I hired these guys to fix my pool that had turned green from a previous pool company. I paid…read moreJohhny and Trinity thousands of dollars to get my pool back but they never delivered on their promises! These people are devoid of character and ethics in business . They drained my pool and did an acid wash, charged me over $300 for "startup chemicals" and assured me the pool would be clean for my tenants but they knew all along that they were going out of business so they stopped sending the pictures with the weekly status reports and started ghosting me when I inquired about why I haven't been receiving the pictures and of course no reply! Against my better judgment and as a gesture of good faith, I prepaid my pool service from September until February so I didn't have to deal with very unreasonable tenants. To my surprise, Johhny and Trinity did not refund the remainder of my prepayment and lied to the new contractor Desi at Pool Medic who to my surprise tried to get me to pay for Dec & January pool service . They seemed like honorable people, but I can't warn you enough to stay away from these people if they ever get back into the pool business again. They ghosted me and then claimed they didn't sell their business to another vendor and to my surprise I got a bill for services that were already prepaid from Pool Medic. Johhny assured me he would send me receipts of the credits to my credit cards but as of today that never happened. Nevada law says 10% upfront only and every time they did work for me they wanted 100% upfront. What a disappointment and betrayal of trust! Karma will get these two!

First time customer…read more I had a burned out pool light. It's supposed to be an easy fix, that turned out to be anything but! The pool smart team gave me practical advice on how to do the repair economically, and was even cool with me shopping for parts online. No upsell or up charge pressure at all! It turned out to be a really complicated replacement, due to a lot of difficult job site conditions that weren't expected at the beginning of the job. The pool smart team completed the repair the same day, and everything is working perfectly. Solid choice. Look no further!

We hired Vidal and Vintage Pools for our backyard project and signed the contract based on what was…read morespecifically listed in the written agreement. The project started, and while there were some minor issues with scheduling and timelines, I will give Vidal credit for responding quickly when concerns were raised. He apologized and worked to address those issues promptly. Because I have been extremely busy with other projects, I relied heavily on what Vidal communicated throughout the process and did not revisit the contract in detail until additional money was requested to complete items such as rocks, plants, and other landscaping features. When I reviewed the contract again, I discovered that many of those items appeared to already be included in the package described in the agreement. It reminded me why I chose to move forward with the project in the first place. The current disagreement is that Vidal believes certain items were removed from a prior version of the agreement and that subsequent communications clarified the scope. My position is that I made my decision to proceed based on the written contract and the representations contained in that document, which still listed those items as included. At this point, I am hopeful we can reach a reasonable resolution and that the project will ultimately be completed in accordance with the contract. Aside from this dispute, communication has generally been responsive, and I appreciate the efforts made to address concerns when they arise. I will update my review once the project is completed and this issue is resolved. MY REVIEW WILL BE UPDATED ACCORDING AFTER PROJECT FINISH.

Within a month of our pool completion, the decking began to bubble, flake, tear. Contacted Vidal multiple times; he blamed it on our pool water or our pool guy, then sent his guys out to patch it up (done poorly, texture didn't match). Within days it started to bubble again. In fact, we are now on year 3 of continuous decking issues. The decking has NEVER been acceptable, we just get busy & tired of begging Vidal to stand by his work. Communication with Vidal is exhausting; I have the text to prove it. Finally we decided to get advice from other concrete companies. Both companies immediately identified the concrete as bad; likely mixed improperly or expired when it was installed. (Interesting how 2 separate companies diagnosed bad concrete immediately, whereas Vidal blamed it on pool water?!? I believe he knew it was bad all along, just was hoping we didn't ever find out.) We received quotes between $5,000-$15,000 to repair what Vidal & Vintage did. When I reached out to Vidal again, he offered to fix it.....at my expense. How generous of him to charge me for concrete twice. No thank you. I do not trust him or his work ethic. At this point, the concrete is in such bad condition that it's becoming a fall/ foot injury risk. The flaking decking is sharp, the underneath concrete is slippery when wet. I highly regret meeting Vidal & I would never give him another dollar.

The pricing was super reasonable, they have great knowledge, and are super down to earth. It feels like your dealing with people and not a company. We moved into a house with a dinosaur level of old hot tub, something was found to not work in inspection and the old owners had someone "fix it" through their warranty. They did not fix it, at all. That's a whole other story I'll spare you. It was later mostly fixed. Then everything started falling apart after we got our own warranty, and the company we found who were also great sold it and closed up shop. Recently I went to clean the spa to refill it, and noticed it was literally falling apart. I had to stop cleaning it as I couldn't, so I jumped on here to try and find help, most responses I got said they weren't taking on new clients. Enter DJ and amber. Heaven sent magical beings. DJ gave me a fair estimate to replaster and paint it, came back maybe 6 times in 2 weeks to get it all done, was beyond responsive, hilarious, fun, my doggie loves him, and he's the type of guy I'd 110% be friends with. I was away while he finished fixing it up, and got endless updates in text and picture form and appreciated it more than I could express. I recently got home and found out the company sent by the warranty to fix the heater and the pump did neither of them. So I called DJ and he said he'd be over in 20 minutes to take a look. This guy is my hero, and though the issues are still bad and we're still getting bs runaround responses from companies, I feel safer and better knowing that when it comes down to it he'll make sure everything gets done. After being screwed over and burned by so many contractors over the years, it's so incredible to find someone who goes beyond above and beyond to get the jobs done. I don't ever wanna use another company as long as I have a pool or spa in my yard in Vegas.
