I've never experienced this level of inconsistency and lack of attention to detail at a fast food restaurant in my life. Not this bad. Not this egregious. When the main job is to get orders right, this place repeatedly falls shorter than a bad snap on a 4th down. Uber Eats confirmed HAB was 100% responsible for the promotion and promotion details. ISSUE ONE: DECEPTIVE MARKETING Uber Eats Promotion: BOGO Burger for $7.49. We decide to give it a try, never heard of Have-A-Burger. The business is located in an ice skating ring, think an expanded snacks counter. When placing the order through Uber Eats, there is a required selection for burger type, each option with an add-on price...no way to proceed without add-on pricing. This means that the BOGO Burger is really only BOGO Roll and Lettuce. There is NO WAY to check out with any Burger BOGO at the advertised price, 100% impossible. That is issue #1, and Uber Eats allows any vendor to write up anything and zero enforcement so restaurants can write up anything they want...totally allowed and zero consequences. $7.49 BOGO clocks out at minimum price $14.49, as if two burgers would be close to $30.00. ISSUE TWO: WHERE'S THE BEEF? Swear if you hold up the burger to the window you will see daylight. I haven't seen a burger this thin in my life.
