I had a 2018 Malibu, loved it BUT I went into the repair bay and pointed to a scratch on my windshield that popped up after it went thru their car wash. While talking to my service tech, Jesse; some greased up, fat slob jumps into the passenger side of my car and points out if I don't let them replace the windshield it will blow up and possibly kill me. I got him out of my car, drove to a local glass shop where a man with a little buffer and some goop got rid of the scratch in minutes. Same car-heard a sliding sound under the drivers seat every time I went around the corner, took it back numerous times. In one instance they kept it over night and when I got it back it still made the noise and several hundred miles was put on the car. They denied it til I showed them the work order with the intake miles listed. Drove the car to another state where some hot run builders told me to chill out with my friend and give them my car keys. 3 hours later, no more sliding sound under the seat. If my next car is a Chevy, will probably go to O'Reilly for service, already use Discount Tire as much as possible. Watson can't even read an air gauge correctly. read more

Very unsatisfied and horrible service. I went in with the intentions of purchasing a new truck and left with the intentions of never going back again or recommending anyone to that dealership. I went in and was helped by Luis (Louie) Castro. Him nor the store GM make any intentions to try approving me for the truck I wanted. Luis told me in a very rude way that if I wanted to make that purchase I would have to save for years and bring in a very large amount for a down payment. He also said he has been "doing this for 13 years" and that every other place was going to tell me the same thing. Next day, I went to O'Rielly Chevrolet and purchased a new pear white 2018 Chevy Silverado crew cab Z71 off-road LTZ with no co-signer or a "large down payment". Went through the Costco Auto Buying program. Was contacted by Tom Thompson from the sales department. Went in the next day to look at trucks. He was very friendly and professional. He was knowledgeable about the trucks. I felt no pressure to buy and he got me an excellent deal. They also gave me almost exactly what I asked for my trade in (high end kbb) without initially low balling me or making me fight for the price I wanted. I have purchased several new vehicles and this was by far the best experience I have had with a dealership. If I could give Watson Chevrolet a zero I would! We took my vehicle in due to the brakes being low intermittently. We made it clear the issue and that the ABS module may need electronic bleeding. From the get go the desk guy David was extremely rude and condencending. We still proceeded to have them trouble shoot and fix the issue. We got the car back and the problem was still there. What needed to be done was not and other services were listed on the paper work that could not fix the issue. We called and recived no call back. We called again and were told we would get a call back in the morning which also didnt happen. We took the car back over and tried to solve the issue with them and again David was extremely rude. He began to laugh at us and roll his eyes. This eventually turned into them yelling at us and refusing to correct their mistake. We will never go back to this dealership. They were extremely unreasonable, confrontational from the start, and and did not bother to investagate the core issue. Do not purchase any "lifted" vehicle from here! I was inquiring about a 2016 GMC Sierra on a 6" lift with deep dish rims and 35" tires. I had my 34k check ready to purchase, 1 week in the shop turned into 2 weeks than into 3.... The sales rep told me "I have bad news " the front tire blew out due to the control arm rubbing inside of tire and that they would replace them for me and fix the lift to an offset lift..... As the customer they did not include me in the new wheels or tires they purchased for the truck.... they got 33" tires and the cheapest rims they could find at discount tire!!! I had to go to discount myself and talk to the mechanic SAUL who told me the truth in what they told him to do, TO ORDER THE CHEAPEST RIMS AND TIRES YOU CAN FIND.... I'm disgusted and appalled in the way that they screwed me over, and they weren't willing to drop the initial price after altering the vehicle.... they changed everything without my input even though I was purchasing the vehicle. Second time purchasing a brand new vehicle from here and will be the last. The first time we had no issues everything was taken care of I did not have to chase anyone down to get things done. This time I can't even get anyone to call me back. Purchase on 11/11/2017 and still have no registration for my truck. This is only one issue I have had. Can not get anyone to return my calls unless I mention speaking to a manager. Even after having issue with first truck still came back and are now regretting it due to poor customer service. Craig Short at Watson Chevrolet was no Bull, professional and no pressure, I was treated with respect and no nonsense. It started with as add I saw and followed up on. Craig was assigned to me. I was truly blessed with this assignment, Craig had the car ready to go when I arrived for a viewing and test drive. We discussed a few things I wanted fixed and Craig went out of his way, above and beyond the call of duty, to handle the problems. Craig took the Kia to the Kia dealer to get the best knowledge for the car. Craig is a true gem and I highly suggest you ask for him to help you at Watson Chevrolet. I bought a 2017 Kia Sorento. Long story short: my guard is now down and Mason and Watson have proven themselves to be extremely trustworthy and reliable for service on my vehicle (with very fair pricing as well!). Do not ever buy a car from Watson, they have the worst customer service and finance department in the city, I have bought many cars from different dealerships across the city and I have never dealt with incompetence at this level in my entire life. I traded in a car for a used vehicle. 35 days later they still have not paid off the trade, I have already had to make one payment on the trade in vehicle that is in their possession and another payment is coming due. Additionally, I am pay interest on the outstanding loan balance each day the loan is not paid off. Numerous attempts to resolve this with the dealership has left me with runarounds and deception. read more

We were driving cross country and our truck wouldn't start and Charlie (tow truck savior) towed our truck to Watson Chevrolet and Phil had someone on stand by waiting to check out the truck after closing time. I was told when i bought my truck how great the service dept. was. I made my appt. for my 1st oil change over a week ahead of time for 1st appt on a saturday at 8:30am. I sat there for an hour before I noticed my truck was still parked in the same place. I asked why it was not getting worked on and the girl said it took a long time to get the paperwork done? Another hour later they were done with it. 2 hours of waiting for a oil change with no tire rotation. They also gave my $60,000 lifted black 4x4 truck a horrible car wash to top it off. Looks like it was washed with dirty water and dried with dirty rags. 3rd truck I have bought from this dealer. Going to a different chevy dealer from now on. read more

Surprised. Very poor service. Definitely not live up to your caliber of previous work. I called ahead twice and told them my concerns with 2006 Silverado and I would drop off today since it was not a scheduled visit. I would simply leave the vehicle with Watson and they could at their discretion perform a routine service, fuel filter change and repair a rear window since Watson replaced that particular window motor 1.5 years ago and it has continually squeaked since AND they inadvertabtly reversed the direction of the door lock at the time of repair and they could simply fix their mistake. It didn't quite go as planned. 1st person came out and asked what I wanted. I explained I no longer had a service adviser since Ziv is now a service manager and my most recent adviser no longer worked their. I was told my vehicle would not be ready today. I told them I was quite aware since I called earlier. He wrote nothing down, didn't pull my vehicle history and told me someone else had to help me. Here comes Victor, also not pulling out my vehicle work history and asking the same question as the first guy without writing anything down. He also told me it wouldn't be done today. Again, ok. I Told him about the window as well. I explained It had only been 1.5 years since the window motor was replacemed at Watson and because the door lock had been inadvertantly reversed at time of replacement, perhaps they can just look at it while they are redoing their work and simply take care of the nasty squeak since it had been like that since it was returned it to me. I was explain their work is warranteede for only one year. But again, since they had to reverse the lock maybe they can just fix the squeak since it was just likely dirt on the roller. I was called shortly after by Victor that again I might be charged for it. I told him I would not be happy with that. I'm a very loyal customer. I certainly don't lie. Just fix your previous mistake I told them and maybe just grease the window rollers while they're there. I received no other usual phone calls like rear differential fluids needed to be changed or transmission fluids, etc. I was notified the vehicle was done just before closing TWO days later and that I had not been charged for the window problem. Come time to pick up my vehicleI found that in fact I had a $50 charge for a "diagnostic" evaluation of the window problem which revealed "there was dirt" in the rollers. I couldn't discuss this with Victor since he had already left for the day. Two other employees I talked to could not resolve/answer the issue. I was upset since Watson would not simply cover their mistake really at little or no cost to themselves since they had to fix their lock problem. After a very simple workmanship and credibility issue yet drudging long pathetic impasse, Miles to the rescue. He stated quickly and earnestly that this whole thing was silly. Watson should have simply covered the window issue. It's simply took a little grease to fix the squeak while they were there. There was no need to run a "diagnostic code" to resolve this problem. He quickly took it off my bill. Not sure I'll be taking my several GM vehicles back to Watson anytime soon unless I use Miles as my new service advisor. I did quickly receive a phone call from Victor to see how my experience went overall and was hopeful for an outstanding rating. My opinion was much different than what he requested. I sensed he had very little experience as did several other people during this visit. Usual service had been expeditious and quite thorough. Not the case this time. The overall strangest and most uncomfortable thing about the experience is that my wife simply made asked "is that the new Colorado?" to Victor pointing at a vehicle at the service department. Oddly, within a minute, a sales person came over to the service department wanting us to look around at their new models. I came to service my vehicle and not look at new vehicles. I understand they're just trying to do their job but if I was looking for a new vehicle I would've been looking for a sales adviser. My recommendation, focus on service at the service department and focus on sales at the new car lot since at service you have much to repair. read more

For service, we recommend Watson Chevrolet over O'Reilly's Chevrolet for one main reason, they have a better respect for their customer's time. We moved to AZ more than 4 years ago from a small state with a lot lower population, which meant our local Chevrolet dealer had a lot less customers with more free time to give us 5 star treatment when it came to purchasing a vehicle or having one serviced. But now that we know that is no longer an option, we feel obligated to let other Chevy owners know their best option in Tucson is Watson's. The reason for 4 stars and not 5; after a handful of service visits with our 3 Chevy vehicles, the last one being a simple oil change was less impressive. We called to schedule the oil change, but it took 2 1/2 hours from our scheduled appointment before our vehicle was brought in, a vehicle we purchased from them a year earlier was also not washed before being brought out. We understand they were probably falling behind schedule, but out of courtesy for their loyal customers they should make a quick call to offer the option to reschedule and at least warn them of the delay getting their vehicle in, especially since it's a simple oil change. But as far as sales; we had no big issues, all sales are painfully slow no matter where you go and we didn't have to do a whole lot of haggling to get an agreed upon price. And they were prompt in fixing some minor issues found with the vehicle. read more

I did a trade in, I wanted to upgrade. They worked with me & I financed with GM. GM asked the dealership to work with them, & without any hesitation they made the deal work. Love my new car. I just recently took my car for a service/oil change, which was free. I went in on a Saturday as a walk-in. They told me the wait was doing to be up to 3 hours. I bought an extended warranty for 2300 cash. Jeremy the saws guy said "it's the very best warranty" me thinking bumper to bumper. Not once did he say not everything will be covered and you will have to pay at $90 dollar diagnostic fee if it's not covered under the warranty. He proceeded to say I could get my money back prorated for the last couple of months. Prior to this when I got the warranty inspection Mason the service guy had no problem charging me to fix car and over charging me, not returning my calls because he wanted to give me services on credit, I said no I want my money back for the over charge. They like to charge misc costs to your bill to see if you're paying attention his supervisor said it was taxes. Which is crap the invoice showed the taxes this was extra. I had to go through my card company to get my money back. When I called to talk to the general manager twice he could never be reached. Always busy and no return calls. I even contacted the BBB and they wouldn't return any messages to the BBB. Shade company all around. Avoid them and go to O'Reilly Chevrolet on the East side if you really want to own a Chevy! read more

This is the worst dealership I have ever been to. I recently got into an accident with my 2012 dodge ram that was totalled. I pulled up in my son's honda civic, which I'll admit is not a looker, with the intent to buy a new truck in cash. There were three salesman outside that just watched me look around and offered no help whatsoever. After about 30 minutes I went up and asked if I could test drive a 4 door silverado and one just looked at me in disgust and said he'd hand me off to another sale man like I was a bag a meat. I immediately left and went to buy a truck at O'Reilly chevrolet where I had an amazing experience. Lost a sale because your crappy management and team. read more
