This place is the real deal. The tacos are cooked to order, so yes--it takes a little time. But wow, is it worth the wait. I had two tacos: asada and carnitas. Both came out hot off the grill with generous, juicy portions of perfectly seasoned meat. The flavors were rich and fresh, and the texture was spot-on. What really set them apart, though, were the homemade corn tortillas--warm, slightly chewy, and clearly made in-house with care. Just fantastic. I skipped the cilantro (not my thing), but the freshly diced onions added a nice crunchy contrast. And the salsas--oh man. They brought out two squeeze bottles, one red and one green. The green salsa was my favorite: cold, zesty, just the right amount of heat (about 5/10), and full of flavor and texture. The red salsa had a deeper kick and great flavor too--definitely not shy on the spice. A final squeeze of the lime wedge brought everything together perfectly. A customer who had eaten here 19 times told me to order their Fried Chicken.Everything is made fresh. Based on his recommendation I did. I placed my order for 3- 3 Piece Meals that consisted of a Breast, Thigh, and Wing. It came with a choice of a side. I chose 2 of their Campero Rice side, and 1 of their Baked Beans side. I also ordered an order of Chicken Nuggets, a side of Coleslaw, Yuca, and Sweet Plantains. I thought the sides could've been bigger, I'm used to bigger sides, and you definitely need to get multiple sauces for dipping the chicken, and Yuca. The Yuca was very a bit plain and needed a dipping sauce. I'm used to a garlic dipping sauce.
