Renter Sean failed to return trailer properly cleaned failed to make trailer available for pick up after 30 days at $20 a day
    Phil C.

Xlnt service, phil delivered trailer for free no charge, phil lowered daily rental fee from $150 a day to $20 a day to meet Renters Sean g request. Renter Sean g agreed to allow me to pick up trailer but I couldnt get it back because he had it blocked in with trees and garbage pile. Renter Sean g failed to return trailer on due date and failed to properly clean it as it when it was delivered. see pics as proof of facts. I was warned not to rent to Sean g based on his inability to pay normal rate and after lowering from $150 to $20 a day he still complained and failed to meet contract agreements. Failed to return trailer on due date And renters guys damaged trailer trying to get it out from behind brush pile because renter Sean g had poor planning and wasn't present to address these issues and failed to respond to texts when trailer was due back. In regards to Christmas lights and teresa a she admitted she had a disorder with Excessive thoughts (obsessions) that lead to repetitive behaviors (compulsions). She had us install lights she bought. Then she had us remove and reinstall them 3x because she couldn't decide what she liked. So she had us buy more and didn't like those either.

Phil did a great job designing our Christmas lights. He has great ideas and his crew is fast! I love how our lights look from the street.

They said what they would do, and they did what they said. A rare characteristic in business these days. Glad to meet these folks.

Phenomenal experience! The install (completed in 2018) is absolutely first class. The sound quality…read more& setup makes the car more of a "transportation device for my stereo". Love it! Nearly as awesome is the post-install experience: I've been back twice to have settings reconfigured & they've been fantastic & super helpful. There's only one car audio place to visit & this is the one!

I went to Autosound Lab because of its long-standing reputation in Fresno. Unfortunately I had a…read morebad experience on several levels and would recommend taking your business elsewhere. Autosound Lab is under new ownership, and in my opinion it is not the Autosound Lab we used to know. **THE SALE** The owner was patient and helpful during the sale. My one nag: it felt like he was more focused on selling what he had in stock than on what my needs actually were. Business-friendly, not customer-friendly, in my opinion. **POST SALE** When I came back because the install wasn't done the way I understood we'd agreed (more on that below), the owner's demeanor changed completely, at least in my experience. He came across as short and confrontational rather than the helpful person from the sale. Before I could finish explaining what was wrong, it felt like he was already painting me as the problem -- too picky, that kind of thing. He even mentioned during that visit that he'd accidentally undercharged me and should have charged more, which struck me as a strange thing to say to a customer who came back with a complaint. My honest impression was that once he had my money, he wanted nothing more to do with me. **PROBLEM 1 -- THE INSTALL** I spent thousands of dollars, a premium price, and I expected a premium install. I chose Autosound Lab specifically for its reputation. Part of the job was custom work on the box to fit a custom setup in my vehicle. In my opinion they did a poor job the first time, and it left the whole setup compromised for my needs. I drove off hoping it would be fine, but after the shock wore off I brought it back -- and that's when, in my experience, the owner turned confrontational. Credit where it's due: they did fix it, and the second time they did a great job. Dealing with the owner through that process was the unpleasant part. **PROBLEM 2 -- THE RATTLE** When I got the vehicle back, I noticed a bass induced rattle from one of the doors with a new speaker. I was told that's just what happens when you add speakers to doors. For thousands of dollars, I would have hoped a premium shop would at least try to mitigate it -- to me that's part of a premium job. **PROBLEM 3 -- WHAT I FOUND** This past weekend I had time to pull the door panel to add some sound padding myself. When I got it open, I found a hole in one of the 6x9s, and when I went to pull the speaker to send it back to Kicker, I noticed the mounting bracket was cracked too. To be clear: I am NOT accusing Autosound Lab of damaging the speaker or the bracket -- I'm only describing what I found when I took it apart. I have no proof of how any of it happened, or even whether it's what's causing the rattle. I'm not a speaker expert and I'm still sorting that out. All I can say for certain is that the door rattled(when playing music) when I picked up the truck, and when I opened it up there was a hole in the speaker and a cracked bracket. Based on how my last visit went, I didn't want to go back, so I reached out to Kicker directly instead. To their credit, they're replacing the speaker under warranty. I'll install the new one myself and find out whether the bass rattle goes away. Credit to Kicker for standing behind their product. **CONCLUSION** In my opinion, Autosound Lab is not the Autosound Lab of years past. It's under new ownership, and the new owner has stated publicly -- in his own Yelp replies -- that he does not honor warranties or repair commitments made under the previous ownership. To me, this feels like Autosound Lab in name only. Worth noting: in the end it was Kicker, the manufacturer, that took care of me, not the shop that did the install. Different type of warranty, I realize, but it left an impression about who actually stands behind their customers. And based on how he's responded to other reviews, I expect the reply to this one will be more about defending himself than taking any of it on board. More than anything, though, I hope the owner's attitude toward customers changes. Reputation is what carried this shop for decades, and in my opinion, if people keep getting treated the way I was, I don't expect it to stay in business very long. I'd love to be proven wrong. Shout-out to the two installers -- both seemed like good guys.
