They NEVER have fresh hot coffee at 3:30AM when I come in on my way to work! Four coffee burners and can only brew one at a time.

There are a ton of baked goods that smell SO good, I unfortunately did not order food, but next time I sure will! The service here is awesome, Cameron is a sweetheart and really funny and fun to talk to. If you need suggestions Cameron is more than willing to help there. For my coffee I got the specialty spring break in Tokyo, iced which was a nice light refreshing drink that I thoroughly enjoyed but the menu has a lot of options which makes it really hard to pick. The boutique items while few are super cute, from clothes to cat clips, pins, stickers and jewelry, definitely a lot of fun to dig through. For seating they have a good amount of seating, but the place does get filled up quick. There is also very little parking right infront but there is overflow parking in the lot next door. Too bad this cute little gem is so far away from me, if it were closer, this would definitely be a go to spot for me!

You'd never guess busy Fowler Avenue and all those shiny new businesses are just steps away. This is free-spirited, relaxing and zen. You can study here, chill-out and reset. It's colorful and very sunny, but it would also be the snuggliest place to sit while it's raining and just sip away and read. There are so many drink and food options here. I had the pistachio matcha with strawberry cold foam and a spinach/feta pastry. Both were good choices. You can order at the register or from a QR code and they'll call you to come get it. It's so casual and laid back. This adorable hangout would melt away any work frazzles I could possible walk in with. I love the low ceilings and the vintage hardwood floors and the slouchy couch and the eastern light streaming in the front window of this older, repurposed home. There's original artwork everywhere, including the ceiling (some of it's for sale). There's also a rack of clothing items, jewelry, scrunchies and other items for sale. I love the eclectic vibe-and the guitar propped up by the front window. Phoebe could definitely sing "Smelly Cat" here. Heck, they're so welcoming here, Ross could probably set up his keyboard and share "the sound." They DO have live music here-and a side patio. There's some parking up front and extra parking in back. And the service is friendly. I'm so glad I found this spot. I'll be back to try the apple fritter croissant and soak up more relaxation. Happy days from Felicitous!

This was my first time trying German food, and Mr. Dunderbak's was a great introduction…read more I ordered the Jägerschnitzel with veal, which is a herb-breaded Wiener schnitzel topped with a rich hunter gravy. The veal was incredibly tender, and the gravy was packed with flavor. It was a satisfying entrée that came with two sides. For my sides, I chose the pierogies and spätzle. The pierogies were honestly my favorite part of the meal. They were fluffy, cheesy, and generously filled. So delicious. I could have eaten a whole plate of just those. The spätzle was soft and well prepared, but compared to everything else, I found it a little boring. The restaurant itself is very cute and has a lot of character. I loved browsing the selection of German snacks, candy, and other imported items available for purchase. It added to the overall experience and made the place feel unique. While I'm not that familiar with German food, I thought this was a pretty good restaurant. Overall, I found German cuisine a little more muted than what I'm personally used to, but I still really enjoyed the meal and the experience. I'd be interested in trying more of the menu.

I had such high hopes for this place. :( The selection is very limited and perhaps I missed something (entirely possible), but I did not see a price list for the deli case. We did find a unique assortment of other German products- some we haven't seen in many years. The restaurant portion was quite busy and the customers looked happy. We were flooded with nostalgia and left in hopes of dining in on a less-busy day. I ordered two meats, including the German bologna. During the drive home, my family and I noticed a terrible odor-- the kind where we started pointing fingers at one another. We never suspected that the package from the deli was the source. When we opened it at home, a nauseatingly funky, ammonia-type smell came from the German bologna. While the liverwurst smelled okay, I could not trust it after the bologna and decided against keeping it. Wasted time and money. Dang! The staff is super nice and that was truly a plus. However, I doubt we will be back. My family is very bummed over this.

I went there today to pick up an order I placed through Uber Eats. Usually, when you pick up an Uber Eats order yourself, they don't require a verification code. However, when I went to the front and gave my name to the cashier, she asked if I had proof of the order. I told her no, as I had ordered on my computer and didn't have a code. She insisted she needed verification. My phone wasn't working at the moment, which I don't blame her for, but the way she handled the situation was incredibly frustrating. I waited 20 minutes before I actually got my food. The cashier stood there talking on her phone, claiming she needed to ask her manager, but she never actually did. I didn't hear her explain the situation or ask anyone for help. Instead, she just stayed on her phone and eventually slid the food over to me. There was no apology for the wait, no "here you go," and no "have a nice day." She just slid it over with a smile while still chatting on her phone. It felt like she was purposely inconveniencing me. As soon as I mentioned that I had my ID to prove who I was, it was suddenly no issue, and she handed it over without ever checking with a manager. Very disappointing experience. While the food itself still tastes good, it is simply no longer worth the money or the poor treatment. I never expected over the top, bubbly customer service, the staff that used to work here would just get the job done without the fake enthusiasm, and that was perfectly fine. But there is a massive difference between a worker just trying to get through their shift and one who actively goes out of their way to keep you waiting while talking on the phone. Between the disrespectful service and the shrinking portions, this place just isn't what it used to be.
